Hesperia Lanzarote - يازا

We had the most amazing week in the hisperia hotel! The hotel was beautiful as was the view and little marina close by, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing break in the sun.

The hotel is very child friendly with a pool that is .4m at the deepest for kids. It has a mini club with very friendly staff. They also kave kids rooms with a little toy at the bottom of the room and they leave in some treats at night and baloon swords etc. Overall very good.

Clean and well appointed hotel 5 minutes walk from the restaurants of Puerto Calero along a paved coastal path. Free WiFi worked well in our room. We ate in the a la carte restaurant one night and it was a bit bland. The rest of the time we strolled along to Puerto Calero marina where there was good choice. Breakfasts were comprehensive. We went out of school holiday time and so the hotel was not full. We would happily go back.

The island was perfect! Perfect weather, great beaches, great restaurants and great people. The hotel was perfect in every aspects. I have a 2yr old little girl so we chose the kid's room which is full of kids toys and decorated with paintings all over the wall...my girl was so excited to be in the room. There are excellent children's program at the hotel where children can get together with a teacher for all sort of fun and games. And in the evening there is the Mini Disco for children in the lobby lounge. Staff was helpful and kind and food at restaurants were great (breakfast buffee is fantastic). The hotel is located in the rather quiet part of the island so if you plan to stay at the hotel and relax, you might want to get the "all inclusive" plan. In summery, if you have children, this hotel is the place to stay on the island, period!

We love this hotel. It's always quiet and you're guaranteed a relaxing time. I wouldn't choose to stay on half board or all inclusive as the choice of restaurants is limited, also with the Marina only 10 minutes away you have a large choice of other restaurants. The hotel is a little worn and the management need to pay attention to the quality of the Sunbeds and Towels etc.

the food was up down all the time over all it was bad in the top1/12 were to have food we were in number 1 up to number 12 out of that 2 were good

We had the most wonderful family break in February. The room was superb for our needs, breakfast was excellent, and the location and grounds were beautiful. The only complaint we had was with the room service one night and the complaint was superbly well dealt with. Great staff and kids club !

Second trip to the Hesperia and won't be our last. The spa is fantastic. The staff are fabulous, super friendly and helpful. They organised a little welcome present as it was my other halfs birthday. I will definitely be back.

LOVELY BREAKFAST AND GREAT ZUMBA CLASSES

We stayed here in winter so the place was half-empty, but I think it's spacious enough not to feel overcrowded even in high season. The rooms were lovely and all the public spaces were nice and clean, and the staff were friendly and charming. The breakfast was fabulous with enough variety to have something different every morning (buffet). The buffet dinners were quite good but there wasn't much variety apart from different meats (which were v good) and some variation in the starters (mostly v good too). We walked to the marina most afternoons and it was very nice but we didn't have a chance to see it in the evening (because of our baby daughter's bedtime) but there were loads of bars and restaurants so I'm sure it would have been quite lively. We'll definitely stay at the Hesperia next time we're in Lanzarote.

We went to rest and recuperate and accomplished both. Staff were incredibly friendly and personable and we used the spa almost daily. (Massage treatment was world class.) We didn't leave the hotel (!) except to go to the marina (usually for lunches and dinners), a great range of restaurants about a ten minute walk away. We think we will probably return next year for more of the same.

This is a very kids friendly hotel in a nice area beside a marina with nice restaurants and bars. It also had a diving centre for me. Overall very good quality hotel at a resonable price.

The hotel and staff were both excellent. The room was a good size and was cleaned daily. The service from all staff was excellent. We were half board and would pay for full board next time. The food is brilliant and you have so much choice at the buffet breakfast and dinner. The pools were nice but the best thing was the proximity to the sea, you could walk down to a private beach and swim from there. Would definitely go back!

Stayed for 5 days in May. Hotel was fab but the area was very quite. Staff were friendly and pool area was very nice, although the pools were freezing cold. Buffet breakfast was the best we have seen in all of our travels.

Hotel is located on a beautiful spot and serves good breakfast buffet. Good vibes in this place! Though in februari it was a bit windy and cold esp. in the evenings. So take warm clothes with you.

Came back last week after spending 5 nights at this hotel after 1 week self catering in costa teguise. Was looking forward to a bit of luxury at a 5 star hotel with spa facilities. Firstly didn't bother with spa as when we arrived we found out it was another 60 euros each! infect everything is extra at this hotel. You pay to hire a kette or an ironing board! No concierge to meet and greet. real lack of information on hotel facilities. Front of house staff don't seem happy to me. The hotel was quiet and it was totally lacking in atmosphere. Souless. The rooms were dated and bland. Clean yes but a lot of the furniture is chipped and damaged. definitely not 5 star. We moved rooms 3 times. Cockroach in room on bed which we told them about. They said they sorted it. next night a huge one in the bath. So we changed rooms. the room they tried to put us in was depressing, overlooking car park. Shoddy furniture. Moved us again. Most annoying thing is they weren't really bothered. Last room we were in had chip in coffee table. I rang To complain but to be honest gave up and put up with it. Fine if you've got some kids and want a week away. But for couples looking for a bit of pampering I would pay more and try to find a bit of luxury. Also it's out on a limb. You definitely need a car unless you want to stay round pools which are not heated. Even the one they say is heated is freezing. Be warned. No one was in the pools!! I've decided to self cater in future. These supposedly 5 stars are really apart hotels anyway without facilities to make your own drinks. Just loads of rooms built around a main reception block. Rip off drink prices and poor service.

Pros: very peaceful and beautiful surroundings, away from excessive tourism Cons: no sandy beach nearby

The Hesperia is a great hotel. From the well presented rooms, great setting and friendly and efficient staff - all contributed to a wonderful holiday. The buffets were excellent, especially the breakfast choices and the home-made pancakes! Theresa - who welcomed guests into the restaurant - was a joy! She remembered guests and their interests and was unfailingly both professional and friendly - a real asset to the hotel! The facilties were great as well - beautiful swimming pools and public areas, and a lovely spa. This hotel is one that all can enjoy - couples, families and groups of friends.

Wonderful breakfast and a lovely spa in beautiful Puerto Calore one of the best places on Lanzarote.

Nice Hotel for relaxing and admiring the ocean, Good choice for breakfast the only thing is if going there for supper you will see some of the same things again for supper. Suite are nice and cleaned twice a day. Lots od activities in the hotel and great kids club. Lack of management around and not a great welcoming on arrival, also no porter on duty a lot of the time so be perpared to carry you own bags. Good entertainment in the evening. Overall a few things to improve on but very relaxing

perfect hotel for a reasonably priced quiet break in the sun

Staff, particularly at Reception, were extremely helpful. Hotel and spa beautiful. Restaurant excellent. Very handy to shops/restaurants at marina. Very relaxing holiday. Thoroughly recommend it!

It's now the third time I have visited the Hesperia and every time we love our stay there. If you are looking for a wild time then don't choose this hotel but if you want a beautiful location and relaxing time, then this is for you. The hotel is not 5 star and needs to improve to facilities to warrant a 5 star listing. My main criticism would be the food offerings and the bar facilities. Apart from the breakfast the food was average. The drago pool bar served what has to be the worst food on the Island and at 10€ a sandwich not cheap either! The hotel needs to look at it's restaurants and improve quickly, we stayed for 9 nights and only eat at the hotel twice (evening time) The hotel should invest in a good bar, on most nights the only option was to sit in the Piano Bar which is housed in the vast reception area, no atmosphere whatsoever ! Why a hotel with such a beautiful setting doesn't have a bar to sit in and watch the sunsets, the bar closes at 5.30 and doesn't reopen until 9. The chill out bar on the beach is another example, when does a chill our bar play "right said Fred" and 90's disco music? The management just seem to leave the bar staff bring their own music choice in! Overall a great hotel which could be a fabulous place if they got a few things sorted. I noticed the hotel has been taken over by nh hotels , so we might see an improvement! I hope so, we love this place.

everything was great although we did upgrade at check in as our room did not have a view (well only of car park) no problem and not expensive to upgrade and had fanyastic pool view and sea and surrounding mountains amazing. I cannot praise the staff enought they were so polite and helpfull in every part of the hotel. The spa is fantastic and again the staff very helpful. I woudl recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be returning again at the next possible chance. Although we only live in Fuerteventura across the water to Lanzarote this mini break served us well and we were most impressed with the standard of the sevice and the politeness of rthe staff. A MUST do on your list

Las instalaciones son fantasticas y el servicio tambien.El desayuno espectacular. Para niños genial.Espacios muy grandes y decorado con mucho detalle.Si volvemos a Lanzarote repetiremos seguro!

Somos clientes habituales de este hotel por su excelente ubicación, buen servicio, comodidad de las habitaciones y ambiente tranquilo y relajado. Cerca de algunas de las principales atracciones de Lanzarote como el parque natural de Papagayo o el de Timanfaya.

Agradable cubriendo las espectativas de un hotel de esa categoría. La atención, instalaciones, comidades, etc. todo a la altura para pasar unos días fantásticos de vacaciones. La situación es perfecta, fudera de los núcleos intensos de turismo, lo que permite descansar totalmente.

In Italia un albergo di pari livello avrebbe un costo molto più elevato. In generale siamo rimasti soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno. Unico difetto: nella camera c'era una terribile puzza di fogna che proveniva dagli scarichi del bagno. In compenso il mattino successivo abbiamo fatto una colazione a buffet favolosa: cura dei dettagli, vastissima scelta, tutto buonissimo!

Vi er meget tilfredse med opholdet, og kommer gerne igen. Beliggenheden er fantastisk, og kan dårligt fås bedre. Omkringliggende område, Puerto Calero og marinaområdet, er ligeledes fantastisk lækkert. Der er rent og pænt overalt og en afslappet atmosfære. Vandet i hotellets pools er dog meget koldt, intet stort problem men det overraskede os alligevel.Servicekvaliteten fin, rengøring fin - alt i alt en rigtig god ferie!

Très bien, mais attention que c'est un endroit tres calme non accessible en bus. Parfait si vous ne voulez pas sortir de l hotel ou aller dans le port de puerto calero sinon il faut une voiture (cela ne coute pas cher du tout).

La estancia fue muy bien. El hotel esa situado en una dw las zonas mas bonitas de Lanzarote, Puerto Calero. Dentro del hotel todo bastante nuevo. Lo precios de comida y bebidas muy razonables. En general todo estupendo y muy tranquilo. Ideal para relajarse con la pareja.

Calidad-precio aceptable, pero para nada parece un hotel 5 estrellas. La limpieza deja un poco que desear, y los detalles son inexistentes. Sin embargo, también hay que decir que el personal que atiende en el desayuno es muy agradable y atento. Merece la pena ir a este hotel si encontrais una buena oferta, como a mi me ocurrió. Ah!!! Indispensable habitación con vistas al mar.

Rauhallinen,siisti hotelli. Puitteet kohdallaan. Hyvät aktiviteetit mm. yoga,stretsing. Lenkkipolkuja ja hyvää ruokaa riittävästi. Spa ja "rautaosasto" vähän vaatimattomammat.

Hôtel bien situé, pas trop loin de l'aéroport tout en étant dans un lieu tranquille à proximité d'un petit port sympathique. Ce n'est toutefois pas un 5 étoiles, malgré sa prétention, mais un bon 4*.

Ikke helt 5 stjerner men i nærheten. Veldig god frokost og fine bade og sol områder. Greit treningsstudio. Ikke basseng med stupebrett og dypt vann. Barnevennlig. Veldig rent og fint.

Das architektonisch schöne Hotel mit gutem Spa und guten Pools liegt am Rande von Puerto Calero, einem Retortenort, der nicht so recht zu florieren scheint. Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel ist der Service unangemessen schlecht: lange Schlangen an der Rezeption, diese ist telefonisch so gut wie nie erreichbar, Anrufe von außerhalb werden nicht abgenommen, mit Pool-Handtüchern wird man durch die Gegend geschickt, um sich eine Art Rückgabekarte geben zu lassen, mit der man dann an der Rezeption nach erneutem Anstehen sein Deposit zurückbekommt etc etc. Das Personal an der Rezeption erscheint überfordert und ist überwiegend unfreundlich.
