Nice hotel BUT too much noise from trains. I was given a room which had a bathroom for a disabled person which was with a small shower and NO bath.

Stayed here on our honeymoon, couldn't have asked for a better place for the money. The staff was extremely helpful with speedy check in/out. Concierge staff was on their A game the entire time. Room was cleaned daily and very comfortable. The bar was nice but a bit expensive ( but that's London). Vauxhall tube station is only a five minute walk which isn't bad at all. There is a grocery store next door that has about everything you need. Was a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. The room was large and comfortable. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly and imeadiately responded to my request for an iron and ironing board. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast. It would be lovely if we could have caught a river bus outside the hotel (this is not the fault of the hotel) but enjoyed the walk to the theater at Covent Garden and back seeing the sites of The Houses Of Parliment, The Thames and The Eye at night.

This hotel is at a level above our usual choices, but it was an excellent value for the money. It is right across from the Thames, and we enjoyed walking along the side of the river: views of Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and London Eye. Our room overlooked the opposite side facing the railroad tracks. Trains were frequent: 2-5 per minute passed by until late at night, and while you could hear them, the sound was sufficiently muffled that the didn't disturb. We would definitely stay there again.

quite a nice hotel. close to the parliament. but did not make it into those rooms with good view.

This hotel was not particularly convenient to anything in London. I booked twin beds since I was with teeange son; my room had two beds but they were not separated at all; it was more like a king bed. when i complained, they moved me to another room that was identical. The air conditioning was not on and I could not sleep it was so hot; they offered me a small fan that i used to prop open the window to bring in cool air. The bathroom sink was clogged as well. The television volume was so low you couldn't hear the broadcast. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Good comfortable modern hotel. Good location. Within walking distance of many landmarks and in proximity of public transit

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE AN AWEFUL EXPERIENCE IN LONDON. Checked in after midnight to a very rude and unhelpful middle age gentlemen who instead of responding to our question stood there and ignored use. We arrived at our room to find that it was a disabled room with no bath and backed onto a noisy train track/line. The toilet did not flush and the red cord which dangled on you whilst you where on the toilet set the alarm off. After a lengthy wait we were moved to a new room, half the size with severely stained carpet. The following night the room was so hot we asked reception to fix our air-conditioning as it would not cool. The third night, the room was like a sauna so much so at 2am we had to move to a final third room. Which was also warm however a fan was provided to keep us cool. Customer relations were quite apologetic and kind enough to give us a cocktail voucher, however we were talking to 5 other families that where also provided cocktail vouchers. This hotel has potential however the staff let it down.

The hotel put us in a room next to train tracks and so we were woken up in the early hours of the morning because of noisy trains. Needless to say we were not impressed and it ruined our stay.

conveniently located however you need to ask for a River facing room because although the hotel is on the Thames,only certain rooms have views of the Thames and Big Ben. checking out was very slow and the breakfast restaurant was being renovated.So as far as vicinity to London eye and historic monuments is concerned it would be hard to beat this hotel.It is 10 minutes walk from Vauxhall station.

Will defenitly use this hotel again.

hotel lovely, clean, efficient, bar excellent, staff pleasant but view very poor especially the twin room overlooking railway as when hotel booked we were told it was where you watched the fireworks on the river. Overall though a pleasant stay, would recommend it but would also recommend they ask about the view from the room especially if they are staying for a significant length of time.

I arrived on the 17th March and had booked four days prior to my stay. When i arrived at the hotel i was taken back by the beautiful decor, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff on reception. The room was clean and tidy with air conditioning which was great as it was sunny day with the sun directly in my room. I had made plans to eat at the Pan Asian restaurant, hwoever due to making last minute changes i needed to cancel the reservation, i received an email confirmation from the hotel and a courtesy call when out in London to confirm the booking had been cancelled. This was great as i could have been liable for a £20.00 cancellation fee for not arriving at the time slot i had booked. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and will defiently be returning in the near future. The outside of the hotel catered for smokers, with music playing and a seatingarea for comfort. The little extras really count almost a home from home environment. Thank you

My boyfriend and I went to this hotel for a romantic valentines weekend. We arrived a couple of hours earlier than check in time but they found us a room which was ready for us to have. We also upgraded to the 11th floor in which we got the full use of their Executive lounge area. This meant you could use the room which had a couple of tv's, Computers to use the internet on, A drinks fridge in which you could have anything out of and tea and coffee machines. They also served cakes, fruit and continental breakfast here. In addition to this we also got late checkout which gave us another hour in bed! And to dine in the 5* restaurant for beakfast instead of the 3*. All of this was for an extra £25 which we thought very reasonable. The hotel's restaurant "Chino Latino" is wonderful! Definately go there for dinner but only if you're prepared for the prices. a glass of champagne (of which i had two!) was £11 and after that and some starters and mains our bill came to over £100! The hotel is a little distance from the main attractions of london. Although within walking distance as long as you don't have hundreds of shopping bags and don't mind a little walk. Also there is a Trainline right behind it so ask for a quiet room. The room was light and airy. Lots of cute amenities in the bathroom including robes and slippers and even mouthwash. And always a bonus when you have a seperate shower to the bath! The staff were very polite and helpful. Especially the restaurant staff who were very friendly. Overall it was a perfect romantic break for us.

All the staff members were very courteous. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel location is away from the main drag but this was great. It overlooks the Thames and allows for a nice walk along the river. Short walk to the underground station. I will choose this hotel again.

Great staff, Great restaurants just a great overall experience for a layover on way back to U.S. after a stressful trip to receive medical procedure in the Ukraine.

Took my husband for weekend in London. Hotel had good location for what we had planed. Staff was pleasant and hotel was very nice. would recommend and stay again

We didn't spend a great deal of time in the hotel through sightseeing plans but the overall sevcie was great, the hotel was clean and the staff friendly check in was quick check out the same will hopefully stay there again

This is an excellent hotel situated on the Albert Embankment. My room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. There's not very much in the area around the hotel but if you want a quality stay with good views, then this is one for you.

Fantastic place great staff

fabulous hotel brilliant location , very new , very clean , drinks a bit expensive in the bar but not to bad considering location . House of Parliament just across the river 5min walk from Vaxhall tube station . will stay there again

Recently spent one night here for a close friends birthday. I picked the hotel mainly because I have stayed in Park Plaza hotels in the past and been very impressed. This was no exception, the lobby and bar were most impressive as were the christmas decorations that were just going up. As we were only there for a night and had activities planned throughout London, we didn't spend as much time at the hotel as I would have liked. I can definitely say the bathroom and room were spotless, the bed was comfortable and no noise was heard whatsoever from surrounding rooms or the road. Our view was...undesirable. But it didn't spoil our stay particularly. Having returned from our late night antics very early in the morning, 24 hour room service was greatly welcomed. The prices weren't too bad, although they did forget one of the dishes we had ordered. One phone call though and this was removed from our bill. The food came quickly too and was a good temperature. The quality was so-so. Breakfast the next morning was more inviting with a wide selection available, the interesting notice in the lift informing us that due to a large occupancy that weekend the peak times for breakfast would be 9:30-11:00am. The times we went down. We had to wait for a while to get a table but when we did, the table was clean and the staff courteous and quick. I was a little disappointed that check-out was slow, and people were queuing to check out at 12pm. I can't help but feel this could have been handled better. Overall though I would recommend this hotel, despite its location from our activities I would stay here again. Though this time, with a riverview!

I have given other Park Plaza hotels in this group good ratings in the past. However, this particular stay had a couple of issues, which made it unpleasant. Firstly, I noticed that the door to the room would not click shut. I had been there a whole night before realizing this. It seems to me that security, management or housekeeping should have been aware of this. Safety and security ought to be paramount. They attempted to fix it and it appeared to work for a while, but it soon became inoperable. By the time they offered a room change I had only one night left. Secondly, the air conditioning system would not work unless I was present in the room, and even then, was ineffective. This meant that when i was out, the room was baking hot. They suggested opening a window, and did provide a small, ineffective desk fan. However, as the room overlooked some railway tracks, the rattle of trains going past every 10 minutes was unpleasant and did not make for a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel's management needs to ensure that all of the rooms are in a secure and habitable condition before offering them out to guests.

London is over-rated constantly, on the other hand this hotel will deliver on your expectations of a World Class destination. My advice, don't try to do London on the cheap...it's not worth it and there are other cities to enjoy more for less. If you do choose London, this hotel will pleaes you for the money.

The location is right on the Thames and walking distance to restaurants and cafes. The hotels itself is clean, modern, good restaurant/bar.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Plaza in downtown London. We were able to walk to most of the sites we wanted to visit and loved coming back to the great room.

I have stayed at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel - London several times and will do again. A centrally located hotel with just the right amount luxury for a business or pleasure trip.

This is oe of my favorite hotels in central london. Modern, chic and confortable, close to westminster and a short walk from all the southbank. Great service and high quality food. The only downside is the trendy by expensive resaurant. Had a bill of £210 for an evening meal for two from their sampler menu that admittedly included 2 bottles of low end wine but excluded desert or coffee.

Good stay overall but disappointed with facilities in room. Only one bath robe and slippers for 2 people and coffee and chocolate etc were really only for 1 person. Also quite small for an executive room

Great Hotel. A little problem finding the right one since there are 3 Park Plaza Hotels on the same street.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The room was smaller this time, but certainly a nice room. On this occasion,the one drawback was the noise of the trains running up and down the track. They could be clearly heard when I was trying to get to sleep.I did not notice this the last time I stayed. There was no swimming pool either.Otherwise it is a good hotel.

A beautiful hotel with stunning entrance foyer and reception. Very efficent and courteous staff. Breakfast was full buffet and full English fry for ten pounds sterling which I thought very good value. I had a problem with my room dvd player but was sorted fast by room service. Quiet rooms yet convenient location. Have stayed before and standards had not fallen. Was only literally a few pounds more per night than a near by 3 star hotel....yet there was a world of difference!! Needed to change on last day in the evening (after checking out) and staff gave me key to fitness suite where I was able to shower.

The service was excellent - front desk were very helpful when i wanted to change my room because it was a little dark for me. Well run and good value.

We were very please with the Park Plaza Riverbank. It was clean and very comfortable. We were able to walk to some of the major sites. The only 2 negative things I might mention is that the underground was a bit of a walk, but not overly. The second would be that our bed was a bit firmer than we would have liked but the room was a generous size and the staff was wonderful and very helpful. If we were to come back to London again we would consider staying there again.

Highly recommended. Lovely rooms with a great bathroom. Drinks in the hotel bar are expensive but this is all part of the London experience!

This park plaza is a lovely hotel, and in an ideal location ... there is a lovely little cafe down the road and it is just a short walk to the London Eye. Although we did not pay to have a room at the front of the hotel, the rooms facing the back do not have a bad view (quite a pretty one at night when lit up), and also even though there is a train line running directly behind the hotel, due to good, thick windows no noise can be heard. Room was lovely decorated, very impressed and would definitly stay at this hotel again when staying in London.
