We had a good room and everything looked well maintained but we took some time to find the place as the address was not recognized by the navigation software. Breakfast was ok but staff were too snooty and impolite. I would not go back.

Centrally located in Tuscany near Siena right off the freeway. Excellent staff and service; greeted us with a smile and very helpful with telling us about places to visit in the area. Breakfast was absolutely the best we had among many hotels we stayed in Italy, in addition to standard breakfast items they have freshly squeezed orange juice, ham and cheese and eggs etc. Free wifi, parking, pool and spa are great too. Must have a car if you stay in this hotel as it is not walking distance to anything; which was perfect for us since we wanted to stay in a quit place away from touristy areas with traffic and parking problems but still be able to take day trips to all the best sightseeing spots in Tuscany. The hotel has a very modern design and cool style but unfortunately is showing signs of neglect on maintenance (mostly cosmetic around showers and pool areas) not a big deal considering the price range but just an observation. We would absolutely stay there again.

The hotel staff were very helpful and the location was perfect for us. We were just a few minutes from Siena. the breakfast was great and the capuchino was the best. The room was quiet, neat and clean.

We loved this hotel!!! Came over from the US and did not know what to expect. We had a blast and loved the hotel! The staff, and especially Erny the bartender, were great! Would stay here again...no question!

Located 15 min driving from the city walls of Siena, but easy to find. Must have a car. There's a excellent coffee break, the best I saw during my trip in Italy. From the balcony you can enjoy the tuscan landscapes. Overall the price is very reasonable. Recomended.

staff was great. we had 3 in a room and it was not worth the extra money we paid. they just had a very small uncomfortable fold out for the 3rd person to sleep on and there was very little room for 3 people plus luggage to fit in that room and still move around.

Christiana and Nico (hotel staff) went above and beyond to help us in our travels. The entire staff was courteous and very helpfull. The stay at the hotel was amazing and the views of the countryside outside the hotel were breath taking. All A + ratings for the entire experience.

The location was hard to find and you could not find any restaurants in the near. The hotel restaurant was indoor and not very exciting and also expensive. The closest little village had no restaurants, pizza bars, trattories. There was a supermarket 10 min. drive from the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Montaperti Hotel. Very close to Siena about 10-15 min drive. Located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Especially enjoyed the pool during the hot afternoons in Siena.

A good value - excellent room and service but difficult to find even with GPS

Montaperti was a great modern hotel with good service. Excellent value for money. Great breakfast selection. Dinner was very good too.

If you like a countryside view and get exposed to Tuscany setting, this hotel is an ideal choice.

This is a great hotel for exploring the surrounding areas of Siena and Chianti. It is in the middle of nowhere and as a very relaxed atmosphere. You need to have a rented car, but for us it was perfect. The rooms were large, staff friendly and breakfasts were great. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a few days stay as part of a road trip around Tuscany

HOTEL IS BEAUTIFULLY PLACED TO EXPLORE SIENA AND TUSCAN VILLAGES

Driving a car is the best way how to get to the hotel, but they have a local bus stop in front of the hotel to ride a bus to Siena.

it was very easy to get to hotel. the hotel is close to high way , but in quite neiborhood.Staff is really helpfull. The only problem was that there isn't any restorant besides of the hotel's restorant and it's very expensive.

Really nice stay in this hotel; people are really nice and standard are very good. Very nice to enjoy the swimming pool and breakfast. We enjoyed it as it is ideally located to visit chianti and sienna.

This hotel was all it was rated to be. The desk staff was friendly, helpful and quite knowledgeable. We were so satisfied, we booked an additional night because of the location to Siena and the Tuscany area.

The Hotel was to find on E78 coming from Rome but it was hard find it from the City of Siena.

For a trend follower and design freak like me, this hotel is pretty cool! Very modern, nothing to do with Tuscany in my mind, but I liked it. The rooms are spacious and modern. Bar/Lounge area are spectacular. Pool and terrace are really nice. The only area that this hotel needs to work on, is the breakfast - food and attitude of the staff... It is a buffet style in a beautiful area of the hotel, but the food is scarce... or just not there! You have to ask for coffee, instead of having a simple coffee maker available or a coffee pot brought to your table. We had breakfast there 3 mornings, and every morningswe never got a smile or a simple hello from the staff working there... Aside from that, the rest of the hotel staff, dinner restaurant/reception/bar were very nice and ready to help out.

Hotel was chosen on the basis it had air conditioning and a swimming pool.Swimming pool was as advertised and was of great benefit to cool down after a hot day sightseeing.Air con was simply not up to the July weather and the room was very warm during the night causing an uncomfortable nights sleep.The finish and detailing of the decor was not to the best quality,plaster was uneven.Breakfast was adequate as best.

Great hotel for the price. Close to Sienna in the heart of Tuscany. Excellent location as a base to see Tuscany. On the other side of the nearby highway was an excellent restaurant by the aqua borra

We stayed in the Montaperti in October of 2009 and thought it was great. The modern decor was unique to all of the other hotels we stayed in over our 10 day trip. The room was clean, comfortable and conveniently located off of the autostrada just outside of Siena. It is ideal for those renting a car that don't want to stay inside the chaos of Siena's traffic.

We were disappointed with this hotel. In the pictures it looked really stylish but when we got there the hotel was in disrepair and not clean. It is really ashame because it was a cool, modern concept but it has not been maintained. I saw several things in the hotel that should have been fixed and weren't. Above all, the hotel was dirty. Also, the hotel staff was not friendly and the walls of the room were paper thin so that you could hear everything going on in other rooms around you. The one positive note was it had a good dinner restaurant and decent breakfast. Avoid this hotel.

Quiet location. Very modern and comfortable. With a car, it is in close proximity to Siena and the freeway leading to other small towns in the Tuscany region. Very nice restaurant with good food and an excellent breakfast included with the price of the hotel room. Suggestion to ensure that if there is more than 1 guest staying in the room to obtain a 2nd key. Once you leave the room with your key the lights and electricity go out unless another person staying keeps their own key in the inside slot.

A good hotel, with a modernist design. Very impressive first impressions, and although over the stay realised it was not as good as first thought, it is still very good value for money.

We stayed here for two nights in August 2009. They had the best breakfast of all 6 of the hotels we stayed in on our trip. The croissants were freshly baked, there was a station for freshly-squeezed orange juice, there was a staff member always on hand to bring you specialty coffee (if you didn't want the American they had out), the cakes were homemade. The only downside of the hotel was that there was no wireless internet access in the rooms (you had to go down to the lobby). Otherwise, the service was fantastic, the location was beautiful, the fitness center and pool were added bonuses.

L'hotel è molto comodo per visitare Siena, le terme ed è all'inizio della bellissima strada panoramica delle crete senesi. Le camere sono pulite, lo staff gentile e la colazione è abbondante.

Diseño moderno, confortable. Ubicado en plena Toscana rural. Muy lindo paisaje.

Bon établissement Avons particulièrement apprécié le SPA Très bon petit déjeuner. Un point qui pourrait toutefois être amélioré : la salle de bain avec la baignoire (pas à la hauteur de l'établissement)

Muitos pontos negativos: - quarto para face norte estava um verdadeiro forno, 29 graus marcava o termometro qdo chegamos. ao tentar ligar o ar condicionado, outra surpresa: nao funciona. ao abrir a janela para entrar um ar, mais uma: mosquitos. - internet gratis, soh na recepcao, com pessimo sinal. Ai a recepcao te oferece uma internet paga, para usar no quarto somente. era melhor ter dito que era paga desde o inicio. - qdo penso que tudo terminou e vou dormir em uma cama aconchegante, puxo a colcha e encontro um lencol furado. Penso comigo: boa noite......

Hotellet ligger nær ved motorvejen, og dermed et perfekt udgangspunkt for dem der selv vil køre rundt og opleve området. Servicen var i top og personalet altid smilende og villige til at guide og hjælpe. Værelserne var store og rene, og rengøringen fandt sted hver dag.

It's a perfect choice for a car trip aorund Tuscany since it is quite central in relation to top destinations in the region such as Siena, San Gigminano, Chianti, Montepulciano, Pienza e San Quirico D'Orcia. Rooms are well decotared the warm pool is the perfect rest after a day driving around and strolling the steep pools of Tuscany medieval cities.

Montaperti er et rigtig, godt udgangspunkt for at tage på opdagelse i Toscana's bedste områder, de sydlige. Hotellet er rigtig godt - men dets beliggenhed kræver, at du har bil til rådighed. Lidt bedre vejbeskrivelse til stedet kunne være ønskeligt, eks. at man skal tage motorvejen mod Arezzo, og 7 km ude (fra Siena), skal dreje af ved afkørsel Casetta. Men hotellet, dets faciliteter og personale - det får absolut varme anbefalinger med herfra. Flemming, Aalborg
