Parkview Hotel - سيراكوز

I went up to Syracuse for a wedding. The hotel itself was fine. The room was clean and spacious. The decor was aesthetically pleasing. This was just fine if you're looking for a comfortable place to rest your head at night. I'd suggest it if you're on business or something of that nature. I don't necessarily recommend this hotel for vacation purposes as there is nothing to do, i.e. no room service, no bar, no pool, etc... I guess what I'm saying is I wouldn’t stay there for more than two days, tops. Then again, I'm not sure I'd stay in Syracuse for more than two days, tops. The one complaint my fiancée had about the room was the shower. It was not enclosed so the water ended up all over the floor. Overall though, it was a good experience.

The Good: Ample on-site free parking. The hotel is clean, in great shape and well cared for. The on-site Stefon's Place offers a decent selection for incidental hot or cold foods. The room was clean and the well kept (and fast) old GE elevators absolutely charming. The Bad: The front desk, when asked did not mention Stefon's Place for eating but instead suggested a short walk to an undesirable pizza place. I finally got in my car and found somewhere else to eat. The neighborhood is sketchy and if you're looking for anything with a short walk you're going to be disappointed. The fitness room was crowded and had low ceilings, I had to duck on the eliptical. The Ugly: The in-room wireless internet "service" is the worst I've seen in any hotel and virtually useless for working. In order to get anything done, I balanced my computer on a railing in the downstairs lobby to maintain a signal. I would never stay here again on business and because of the neighborhood (not their fault) only in a pinch for non-business travel.

Clean, quiet and very affordable compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel was within walking distance to Armory Square and also had quite a few restaurants nearby. The only thing I would recommend improving is the wi-fi service; it was fairly unreliable from our room, which was on the 5th floor. Access was good in the lobby and other parts of the hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

Very clean, very convenient, everything I should have needed... except blazing fire alarms at 6AM on the second day of the stay that they couldn't figure out how to silence for over 20 minutes... and the failure to execute the wake up call on the next morning, resulting in me missing an important meeting. Overall, a failure of the hotel on multiple fronts.

My husband was having surgery at Crouse Irving, which was very close to our hotel. The hotel looks old from the outside but it is very clean, we did not use any service other than check in and the staff was friendly and courteous. Room was very comfortable. Will stay again if needed.

Great site if visiting or transporting students to/from Syracuse U. Not a stellar neighborhood. Hotel was nice, nothing fantastic, but comfortable. Great dual-headed shower. Frree parking behind hotel (at your own risk). With the 10% off Hotels.Com coupon, it was a great price.

This hotel made my stay with my daughter who is a student atSyracuse very relaxing. you're place was clean,friendly, and very affordable. We enjoyed it so much we booked another visit with our daughter. Keep up the great work. Especially the front dest. We stayed March 31 thru April 3 Again thank you.

I thought the shuttle service was excellent and the front desk staff at check in and check out were great. We only had a problem with your heating system. It shut off and on all night and it woke us up often. We turned it off early in the morning but it was too late for us to fall back to sleep. We wanted to turn it off at night but thought we'd be cold. There was very little insulation around the windows. So, I probably wouldn't stay here again because of the bad sleep.

Great option in Syracuse. Close to the University, though I would not walk. Room was large and clean. Wine bar and coffee in the am in a bright, very friendly spot. Would recommend.

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and were even told about a shuttle to the club that I was performing at, so we only had to pay cab fare one way. Also, when my companion needed a band aid as we were leaving for my gig both the desk clerk and the shuttle bus driver dropped everything to find one for her. This is our second stay at your hotel and we were just as happy this time as we were the last time we stayed there. The only thing missing was an envelope for the maid, so we left the tip on the desk. Keep up the good work and Thank you for putting the guest first. We'll be back I can assure you of that.

I was visiting my son at University of Syracuse and was really happy with the location of this hotel to his dorm. It was an old hotel but that had class and quiet clean rooms. The cafe ajoining had a great cup of cappucino too!

Wonderful experience. The hotel was gorgeous. Clearly a recently renovated boutique hotel. Everyone was helpful and very nice, the room was large, clean and very desirable. I can't wait to stay there again and I can't say enough about my experience there. Thanks so much!

Located adjacent to the Syracuse University campus, the hotel is centrally located in Syracuse for easy access to the rest of the City. The hotel was clean and quiet, staff were friendly and unobtrusive. The wine/coffee bar is very nice with a view of the park across the street. We appreciated the use of the guest's kitchen, fitness room, and lobby lounge. Parking is located behind the hotel at no additional cost. Bathroom and room were clean. Bed was comfortable. Minor complaints - could have used another sitting chair or small dining table in the room (the room is certainly large enough for it), a nonworking iron (which was replaced), and a burned out light bulb (also replaced). Overall, was pleasantly surprised by this "boutique hotel" and would stay there again. Definitiely more charm and charisma then some other choices located out at Carrier Circle.

Nice place, great location, reasonable price. My only dissappointment: promised shuttle service back the airport wasn't available, so I they got me a cab -- and I had to pay the $28 plus tip. Showed my how nice it was to have airport transport at least one way, and if they guarantee it both ways, it's a great deal.

We enjoyed our stay at the Parkview hotel. The bathroom shower was wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There is free parking, friendly service, good internet service, and a nice cafe.

The hotel is in great physical shape, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, even having real cotton sheets and bedspreads rather than the slinky ones found so often these days. Staff was was very helpful - went out of their way.

Our stay was wonderful...rooms were clean, staff was excellent. When we arrived, the man at the front desk was very helpful...our room was perfect except that there were no blankets on the bed. But, one phone call to the front desk and the same man brought 2 right up to our room! The next morning there was a young lady at the desk and I had all sorts of questions, which she answered all and helped us plan our day at Syracuse University...which is just up the street! It was snowy and windy, however, I would definately go back to this hotel when it is warmer and walk around downtown syracuse!

This is a great, spacious boutique hotel with a cute lobby and lounge area, great huge king beds, large spacious rooms, flat screen t.v., refrigerator, everything you need! I would stay here again in a second...way better and far less expensive that the Crowne hotel next door. And you have to get lunch or breakfast at the cafe attached to the hotel...this place has everything!

Excellent service and very nice room. Convenient downtown location. Parking lot behind hotel. Definitely recommend charming, large room.

Hotel has nice decor and is very clean. Staff was very helpful and professional. Will stay at Parkview Hotel again and certainly would suggest to friends. Parking was convenient.

My daughter and I were visiting Syracuse University and wanted a hotel close to the school. We arrived late at the Parkview after a very lengthy drive. The front door was locked but someone immediately let us in (this is a boutique hotel). The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Our room was spacious. The beds were a little small but the room was so large. Its an older hotel so its quirky. We got a good nights sleep and then checked with the front desk about eateries and distance to the school. We drove to the school but it is within walking distance. The young lady at the desk was great and gave us a map along with a good recommendation for a quick breakfast. Overall, i would come back and I would recommend this hotel.

We love this hotel and try to stay here every time we visit syracuse. Best location for us, near Syracuse Stage and many good restaurants. are in the area. The hotel itself has a retro feel which we like. Polite staff. Beds are very comfortable but the bathrooms are small and a tiny bit run down for those picky types, but we love it!

I read the other reviews and booked on what others had to say. I found the location, updates, and helpful staff all reasons to stay here. You can't beat it for the rate! Plus there is a free shuttle to area resturants, BONUS! Liked the adjoining cafe/wine bar, great for cocktail before going out on town and for quick bit in AM before going to our destination SU.

The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings. They are clean, bright and sunny with lots of windows. The bathroom is good size, very well maintained. Free parking made it very easy and access on and off the freeway is very convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is reasonably close to the medical center and main activities in town. It's a very lovely, classy older hotel. I recommend it highly.

I've stayed in a fair amount of hotels but I've never felt compelled to write a review before. But this hotel deserves the credit. We stayed here for one night on our way from NJ to Toronto. I booked this hotel based on the relatively low price and generally good reviews. We went in with low expectations and were stunned by the excellence of this establishment. The rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. I’ve never stayed in a cleaner hotel – the bathroom literally sparkled. The rooms are very large, and largely empty (in a good way). You’ll have plenty of room to breathe and walk around. The bathroom was great as well and the shower featured 2 heads. In addition the first floor has a wonderful living room style seating area, amazingly large bathrooms and free computer lab. The location is pretty good, albeit not in the heart of the city. There’s a semi-private parking lot behind the hotel and 2 cafes next door. You’re also just a few minutes from the highway and Dinosaur BBQ, the best rib joint I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Stay here now, you can thank me later.
