The Arden Hotel & Leisure Club - بيرمينغهام

Rooms and decor shabby- old in need of refurb. Bathroom tired and dated. Too pricey for condition of hotel. only plus was the swimming pool and snooker tables.

The hotel located at very convinence distance from the NEC. You can walk from the back for 10 mins and you are there. Easy bus / train into Birmingham. Plenty of car parking space and close from the motorway for getting away afterward. Restaurant's food and atmosphere was very nice, live piano performance with dinner (posh!!!). Highly recommended, very friendly service with good selection for breakfast.

The outside and reception area of the Arden is inviting, but don't be fooled thats when it ended for our family. At reception I felt that the recptionist was in a hurry. The hotel is run by young people which is not a problem, but please give them some customer service training Our room was disappointing with just enough room to swing a cat, only one double socket which served the TV leaving one spare for everything else. The bathroom looked clean if i took my glasses off, however with glasses on it was impossible to miss the hairs on the floor. The room was clean enough but I felt very uncomfortable. Getting into bed was like was like jumping into a bowl of jelly with very lumpy custard. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you aeroplanes taking off,doors slamming people talking. You get what you pay for with this hotel. The saving grace was the leisure club, frendly staff who made us feel welcomed. Unfortuately I would not stay here again especially since we were woken up in the morning by the guest in the room above using the toilet. Need I say more.

This is a nice hotel with a good swimming pool and leisure facilities. However I would only recommend it to those who intend to drive. Guests who arrive at Birmingham International Station are within walking distance of the hotel, but it is difficult to find the way. Those that choose to take a taxi are likely to be berated by taxi drivers who object to such a short ride.

Great hotel, great staff, room spotlessly clean more like a five star hotel, cannot fault it.

close to nec great hotel would stay here in the future

friendly staff, nice room actually able to get some fresh air great pillows, slightly lacking on toiletries and slightly thin towels , would definately stay there again room service menu could include a few salads

Very clean and comfortable good rates to, staff always helpful and friendly, the Arden should be a 4* hotel, Tony

We were attending Crufts for the first time and the hotel is in an ideal location for the NEC as it is just a 15 minutes walk. The room was a reasonable size, nice and clean and it had a really comfortable bed. I can't really comment on the other facilities as we arrived late evening and left early the next morning. Will definitely use again next year if possible.

Stayed 3 nights at the Arden for trade fair at the NEC. Convenient location as only 10 mins to walk to the main entrance. Room was basic but comfortable and pleasant enough. Small bathroom with only a shower and very poor water pressure. Shame breakfast isn't included but quite good value with a good selection for cooked options. Not so pleased about the hair in my food, but staff didn't seem at all bothered when I pointed it out to them. Other than this service was very good. The hotel was very busy but room service was quick and the restaurant is efficient and the table d'hote menu is excellent value. Didn't have the chance to use the leisure club but the pool looked very nice.

Perfectly Adequate Hotel close to NEC, National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham International Station and Birmingham Airport.

Room very hot, no air con, hotel not impresses I had not booked directly with them, and so would not include a discount on breakfast. My feelings on this is, why then are their rooms available on other sites?

My room backed onto the area where staff seemed to be taking their breaks, it was also the delivery area and I was woken at 6am by the reversing alarm of a lorry, this noise as well as the continuous noise from the motorways made for a very uncomfortable night, no air conditioning in a stiffling room with no fans available. Also braekfast was extra which I think is a rip off

Slitt hotell, med vegg til vegg teppe, med flekker. Badet noe nyere versjon, men rent. Ok hotell, da vi ikke tilbringer mye tid på rommet, men viktig at bdet er rent.

Det brukar frukosten ingår i rum kostnaden, men i det här hotelet var inte så. Kanske var det mässan tider som de skulle tjäna extra!! men hotellet var mycket bra och nära Mässan.
