Johanna Park Hotel - سورينتو

I traveled with two of my friends to Italy and we had the most amazing experience at the Johanna Park Hotel. Johanna herself is super sweet and amazingly helpful - she contacted friends of hers to help make different arrangements for us, such as trips to Capri and transport back to Naples airport for our departure - all at reasonable (and better than we found) costs. Her staff is fantastic also - they greeted us with a warm welcome and were extremely attentive. Most everyone spoke English very well, which was not expected but certainly helpful (we had our English to Italian dictionary with us 24/7!). The hotel is pretty far from downtown Sorrento (about a 10 minute drive up a windy, crazy road) but Johanna offers a shuttle that drops you off whenever you'd like downtown and you just call her when you want picked up and they send someone to get you. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant twice during our stay and it was really good - nothing absolutely out of this world spectacular but good, solid Italian food. Also, they went above and beyond, giving us desserts, fresh fruits, etc. when we hadn't ordered them - they were really incredible and amazing. I never leave reviews for hotels however felt that I had to encourage others to give Johanna Park a chance as it was an incredible experience as far as a hotel goes. We had a great view of the bay and a nice balcony off our room as well. The room was clean, we had a mini-fridge which was nice, and the bathroom was really pretty large, especially for Europe. I've never had a better experience at a hotel as far as the staff goes - it was really amazing how wonderful and warm everyone was - they weren't nosy or intrusive but if you wanted or needed something you always got a quick response. Johanna also provided us recommendations of certain things to see and do, of which we're happy we followed as some of them truly made our trip! It was really a fantastic experience and I can't rave about it enough - when we left (at 5A

Extremely friendly staff, nice room with splendid view but lacking a bit of light and not well isolated (could hear noise from neighbours and street, and banging doors). Food was very average but it was nice to eat in the hotel after a long day of sightseeing. Ther's no access to city centre at night by car, so it is preferable to take the hotel shuttle bus to go to Sorrento in the evening.

I can tell a lot about the clean room, great breakfast and all other boring stuff... However, I think that the best thing would be to tell you about the staff: We came to this hotel with a car from Florence. After 600 Km, in the mountains before Sorrento, the clutch died and we were stuck with the car at 3:00AM in the middle of the highway, 11 Km north of Sorrento. Me, my wife, a child, a baby and a grandmother... Europcar road service did not answer at this hour. We contacted the hotel and asked for help. They immediately called Europecar and invited them to pick up the car. Then, they came with their own pickup truck, at the middle of the night, and took all of us to the hotel (within 20 minutes from the time we called them). They did not ask for a single Euro for their service. Everything was done fast in a most pleasant way with a smile. I think that the staff is the most important property of this hotel. Strting from this reception men who came at night, continuing with the waiter at teh restaurant which served us very well and helped us with the mess that our 2 years old daughter made there and ending with the owner of this hotel, Johana, which has a great, wide heart open to help anyone who come there with always a smile. And all the rest (clean, landscape, breakfast, parking) was OK.

This hotel is awesome. The views are amazing and the hotel staff were great. We especially liked the restaurant. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and ate at the restaurant every night! The head waiter is AWESOME!! and the owner of the hotel is super nice. The only bad things were the ants and the lack of hot water. The the first night we had brought food in our room and as result of the open food we found lots of ants in our room.

Lovely hotel, nice restaurant, great views of Naples bay, Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. Negative: Location on the west side of Sorrento called for a long drive through traffic to see Amalfi Coast and Pompeii.

This hotel is exceptional value for money.Rooms were clean maid service every day,fridge in room also.The hotel provides a courtesty bus several times a day to and from Sorrento or you can get local transport from outside the hotel.We really enjoyed our stay and staff went out of their way to see to our needs.A great base if you want to see Sorrento and surrounding areas.

I loved it. After staying in a few old, run-down places in other Italian cities, arriving at the Johanna Park was a wonderful relief. The hotel is up the hills right outside the Sorrento city centre, but don't let that put you off, because they offersa free shuttle into town. It runs quite frequently, and they do say that if you miss it, you can give them a call and they'll be glad to go fetch you. Just a warning if you're driving: whoever surveyed the area for the maps used in my sat-nav wasn't the most competent person ever, and the hotel turned out to be about a mile further on than what my sat-nav indicated it would be. Just keep driving on Via Nastro Verde, you can't miss the entrance. The hotel itself is beautiful, with comfy, clean rooms and it's set in lovely surroundings. There aren't many "extra" facilities, but when I was there construction was underway for tennis courts, and I think a swimming pool is planned as well. The best thing about the hotel was the staff, though. They were extremely knowledgeable, and very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is nice, quiet, comfortable and the staff is very helpful. The only drawback is the distance to town is a bit far but they provide shuttles and the bus to Amalphi goes right past the hotel.

Ubicado en lo alto con excelente vista y fresco para dormir, la atencion del personal, incluyendo la propietaria, fue para recomendar, inclusive los consejos sobre como aprovechar el tiempo, que conocer y con quien, en cuanto a la limpieza, y las comidas muy bueno, tanto el desayuno como la cena, sobre un menu sencillo pero todo de primera. Como resumen un correcto balance entre precio y servicio, reforzado por la atencion cordial.

Pænt , rent hotel med et venligt personale som gerne vil hjælpe med udflugter, bus tider osv. God shuttle bus som køre flere gange i løbet af dagen. Vi mener ikke at det er et 4 stjernet hotel, der mangler bestemt et ordenligt svømme bassin , der forefindes et lille rundt bassin , som der er så lille at man ikke kan svømme i det. Det renholdes heller ikke så godt. Men alt i alt havde vi en dejlig ferie.

ett mycket bra hotell . Hög standard på rummen och otroligt trevlig personal. superservice minst sagt så väl i receptionen som i restaurangen. De hade en skyttelbuss som körde ner en till stan pp kvällarna och hämtade upp en vid midnatt. Giovanna som ägde hotellet var en krutgumma och väldigt trevlig. Hon ordnade rumsbyte då vi inte var nöjda med det första rummet utan att vi ens behövde flytta väskorna. Restaurangen var av god klass och vi åt även middag där två gånger.

Hvis du har lejet bil er det et rigtig godt hotel at bo på. Der er fine parkeringsforhold. Desuden rolige omgivelser og masser af fuglekvidder og kun nogle få km fra Sorrento centrum. Der er dog lidt lydt på hotellet, da der ikke er tæpper på gangarealerne. Imødekommende og venligt hotelpersonale.

Personnel très sympatique,chambre comfortable . Piscine petite mais charmante et très appréciable après une journée de visites . Nos enfants ont adoré . Seul petit bémol:la navette gratuite pour Sorrento est très pratique mais trop petite par rapport à la capacité de l'hotel
