Alcazar de la Reina - كارمونا

A beautiful small hotel, although certain areas lack warmth. The room (by the pool) was cold. That said, it was January, and this might be welcome in other seasons. Helpful staff, fairly convenient location and good for parking.

We stayed here on a Saturday night, and have nothing but positive to say. Construction out front of the hotel took a little away from it's beauty, but inside was great. Marble floors and bathroom make for slightly chilly feet, but it is fancy. (One question: What is up with so many hotels in Spain having two twin beds pushed together instead of one regular bed? This hotel was no exception). We stayed out late on Saturday night and were very pleased to learn that the hotel was happy to give us a late check out (2 pm) for no extra charge. Would certainly stay here again!

We had a very comfortable stay and would happily return. Excellent breakfast buffett. Shame only that there were so many pigeons around the swimming pool ...staff were trying to do their best to keep the courtyard as clean as possible!

The location is great as it is in the middle of the old city. But the hotel was understaffed and the employees were tired and surly. The airconditioning in my room rattled and the TV did not work.

Very comfortable, roomy accommodations. Free parking available nearby. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Great pick for a couple or family.

Lovely hotel in a small and quiet medieval town just outside Sevilla. Friendly staff and good breakfast, tapas bar and more formal restaurant. Recommended and we would stay there again if we would revisit this fascinating part of Spain.

By luck, this was a great location for venturing out by car to the surrounding area such as Seville, and Cordoba. The town has fantastic ambiance without the crowds of Seville

Carmona and the hotel are easily reached off the main highway between Seville and Cordoba, and only a short drive (under an hour) into Seville. Hotel sits facing a very nice view from a height, and has a pool and nice sheltered sitting areas for a warm weather stay. It is attractively decorated (a restored old manor) and has retained a good bit of character. Attached is a very nice Irish Pub with a good menu (I ate out at a local Spanish eatery). The dining room at Carmona's Parador is in walking distance for those wanting a more imposing dining experience. Carmona is an interesting city that can be easily toured on foot out of the hotel. Old residences are obviously being purchased and restored enhancing the city. It struck me as being a town with nice hotels that would be a nice overnight or weekend outing for people living in Seville, etc.

We loved this hotel in Carmona, a quiet town that's accessible to Sevilla (20-25 minutes/miles) but much more calm and quaint. It really was a converted palace with a lot of elegance and style, but much much cheaper than the nearby Parador. The staff were great - gave good recommendations and helped with reservations in town. Overall the hotel was quiet, except for one night of odd noises. The breakfast was huge and great and the other hotel meals were decent bargains.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day stay at this elegant hotel with friendly helpful staff. Excellent room and bathroom kept spotlessly clean, and good air con. Very good breakfast and the restaurant served good food and wine. Swimming pool needs to be kept clear of pidgeon feathers. The attached “Irish Pub” did not disturb us but, although popular with the locals in the evening, was somewhat bizarre for a 4 star hotel which could do with an attractive bar/coffee shop for the use of its clientele. Very good location within the walled city, close to the beautiful main church and a few minutes walk from the main square with bars serving the usual Tapas.

Muy agradable, buenas vistas, bien situado y agradable trato. No utilizamos los servicios del hotel ni desayuno-comida-cena, por lo que desconocemos su calidad en este sentido. Sólo destacar el sonido de las campanas cercanas que se repite durante todo el día noche cada cierto tiempo, pero no es tan seguido o duradero como para causar molestia.

Das Hotel bietet ein gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verh ältnis.

個人的には清潔さ・サービス等大満足のホテルです。 眺めも良いです。 ただしバスルームへの扉のたてつけが少々悪かったり、坂の上にあるというアクセス利便性の点においては気になる人は気になるかもしれません。

Très bel hôtel, accueil très chaleureux, situation parfaite, Mais à déplorer une salle de petit déjeuner cafard au possible et sans aucun produit attrayant, alors qu'il y a un patio ravissant et inutilisé, et impossible d'avoir un café ou un jus de fruit en fin de matinée au bord de la piscine : donc allez absolument prendre votre petit déjeuner en ville !!!

Prima hotel in een historisch pand, enkele jaren geleden gerenoveerd, ziet er nog zeer acceptabel uit. Het zwembad had wat overlast van duiven, jammer dat daar geen actie op is ondernomen, voor ons de reden om er niet in te zwemmen, wel een gezellig terras met prima stoelen en parasols. Carmona is een erg leuk dorp om te bezoeken tijdens een vakantie, leuke pleintjes, goede horeca, verder weinig vertier.

Prima hotel. Carmona is een leuke plaats waar ook veel interessante bezienswaardigheden te zien zijn icm afstand naar Sevilla is dit een goede locatie voor verblijf bij Sevilla.
