Millennium Tower & Walk Apartments - دﺑلن

We had no problems checking in. There was hot water the whole time we stayed. the one maintainence issue we had was fixed first thing the next a.m. The hotel is 75 yards from the LUAS Redline and 75 yards to the Liffey.

Apartment entrance is hard to find, even people working around the area did not know where the entrance was. The apartment was very clean and tidy, however the windows looked liked they had never been cleaned. Entrance to the apartment was not very appealing, and needed a bit of a makeover. Also the courtyard needed some attention. Although apartment was described as self-catering, there were no pots and pans to cook with, plumbing was also very noisy and woke us up in the middle of the night. Overall the apartment was good but it needs a few adjustments to improve it.

The location is fantastic - right next to the Liffey and and about as central as can be, perfect for temple bar or the rest of Dublin. We stayed in apt 19 and while it was definitely well used, everything we needed was there - even washing up liquid and condiments :) There were only two negative points, the first being hot water. There was only enough hot water for two showers and the booster button on the water heater was broken. It didn't bother us enough to complain, we just got more efficient at showering! The other problem was the sofa beds. Ours was used by an unusually tranquil teenager who didn't want to complain, but they were extremely uncomfortable to sleep on - both were totally worn out and slightly broken. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and I think for the price It was extremely good value. I would definitely recommend these apartments.

When I first checked into my apartment, I was a little disappointed. It wasn't as nice as the photos. However, this place grew on me. The location was great, right across the street from the Jervis shops and within a quick walk of Temple Bar, Trinity College, shopping on Mary Street, etc. Due to the way we booked, we had to move apartments midweek and the housekeeping service was super quick to change the beds to twins once requested. I would definitely stay here again, the convenience of having a kitchen was excellent.

good location, not so clean, very comfort ap, good for the price.

The location of the apts is very good and they are spacious. However, our apt wasn't very clean and the advertised "fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher" lacked the dishwasher and only had a few plates, cups and pots left. Getting into the apt was an annoyance: Even though I had asked for instructions to enter the apt via e-mail beforehand, I didn't get any response. So, we had to call - once we were there - to get an access code to the building where our key was locked into a little box. Then we've been told that we were staying in a different building and got another entrance code for that one. As that code didn't work we were standing in the pouring rain and had to call again to be told to use one of the keys to open the door. Moreover, to get access to the Internet you have to call every day to get a new 24-hour voucher code - very annoying. But, a ray of light was that we've been upgraded from a 3-person- to a 5-person-apt. If you have a car - the jervis street car park is nearby and reasonably priced. So, to sum it up, the guys at staycity should improve their customer service. But the location is very good and the price is okay for what you get considering Dublin's price structure.

The fridge was leaking CFC's.

As i had read previous reviews about having difficulty getting the pin codes for the keys i made sure we had all relevant codes before we set off. On arrival to the apartment we got our keys only to find that the key didn't fit into the apartment door. We rang the customer service who was helpful but it took many attempts to the find a key code to let us in (and at 12:30 in the morning this is the last thing you want). Once in the apartment, it as been newly refurbished but the paintwork was shoddy. In one bedroom the fitted sheets were ripped and in the other bedroom the duvet cover was torn right down the seam. The bedroom floor had not been vacuumed and this was evident as there were receipts on the floor from the previous guest. The dining table also had crumbs on it. On a positive note its in a great location!

2 Week Stay, with check-in problems for me, and for 5 other groups throughout the time I spent there. The management did not send me the code for key access; when I called them, they said they didn't have my email; however, they had responded to 2 emails previously. I'm familiar with Dublin (10 years of travel) and couldn't locate the building. Map is on the wall in the main building, would have been handy to have a copy of it in the mailbox with the key-along with internet instructions/passwords, and trash removal instructions. I was promised an extra key (with 2 days advanced notice), none delivered ~ totally blown off by Head of Housekeeping. I watched other guests struggling with the same procedures. The only person making out on top was the taxi driver making calls and extending the meter to aid stranded guests. This apartment doesn't measure up to other corp. apartments in Dublin for the price. However, the quality of the bed was good. Moreover, it is not fully serviced as the ad states... they provide clean sheets and towels, no true cleaning service, meaning no bathrooms cleaned or floors mopped. Checkin was also late, due to having only 1 cleaning person on site on Sunday. Poor girl, she tried her best to finish by 2:30. There was no issue with hot water, as in other reviews - if you wait for the boost of an hour. Overall, poorly organized and run. Good Luck; that is if you can actually check-in - Have a working mobile phone, the local cafes are pretty tired of calling in for guests. Having been through the process and knowing fully what I was getting into, I would stay there again. But who would want to go through this frustration the first time on holiday?

they dont have any manned reception but are helpful over the phone- when I reached i was given 5'th floor 1 bed apartment but had no lifts--so at my request they upgraded me to their penthouse which was very good. penthouse look stunning but found milk in the kitchen to be having fungus and i wanted milk badly for tea/cofee for me and my wife and it was late at night. excellent area to discover dublin--great location

outside windows very filthy, no soap, the shower almost not working. Great location, confortable apart

i was nervous about staying here as i had read some really bad reviews but we thought the accommodation was perfect. it was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. i go to Dublin alot an I will stay here again

first off all there is no reception for you to get the keys for the apartments or any instructions on how to get them!!after an hour and half of wandering around we decided to call the hotel which we then could not get in contact with. we then had to contact hotels .com to contact them!!! after a long wait we finally got our keys or should i say "key" between 4 ppl !!we then finally got to the apartment which was FILTHY i am in no way fussy but the outside of the apartment was cleaner than the inside!!!!we then had to ring the apartment company AGAIN who took THREE HOURS to come and finally clean our room!!! however the next day we had to check out at 11am and somehow the cleaners where then very punctual !!the service we received at these apartments was apauling. i would not recommend them to my worst enemy!!

Relatively cheap for 4-5 people, great location (right across the bridge is where you wanna be), but the beds were uncomfortable and the hot water heater was worthless if more than one person wanted to take a shower. As one of the guys described, "It was like there was a mad scientist pouring ice water down upon me, while cackling maniacally." Anyway, if you want a cheap place in a good location to come back to and crash after getting drunk, this place isnt bad, but dont expect much beyond that...

Spot on, great space, modern! All in all Excellent value for money. Only gripe was the dvd player cable was missing which meant no music :-( people above and below were probably happier though haha

These appartments are exactly"what it says on the tin" budget accomodation brilliantly located in Dublin city. Clean basic accomodation, close to shops, luas, convienence store, restaurants and bars. Appartments were being decorated during our stay so workmen, tools and some noise, but did not effect our stay. Will definitely be back!

When arriving there is no reception to speak of, so had to use my phone to make an international call when i finally found a number on the side of the building. once put through to someone they rushed me a code to get in a door then another code to open a box with the key inside. Even then i had to call again for the code to the actual building we were in as they failed to mention the 3rd code in the first call. Once inside found not a double bed as requested, but 2 single mattresses pushed together that were different heights! this is also a very noisy hotel and we had an hour of people upstairs shouting for their friend and banging the door down at 0330 and again at 0800. a very uncomfortable stay all together

I would like to thank all the staff who were cooperative with me and my family during the period of my stay in (Stay Dublin Apartments 25, Upper Abbey Street) specially the house keepers and the securities staffs for their kind hospitality, and I will be staying again in the same when ever I'm traveling to Dublin. Recommendations: 1-"The bed was uncomfortable in both rooms and I had bad back pain ", but its OK. 2- Noise of the peoples in the street at a late time in the night from 12am to 4am every night. Thanks again for all of you.

FIRSTLY NO E-MAIL WAS SENT TO GIVE CODES TO THE OPEN BOX TO GET KEYS,HAD TO PHONE NUMBER GOT A VERY HELPFUL GIRL WHO I WAS IN CONTACT AGAIN AS WHEN WE ARRIVED THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED SO MOVED TO ANOTHER BUT NO SINGLE BEDS.THE APARTMENT NEEDED A TOTAL MAKEOVER,CURTAINS FALLING DOWN,DVD DIDN'T WORK BROKEN SOFA WHICH WAS A VERY UNCOMFORTABLE SOFA BED AND GENERALLY GRUBY WITH NO SOAPS ETC.. SO BRING YOUR OWN.tHE ONLY THING WAS IT WAS CENTRAL TO ALL THE SHOPS AND SITESEEING BUT DONT BE EXPECTING A NICE APARTMENT.A PHONE SHOULD BE PROVIDED IN THE MAIN ENTRY AREA AS IT COST A FORTUNE TO PHONE THE NUMBER AS NO MEMBER OF STAFF WAS TO BE SEEN.

All of the reviews that I read about this place were spot on. It's a pain to find. Directions, lockbox procedures, keys, codes....all a big pain that, with a little more planning, dilligence and care, code be strealined and smoothed. The lock box is in an alley way which cars can not get to, so you must walk. Once there, you must enter a code to get into the front door and then enter a code to obtain the key from your lock box. You get these codes by calling Dublin Stay 48 hours prior to your arrival. It was going to be impossible for me to call at that time as I was going to be traveling without a phone. I called 3 days prior and they kindly gave me the codes. Once I got the key from the lock box there were no directions on how to get to the actual apartment we were staying at (most of them are not located at that address but down the street some). There was a note stating that a set of apartments were located by an ice cream shop...mine included. Not having been to Dublin I had to ask people where the shop was as again, no directions were provided. Found the ice cream shop...tried the key in every door I found...none worked. I asked a shopkeep for help and he actually made the call to Dublin Stay as he said others have come by looking for their apartments as well. They told him it was back by where I came from, even though the note specifically gave the name of the ice cream shop which was over the river. I go back to the other side of the river...trying my key in every door the whole way. Nothing worked. I asked another shopkeep for the use of their phone. Luckily I was in Dublin because I don't know another town where people regularly hand over their phone like this! The lady on the phone said that there should have been a code along with my key and I should be able to see the number to my apartment listed on the window of the main door. I had walked this street about 10 times now...the number to the apartment was not on any of the wondows. I begun to try

Apartment was nice enough, location fantastic for the two main shopping areas - opposite Jarvis (including a Tesco which saved us loads on eating out) and across the Millennium bridge from Temple Bar. Be warned though that if you're staying in on the Friday / Saturday night, the double glazing does not protect against the local nightlife! Website claims 23hr reception at the Millennium Tower - however, this consisted of a scrappy poster on window with local phone number for customer services who provided a entry code and a further code for a key safe once inside. The apartment is NOT manned at all. No complimentary toiletries as promised on this website, there was also no can opener, so take your own!! Shower was broken on the day we arrived - we reported it on the first morning to the 'reception' phone number, and by the time we left two days later there was still no sign of repair. As a result we needed to take baths - but water system only produces enough hot water for half a bath, and even then the water comes on at rediculous times of the day, and the boiler is hopeless at insultating - water was cold again within an hour. Water pump very very loud whenever water is run or toilet is flushed. The apartment can get quite cold, but there are heaters in each room - leave them on all day!! Good apartment if you're using it as a base for seeing the sites and eating out - don't use it if you're after a relaxing weekend!

If you have any issues you have to use your own cell phone or go to a pay phone a block or two away (no phone in room or building)and nobody answered when i called or it was busy, and if you can't make contact w/the fornt desk (which is not onsite) you must waste at least 20 minutes both ways walking/driving to the St. Augustine apartments which is where the "FRONT DESK" is. There's appeared to be no reason for the staff to go out of their way to be helpful in any way. I would'nt reccomend staying here, nor would i stay here again

A very inconvenient and difficult place to stay. As a self check-in, there is no person in reception to provide assistance. We had great difficulty locating our apartment as it was in an unmarked building across the street. After our arrival, it took us an hour just to figure out how to find and enter our unit. These apartments are located just above restaurants and are on a busy street, which means it was VERY noisy all night long.

Good location, clean apartments however the apartments are a bit run down round the edges. There is no reception and consequently you have to use a very confusing password system. The company that run the apartment offer no baggage holding on check-out, if you have a late flight. Over all I would go back but make sure you get a good rate, it’s not worth paying over.

We stayed at the apartment at Great Abbey St. Which is a great location, 2 minute walk to Temple Bar. Apartment was pretty clean. But stairs smell of urine, TAKE THE LIFT! We also had a problem getting into the apartment because Reception (who are only available on phone) did not know what the access codes were to entry the apartment building!

aucun accueil nous n'avons vu personne pendant le sejour ; les clefs étaient disponible dans une boite aux lettres de l'immeuble ou nous nous pensions avoir réservé. Mais notre appartement etait situé dans un autre immeuble voisin ; appartement petit ; pas d'aeration possible ; pas de menage...

I forhold til prisen var dette fint og sentralt. En del støy utenifra. Men alt i alt en fornøyd venninne gjeng på tur.

Nur 5min. zufuss von Temple Bar entfernt, sauber und grosses Appartement. Leider keine Reception und man muss die Telefonnummer wählen, welche am Eingang steht. Man erhält dann einen Code für den Eingang und den Schlüsselfach. Wenn man dies weiss, ist es kein Problem. Wir wussten es aber nicht........

Appartement tres bien situe toutefois pour la millenium tower il n y a pas de réception, par ailleurs l'entrée n'est pas du tout facile a trouver. Suite à une chambre en mauvaise état j'ai pu bénéficier d'un autre appartement, la réactivité de l 'hôtel a été bonne. Appartement très bien équipe, j'y retournerai maintenant que je sais comment y aller. Attention se munir du numéro de l'hôtel cela est indispensable si vous n'avez pas reçu les codes d'entrée pour récupérer les clefs

Hôtel bien situé et propre. L'appartement est très bien équipé et confortable.

Ethvert hotell bør ha en resepsjon betjent av en eller flere personer som er fysisk tilstede i bygget. Dette er ikke tilfelle for dette apartementsbygget og jeg mener at etablissementet derfor ikke kvalifiserer for å stå oppført på nettsiden til hotels.com. Når det i tillegg var lagt opp til en svært komplisert prosedyre for å komme inn i leiligheten, først via en inngangskode til et annet bygg med en ny inngangskode til en boks for å hente tre nødvendige nøkler til det bygget man har leilighet i, blir det i overkant mye self-handling for min del. Dette ble dårlig kommunisert av utleier i forkant og telefontjenesten på stedet i forbindelse med dette var for dårlig. Er for utålmodig til å bruke tid på en masse trivialiteter når jeg bare har noen dager til disposisjon. Ellers var oppholdet ok, og byen Dublin bør oppleves av barn i alle aldre!

Fikk bestilt opphold på nett, her ble det ikke opplyst om at man må få koder når man ankommer Dublin. Adressen som stod på bestillingskvitteringen var vanskelig å finne og i tillegg ikke stedet hvor vi skulle overnatte. I tillegg var det vanskelig å forstå det Irske språket over telefon når veien til leiligheten skulle forklares. Dårlig rengjort, men god plass og rimelig hvis man er flere. Vi ble kun en natt..

vraiment super bien placé en plain centre de dublin et tres confortable ,mais pas de reception a l arrivé alors prevoire quelque jour avant de partir d appeler le service client d hotel .com ou l hotel directement( si vous parlez bien anglais.) pour obtenir les codes d acces de votre appartement ,le premier code a 4 chiffres pour ouvrir la porte du hall de l hotel puis un code a 6 chiffres a faire sur un boitier qui va liberer la clef de votre appartement ,bon sejour

Comme l'appartement est payé d'avance il serait bon de recevoir le numero d'appartement et son plan, les codes de la porte et le code pour récupérer la clé avant d'arriver. Sans cela il faut parler parfaitement anglais car au standard on ne parle pas francais ! le 25 upper abbay street n'existe pas, en fait il faut se rendre dans une rue pietonne perpendiculaire. J'espère que cela pourra aider les prochains locataires francais. sinon appparttements très bien et très bien situés.

L'hôtel était bien situé: nombreux commerces, supermarchés, sites touristiques proches. L'équipement : ampoules manquantes ou absentes- couverts (2 fourchettes et 2 cuillères à soupe pour 3) et essuies vaisselle insuffisants( on ne lessive pas pour un essuie!) explications pour l'évacuation des poubelles non précisées- mauvaise isolation sonore-stores déglingués) Appartement spacieux et lumineux bien équipé au niveau électro-ménager: micro-ondes, grille-pain, lessiveuse, figidaire- un percolateur ou un filtre à café aurait été un plus.

Le message avec les codes d'accès a été envoyé trop tard;nous étions en irlande depuis le 27 pour visiter Galway et le Connemara: donc cela nous a posé problème pour accéder à l'appartement (ouverture de la porte, difficulté à se faire comprendre au téléphone) puis ascenceur en panne.Dans l'appart la vaisselle était réduite au strict minimum ex 3 couteaux.D'autre part le lit canapé était trop court pour notre fille de seize ans. Il aurait fallu préciser lors de la réservation que ce couchage ne convenait plus à partir d'un certain âge et dans ce cas nous aurions pris deux chambres .Enfin il manque vraiment une personne sur place pour ces codes et pour renseigner les clients.

Rommene var skitne, bygningene svært slitne, men servicen god. Hadde på forhånd funnet koder til rom og nøkkel, noe man ikke nødvendigves får beskjed om at man trenger. Fine rom, god plass, og ganske sentralt. Praktisk om man reiser flere sammen. Jeg er ofte i Dublin, og kommer muligens til å bruke stedet igjen.

nous avons eu un problème de réservation car nous n'avons pas reçus les codes d'accès (entrée des appartements avec codes, sans accueil physique ! il est nécessaire de parler anglais car pas beaucoup d'effort pour nous comprendre... même si solutions de secours de bonne qualité

Eramos un grupo de 15 personas, que contratamos 4 apartamentos del 7 al 10 de agosto de 2010 en Dublín, y quedamos sorprendidos nada más llegar. Estos apartamentos no tienen recepción, no hay ninguna persona con la que hablar, está todo informatizado, y es necesario disponer de una clave de acceso para la puerta donde se recogen las llaves y otra para poder abrir los buzones donde están las llaves. En teoría esta clave la remiten por correo electrónico, pero nosotros y contratamos 4 apartamentos, no recibimos en ninguno de nuestros correos electrónicos que dimos en la contratación las claves de acceso. Con lo que nos tuvimos que buscar la vida para conseguirlas a través de un empleado que pasó casualmente por la puesta y nos gestionó su consecución. Previamente, intentamos contactar telefónicamente a través del teléfono que se publicita en la puerta pero nos respondía un contestador. Los apartamentos están faltos de menaje (vasos, platos, etc.) y muy “trillados”, bombillas que no funcionaban, etc. La gran ventaja es que están muy céntricos.

beliggenhet var perfekt, men utsikten var rett inn i nabobygget , men man kunne også se ned på gå gaten. Det var dårlig med sitteplasser i stuen. Vi var fem stk. stuen hadde bare to stk to seters sovesofaer. Renhold kunne vært oftere enn hvær 7 dag.

emplacement excellent. confort equipement et proprete excellents. isolation phonique contre les bruits exterieurs mauvaise.
