Staycity Serviced Apartments Christchurch - دﺑلن

We had a great experience at this hotel. Our washer/dryer wasn't working but the staff tried very hard to get it fixed, I am just not sure that it was a fixable problem. The rooms were very spacious for the four of us staying and we enjoyed the convenience of having the kitchenette and sitting area. I would definitely stay there again.

No electricity or water in our room when we arrived. Fixed later in the day. Very noisey location. Street noise, including sirens from nearby hospital. Apartment had washer/dryer unit, It washed our clothes 3 times before we could get it stopped. Dryer wouldn't work at all and staff didn't know how to operate it. Rack was brought in to dry them on, but next morning, were still wet. Finally found a dryer in a different unit, but it delayed getting on with our day by several hours. Staff did try to be helpful, but clearly were not equipped with the knowledge they need to deal with problems.

would defo stay here again if you are looking for somewhere to stay near Temple Bar, went to Jury's for breakfast - ideal.

Great location and apartment, just what we needed for a short, 2 night stay. Spar just a few mins walk where we could buy food and other stuff we needed. Only a couple of mins walk from The Brazen Head (lovely old style Dublin pub), and we also got the red line LUAS from Four Courts (ten mins walk) to Heuston for Phoenix Park, and The Point for the O2. Would stay again.

Surrounding neighborhood is not safe! Parking is 2 blocks away and we did not feel safe walking in that neighborhood with our children ! Extremely hard to find! Front desk guy was really nice and friendly! Room was a decent size bathroom was dirty and with rust and mold. Furniture was in bad condition. We checked in went up to the room and then checked out of the hotel! Total disappointment !!!

Cant fault the apartments. warm clean and modern. everything worked, was a pleasure to return to after sight seeing, shopping etc

Having been a resident of Dublin, I knew of this area. Firstly, if you are kept awake at night by traffic - steer clear. There is a very busy road right outside (the High Street) and traffic is constant, and lots of sirens etc. Didn't bother me but I used to live on the A5. The apartment itself is OK, bed's firm, heating is storage heaters and you need them all, plus the fires to keep it warm. Bathroom has shower over bath - shower has a pump and is frankly hopeless. Took twice as long as normal and then not much good. Cleanliness was ok unless you looked, like on top of the wardrobe. Front desk is manned 24/7 and needs to be - this isn't a brilliant area. But no problems and very friendly. Location is on the western edge of the central City and very close to Christchurch Cathedral, St Pats, Dublinia, the Castle etc. Very convenient for a few nights in Temple Bar etc. I'd stay there again, but I'm not a tourist so don't need these things. Loads of restaurants nearby, Tesco Express about 150m away - don't use the Centras or Spars - very expensive.

This place was exactly as described on the site (no creative writing or photos) and was a great place to stay. It is a 5 - 15 minute walk to just about anything you want to see in Dublin, and a 5 minute easy walk to/from the Airport 747 bus. The apartment was spacious by European standards, well furnished and clean. I would stay at this location every time in Dublin, and will look for their brand in other cities as a result of this stay. Only complaint is that the TV remote didn't work, and after several trips to the front desk to get the batteries replaced, we gave up and never did get it serviced.

Staycity was a very comfortable place to stay.we booked a one bedroom but on arrival were upgraded to a double which was fantastic and made the stay even more enjoyable as there were three of us .staff were very pleasant and over all a great place to stay

I found this accommodation a couple years ago and always stay here now. The location is great and I like the ease of having my own kitchen to cook in. Just need to stop at the grocery and I'm set for days.

It was a lovely one bedroom apartment with separate bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom (#19). I had a small balcony and a lovely view. It faced the street so the traffic may bother some, but it didn't bother me. The staff was uber helpful with all of my needs. There's a few shops for food and small restaurants nearby. It's very close to a stop for the 747 bus which takes you to and from the airport. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Dublin.

Perfect for a girl's weekend away. Apartment lovely, location ideal.

Apartment was in a great place, close to shops and not to far from the city. Safe was friendly and helpful, would use a again! Made a excellent holiday. Was even updated free of charge on our arrival.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location was perfect - so convenient to everything Apartment was spacious and overall clean but carpets were stained the door to the balcony in need of repair and the beds could do with an upgrade to a more comfortable standard. A little bit of TLC would make this accommodation perfect!

We only stayed the one night, there were 5 of us sharing one apartment it it was more than adequate for our needs. We had a pleasant stay, the apartment was clean and staff were OK. Only downside was, the shower was not very good.

Very nice place to stay convenient location friendly staff will defanetley stay there again

the apartments in general were ok. i did have a few faults. here goes. there was nowhere to park to go to reception. had to park with hazzard lights on in bus land outside. the pictures online of the apartment building were not accurate so difficult to locate. the carpark for christchurch apartments was in another one of their apartment blocks but was a very small walk away so wasnt too bad. it wasnt free either. 14 euros for the pleasure. the wifi was awful. no signal at all. the lock on the door of our apartment was difinately not the best. one swift nudge with your hip would have had it of the wall. a dining room chair was shoved under the handle as a precaution. the duvet cover had a hole in it. was "cleverly disguised" with a throw on the bottom of the bed. even after my list, it wasnt the worst place in the world to stay. it was extremly well located to vicar street which is where i needed to be. the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location of the Christchurch apartments is pretty ideal. Reception staff were friendly. We had a room at the front & had a lovely view of the church & the cathedral. Used the underground carpark at the nearby St Augustine Stay City apartments and this cost e14 (emails to StayCity about the car parking were great - very polite and punctual). 2 bedroom apartment was clean and large enough. Very well equipped kitchen. Living room has a good sized dining table. Only disappointing aspect was the shower, which is ancient. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms allowed us to move about freely. Front desk personnel very nice..good location. The biggest problem was lack of communication by hotel management on how to find the secret switches to make the kitchen appliances work; combination washer/dryer did not have proper instruction booklet and staff was clueless; TV had only one channel and directions for using their free wi-fi were not clear...cleaning staff (contracted out) did not consistently show up..but price was a fairly good bargain.

Overall,very dissappointed. We booked this hotel thru this website as it was supposed to be close to the zoo. Not only was it nowhere near the zoo, there was no carpark, we had to double park on the side of the street to get our luggage out,while trying to keep an eye on 3 very young children(no member of staff offered a hand). They offered us the use of another carpark which was a 3 minute drive or a 10 minute walk away, which we had to pay for then and there!! The rooms were not air conditioned and quite unclean, especially the bathroom. We would not reccommend this site or Appartment to anyone.

We got a very good rate on this website and then were upgraded to larger apt on arrival. Overall positive experience. Note 10euro per hr for late check out, after 11am, overnight parking 14euro. All good!

unfortunately not what we had expected and found it was not suitable for young children..

The room was okay, a bit smelly when we just went in, like it had not been aired for a while. Location is good, close to Guinness Storehouse and city centre.

Enjoyed our 6 night stay in Dublin everyone was very friendly and the city is a great place to visit. The apartment was comfortable the only slight problem was the washing machine did not work.

My daughters and I had a great stay. Only drawback was need for someone to let us in the front door. We understood the need for security but we arrived during a heavy rain and had to wait outside for someone to return to the front desk to let us in to the foyer. Otherwise, very convenient location and great rooms.

I was quite disappointed at these apartments for a number of reasons: Dead bolts loose (one fell off) at both apartments. No remote for the television. Low quality beds and pillows. Uncomfortable pull out couch. Very noisy outside (pub patio at the back, busy road in front). Very few plates and cups for a self-catering facility.

We selected this hotel for the location and space/amenities it offered for our family. While the location was convenient, the parking was offsite. However, the biggest issue was the cleanliness of the room - so much so that we actually forfeited one of our paid nights and checked out early. Huge disappointment as it directly impacted our plans for Dublin sightseeing.

I found Christchurch Hall apartments to be very satisfactory. It's location was a mere 10-15min walk from the city centre (Grafton St) and only a short walk from Temple Bar. The staff were quite helpful. The only problem we encountered was in finding their sister apartment's car park which the on-duty receptionist gave us great assistance in locating. The room was clean and had every facility one could require (kitchen, washing machine, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, electric hobs etc) and was comfortable for to relax in also with a no. of TV channels available for amusement. Nearby was Christchurch Cathedral. The area was clean and seemed safe also and a great spot for tourists wanting to see the sights Dublin has to offer within the city.

for the price this property was good, great location very central however the service was very basic for an extended stay it would be ideal but for one or two nights it is nice to have a few luxuries which were not offered at this property. For the price I would probably stay here again.

This is the 2nd time i stayed here. I was upgraded to a 2bedroom each time. The location is great, but if you're after a good quality place then this won't be for you. All the apartments are not consistent so it's the luck of the drawer which one you get. This particular room had a bad damp problem with stains on the roof and around the window. The general cleanliness of the rooms were very poor, including dishes not being cleaned properly or the floors being swept. I'm not sure whether the cleaning staff don't have enough time or whether they just haven't been given sufficient training. I won't be giving this place a third go.

Great location for a great price, although the maintenance was a little lax. We found a man's passport behind a nightstand, and it had expired months ago. Makes me wonder how long it had been there, unnoticed by housekeeping. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

great apartment close to center. walk to the temple bar area in 5 minutes. nice big apartment with 24 hour open reception.

I would recommend these apartments because they were clean and in a great location for a good price.

it's a perfect location. the staff is helpful. the apt was wonderful. we wished we could've stayed longer!

The service was horrible, we had no instructions to pick up the key and had to walk down the street to use a payphone when we arrived. The apartment was in run down. We also had do way in the apartment to call the property manager and had no instructions on check out time, therefore we ended up checking out late and they charged us 10 Euros per hour of late check out. Very un-impressed and would not reccommend to anyone.

With nobody working the front desk you won't find any assistance unless you go to a different hotel five minutes down the street. The parking lot that's a big hassle to find and park at and fight traffic trying to get back to the apartments. The cops told me to avoid the road behind the apartment because it's very dangerous. The remote to the tv was broken as was the door to the balcony and the shower. The bed was very nothing but springs with no padding even though it was listed as "pillow-top". The water and kitchen smelled like sewer. I enjoyed my time in Dublin but it had nothing to do with this room. I would avoid at all costs if give the choice in the future.

We have had wonderful experiences staying in apartments before, but this wasn't too enjoyable. When we arrived, there was a sign on the door to call the office. They then told us they would put us in another unit that looked nothing like the one advertised. It was practically in the basement, with the water heater for the entire apartment block in our unit. Needless to say it was very noisy. The place got almost no daylight light, and because it was on the ground floor, not safe to leave the windows open at night. The television was precariously mounted on the wall, the furniture worn and not comfortable.

This apartment is within walking distance of most everything we wanted to see but we didn't have enough time to go everywhere. Very spacious and clean, neighborhood is safe, prices are awesome!

There is no one on staff in the hotel, so you won't be able to get in if they don't email you the building code and room code ahead of time - which they didn't for us and we had to borrow a stranger's mobile to call. Then we got sent to a room that reeked of smoke and had to get switched. The washer/dryer in the room was very convenient though.
