It was a very nice, clean hotel. Staff was friendly. We really didn't use many amenities (pool, bar, etc) We were on the Cape for a wedding and really only needed a place to sleep. I'd stay there again in a similar situation.

Everything fine except for the mattress which was very firm.

We've stayed along Route 28 off season many times over the years, but this was our first at Cape Point. We had two rooms including one for our teen age grandkids, and they loved the pool. Though we only visited the Sports Lounge one time, it was a nice feature compared to all the others we've experienced. The water temp was 85, and they also have a hot tub and a small kiddie pool. They do have an outside pool as well, and happened to be taking advantage of the uneasonably warm weather to begin sprucing up the pool area.

The price was right for this hotel. It is conveniently located amongst shopping, restaurants and mini golf. It is a high traffic area but you can see a lot on foot. There are beaches within a couple of miles. Nature viewing about 1/4 mile away. Restaurants in easy walking distance. The only downfall was the hot tub and pool looked like they could use a serious cleaning. The other problem was that the sliders on many of the rooms didn't work. I know it took all I could do to open the door. The screen fell off immediately and when I called maintenance he said that he was very busy and to tell the guy on days. When we left the hotel room I could see about half a dozen screen doors propped up against the building.

I had to stay over down the Cape for work. because I was so satisfied the 1st week, I stayed here again. An extra plus is the cafe...

Being Cape Cod natives, we were back home for a family funeral and I cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for all the love, support and customer service they showed us in the 3 nights that we stayed there. EVERYTHING was wonderful and I will plan on staying there every time I have to go home---thanks to all of you---keep on shinin' and hope you all get a raise!

Good value for the money, clean room, pool had some hair in it but it was busy due to school vacation and was otherwise clean. We have gone there since they opened in 1988 and find it consistent overall. The cafe also has a good value priced breakfast. I'd recommend it to a friend.

This past week my huisband and I went to Cape Point. I forgot it was school vacation week. When we got there the lobby was full of yelling and screaming kids running all over the place. I thought this was going to be one awful stay. But actually the hallways were no nosier then any other time.The recieptionist at the desk looked like I was putting her out when I asked for a specific handicap accessible room. She did make the change without a problem. I did notice that the hotel did have childrens movies on in the evening to occpuy the kids. My only complaint is that I was not able to use the pool during the day. They should have set another hour during the day for adults. Yes they do have an adult time but that is at 10:00 PM. I did notice that a majority of the kids running in the hallway and in the pool were unsupervised. to the point that two children went to there room and couldn't get in because the parents went out. The hotel should have rulles for parents leaving their children unsupervised. Otherwise this was a nice min vacation for us. I would use this hotel again. This is my second time going there.

We were pleased by the kindness and cordiality of the professional staff - and the comfort and cleanliness of our room. The hotel was lovely, and it suited our needs perfectly. We plan to re-book at this hotel within the next few months. We have only good things to say about the Cape Point Hotel. Oh, and we're telling all our friends about it, too!

Hotel was great especially for the price. We love the indoor pool. Would definitley reccomend. Repeat customer.

Great family hotel. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the room was clean and very affordable. We had a good breakfast before we checked out at the hotel cafe.

We stayed here this past weekend and LOVED it! We always stay here and for good reason. It is clean, convenient and the staff is wonderful! When we got to our first assigned room (Rm 129), it was obvious that some MORON had smoked in the room because within 30 seconds I was all stuffed up. I called the front desk and they IMMEDIATELY placed us in another room (Rm 147) which was fine. The employees at the Cape Point go out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible and always have. Thanks to Eileen at the front desk and Jeff in the lounge for making it another great weekend!!

We ended up having to stay an extra night. They made us change rooms which we were fine with. The room for the second night was very bad. Tub wouldn't drain, smell of aftershave on the pillow, heater did not maintain temperature. If we had stayed in the original room would have rated it 5. Room 118 was fine, room 120 was the bad one. Told the front desk problems and filled out the survey. I would have expected that they would have at least email me to apologize, I've heard nothing. Bartender was excellent, very personable. Breakfast very good.

Needed a place to stay for business on cape cod and the hotel was gracious. Very comfortable and clean.

Since it was Christmas Eve, I was told at the desk there would be no maid service. I would have liked to know this ahead of time. The front desk person was very pleasant. I was glad there was an iron and ironing board in my room. For the price I would recommend this place.

The hotel was very accommodating and the price was perfect ! The reception we received upon check in was very professional and courteous. Our room was clean and comfy. The hotel also has a little cafe that serves breakfast for a good price. Our food was made quickly and tasted great. The portions were large and our waitress was very nice.I will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

The check in was fast and the room updated and clean. It was nice having a bar and restaurant in the hotel. Only complaint was the water in the pool and hot tub was grayish in color therefore I chose not to use the hot tub which I had been looking forward to.

We had a problem last time we stayed there.Inlaws room had no heat.Maintence took to long to fix the problem.I don't think we will stay there another time.

Very helpful and pleasant personel. Amenities we didn't need, like the pool, and some that would have been nice, such as a microwave, a light over the mirror, and an on-site restaurant that was open for breakfast-type food, or any food, all day. We would have preferred a less expensive room with no pool access.

Hotel advertises wi-fi in all rooms. Had to go out to second floor lobby to access wi-fi Dirty towel in bathroom upon arrival. Receptionist with an 'attitude' upon arrival Overall - not too happy

Hotel and room were very clean only complaint would be that the towels could be bigger and our maid never left us and kleenex fort the room. Would stay again on our next trip next year.

Found the hotel comfortable, but with older carpeting, walls and ceilings. Ceilings were low with ceiling tiles. Especially in the bathroom. Beds were clean and comfortable. 1st floor rooms, on the backside, opened via sliders to a grassy yard with chairs. Could be nice for sitting outdoors, but could hear other guests from our room if they were outside and talking loudly. The indoor pool area was very large and clean. Although we didn't use it, it looked very inviting. The hotel had a cafe where you could order breakfast for a fee. The selection was very good and the food was good as well. All in all it was a good stay. Just could use a little updating in the hallways and rooms.

i would recomend it but only inconvience is no coffee pot or microwave. and think bar can stay open little longer

Stayed three nights. DO NOT consider staying on the weekend even if you get a great deal on the room price - at least not if you value your sleep. Management seems incapable of setting a quality standard for guest behaviour and for enforcing any regulations. Our first two nights were uneventful but the third night (Friday) was a disaster. On the level below my room (this being the first floor with access to the parking lot), approximately 25 males (ages from 25 to 50) held another open sliding door room and tailgate party from approximately 8:00 pm until 3:30 am. They were loud, obnoxious and into four letter "friend getting" language. When I contacted the main desk the night staff seemed unshaken. Nothing of significance was done about this party except someone must have asked the party types to be less noisy. This was around 2:00 am. Shortly after 2:10 am, the party resumed. In the morning bottles were scattered about the parking lot and empty beer cans had been placed on the the top of several cars. When I went to the main desk to sort out this mess, several very irate folks were ahead of me, busily "tuning up" the day manager. This was a shame since the breakfast dining room staff were excellent and the breakfast menu both tasty and very reasonable priced. The room itself was more than adequate with a large parking lot. The housekeeping staff seems to do some very decent work and needs to be commended. Conclusion: -Look for another place to consider as this hotel is quite large, quite unsupervised and in need of management needing to train the front desk staff (who seemed far more interested in working on classroom homework and reading items on the internet). Don't expect a great deal of help from the front desk staff. -What we have is a good example of the "rot" being at the top with housekeeping and dining room staff shoring up the deficiencies.

Even though it is an older hotel, it was clean and comfortable. Friendly people at the front desk, housekeeper was cheerful and the bartender in the lounge was very personable. Definitely would stay here again due to the friendliness and cleanliness of the hotel.

The hallways smelled strongly of mold & the sides of the pool were covered with slime. The equipment I tried to use at the "gym" was either wobbly or out of order. My husbands head almost touched the ceiling when he got on the Eliptical. You also had to go to the front desk and exchange your key for a different key to use the gym. There was dust all over in the room that looked like it had been there since the place was built, which judging from the decor, was sometime in the late 70's or early 80's. The bathroom door would barely close, due to the rusty hinges and how swollen it was from the moisture. The walls were so thin that I could hear snoring coming from other rooms. This is what I would expect from a cheap hotel, not for what we paid to stay there. It's very disappointing how much you have to spend to stay in a decent hotel on the the cape. You could fly to Vegas and many other beautiful places, and even with air fair & an extremely nice hotel combined....spend much less than you have to spend to stay at a dump on the Cape. This is very disappointing!!!!!!

Cape Point Hotel was everything I needed it to be. We stayed for one night. The beds were very comfortable - not too hard, not too soft. The room was clean, with a mini fridge and safe. Our room even had access to a grassy back yard with patio chairs. I would definitely stay here again for an affordable room. It's perfect if you need a place to stay and don't want to spend all your time in the hotel.

For the price, the Cape Point had nice features and good central location. We spent most of the day in the large pool and hot tub during Tropical Storm Irene. However, when the power did not fully return after a few days, I had to request that we be moved to a room that had lights. No one seemed to care that there was no hot water. There was one microwave oven in the lobby for guests to use, but the outlet it was plugged into did not work, and they would not move it. I cancelled the last 2 days of my 6-day stay and went elsewhere.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It was clean and very reasonably priced. The indoor pool was great and my young girls loved it. It has a kiddie pool as well. The service was very good and they were very accomodating when we changed our dates due to an impending hurricane! Great location to many good restaurants and beaches (seagull beach is awesome). Definitely coming back again!

Nice hotel, just doesn't seem like cleaning is their top priority. There was green mold in the pool area, ants in our room(which was really gross) and dirty carpets. When I told the desk person about the ants she just gave me a dirty look. I wouldn't go back unless it was free. Way too overpriced anyhow. They do have a nice coy pond inside.

Great hotel, especially for kids. Both indoor and outdoor pools are well taken care of. The cafe was wonderful, great breakfasts at great speed and affordable prices. Connie, Heather and the other staff in the Cafe are fun to chat with as are the girls on the front desk. Everyone here seems to be very happy with their jobs. We'll be back!!!!

Came to the cape for my first time with my husband and just randomly picked this hotel. It was decently priced and room was clean and comfortable. Nothing amazing but did have indoor and outdoor pool. Only complaint is the pool temp was a bit too warm for my liking.....Also had hot tub:)

I recommend this hotel as long as you are only using room as somewhere to sleep and not somewhere where you spend a lot of time in room. The property could certainly use a makeover. The carpet in the room just felt dirty and old. On a positive note - it was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go on Cape. We were only there to come back to sleep. I didn't check out the pool or any other areas which could have been nicer than rooms.
