Adequate,but we did see a guest with a dog on a leash in the lobby & in the breakfast area

We enjoyed our stay it was confortable very good location for where we were going to SOS

I enjoyed the stay there, the pool was being painted at the time,we had to go next door .to the other hotel to swim, it was great they had the indoor pool my kids truly enjoyed it It was a pleasant stay the staff was excellent. I will stay there again. I will be back in July.

Sort of disappointing as I've stayed in other LaQuintas. The lobby and hallways were run down and not very well lit. The room was comfortable, but cramped and dingy. The bathtub needed recaulking and the hot water took forever. The staffed was friendly, but other than that not much positive to say about this hotel. The Quality Inn in the same parking lot is much nicer for just a few $ more.

was being upgraded and we were ot informed of that. breakfast bar area dirty and werre told he was going to hire someone found out not so he's been saying that for months. location is hard to find. will not rebook at this la quinta again.

The hotel was nice, beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Is also pet friendly. Hotel needs some maintenance though. but overall a good place to stay

They really ned to get their act together though. I stay there on and off because its cheap, safe, quiet and clean. However one time its a hot water problem, this time the wifi wasn't working. Mentioned it to them and was told they knew about it and seenmed to imply service was called a few days ago. On the plus side the clerk was very helpful when the tv remote was missing and she had to program a new one for the room. Very prompt and courteous.

The hotel was ok the only thing was they allowed pets so that was a shock to me also it had a drab feeling it wasnt very bright on the hallways and the hallways were musty feeling and smelling the front desk was great but the overall experience I cant say I would recommend this to anyone.

Title says it all. Does take a while for hot water to get to bathtub though. Can't beat the price though. My basic place to stay when on overnight business.

Hotel is hard to find as it is directly behind another hotel on a main street. Once we found it, is was a nice quiet place ans erved a good breakfast. I would stay here again

The room was clean. The bath tub could have been replaced. No TV remote. Room door handle needed repair. The Hotel looked like it could use some TLC. Fresh Paint attention to details the little things all add up.

Only problem is they had just gone to tankless hot water and it wouldn't get hot enough for a shower. Told mgr about it & hopefully it will be fixed asap. Manager seemed genuinely concerned. I'll give them a 2nd chance since I get down there once a month or so.

I had a wonderful stay there and always stay there. The only problem i had this year was someome kicked a friends motorcycle over. other than that .no problems. Pets welcome. loved it.

we needed a room for one night and we will stay at this hotel again. The only thing they didn't have was a frigerator in room and most of the time we have a small frig in room. That was the only thing I missed.

Simple, no frills hotel with a GREAT price and a great location. Quiet, ample parking, good sized rooms, great breakfast.. cheap! what else can you ask for?

THE PEOPLE AT THE HOTEL EXTREMELY NICE AND HELPFUL ,THE DESK ESPECIALLY.THE ROOM NEEDS A BIG CHAIR AND TABLE FOR LUGGAGE.. I THINK A MICROWAVE AND A SMALL REFRIGERATOR,WOULD BE A NICE TOUCH.THNX TO THE STAFF IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE

I didn't expect much from the La Quinta NMB because of it's low star rating. Aside from the location being a short drive from the ocean--as opposed to oceanfront, this is the best pet friendly hotel in NMB. The price can't be beat considering the top-notch serve your self continental breakfast with fresh waffles and the ample size and comfort afforded in the rooms. The staff was extremely friendly and tolerant of pets, and almost every area of the hotel was cleaned during our short 3 day stay. The hotel is located very close to shopping restaurants and the waterway, and just a short drive to the beach. The pool is small but clean, and gets the job done.

This smoke-free La Quinta is somewhat less than smoke free. There was the smell of smoke in the halls and in our room which had been heavily perfumed. When I mentioned this to the front desk the response was that they know that happens but they try to be on guard against smoking in the building. Also, the complimentary breakfast was disgusting. The coffee machine was broken the first day of our visit. From then on we ate breakfast out. Would not stay in this place again.

Early morning staff was fine but not so great for the afternoon desk people. Place is kind of old, which is not bad, but there were lots of things that needed work. The breakfast set-up makes it hard to get to the food so there was a really long line for so few items. Elevator sounded pretty iffy so we took the stairs. The back door is not secured during the overnight hours so anybody could get in or out.

The rooms were very spacious and beds were very comfortable. But the plumbing was poor. The toilet had to be flushed multiple times, the water ran with low pressure in the shower & sink, and the water drained out very slowly. the Continental breakfast has had no meat. Only breaded products. Not really great for diabetics. But overall nice facility.

I guess when I booked this hotel didn't realize that pets were allowed. The receptionist at check in was the rudest, most insulting, non-helpful person I've ever encountered at a hotel. We had a dog barking at 10:30 p.m. We called downstairs to see if something could be done so we could try and get some sleep. She asked us what room the barking was coming from....SERIOUSLY! So from this very disturbing visit I will never book another La Quinta Hotel again. Sincerely Lori Houle

My stay there was ok except for two things. I booked a room with one king size bed. When i got there none was avaliable and i had to get a room with two queen size beds next to a room where they had pets. the dog was crying all nite long!!!!!

My stay at this hotel was fine, the bed was comfortable and the room clean. I was not pleased when I awoke to find a dog barking next door, but this ceased later in the day. The hotel should place a sign at hwy 17 entrance so that guest will be able to see, the hotel is tucked away behind the Quality Inn which makes locating it difficult.

When we arrived for check in to front desk the lady on charge couldnt find my info. She tryed two times without any luck at all... She SCARED me lol. She finally found my info and told me somebody put that paper work on the wrong place. She really is a nice person, apologized and then we laughted. Room service is also excelent, they are always smiling. Thanks.

Parking was an issue as the hotel and hotels around it were clearly booked solid! It is also hard to find as it is not directly off of Rt 17, but off a side road that runs parallel. However, the staff was very helpful and gave us alternative directions to Myrtle Beach that helped us avoid traffic.

just dissatisfied with hotel breakfast. the pool was not clean. the room had no frigde or microwave. Just didn't like the idea of dogs being able to stay at hotel, unless it was a guide dog.

This hotel is really good if your looking for an inexpensive vacation. The only issue that i had was that the shower didn't stay hot for too long. I am considering going back to this place next year.

This place was nasty! If you can even find it by GPS with the address they have listed on their website...It kept my GPS going in circles. Wish I would have stayed lost...my room was filthy, when I turned on the water to take a shower...I saw all the dirt in the tub wash down the drain....UGH! Even though I had made reservations for 2 nights, I only stayed one night.

This hotel was the most inexpensive we could find that would take pets. We enjoyed our stay there. It was clean with plenty of room. Didn't think the staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was good.

Bathroom towels were dirty, sand in both beds, toilets did not flush well. Breakfast area was a joke.

This place was dirty , the water drains werent functioning properly I didnt feel comfortable at all.

Toliet would not work wouldnt flush! Called the front desk for some towels and was told it would be 15min we called at 8:15 am we left the hotel at around 10:00 never got any towels had to dry off with hand towels! and even thought its not the hotels issue but might have been got to see some chick arrested for public intoxication!! my niece was amazed

Hotel was nice. But came back to the room and the maids didnt make up the bed or bring fresh towels. Other than that everything was pretty good

The owner needs to spend some money on the physical plant. You would not be able to sell ice to Eskimos staying here! This might be 1/2 of a star instead of the #2 star rating.

The appliances in the room were very old and outdated. The air conditioner took a very long time to cool down the room. The location was not very convenient to the ocean. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone!

I was very pleased with my room it was very quiet, and the staff was very freindly

The La Quinta Hotel was wonderful, but hard to find. We had to call the hotel three times to get directions and was finally told to turn into the driveway for Quality Inn. They really need a visible sign for directions.
