I knew the unit was a one-bedroom condo, but was delightfully surprised with the great location, terrific view of the beach and the overall condition of the unit.

Had a great time.

We traveled from Oregon - first time in Florida. Used Hotels.com which gave us the information we needed to make an informed choice. We wanted ocean front, balcony, kitchen and a separate bedroom at an affordable price. The hotel is very well maintained (family owned and operated), room was spotless and the setting exceeded our expectations. Although Oregon is not around the corner, we intend to return to this lovely hotel and stay longer. We have already figured out that you can get over to Key West in 2 1/2 hours by high-speed ferry so we will add that adventure. Plenty to see and do within a couple hours drive. What's not to like!

we booked three suites between all of the family members who came down, we also had other family members stay at other hotels and everyone agreed ours was the biggest, nicest hotel with the prettiest stretch of beach. we'll definitely stay here again.

Staff pleasant and helpful, rooms immaculate, the only thing missing was coffee and shampoo. Never stayed at a beach hotel without shampoo.

We found everything to our satisfaction and our granddaughter especially enjoyed the beautiful beach. Although it was not your fault the failure of the elevator was a temporary inconvenience. There was a really unfortunate incident which was most distressful to us. Our beautiful Jaguar car was badly keyed on the trunk lid and also on the roof and was very obviously absolute vandalism. This act occurred during the night on April 5th while our vehicle was in your parking lot. This damage was reported and viewed by your staff and an apology was extended to us but there was no offer of compensation. If this damage is covered by our insurance it will still mean $500 out of our own pocket.. We will be filing a report with Travelers on April 9th and damage will be assessed at that time. We really feel your security is rather lax and it is most unfortunate we should have to bear the cost of repairs to our vehicle. Your comments on this matter will be appreciated. Loved our stay at Gulfview Manor last week. Suite and the waterfront view with the screened in porch were perfect. Bring a corkscrew. And you're out of luck if you want to play tennis. Nice end of Fort Myers Beach but lots of traffic if you're heading off the island to get to Sanibel or even downtown. Leave early in the morning to get anywhere north.

Nice place. Beautiful beach view. No complaints

Was exactly what we hoped for. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. Building is as "beachfront" as is possible in that stretch of FMB, meaning it's probably a couple hundred yard hike across the sand. Pool was nicely heated. If you are heading toTimes Square end of FMB after about 3pm plan on 30 - 60 min for traffic. Trolley stop is right across the street (download the app if you have a smart phone!) It's the quieter end of the beach, but you can always trolley up to visit the fray and trolley back home to peace and quiet! Thanks for a nice stay Gulfview Manor!

In reality rooms are much more spacious than on the pictures with balconies size of a patio in suburban townhouse. Fully equipped kitchen REALLY mean than it has everything and of very high quality (pots, pans, silverware, blender etc.) not just some misc. stuff form a Dollar Store. Grills are also of very high grade with everything included (except stakes). On a scale 1 to 10 I would give 100! Absolutely THE best!

First off, the confirmation email said I couldn't check in until 3pm. We drove 17+ hours from Ohio and got there at 10am so we spent the better part of the day at Sanibel Island before we checked in. At 4:35pm I get a call saying the office to our hotel is closing at 5pm. How is this possible? Check in after 3 and before 5? He said that the room would be open and the keys would be in it. We get there right at 5pm and catch the guy working in the office and he said that our room was actually ready at 9am and that we received a phone call explaining the check in process. This never happened and he pretty much called me a liar (in a nice way). He gives us our keys and beach towels and was very friendly. The room was actually a one bedroom apartment and it was also very nice except for the fact that the mattress on the sofa-bed was filthy. The beach access was great and the location was also good. The kicker is that we only spent one night there and as we were packing up getting ready to check out, I moved our vehicle to the bottom of the steps to load up (our room was right at the top of the steps on the second floor). Keep in mind that when we checked in, the guy said that we could pretty much park anywhere. After two trips loading up the back of the truck, I went back upstairs to get the family and the towels to turn back in to the office and when I got back downstairs, there was a boot on the tire of my truck with a notice. I took this to the office and the same guy that checked us in said "all, that was your vehicle." I told him I was only away from the truck for 5 minutes grabbing the rest of my things and he said I didn't have the green parking pass visible to which I responded "you never gave me a parking pass!" Now don't get me wrong, this guy was very nice and immediately took the boot off but come-on, we were only there a total of 17 hours and he saw our truck and took down the make and model when we checked in! I couldn't get out of that place quick enough!

The views were beautiful from our 4th floor unit. Beds were very comfy! Plenty of towels, including beach towels and all the usual necessities were provided. The kitchen is fairly well stocked with cook ware, but lacking cookie sheets; one call to the office and I had a cookie sheet delivered to my room 5 minutes later. Our room, the pool area, pool bathrooms as well as the laundry room were all very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views, great sandy beach, immaculate pool, and a wonderful staff. Our grandson thinks we should stay here often. We really enjoyed our get-away!

Suite was much nicer than what we were expecting for the daily rate. Clean and well maintained. Parking just a bit of a problem, and very few ammentities close by. Perfect if you want to really get away.

The apartments are close to what's happening on Fort Meyers beach, but quiet and very pleasant. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It's not a hotel, so there's no daily room cleaning which is nice. Very private and comfortable. The views of the beach are spectacular!!

Perfect spot away from the busy tourist end of beach! Everything we needed was in the apartment, plenty of room. Stunning view of beach. Kitchen cupboards could do with an update but we would definitely stay here again!

We loved this place! Had everything you need for a family of four. Only downside is the length of beach from beginning of sand to get to the water is a hike! With two small children it's not convenient but can't do much about that...otherwise, great choice.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. It's location was away from the touristy part of the island, so it was quiet and traffic wasn't a problem. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Cool location! Great room for the price. Not fancy, but location, location, location!!

A perfect week. at the Gulfview Manor. Huge roome great staff Beach right out the back door. This was a great place to stay we even grilled out one day. Room came complete with full kitchen with appliances and dishes, as well as directv. The hotel manager was around and was very friendly, Then even had chairs and beach towels. Perfect place to stay. We will be back next year.

We would absolutely stay here again. The gulf front unit we had was spotless and nicely decorated. The screened in lani was a bonus with the wonderful view it provided. Ken, the resort Manager, was very helpful and made you feel very welcome. We even received a phone call prior to your departure from home to let was know that beach towels were provided and there was no need to bring our own. The pool area was very well maintained and temperature of the pool water perfect. We hope to return soon.

I went for a beach vacation with my teenage daughter. It was just the two of us, so the 1BR (with 2 queen beds) 1BA condo was fine. The rooms are very basic and sparsely decorated, but adequate. Thie kitchen had everything we needed, but there was no dishwasher. (not a problem for the 2 of us, but not ideal for a larger group or family) There were plenty of bath towels provided in the unit, as well as a coin operated laundry on the premisis. It is right on the beach, and the owners are really helpful and friendly. There was a supply of beach chairs and rafts that you could borrow, they provided us with beach towels when we checked in, there was a computer with a printer in the office for anyone to use (which we did to print out our boarding passes) and wi-fi in the room. The pool is NOT on the gulf side of the buiding, which I would have preferred, but it was very clean and there were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrella tables on the deck. Overall, we had a great experience and would go back again. Great bargain, and a great beach vacation.

The suite was really spacious with full kithcen, bedroom, balcony and nice view over the beach. It's not in middle of all the bar & tourist fun (to south from the hotel at mall there are couple of nice places to have a beer or two, though). Would probably be a nice place to stay with a family and a bit longer time, since the suite is really comfortable and hotel's own beach is nice too. For those who don't like some sand dollars tasting your feet every now and then, i'd recommend going to the Lover's Key Beach (which is close!) and why not do some other activities the state park has to offer. Only downside was lack of breakfast, but the owner kindly gave some tips about couple of breakfast places close to the hotel.

We went on a family vacation and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It's very quiet, the rooms are fully equipped and the staff is friendly and efficient.

Appartement idéal pour une famille jusqu'à 6 personnes, avec un accès direct à la très belle plage de Fort Myers Beach. Sinon cuisine correctement équipée. Le seul bémol concerne la qualité du lit convertible dont le matelas était quelque peu fatigué. Au final bonne adresse à conseiller pour quelques jours de farniente.

Super Hotel/Appartment, Lage direkt am Strand, Balkon mit Meerblick, Zimmer sauber und sehr groß, 2. Fernseher im Schlafzimmer, Küchengeräte fast komplett neu, 2 Grill's zu benutzen, Pool zur Straßenseite, ziemlich klein aber beheizt. Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen.

Excellent accueil.Nous avions un appartement bien équipé. Hôtel très bien situé, sur une immense plage de sable blanc.La piscine de l'hôtel chauffée a été très appréciée aussi, d'autant que nous y étions seuls! (ce n'est pas encore la pleine saison touristique). Un très bon et agréable restaurant à proximité (on peut y aller à pied) "Charley boathouse". Nous sommes restés deux nuits mais nous aurions volontiers s"journés plus longtemps d'autant plus que les choses à voir à Fort Myers et les activités ne sont pas éloignées. Si ce n'était si loin, nous y retournerions!

Proper maar niet echt up to date. Geen draadloos internet. Wij hadden een kamer met uitzicht op de zee en een groot balkon, dat is wel de moeite!

Great location on a wonderful beach. Nice and spacey apartments with good facilities.

Wir genossen 4 Tage die grossen Zimmer und 2 Badezimmer, Wir reisten mit 17 und 18 jährigen Töchtern und das war super.

Hotel situé SUR une plage magnifique. Vue splendide si elle est sur mer. Appartements spatieux, propres, très bien équipés (notamment la cuisine). Piscine agréable et chauffée (ça peut servir, en hiver...) Accueil sympathique. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.
