I really enjoyed the nice clean pool with the water temperature just right. It was perfect for a some what cloudy day.The hot tub was amazing!! So clean and temperature again just right Soothed all my aches and pains.Lots of restaraunts to choose in the area.My only little complaint is the bedroom mattresses were old and uncomfortable and the T.V. set was much too small to see from the bed. Otherwise everything was good.

The only thing I needed was a place for the night... the beds are not very soft at all. otherwise it was just what I needed.

the only gripe I have is the room , the carpet should be clean, not sticky. outside of having to keep shoes on not a bad stay the outside and room it self was fine ,would stay again

Incredible bargain! I have stayed at others nearby and they charge more than twice as much for a less comfortable room. We even had a refrigerator and table and chairs for this low price. Friendly staff, recently updated room and quiet.

We booked a Sat night stay for Labor Day weekend on on a whim last minute. T&C was the cheapest hotel available with a decent looking indoor pool. The room was very basic (no pictures on the wall, no shampoo, no large towels, small tube TV but full cable, too-bright florescent lighting on the wall) but was clean and beds were comfortable enough for 1 night. Not recommended for romantic get away. The outdoor pool was full of leaves (from Irene) and had very concrete surroundings... not very appealing even on a warm day. The indoor pool was small but decent. Hot tub was ok as well. There seemed to be a number of people hanging around outside the hotel rooms who were living in in this hotel for the summer or for an extended stay. Location was ok, directly on Rt28 close to the action in W Yarmouth. Set back from the road somewhat so relatively no road noise.

The worst part of the room was the smell-moldy and wet. Office staff were not warm and friendly. Have learned my lesson about saving $ on a room.

Hotel staff were very friendly on arrival, room was clean and spacious and perfect for what we wanted, There was no breakfast available but there was free coffee and tea available in reception. The hotel pools both inside and out were clean and well maintained. Due to hurricane Irene we stayed another night. Great if you have children as there is plenty to do in the area, there is a convenience store next door along with a pharmacy so we were happy with the service and quality we got for the price. We would stay there again.

When we first arrived, we were not greeted by any one behind the desk, we felt as if we were an inconvenience to them. Later that night, we had an issue with our toilet, as it did not flush properly. I went to the office and asked for a plunger, but the worker had maintenence come to take care of it. When maintenence arrived, he did not smile or say hello. He went into the bathroom, flushed the toilet a few times, left and came back about 10 minutes later and then told us to hold the handle down for a few seconds and it will flush. Needless to say, the toilet was not fixed and we were not comfortable to use the toilet the rest of our stay. At checkout, the person who helped us smiled and was very friendly...the only helpful person we spoke to at the hotel our entire stay.

The desk attendants were rude to me, treated me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. The room was cold and drafty, toilet paper in the toilet, dirty tub. The beds were fine, lighting was bright florescent white, which was uncomfortable. The television was not in a convienient location. Not enough outlets for three people to charge phones, ipods, razors etc. The pools were both very nice. Supposed to be a 10-11 PM adult swim hour time, which was not abided by at the time we were there. TONS of kids in the indoor pool right up until the pool closed.

For the money you can do much better. If it was 35.00 a night I might overlook the cleanliness issues, uncomfortable beds, no breakfast, etc. but there are dozens of hotels in this area that are reasonably priced pick another one.

I booked this room for myself and 2 friends attending a local fitness conference. We just needed a place to land for the night. I would NEVER even think about bringing my family here... the room smelled of wet, moldy carpet. The door had a dead bolt but no chain and could've been kicked in by a toddler... One of my friends did a bed bug check and found no trace (GOOD NEWS!). Nasty motel bedspreads went on the floor upon arrival GROSS! This room served it's purpose. I am a major bargain hunter, but unless there are renovated rooms, this hotel is not a place I would send a friend ! Mke sure you get your photo ID copies back - that's how identity gets stolen !!!

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. I had stayed here many years ago and didn't expect it to be very good, but three pools & a quiet stay was what we had. I'd choose Town & Country again.

We found our stay at Town & Country pleasant from check-in to check-out. The staff was friendly and helpful, our room was clean and the grounds were nicely maintained.

Did'nt feel safe there

Rooms smell not clean staff not polite wanted to stay extra night room was available but was told had to stay 2 nights had already been there for 3 price no better than holiday hill just up the street in Dennis port would recomend them to everyone clean friendly close to good food with more emenities and close to good food stay away from TOWN AND COUNTRY

Hotel was very friendly and family oriented, indoor and outdoor swiming pools are great option, staff was helpful and friendly. Great location, everything is like next door. For coffee drinkers would recommend to bring your own coffee pot, otherwise you have to go to the office to get some coffee or tea. Will come back.

This was the worst, dirtiest, smelliest hotel ever. The lamp was falling down, the rug was wet, the toilet was leaking....cape cods worst place to stay for sure. We booked 3 nights online ( because it looked nice ) and left very early in the am after the first night. I will say that they did refund our money, but we were leaving either way. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20 at a nicer hotel.

This is my first time at the Captains Quarters. This is a motel that has seen some traffic over the years. I've been coming to the cape for over twenty years, and this motel has been here all that time, so my expectations were not that high. It was a pleasant surprise to find a room that was clean, odorless and roomy. Great towels, a pool with clear refreshing water and service with a smile. I'll come here again.

too many bugs inside our room, towels were old and not enough light besides bedlights. service was good and space inside the room was comfortable. Location is excellent.

Not to friendly, better places to stay

Our room was adequate for our needs, clean but bedding could use updating. We extended a day and would come back again.

Clean rooms, cheap price, friendly staff, happy customers.

We stayed at Town and Country Motor Lodge for a few days to spend some time in Cape Cod. Location was very convenient to Hyannis (five to ten minute ride). Neighborhood very safe. The staff was very professional, pleasant, accommodating and helpful. We were able to book a ferry to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket through the hotel with a modest discount which was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Bed and linens were clean and comfortable also. Bathroom was nice. Basic toiletries provided. The facility had three pools but we did not get a chance to use them. A few minor drawbacks: the wireless internet was very weak and unable to use. No coffee/tea maker in room which my friend considers a must. No hair dryer. No continental breakfast. All in all, it is a fine place to stay and good value for the money.

Nicely renovated room 114. New carpet, light fitures bathroom floor. However floor is damp and room musty. They say the cement slab absorbs water and there is nothing they can do. I suggest requesting a second floor room in June, July. I stayed in a second floor room in June and the room was was not musty and although older decor/furnishing the stay was great during two days of rain. Good value and central location overall.

Hotel was very dated, tub was peeling, stated that it provided toiletries but no shampoo or conditioer present. staff were very friendly, outside grills and in room refrigerator great alternative for cooking. would give a better rating if owners "spruced up" the place.

The room has a horrible smell of detergent/chemical they use to clean when first entered the room. The bed was horrible( if you have acid reflex like me) we had to use the comforter to prop up the head of the bed. The staff was wonderful and pools were super clean!!! We asked if we could change rooms, did not like the view of the trees or the noise of the street( we wanted a view of the pools) The staff was very accommodating..

Let's be real...this isn't the Ritz, but if you are looking for a bed, a clean pool, sometimes working hot tub, plenty of parking, quiet nights, an A/C, tv and refridge, this is the place to stay. Centrally located, close to beach, friendly staff. I've stayed there for years, and each time I leave thinking I got my money's worth...every time.

close to restaurants, major highways, convenience stores, etc. fridge in room was great as were both indoor and outdoor pools but room itself needs a spruce up & vinyl floor in bathroom was worn and stained.

The room was open not small and filled with furniture like other hotels. Good lighting in the room and the parking lot. climate control in the room was great. Easy to check-in and check-out.

There are two words to describe this motel: BED BUGS! BED BUGS! BED BUGS! BED BUGS!

Room was very clean. The furnishings are a bit old but not broken or frayed. The one problem I had was the bathroom sink faucet did not work well. The day I told the front desk, maintenance went in and replaced the faucet fixture! The air conditioning and heating unit worked very well. Same for the small refrigerator provided. Bring your own shampoo, the hotel does not provide any! You get soap bars and that's it for the bath area. Price was very good, so that offsets the little things. Pools, which I did not use, are very clean and daily maintenance was observed. Have used hot tub in past and it is very good.

This is a "get what you pay for" hotel! It was not very clean, had a musty odor, pillows were so lumpy that I slept without one. As we were only staying for one night, I did not pack shampoo - that is considered an "amenity" at this hotel and they do not provide it. We only got a few bars of soap - so pack everything you will need for this hotel! The outside pool area looked clean but did not want to chance a dip in the inside or outside pool.

My boyfriend and I stayed here during Memorial Day weekend. The location of the hotel is great, especially for such a good price point. Located close to Hyannis's harbor, great restaurants and Pirates Cove Mini Golf, I would recommend this hotel. The hotel was clean and I felt comfortable. I guess the only problem for us, being a younger couple, was that there were lots of kids running around and yelling the whole time. Also, while busy in our room, with the shades closed except for a little corner, a little girl while walking by decided to step back and stare into our room through that little corner at us. It was embarrassing to say the least and for that reason I would definately recommend this hotel for families, just not younger couples like us looking for a getaway.

This hotel was right on the main road; very easy to find. Staff was helpful and made check in very easy. Our room was ready, just as described and clean. I knew from the information I read online that there was an outdoor pool, but I was pleasantly surprised to find an indoor pool and a hot tub to enjoy also! Unfortunately, I was also surprised that there was no shampoo provided or hair dryer but I assume that is why it was as inexpensive as it was. The room was quiet and the grounds felt safe. When I left in the morning, I was greeting warmly by many smiling staff members. It felt like it was a family run operation that were nothing but professional.

This hotel is old and needs updating, but the staff was friendly, and the pool was nice. Parking was weird, but otherwise it was a good experience.

The hotel was clean and the bathroom was clean--NO MOLD! Fresh and clean towels for the kids when the got out of the pool. I really enjoyed my stay at Town & Country. I would really recommend this place to anyone who would be willing to stay there.
