Courtyard by Marriott Oakland Downtown - أوكلاند

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel....the room is beautiful and very peaceful! I will stay again.

I felt quite comfortable in my room, the window faced the courtyard. A very clean and cozy room. The arrangement of the room was well planned out. Everything worked, no problems at all with this hotel. The location is good, right near several parking garages. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

To advantage of valet parking it is necessary to double park in front of the hotel. No bell service is available except proving a part to haul luggage.

When I got to my hotel room I was surprised about how clean everything was. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone for comfort, and cleanliness. Location was okay, right in chinatown. Overall, this mariott and the one accross the street are your best bet in oakland.

Not only did they not mention to me that it was a non-smoking room, they charged me $250, WITHOUT INFORMING ME, just for smoking one cigg in the room. ridiculous. plus, the hotel is in the middle of downtown oakland.... not the safest or cleanest place to stay.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel twice so far. Good location, good bedding, above average everything. Be aware of the *20* charge for valet parking, and the creepy neighbourhood at night. Other than these two drawbacks, I'd say it's perfect.

This hotel is a bit of a 'find' for us, my daughter and son-inlaw, live about 5 miles from the hotel. It is in a nice area, the staff very friendly and helpful, clean and well priced via Hotel.com.

The Courtyard Marriott was the perfect home base for our Treasure Island Music Festival girls' weekend. The rooms seemed like they were recently remodeled with modern decor and nice Asian-inspired decorating touches. It was close to BART and was way more affordable than staying in SF. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

There is a good breakfast selection at this hotel, which has few amenities other than rooms, which are large and clean. I used it for a business stop over two nights. There is wired (ethernet) internet in the rooms. A full service Marriott hotel with a good restaurant and other facilities is just a block away. The rebuilt center of Oakland is a short walk away, and a major BART stop is two blocks away. I used that for a 40 minute, inexpensive high speed ride to San Francisco International airport.

Excellent hotel, good location, price reasonable

One block walk to BART, then a 12-minute ride to downtown SF. Stay on the same train for another 30 min (?) to SFO. Great brewpub around the corner on Washington, Pacific Coast Brewpub.

Located right by the Bart so no need to use car to get around. The room was clean and well maintained. We like firm mattresses so loved the beds. It's in the center of downtown yet the room was quiet and private. The staff was great and really went the extra mile for us. Full breakfast buffet, good quality. I wish the pool was larger and jacuzzi outdoors but can't have it all. Definitely stay there again.

The hotel was newly refurbished so the rooms were nicely appointed and in good shape. Quiet, convenient,( next to Chinatown) - only drawbacks were NO FRIDGE, NO WIRELESS internet in room (they are supposedly in the process of converting ) and no self parking. Free coffee - pay breakfast.

This was a clean hotel & we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was convenient but they should add a little more variety to the menu. After all, you can't eat an omelete everyday! The valet was so-so; two of the attendants were great, one valet attendant acted like we were bothering him. Overall, a nice hotel by the Bart...I would stay there again!

I stayed here for on night on a business trip. The hotel was conveniently located to my office so I gave it a shot. The room was very clean with a large shower. The water got hot quickly but was too hot for me even on the cold setting. It took awhile but I found a temperature that was tolerable. The nice HDTV was positioned to the right of the bed which was a bit odd but it was sitting on a desk that had a table which you could pull out from underneath. The king bed was nice but at 11:30pm my neighbors decided to have some kind of contest and there were people yelling and jumping up and down. My whole room began to shake and that's when I called service. They said a security guard was up but after another half hour they were still loud so I called again. I think the noise and shaking stopped around 12:30 or 1am.

My wife and I came for an eve ant the Fox Theatre. The hotel was 5 short blks away. We walked and made it in 10 min.s The hotels was nicely kept and our rooms was very clean. We did have a few partiers going "off" 'til 3:30am ... oh, well. The breakfast buffet was a nice (a few extra dollars with res. or $15/person if u decide there). I'd recommend this hotel.

I asked for a quite room far away from elevator & ice maker. I was pleased that I got it. My room was on the top floor (5th flr.) but you still heard loud conversations from the street @ 2:a.m. This is no individual safe in the room of this hotel. Otherwise I was satisfied.

This is a nice hotel with great location, a lot of good Chinese restaurant within walking distance, clean and big room, helpful front desk, great breakfast buffet. Just one thing, be careful with their TV system if you travel with kids--- there are lot on demand selection at pricy rate, and my 8-year-old turned on tv once we in the room, and he select "just for kids" and then he did not read clearly the small wording in next selection and went to a package of kids on demand without showing the price and an opportunity to review the purchase. Then I noticed it and saw something on screen like you will pay one price to see unlimited kids channel. I then tried to find a free kids channel but only found out we cannot go back to this package again. When checking out, we had a 9.99 dollars for movie even we did not want to purchase and kids only watch for 30 seconds. I argued about it and the lady at front desk first just said they have 3 steps of confirmation which does not actually apply to the package. Then she checked something inside and found out we only watch for some seconds, so she credited back finally.

The radio in the next room went off at 7:am and I thought it was my alarm indicating how close it was. Parking fees are not listed in the description on the website and I drove around many times trying to find free street parking on the weekend. Otherwise, parking is $20 overnight. There was no restaurant open at night except for the breakfast. On the weekend there is nothing open in the downtown area and walking around is full of homeless folks.

This is a good hotel for the price. Loacated in Oakland which means that you have to take the fery to SF or car. But it is very confortable and good standard to a cheap price

Room was comfortable and clean. Best part was the breakfast buffet (which I paid an upcharge on the room to include). I had a made-to-order omelet, and the fresh fruit was delicious. One block away is the B Restaurant, with a great menu and festive atmosphere.

This is the second time my girlfriends and I have stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. The staff have been pleasant and helpful. I also truly enjoyed the breakfast buffett. Yummy! I would recommend this hotel to others and would be returning. Thank you!

the rooms were large, clean & comfortable. In room coffee pot was convenient - we didn't have to plug & unplug it. Valet parking was AWESOME!! we left our car at the hotel & used the BART - it was super easy, safe, cheap. We were there on the Chinese New Year weekend & there was a small street festival we enjoyed a lot. The breakfast (included) was very good with a big selection and a very large dining room. I thought that was especially impressive as square footage is so expensive in downtown areas. We will use it again if we return to the area.

Near to BART, bus and also has valet parking ( which was surprisingly reasonable ). Room and breakfast were great. Location near to many of Oakland's downtown sites by foot.

This hotel is located accross the street from a more expensive Mariott. It's rooms are very similar to the more expensive hotel and the internet is free (unlike the more expensive Mariott). I would stay here again.

Nothing special, but great location. Good breakfast was included.

LOVE THIS HOTEL, LOVE THE LOCATION AND LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.

This hotel is what yoj'd expect for the price... good, not great. It's on the edge of Oakland's Chinatown, which is safe enough, but not very attractive. The front desk people were excellent. The room was fine. The only complaint I have - we were supposed to have a pullout couch and they assigned us a room without one. After that, they did nothing to correct the problem. Otherwise, a good hotel for the money.

When we came into our room at night, what looked like a prostitute was in the halls with what looked like her customer

To be honest, I did not expect the quality that I ultimately experienced; I needed a specific location, but had not stayed in that vicinity of Oakland, CA before. I am pleased to report that not only was the location perfect, but the few surrounding streets with all the ethnic shops was a treat. The hotel is lovely and airy, very, very clean, the staff friendly and extremely competent, and I am looking forward to my next stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Oakland.

The Courtyard is right across the street from the Convention Center and attendant hotel. Very convenient, clean, comfortable, nice staff, good local restaurant recommendations and maps, too.

Start your day with a hot off the grill omelet.

New facility, nice rooms, small pool, but only a quick block to the BART station. I will be back.

Was surprised by cost of overnight parking
