Hotel Mediterraneo - سورينتو

We enjoyed our stay. Great staff, very clean and comfortable. The view is amazing. The breakfast is great and served on the top floor with a great view. The Internet worked but was a little slow. The pool and hot tub was awesome. Happy hour everyday from 6-7:30 with good drink specials and free appetizers. It's a short 15 minute walk to the center of Sorrento, part of which is through a beautiful lemon tree grove. We originally booked two nights but needed up staying here for two more because we were so comofortable and relaxed.

We stayed one night. Incredible view. Definitely get a sea view room - that was the main charm of staying there. It's over a mile walk to the center of Sorento, but I think they have a free shuttle. We just walked. The room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was decent, and the views from the top floor restaurant where the breakfast was served were amazing!

The hotel sits on a busy street. The government requires the hotels to turn off the air conditioning on October 1 so for cool air we had to open the window which also let in all of the street noise. The walls are also very thin and we could hear everything the people next to us were saying when the windows were closed. Overall the hotel was beautiful and in great shape and the staff was A+++!!

This is an outstanding hotel. The reception staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful, as was the breakfast staff. And speaking of breakfast, we couldn’t decide which was better, the service, the choices at the buffet, or the view. They were all spectacular. It looks like this hotel has been recently renovated; very upscale and modern, I just wish they had made the shower larger. After seeing some of the reviews we had reservations about the distance from Sorrento Center but this never caused any problem because the complimentary shuttle ran frequently and on schedule. We stayed at four hotels while in Italy and this was the only one where the Wi-Fi worked so well. The pool was beautiful and the grounds were equally beautiful and well maintained. I highly recommend the Hotel Mediterraneo and will certainly return on my next trip to Sorrento

Lovely hotel, half board option was excellent, both poolside restaurant and rooftop were very atmospheric, staff friendly and facilities excellent.

Had a great weeklong vacation at the hotel. Very nice pool and poolside restaurant. They have a small private beach bit it costs extra, and isn't much. But one needs recognize that the coast isnt a sandy one.

We stayed at the hotel mediterreneo June 5 to june 10 2011, and wished we could have stayed longer. All the staff was fantastic especially Angniello at the front desk. Great location with excellent shuttle service to the plaza in sorrento. Unbelievable views, especially at the fantistic breakfast served on the fifth floor of the hotel with a view to Vesuvius and the bay of Naples ... best breakfast we,ve ever had in three trips to Italy. We highly recommend the hotel to visitors to Italy .

Well kept hotel, easy van ride to Central Sorrento. Good views, great pool area and very helpful and friendly staff.

Front desk staff were exceptional, beautiful hotel, beautiful location, shuttle and private transporaton excellent, comfortable room, & would highly recommend this hotel to family & friends. Wanted to stay longer.

It was one of the best hotels and hotel experience we had in Italy! Room was fantastic, view was exceptional, and the staff was VERY helpful and friendly.

beautiful rooms, views, and pool. not too far from town and the hotel provides a shuttle or bus schedule that stops right outside the front door.

From the very first instant when we entered the hotel, we were extremely happy with the choice we had made. Everyone made us feel so welcome. Our room had the most fantastic view of the Bay - to wake up each morning to the view, made our holiday extra special. Breakfast was top class with plenty of choice for everyone. We chose to eat elsewhere in the evening - our budget didn't quite run to the prices in the hotel - and because of the location, there were plenty of reasonably priced restaurants close by. The pool area seemed very nice though we didn't use it - we had gone for the historical sights. The only downside that we experienced was that our room on the fourth floor was immediately underneath the restaurant on the fifth floor. Sometimes we were woken early in the morning by the noise as they prepared the restaurant for breakfast. There was a wedding in the restaurant during our stay but the guests moved into the garden early evening so that caused no problems. I would recommend this hotel to anyone without reservation

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days a few weeks ago. The view from this hotel is amazing! Right on the Coast, you can overlook the water from the hotel restaurant. We ate breakfast every morning outside while watching the boats and the water...so great! The complimentary breakfast was a pretty good selection. Hot and cold items, lots of fruit and plenty of beverages to chose from. We had dinner one night there as well and it was very good. A little pricey, but not too bad. We had lunch one day by the pool which was lovely! The pool is very relaxing and never got too crowded. The staff is very nice and accomodating. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful with lemon and orange trees growing and flowers everywhere! The rooms are nice but a little small. We had the 2 full bed room. The beds were fairly hard and the shower is sooo tiny! I wouldn't say it makes or breaks this hotel, but be prepared that the shower is very small. We had a balcony that overlooked the pool. The room had a wardrober, a safe, minibar. The great thing about this hotel is that there is a free shuttle that leaves almost hourly to take you to Sorrento. Very convenient and helpful. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Circumvesuviana train station. It is a beautiful walk, but if you have bags, its a bit lengthy. Do be aware that even though its a short distance away, the cab ride from the hotel to the train station was about 12 Euros! Kind of a rip off, but good if you have bags. Overall, I would stay here again. It's very remote and you can't beat the views. Sant Agnello is an amazing place!

Hotel Mediterraneo ligger 10. min udenfor Sorrento med en fantastisk udsigt over Vesuv og Napoli. Hotellet er klassisk Italiensk venlig service men detaljerne går man ikke op i hvilket er lidt ærgeligt men typisk for Italien. De eneste downsides er at Hotellet er meget lydt hvilket godt kan genere ved sengetid samt pool områdets størrelse i forhold til gæster. Det betyder at der er meget støjende omkring poolen hvilket ikke just er afslappende!! Men hvis man styre fri af juli og august er Hotellet super fint.

Ótima localização, boas instalações, área da piscina muito agradável. O maior problema para a nossa família foi a localização do quarto, que tinha uma vista muito bonita, mas estava embaixo do piso do restaurante, o que gerava muitos ruídos pela manhã. Evitem o quarto piso, a não ser que tenham o hábito de acordar às 6h30 da manhã.

MUITO BOM O HOTEL. PISCINA, RESTAURANTE, ATENDIMENTO, LIMPEZA. O QUE MAIS FASCINA É A LOCALIZAÇÃO. VISTA SOMENTE EM FILMES. RECOMENDO ESTE HOTEL.

Hotellet var ungefär som vi förväntat oss - helt okej. Fick ett standardrum med balkong på första våningen mot gatan. Trevligt rum, dessvärre ingen havsutsikt från balkongen. Vi spenderade dock inte speciellt mycket tid på hotellet, eftersom vi var där för att se oss om. God och rejäl frukost och trevlig personal. Det som kan vara bra att känna till är att det är en bit in till Sorrento. Att gå tar cirka 25 minuter. Hotellet har en shuttle buss som kör visa tider på dagen men om man vill ha maximal frihet så skulle jag välja ett hotell som låg närmre Sorrento, som är en väldigt trevlig stad att spendera kvällarna i. På dagarna rekommenderar jag utflykter till Capri & Amalfikusten. För att ta sig dit: Tåg från Neaples, som stannar på stationen Sant Agnello. Därefter kan man gå (om man orkar dra väskorna efter sig), tar cirka 10 minuter till hotellet.

Jeg synes hotellet var rigtig fint til pengene. Flotte værelser, med god aitcon og MEGET imødekommende personale. De var alle utrolig hjælpsommen og hjalp os med alle de spørgsmål til udflugter, bookingen og andre praktiske ting vi måtte have. Morgenmaden er god, og det er desuden et stort plus med gratis internet. Udsigten på hotellet er fantastisk, og området dejlig stille og roligt. Hotellet har desuden egen elevator ned til stranden, hvilke var dejligt bekvemt. Det negative: Værelserne var meget lytte, dvs. man kunne høre når de brugte bruseren, eller hårtøreren på andre værelser. Det kunne godt være lidt irriterende når man prøvede at sove. Hotellet har en shuttelbus ned til Sorrento by, hvilket er en glimrende service, kunne dog godt ønske at den gik oftere, i løbet af dagen. Alt i alt - dejligt hotel i stille område, med god udsigt og strand. Servicen er i top! Kunne dog godt have ønsket et mindre lyt værelse.

Bem localizado. Ótimo serviço e boa infra-estrutura. O quarto é um pouco pequeno, mas nada que comprometa a qualidade do hotel. O salão de café da manhã tem uma vista deslumbrante, além do próprio café que é excelente.

bon hotel, accueil très aimable. Nous avions une chambre avec vue sur la mer. Belle piscine extérieure. Seul petit reproche, la piscine fermait un peu trop tôt (19h00) alors qu'il faisait encore très beau et chaud. Mais dans tous les hôtels où nous sommes allés en Italie, c'était la même chose....
