This hotel overall in regards value, cleaniness, friendliness and facilities has it all. Set with the backdrop of a 18 hole golf course and comfortable club house, I would recommend this hotel and golf course to the even the most discerning guest.

Hotel was very nice clean and everthing you need to have a great time. Only problems the bar staff took 40 mins+ to make a cocktail and I had to return to the bar twice to ask them what the delay was. Room service only till 10pm this should be later.

The country club label is a bit misleading. It is a good 4 star hotel near a golf course.

Room not warm enough. Radiator didnt work (despite reassurances from staff). No extra blankets. Nice Breakfast though

Travelling with a 6 month old we were delighted with the spacious, clean and stylish hotel-perfect for us as plenty of area outside for walks as well as plenty of couches to stretch our little lady out. We will return for sure-a 20 min taxi will have you in the city if you need also.

Its ideal , good countryside location minutes from the city - good access to the city and motorways. nice leisure centre. comfortable rooms!

My husband, 6 year old, 4 year old and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights between Christmas and New year. Excellent customer service, particularly the reception staff. Nice warm temparature in the pool, however the changing area and the bedroom were very cold. There was a cold wind blowing through our bedroom window and even with the radiator turned up the room was still cold. However, all in all the hotel was great and I would return!

Fabulous hotel. All staff courteous and friendly. Breakfast staff most helpful. Any request for assistance (taxi's etc) no problem whatsoever. Enjoyed the bar , the golf course and on the first night Castleknock (Mylos) was great craic. Food at Brasserie 15 was also very good. Would recomend the hotel to anyone

The hotel has excellent professional and smiley staff. Bar/Lounge area is fantastic with great facilities. Room was quite comfy and bathroom although a normal smal size, felt very spacious due to great design. Only negatives: No fridge in room and toilet flush is very poor. Although plumbing was never great in ireland, maintenance should improve it.

Was very pleased with hotel first night had a lot of noise from pipes and told staff about there was no problem whatsoever i was given a different room overall very pleased with stay

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Very modern, & imaculately clean. Took my 7 yr old daughter for a 2 day break, superb for kids.....fantastic swimmimg pool, & kids playground. Great friendly, family atmosphere, with an excellent food & wine menu. I will definitely be back, my daughter was crying because she had to leave

Lovely hotel. We had a lovely time. Staff extremely friendly. Bar service excellent. Found restaurant a bit expensive. The bar food was quite reasonable. Breakfast too pricey. No lock on bathroom door so no privacy in bathroom. Lovely big car park which is free. Would definitely go back.

Hotel staff take pride in their duties, and that is one of the reasons I keep going back to this hotel, along with the style and confort i get from the hotel.

What's there to say staying there again next week Great hotel, the staf are great the food is great

This was a great place to stay just outside Dublin. It's far enough away from the busy streets but close enough to go into the city and see the sites. Everything was great and I have no complaints.

It was a pleasure to stay here, the service was exceptional

Lovely hotel at a great price. Convenient to airport but requires a cab to Dublin.

Almost embarrassingly courteous. The staff jumped hoops to accomodate our any request. It was embarrassing how they waited on us so willingly. We didn't want to be a typical client bother but one or two questions or requests came up and we were overwhelmed with great responses and accomodation.

Stayed in hotel after wedding reception. Rooms lovely, bath and shower in rooms. Fab comfortable bed. Curtains let a lot of light in that woke me! Very long corridors, especially to the suites! Food was ok, its was a part of the wedding lunch but the beef was average and very little veg! Starters were beautiful and dessert trio was great. Nice place to stay, not outstanding, a bit on the expensive side of this for average food and service.

loved everything about it

Got a great deal on this short stay, not too easy to find but worth the effort especially if you've got your own transport. Very friendly staff, very clean room, good food. Didn't get to use the golf course, pool and leisure facilities but they all looked first class. In short would certainly go back, now I know the way!

My husband & I have stayed in Castleknock before and as always we weren't disappointed. Reception staff very helpful and pleasant as always, nothing ever a problem. Hotel is new & very clean. Our room very spacious and clean too. Bed comfortable and large bathroom, with both bath and separate shower. We enjoyed sitting outside with a drink looking out over the pond and the golf course - very relaxing. There is a nice selection of bars & restaurant if you want to stay in or order room service. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi, pool, steam & dry rooms. Would stay again as we got a good price for the night

I stayed at the hotel last week for business reasons and I was extremely pleased with this hotel. The staff had been very professional, polite and helpful. The hotel is slightly remote from the city centre, hence you're better off having your own car. If you're looking for a stunning place, with a nice pool and a lovely Golf, this is a very good place to stay!

Great price for the hotel. Staff very friendly. Only one recommendation, keep to the back of the hotel as the night life is pretty loud,

Visited friends in Castleknock Lodge. Location of hotel couldn't have been better. Also, had a dinner at the golf course clubhouse. Very nice. Thanks

Had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Close to city, but yet in the countryside. Staff very helpful.

This has been our most comfortable hotel stay in all our years of hotelling. From the cleanliness of the facilities, room amenities, and great location to the pleasant service which was efficient and with a smile. Queen Elizabeth and President O'Bama stayed less than 2 miles away. I think we got better service and greater open view of the golf course. Very content after our stay. Great place (or should I add an a--great palace)

Very impressed with this hotel, but be content to stay in the environs of hotel

Stayed two nights with my wife and three children and found it to be a most beautiful hotel indeed close to everything.....wel done Castleknock.....

Excellent staff, so obliging. Beautiful location. Good value. We just loved it and will certainly be returninng, maybe when our golf improves!

Fabulous room, beautiful location, great pool, leisure centre and golf course - close to a good urban village in castleknock, right beside the motoroway and AMAZING value. To be honest, I booked this hotel on price and because it was close to my next meeting, but it's in an amazing location beside the motorway. About 1.5 miles from the village and train station. It's a perfect location if you have a car as it's really convenient for the motorway, railway or the city. My only negative is that, it's not really realistic without a car as it's a taxi ride €10 to the village or train station. A shuttle bus to castleknock would make this the best all-round hotels in Dublin - and that's before you see the great value!

We recently stayed in the hotel and found the prices of alcohol very expensive, in particular the price for a glass of Rose Wine (from the same bar) the first price for a glass was E8.25 and the second price for the same drink was E7.40. When we questioned the manager he told us that was the price, however a glass or white or red house wine was priced at E6.00 but there was no Rose house wine available.

The Hotel in itself is really nice & the pool is great, however the room I had was not able to be used between 5:30 & 7:15pm EVERY night because of the dreadful generator noise directly outside the room. When I asked to be moved I was told it was only for an hour !.. very poor indeed !!... also most of the time the heater did not work in the room or was off, despite me turning it to the maximum on the unit, as it was -4 outside this was not good at all.. So, in summary if you want a nice hotel with a freezing cold room & time in the bar early evening when the room is uninhabitable through noise; Castleknock is the one for you !.. Forget getting amorous with your partner unless you are an eskimo.

This hotel amazed me. Top-class facilities and lovely environment. Finished to very high standards with a great choice of bars and restaurants, a leisure centre and comfortable rooms. Would highly recommend for all occassions and age groups.

My husband and I enjoyed our one night stay just disappointed that the pool closed at seven thirty.We didnt arrive until late in the evening and I was looking forward to relaxing in the pool etc .The shower heads in the bath and shower need replacing the water just gushed out.Apart from the above we were very impressed with the hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.our room number was 139.Regards Patricia O Neill.
