The hotel was absolutely fanastic in all ways!

Riverside View Suite was exactly as it said on the box .. Staff were very knowledgeable and efficient,including Concierge who parked my car, .. a most enjoyable stay, but it should be remembered that this is not a cheap place to stay.

The accomodation was stylish, contemporary and of a very high standard. Visiting London as a family,we planned to stay just outside the centre so that it would be quieter. Whilst there was little traffic noise, on the night that we stayed there was a band playing for a corporate event, the noise from which was unbearably loud in our third floor riverview apartment . The music went on until quite late, making it impossible to sleep. I would therefore think twice before staying on a weekend with young children.

The 2-bedroom apartment we were provided with was excellent with a lovely view of the river. The range of complimentary tolieteries, bathrobe and slippers were a nice touch. The kitchen could have done with some milk but other than that, it was fine. Travellers should note though that parking overnight at the hotel's on-site parking will cost £26.00. Ask for a room on the 4th floor or upwards and facing Big Ben - enjoy your stay!

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful; I arrived early and they had my room ready within 15 minutes. My room (with a spectacular view of Parliament, Big Ben, and the London Eye) was really without compare -- a friend from London said "wow, I didn't know London could look like this." Comfortable bed and furniture, lovely bathroom, lots of room to relax in -- including a private balcony overlooking the river, a true rarity in London. Room was well equipped with electronics/radio (with iPod doc)/tvs) -- made it easy to feel at home. It was also great to have a kitchen and laundry in the room. Hotel included lots of nice touches that showed thoughtful service -- pillow chocolates, coffee/tea supplies in the room (plus cookies), candles/a lantern for the balcony (very romantic), bottled water in the room, luxury toiletries, robes and slippers, and soap for the laundry/kitchen etc. Housekeeping cleaned and checked the room several times during the day, so it was always in good condition. Roomservice was fast and helpful, food was very good and good selection. Hotel is a quick walk across the river to parliament and nearby sites, as well as good restaurants and shopping (plus there are always taxis outside). The quiet location is actually a plus -- makes enjoying the view more relaxing!! A wonderful London find. Five star quality at a competitive price. Was good for a romantic weekend, but would would be equally equally great for business and family travel.

TERRIBLE CHECK IN EXPERIENCE, CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS CAN BE RATED A 4 STAR HOTEL !

Plaza on the River is an excellent hotel choice if you like a bit of quiet, but still want to be close to Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, etc. It's walking distance to all these things or a 5 minute cab ride. Superb, quiet and understated service, an excellent breakfast buffet and a busy, very pleasant lounge that stays open well into the night. I saw a couple of poor reviews below. Being in London already, I walked into the hotel and reviewed room before booking. I was impressed by both the unit I saw on a lower level and the unit I reserved on an upper floor. I love the corridor carpets - woven with poetry into them!

Where to start? First: The hotel advertises flexible check-in times. When we arrived from JFK they told us it could be as late as 2PM before we could check-in. Travelling with two younger children, we had hoped to be able to nap when we got there. We were not allowed to even wait wait in a foyer that was off to the side and rest as it might be offensive to guests checking out. We were rudely asked to leave and come back hours later. Mind you, our body time was about 4am and we had no real sleep due to flying overnight. Second: We were put in a room that was at the back of the hotel. We soon discovered that it is about 30 feet from SEVERAL train tracks. The windows are NOT sound proof and we heard every train ALL night long. Third: It was at least 3/4 of a mile and a mile from the two closest Tube/Train stations. We walked far everywhere we went. Fourth: No restaraunts near the hotel except for the hotel's own asian restaraunt. Fifth: There was no one there at check out time at the desk and had to walk across the hall to the adjoining hotel to check out. I work for a major airline and stay in international hotels all the time. This hotel was incredibley disappointing. I felt terrible for my children as this was the first time they had ever been to an european destination.

This hotel was great. Granted, we ended up paying a little more for an upgraded room (wanted a view), but when we opened the door and all we saw was Big Ben and Parliament out of the floor to ceiling window, how can you complain. Our suite had a balcany overlooking the river, a small kitchen area and a washer. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will stay there next time we are in London....but do get the upgrade, it's worth it.

Having a one bedroomed studio made travelling with a 10 year old much easier. We had a spacious bedroom and then a bed made up in the lounge area. Handy little kitchen area too and a lovely bathroom.

We were thrilled with this hotel. We were treated like royalty. The apartment was luxurious and spacious and the view was amazing of Big Ben and Westminster. We loved the restaurant Chino's and the prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. Can't say enough good things about this hotel.

テムズ川沿いに位置して部屋からテムズ川が見えてとてもよいロケーションです。ビックベンも近くにあり、毎日見ることが出来ます。部屋には、キッチンセットと洗濯機も装備されており連泊者にとっては大助かりです。一点、隣の部屋の音が聞こえるのが残念ですが、全体的にはGoodです。

スイートのお部屋に設置されたキッチン周辺の機器や食器、お水など質が高く快適にすごせました。バスも広々として清潔で使いやすいものでした。ビックベンまで歩けますが、観光につかれると歩ける距離ではなく、またホテル周辺には何もないため、タクシーを使うことが多くなると思います。

L'Hotel est parfait, le service impecable. Il est proche des sites touristiques et des stations de bus, de train et de métro. Prix très bas pour cette qualité : chambre très propre, cocktail offert au bar de l'hotel, mot de bienvenue. Je le recommande chaudement.

Vi var her med kidsa en helg. Vi ble mottat med åpne armer bokstavelig talt, gratis sjampis under innsjekkingen og hjelp med bagasje og babysenger og gave til 2åringen, dette ga oss et posetivt møte med hotelet. Flott beliggenhet, flott leglighet, stille, fantastisk utsikt, barnevennlig og super hyggelige og service innstile annsatte som sto på pinne for deg hele døgnet gjorde dette oppholdet perfekt. VI kommer definitivt tilbake og vi anbefaler på det varmeste.

L'hotel è in ottima posizione,sulla riva del Tamigi e praticamente di fronte a Houses of Parliament ed a 10 minuti a piedi da Westminster Abbey e Big Ben. La fermata metro non è vicinissima ( circa 800 m.), ma si possono raggiungere i principali monumenti a piedi, davanti all'hotel passano ,inoltre, dei bus.L'hotel ha un parcheggio a pagamento. Il personale dell'hotel è gentilissimo e molto disponibile.L'hotel ha sia camere che appartamentini. Avevamo un monolocale per tre persone , bellissimo,ben arredato e pulitissimo: cucina con frigor, lavastoviglie e lavasciuga,macchina per caffè espresso ed ogni mattina venivano fornite gratuitamente cialde per caffè,acqua(Voss!),cioccolata,biscottini.Al nostro arrivo ci è stato offerto un flute di champagne. L'unica cosa negativa era la vista interna della camera (cosa che sapevamo; l'hotel ha camere con meravigliosa vista sul Tamigi ,ma costavano molto di più). Ringraziamo di cuore la gestione ed il personale per l'ottimo trattamento avuto. Consigliamo vivamente questo hotel e, se potete(per le camere doppie credo sia più facile) chiedete una camera con vista sul Tamigi verso House of Parliament.

Estábamos en un estudio para dos adultos y un niño, para mi es suficiente el espacio. Una cama matrimonio grande y un sofá cama desplegable. La cocina totalmente equipada que te permitía hacer la cena y desayuno ( hay una cafetera nespresso con pastillas cada mañana !!! ) . Lavavajillas y lavadora ..El servicio muy bueno , no tuve problemas con el idioma habia una recepcionista española , Sofia, que nos ayudó muchísimo. La estación de metro Vauxal a 10 minutos a pie , pero delante se coge el autobús 77 que te lleva directamente hacia allí y hacia Waterloo donde está el London eye . En fin tengo claro que si vuelvo a Londres que espero volver , repetiría ... Un único punto negativo que ya comenté en el Hotel : Hay un montón de canales de TV y ninguna en español !!!

Ficamos muito satisfeitos com a hospedagem no Plaza on the river em Londres. Recomendamos este hotel e com certeza voltariamos a ficar.

Tja, grundsätzlich waren wir zufrieden, 5 Sterne wie an der Rezeption werden es nicht gerade sein, das Personal ist teilweise offenbar nicht aus der Gastronomie ( :-o ). Wichtig: Ein Zimmer mit Flußblick heißt NICHT, daß man Westminster Palace vom Zimmer aus sieht (eher eine öde Überraschung), Frühstück am Zimmer ist absolut NICHT ratsam. Alles in allem aber war es ok, ob es das geforderte Geld wert ist, bin ich mir auch nicht wirklich sicher. Die Küche (Abendessen) war wirklich ausgezeichnet, Weine gibts in Österreich bessere, das Frühstück war ok.

God service ! Stort rom, også til 3 personer som vi var. Hotellets beliggenhet var helt topp ift. severdigheter.

Det beste hotellet vi har bodd på i London, og servicen var upåklagelig. Flott hotellbar, restaurant med meget god mat, nydelige & store rom og perfekt service. Må oppleves. Vi skal tilbake. Hilsen familie på fire.

Vi Var to voksne og to barn som hadde 4 gode netter på hotellet. Fint og reint. Nært til London Eye og byen ellers uten å være midt i sentrum. Kjekt med Thamesen rett utenfor. Kanskje mest fantastisk var fassilitetene med kjøkkenkroken. Vi spiste frokost på rommet og syntes det var veldig greit.

Fine lokaler, hyggelige og behjelpelige ansatte. Men champagneglassene på rommet var en smule skittene, og alt så ut til å koste penger i tillegg til romkostnaden. Som de fleste TVkanalene, minibaren var veldig dyr o.l
