Nice hotel, friendly staff, and a nice hotel bar

The Residence Inn by Marriott Baltimore Inner Harbor is a wonderful place to stay. I frequent Baltimore & this is my favorite. The rooms are spacious & you have the at home feel. The location is within walking distance of many popular tourist attractions.

Went with my daughter. Had great time. Used workout room, great breakfast, totally renovated and clean.

After reading some of the other reviews I was a bit worried about noise levels. A few facts: I'm a New Yorker, I had a corner room on the 11th floor, I love cities. I had an awesome stay at the Residence Inn: everyone was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and the room was fantastic (1 bedroom suite). There was no real street noise up on the 11th floor and I could even see the harbor from my room.

Very nice room. Like that all rooms are suites. Full breakfast a plus. Did not like having to pay $32. to park per day.

We live in Baltimore, and were able to reserve a room for a one night stay for our anniversary. So we did not need a lot of the amenities, but for someone coming from out of town for a longer stay it was a very nice room with small kitchenette. The free breakfast was excellent. As a Baltimore resident I would advise that you know where you are going when you leave the hotel, and stay on the main cross streets in the downtown Harbor area.

Very nice hotel room. Quiet. Good neighborhood. Parking attendant was helpful when he recommended cheaper parking by the hotel. We were there for less than 12 hours and didn't want to pay approx. $30+ for hotel parking. Also, great breakfast! Warm foods, healthy choices, and good variety.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. Break fast was excellent. Location is good and close to inner harbor. will stay there again.

This Marriott was very disappointing. I did not realize that there were several others in the area. I called the front desk 3 times to get an extra towel (there were 3 of us and 2 towels). Outside the door there were always homeless people who were very aggressive. I had given this one man some money and he proceeded to follow us for about a block with his hand on my back. Very intimidating area. Next time I would stay closer to the Harbor.

This hotel was just wonderful. It was a pre cruise stay. Hotel was clean, rooms very spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Location great in the inner harbor area. Would recommend and stay at this hotel again. Plenty of shopping and resturaunts close. Staff was helpful and professional.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The service was great. I liked the den. The hallway was nicely decorated for the Christmas season.The breakfast food was fabulous. The staff showed respect and answered all our questions. It is a beautiful hotel. The exercise room was good. The stationery bicycle needs some straps on the pedals. The view was wonderful wherever you stayed.

A very short walk from the Inner Harbor, this is a great hotel. We only stayed for one night but had absolutely no complaints - friendly staff, good rooms and a delicious breakfast.

The staff and facilities were eceptional. Had a wonderful time, close to everything. Highly recommend anyone and everyone to stay here.

The hotel was very clean with great service. We only stayed one night and were sad to leave. The neighborhood was clean and safe and within walking distance to the inner harbor, federal hill and other attractions, and close to many restaurants and bars. Breakfast is included and is very good. Only recommendation is that you park your car in the garage across the street as it was significantly cheaper than using the hotels valet service.

as other people say you can hear noise from the street at nigh but is Baltimore a very busy city! nice hotel, big rooms, no pool, kitchen had everything necessary if you want to cook. good location a few blocks away from the aquarium. I use the valet parking it was 32$ oh well

I stayed in this hotel for four days while completing a Certification training. The room was downright spacious, the staff accomodating, and it was close to all the shops and restaurants in the Harbor.

This past week, I attended a conference at the convention center. Because I knew that some sessions would be getting out later in the evening, I was looking for a hotel that was located just a short distance away. The Residence Inn was just a hop, skip and a jump from the convention center, and is located in a fairly active part of town. The service was great, and the suites were very nice. The bed was a bit on the firm side, but not a deal breaker. I think the rate was a bit pricey, but it is comparable to other hotels in the area. On a related note, there is a light rail service that you can take from the airport to the convention center stop for less than $2 each way. With this hotel being so close to the convention center, that is a viable option for transportation if you choose to stay there.

I came to Baltimore for the half marathon last weekend and stayed in a studio suite with my family - 4 people total. The room was spacious and comfortable. My main complaint would be the noise level. This may have been a factor of staying on the 2nd floor, but we all had trouble sleeping due to noise in the streets such as people yelling, sirens going off, etc.

Very nice, well equipped one bedroom suites. Located close to Inner Harbour and the sports stadiums, which for us was important coming out of the JETS game at midnight. We've stayed there before and will definitely do so again.

Some friends and myself took in a baseball games, as well as some sight seeing to celebrate one of us getting married. The hotel was great and served up great memories for all of us. I enjoyed it so much that I plan visiting again in a few months with my Wife to celebrate our Anniversary.

frount dest staff were extreamily helpfull, only complaint is parking took a wile to get my car

Very nice hotel - not fancy - but spacious rooms, nice employees, rich breakfast, manager's receptions, complementary Wi-Fi and all for very little money in a number one location in Baltimore. As good as it get's with respect to price/value! Will come back!

I was so pleasantly surprised with the room, it had so many features that I did not expect, three room was immaculate and the staff was gracious! When I plan another trip to Baltimore th this will be my hotel of choice and I will bring groceries to take advantage of the full kitchen! Thanks again!!

Far more than what I expected. Spacious, clean, great staff everywhere you turn, clean and within walking distance of so many things to do and see... I am not saying this is fancy or honeymoon quality, but for a 2 night say it was affordable and perfect for what we needed out of a room for sleep, shower and shave... throw in free hot breakfast and the free hot food at the managers reception and its going to be tough to be what you get for what you pay... parking was $32.00 per day, even though there were several different public parking garages with in 2 blocks that were only $9.00 per day.

Upon discovering that I had left behind jewelry that I valued, I immediately called the hotel to report my loss. I was referred to housekeeping with whom I played "phone tag" for 1 week. However, all said and done, I received my jewelry, every piece, in a timely manner, withing 2 days after I spoke to housekeeping. My faith in honesty has been established with this hotel.

For the price, this hotel is well situated, convenient, and well maintained. Our room had a sitting area, kitchen and 2 queen beds. My only disappoint was I thought the beds would be segregated from the tv area. But all in all, a good experience.

The hotel was located a few blocks from the inner harbor. Nice price for this level of hotel and convenience. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and shower was good too! Staff was friendly and helpful. Park accross the street and save $12/day. i would recommend to anyone.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Residence. The hotel staff couldn't have been nicer - from the desk clerks to the valet service. It's a lovely and well maintained hotel. Rooms are spacious, updated and clean, but it's the staff that made it memorable.

Room was spacious with stove-top, microwave, full-sized refrigerator and dishes. The kitchen accommodations along with the free breakfast saved me a lot of money on eating. The staff was friendly, as they acknowledged me every time I passed the front desk. The best part of the hotel was how quiet it was, a must for a positive review. I couldn't ask for a better stay.

I was very please with the stay. Room was very large, clean, and only 3 blocks from harbor.

This was a great hotel and the suite was very clean and comfortable. The staff was so nice. Breakfast was yummy. We enjoyed staying there and it was close to the Inner Harbor and all the attractions we were taking our grandson to see.

Stayed here over Fourth of July weekend 2011. Location was very convenient to all Inner Harbor points of interest. Everything within walking distance. Did not like the fact that small dogs were down the hall and barking all the time. Trash trucks picking up at 6:30 AM were exceptionally noisy. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing, runny eggs, corn beef hash and all. A couple employees were very helpful but the manager was not. Room was comfortable and OK except for the dirty silverware in the drawer. Neighborhood was depressing. Would definitely NOT stay here again.

Easy walking distance to the ballpark,water taxi and all harbor attractions. The room was actually nicer than we expected. Overall it was a great choice considering that we did not want to pay for a higher price waterfront room.

My wife and I stayed at the Residence Inn for one night and were totally surprised. The hotel is off the beaten path, but close to the Inner Harbor. The hotel staff was very helpful and the room was fantastic. My only issue was the bed, I wish it could've been a little softer.

I expected that the quality of the room and the maintainence would be exceptional, it is a marriot afterall. What I did not expect was the amount of times the staff gladly went to my car to retrive items that I needed for my stay. What I also did not expect was the honesty and timely manner in which my wallet was mailed to my home after I forgot it in the room......money, credit card and all. WOW... The surrounding neighborhood is "Baltimore", need I say more..But despite the obvious, it is walking distance from thr harber, shopping and dining...I would reccomend this gem and stay there again in the future...

The room was very nice, although the couch was a little hard. It was great that the harbor was just a couple blocks away. We used the valet service which was nice...just dropped the car off and left it there for our entire stay. The hotel is in a good location. Their free breakfast was good too!

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend at the hotel and had a great time. We chose to use the valet service at the hotel instead of the nearby parking garage and I believe we made the right choice. The valets had the car in front of the hotel within 10-15 minutes of calling and on our last day they loaded our bags in the car while we were eating breakfast. We got the suite with a kitchen and it was great. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was the smell. It was wonderful. I spent time searching for the source but could never locate it.

Very nice room, great continental breakfast, moderate price and great location. Staff was very nice, professional and helpful. Whenever I go to Baltimore, I will stay here and I will certainly recommend to my friends.

It took me awhile to decide where to stay while I was in Baltimore, I was to attend a conference at the Convention Center. I kept figuring out how far away the hotels were from the Convention Center, but yet close enough that I could get in some sight-seeing. Finally, I decided on the Residence Inn due to the hot complimentary breakfast in the morning, the bar/restaurant within, pictures of the rooms, and proximity to the Inner Harbor. I had an excellent stay, the Inner Harbor was an easy 3 block walk from the hotel and the Convention Center was a 10-15 minute walk depending on the lights at intersections. As with any big city, there were a few pan handlers around, but they mainly hung around the 7-11 across the street from the hotel and could be avoided for the most part. Baltimore has a free bus system called the Charm City Circulator, the north-south run has a pick up just across the street north of the hotel and the east-west run is about a block from the hotel. The buses are very clean, I was extremely impressed for a free bus ride! This hotel is a great location for business and pleasure! Upon arrival to the hotel, we were greeted by the valets and our bags were promptly removed from the cab. The valets always had a smile on their face and greeted you whether you were leaving or arriving to the hotel. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was great - everything in the kitchen are was clean, the bathroom was spacious (the hair dryer is a typical hotel hair dryer, compact/travel size, it was in a drawer in the bathroom and not hanging on the wall, which I kind of liked). Towels were decent, on par with most other hotels I have stayed at. The hot breakfast was good, always scrambled eggs with 3-4 other items rotating, usually Turkey Canadian Bacon, sausage patties, bite-sized hash browns. Other items available: make your own waffles, cold cereal, toast, yogurts, oatmeal, grits, etc. Iced tea, juice, coffee, soda, and milk all availa
