The Pierre, A Taj Hotel - نيويورك

Booked here when coming up to NY for a performance at the Metropolitan Opera. The facilities were clean and well maintained, the staff was courteous and very helpful. The concierge was very knowledgable and helpful in finding a restaurant for dinner that fit our desires, and in recommending a nice cafe for breakfast the next morning. All in all a wonderful experience, I will definitely be returning there the next time I go to NY.

A fantastic hotel with excellent personal service, great location and rooms with very good standard. Me and my wife had a very good time during a short week-end staying at this hotel. Worth every penny!

One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had from start to finish. If you can afford it, you need look no further.

Incredible three days, in spite of being in one of the most simple rooms. I have found my hotel for future trips to NYC. If you can afford it, don't doubt ot.

Amazing grand old hotel. Very friendly staff, quality service. Though $17 for a bowl of cereal is a little much. So lots of excellent restaurants within a 2 block radius that don't break the bank.

I spend much of my life traveling for work so when it comes time to travel for pleasure I am very picky. I don't want the experience to be more work than fun and I definitely want it to be quiet and relaxing. So for the past two years we have chosen the Pierre Hotel to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend, staying for three nights each time. It was incredibly romantic. We LOVE the Pierre! Everything about it - the location (right on Central Park and walking distance to Broadway and Times Square, etc.), the hotel itself (the quietest I've ever stayed in in NYC) and, especially, the wonderful staff (many of whom recognized us this year from last). We even got engaged there at this time with the entire staff cheering around us at high tea! It was fantastic! The Pierre provides that rare combination of a luxury hotel without the attitude. The staff is unanimously fun and friendly and incredibly helpful. After twenty years of traveling the world, I can say without hesitation that the Pierre is my favorite hotel. It is worth the money!

This was my first time there and my wife and I simply loved it! A Central Park view, wow!!

The Pierre was a wonderful hotel. The staff was the best I have ever encountered...friendly, accomodating, talkative. Room was extremely clean, cool (88 degree temps outside), and comfortable. Prices for room service were a little steep so we didn't take advantage of that...my husband was disappointed to not have a coffee maker in the room. Overall, couldn't ask for anything better. You could walk out the door and cross the street to Central Park or walk down the street to the beautiful shops.

The Hotel Pierre was everything a 5 star hotel should be: friendly staff, beautiful hotel, great location. We could not have asked for more - what a wonderful weekend in NY with the Hotel Pierre as our base. Would definitely come back to the Pierre.

From the moment we arrived at the Pierre we were taken care of in the best possible way. The staff were absolutely stellar, making our stay truly memorable. We even received a surprise cake in our room to commemorate our anniversary. Thank you Pierre!

This is a world class 5 starr hotel, yes its exspensive but it's money well spent as it's worth it to be guaranteed a fantastic experience. The location, staff and accomodations are world class.

In the same time it took the neighboring Plaza to lose its grandeur, the Pierre reclaimed its position as one of New York City's finest hotels. From the staff at the front desk to the nicely appointed rooms and baths, this hotel is everything you would expect in a top hotel: aesthetically pleasing, service-focused and understated.

The Service, Friendliness of the staff, and Location - across the street from Central Park on 5th Avenue - were unbeatable. Very nice room, as well. Everything was First Class.

I would rate this hotel way above excellent. Apart from all the obvious comforts one would expect in a hotel of this calibre, the staff set it apart. EVERY and I do mean EVERY member of staff from the doorman on arrival and throughout the stay, was absolutely 101% on the job. They were interested and engaged in their work and although I was a female travelling on this trip on my own, my stay was personal, comfortable, and a feeling of caring evidenced throughout. So much so that I even ate in the Bar by myself which often times is not a nice thing to do in the best of places. It was a relaxed experience and so much nicer than eating in my room. The room was top notch in comfort and as a designer myself, whoever it was that designed the room and bathroom really knows their stuff. The colouring not merely beige! But soft and mellow. The bathroom exceptionally well thought out. The bed so comfortable I did not want to get up! I would rate The Pierre by far and away the best hotel experience I have had and not only in NY. Although a large hotel, it felt hugely personal and the location is perfect right by Central Park and behind Barneys! Say not more!! Will not hesitate to return to this hotel and indeed was very loathe to leave and continue my journey! Top top notch experience. I thank them all.

My stay at the Pierre was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bedding was extremely comfortable. The air temp was easy to regulate and remained very cool even in extreme outdoor heat wave.All amnenities were as expected and very helpful staff. I would highly reccommend the hotel. I only wish the hot water was a bit hotter.

The Pierre exceeded our expectations. Our experience was most enjoyable in every aspect. Highly recommend.

When I first entered the hotel I was disappointed as I expected to see a new and a grand facility. The room for the price was small but then again seems like everything in NYC is small compared to Texas. However the location cannot be beat and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in any hotel.On the checkout there was confusion and they couldnt find our bags and it took the bellboy at least 15 minutes to find the baggage.

The room was a little smaller than I hoped it would be for the money but elegant and well kept. Room service was quite good although with several mistakes they had to return two more times to correct. Overall I would stay there again. It was quite nice.

Very nice and staff was great. Wish my room had been ready earlier. I will go back

Tout simplement parfait.

出張で数泊。中層階、シティビューの部屋。50㎡程度（？）とちょっと狭め。リクエストどおりのキングサイズベッドは快適。バスルーム狭く、特にトイレと洗面台近すぎ。直してはあるが、いかんせん建物古くドアにも大きな隙間、隣の気配もよく伝わる。日経は別料金、朝食もメインダイニングで別料金。 見るところかなりのunderstaffing。到着時にドアマン居らず、ドライバー呼びにやる。ドアマンとベルマンとの連携もなく、荷物はレセプションに放置。所詮ピギーゆえ面倒なので自分で転がして部屋へ。レセプションの慇懃な対応は昔どおり、またエレベーターを人が操作するあたりも変わらず。但し、bultlerっぽい爺さまやいかにものboy君からfriendlyな兄さん、オリエンタルな姉さんに代わり、かつてのエレガンスとディシプリンはno longer seen. 翌日買い物から帰り、ホテルに到着。ドアマンすかさず、荷物を車から降ろしたところまではよし。部屋に戻ると電話、曰く「ベルマンが忙しく荷物はちょっと待ってもらいたし」。平日午後３時で混む頃合いになく、到着時といい今日といいベルマンは何人も居ない???　Good newsは週末。「小一時間外出するので、部屋の掃除とベッドメイクをお願いしたい」。これにはキッチリ対応。 聞けば2005年にフォーシーズンズからタージにオペレータが変更となった由。コストカットとベテランスタッフの退職が進んだ感あり。またTV、ネット環境も調子は今一つ。ちなみにネットは別料金。また外出を苦にしなければ敢えて選択する意義は少ないが、ルームサービス、メインダイニングとも食事の質はまあまあ。コンシェルジェの威力は定評あり、一部に残るスタッフに負けないくらいエレガントに滞在出来るほどのディープポケットで高層階の広い部屋にゆったり連泊する旅路ならかなり使いでがあるのかもしれません。　 私のような普通のビジネスマンの短期出張には???

Vue féerique avec les chambres sur Central Park Service parfait Seul Hic On paye la Wi-Fi

4回目のNYで7泊しました。 今回は仕事と主に美術＆ミュージカル鑑賞でしたが、全てにおいてのアクセスも問題なく、スタッフ特にホテルの顔のドアマン達が素晴らしい。 特筆すべきはベッドの寝心地の良さと他の宿泊客の雰囲気。 個人的には、お向かいの最近のプラザより良い気がします。

12年ぶりのニューヨーク、今回はオペラ三昧で過ごすのを主な目的として思い立ったものの、高齢でもあるので、落ち着いた雰囲気、清潔感、セキュリティの充実を特に重視してホテル選びをした。結果は期待に違わずすべての面で不満なく、快適な7泊の滞在だった。 部屋は、このホテルでこそのPark View Roomを日本で予約、その際その中でもなるべく眺望のよい高層階にという希望を付しておいたが、到着後チェックインして案内された部屋は正に高層階で大きな窓からセントラルパークの全景を見下ろすことができ、シックな内装で広さも十分、またバスルームも清潔でアメニティも整っており、一見して気に入って即座にOKを出した。 室数189という中規模のホテルながら、常時館内の到る所にスタッフが配置されているほか、ゲスト用のエレベーター（4基）には早朝深夜を問わず必ず乗務員が乗り合せてくれるというセキュリティの良さに感心、滞在中終始安心感があった。 スタッフは一様にフレンドリーで不快な思いをすることは 全く無かった。ただし日本語を話せる従業員はおらず、日本人向けの特別なサービスや配慮もない。この点はふだんから日本人客が少いせいでもあろうと推察した。 現に、滞在中エレベーター乗務員に中国系の女性がいて言葉を交わしたほかに、日本人もその他の東洋人も見かけることはなかった。また、特にコンシェルジュの対応には感心、レストランなどの予約をまとめて頼んだが、実に親切に応じてくれ、しかも行く先々で良い席が確保されていたのには驚きでもあった。 部屋には大画面の壁掛けテレビがあり、リモコンでNHK番組を選んで視聴することができ、またDVDプレイヤーの備付けもあった。ミニバー・冷蔵庫あり、その中には客用のスペースがあって外で買って来た飲料3～4本を入れて置くこともできた。唯一、湯沸かし器が無いのに気付いたが、電話をしたら直ぐにケトルとカップ類を届けてくれ、日本茶などを楽しんだ。 毎日朝晩2回、不在中のルームキーピングで部屋、ベッドはきれいに保たれ、夜帰ると翌日の天気予報カードがいつも枕元に置かれていた。チェックイン時に希望した朝日新聞（朝刊）も毎日届き読むことができた（ただしこれは有料）。 １階にある「ル･カプリース」というレストランで朝食３回、夕食を１回、また「２ E」というバー･ラウンジで夜１度ワインを楽しんだ。どちらも美味しくて値段もリーズナブルだった。ただ、周りを見渡すと皆上品でセレブ風な人たちばかり、それなりにウェイターの態度もきちんとしていたように思う。 昼間は美術館めぐり、夜はオペラとミュージカルで明け暮れ、あっという間の8日間であった。館内にいくつものショップがある大ホテルではなく、華美さもないので若い人には不向きだろうが、高齢の私にはこのホテルは最適だったと思う。滞在中不満や不足を感じるところが全く無く、少々値段は張るけどその価値は十分にあると思われ、またいくつかの著名の高級ホテルと比べてもリーズナブルな価格だった点もよかった。 今後ニューヨークを再訪する機会に恵まれたら、是非此処に滞在したいと思う。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　以上

Situation: Central Park est de l'autre côté de l'avenue (5th avenue) les musées et les magasins de luxe à proximité.Station de métro à 2 rues Tout est parfait dans l'hotel et la chambre (propreté, mobilier, Salle de bains...) Confort 4/5 car léger bruit de climatisation ou autre bien que celle de la chambre arrêtée. Ceci est toujours le cas dans un hotel aux USA et le niveau de bruit du Pierre est vraiment très faible. L'écran plat fixé au mur de cette chambre n'est pas parfaitement horizontal (écart 2 cm) Literie excellente Accueil et sécurité: parfait Un hotel où on aimerai revenir!
