The front desk people were very helpful. Unfortunately, there are no good restaurants within easy walking distance, and some nights I'm just too tired to cook. My only complaint about the hotel is that some of the public areas (hallways, lobby) aren't vacuumed often enough, which makes an otherwise pleasant hotel look a bit shabby. The rooms, however, are very clean, which I guess is more important.

Quiet, clean, and affordable. I would stay again.

I enjoyed my stay there. People where nice, room was clean. They have a nice park in the neighbourhood. From other side it is far from grocery stores, it is better to have a car, otherwise you will have to travel by bus. They didn't have tablespoons in the room, and I had to excenge the cooking pot, because it wasn't clean enough. I also bought dishsoap and sponges to do the dishes. You can't watch TV from your bed unless you move TV stand.

If you need to have a room with a little kitchen as we did for dietary reasons, then this hotel does just fine. While not as luxurious as a Marriott Residence Inn, for instance, the Extended Stay is clean and adequate.This hotel really stands out in terms of service though. The staff could not be nicer or friendlier... they go above and beyond to please.

This hotel offered the best rates in the area, but its location-- buried in hundreds of acres of office park with somewhat mazelike streets-- make it time-consuming and challenging to find, even in broad daylight. (Who imagined that 4th Ave would be AT A RIGHT ANGLE to 3rd Ave? Pay close attention to Google Maps to make sure you're turning into the right street in the first place.) Another caveat: the included "breakfast" is about as minimal as it gets-- think pre-packaged muffins and Coffee-Mate. (What's IN that stuff, anyway?) That said, the room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen is bound to prove handy for those who actually are staying a while (I was only there overnight.) Another plus is the close proximity of one of the best places for dinner in town, Naked Fish.

Although the hotel was in quite a bit of disarray due to it being renovated, my room, which had been completed, was much nicer than during previous stays. The bedding was new; the flat screen TV was much larger than the old TVs, and it appeared that pretty much everything had been replaced. I'd definitely stay here in the future.

The hotel is right off of I-95 / Route 128 on the outskirts of Boston. Close to the Mass Pike and public transportation. The room included a work desk, sofa and kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. The only negative was that the toilet was very low, which may make it difficult for some to get up from. Overall, very nice and a quiet location.

The place was clean, quiet and private. The best part for me is that there was a fully equiped kitchen where I could cook my own food since I have a hard time eating out due to food allergies. It was the perfect settings for me.

Clean, comfortable rooms with easy access to downtown Boston. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful - would definitely stay here again!!!

The quality of service of the hotel was very poorly especially in cleanliness in our room , and also the customer service on the desk.

My review of my one night stay is definitely "mixed". It's a shame that I have to give a "2" for the cleanliness of the room. I actually thought the bathroom was "very clean" and the rest of the room was "fine". However, as I was exiting the bathroom I could see a beige blob under the bed. It turned out to be a half-eaten dinner roll. I disposed of it, but it was a turn off. Regarding the comfort of the room, I was very disappointed that MSNBC was not on the TV channel line up. I was annoyed that FOX and CNN were available but not even a regular NBC channel was available. A screen message indicated that the regular NBC would be available in the future. But no MSNBC. And CNBC is a financial network., not something I'm interested in. I did use the lobby restroom which was in good condition and the grade of the coffee at the AM "grab and go" was quite good.

Staff was friendly. Maid service was non-exsistant. Stayed for 10 days and had maid service one time.

Clean rooms. Pets allowed for a fee. Not pet catered though. Not hotel-style service by any means.... Do it yourself! Only noisy elliptical, treadmill and recumbent bike in workout room. Nice staff, just not hotel-type service. You're on your own! Josh, their maintenance guy, has excellent customer service. Located off highway, not convenient to walking to restaurants or shops. Outdoor pool was nice. Lots of parking. Comfy bed. Clientele were decent.

The price was right but my gosh the room smelt bad. Not sure if it was cleaning products they were using or if the room I was in had smokers before me, but the smell hit you hard when you entered the room, but somehow I got used to it. The stay there was good, if you take away the bad smelling room!!

Good stay

Not bad. The sofa bed in my #209 room, was tough on my lower back. But besides that, everything was good.

We stayed here because our usual hotels were booked or very high priced the weekend of Boston Marathon. Staff at front desk was ok. Walking into room, there was broken and open switchplate near door with wires showing. Bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned, and towels were thin and hard. Bed was saggy and whole room looked like ti needed an update. There was a kitchen as advertised, but we really didn't need it. Breakfast was not advertised with good reason. They had wrapped bagels and banana nut muffins, period. Coffee and some fresh fruit, including rock hard pears. Almost no room to sit. There are better hotels right in the area.

i was not satisfied. dirty elevators and room. we were planning to stay at many hotel. i should be reiumbursed for this stay else i wont use hotels.coml

This hotel is located in a business park in Waltham. Pretty close to Boston. No frills. You get what you pay for.

Stayed at the Embassy Suites in Waltham, MA while visiting family in the Boston area. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff was helpful and courtesy. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and a big plus. Loved the fact that COSTCO was next door and the fact that the hotel is right on Route 128/I-95. We were able to easily get to our relatives homes who live in various cities in the metropolitan Boston area. High recommend this hotel.

Its absolutely great. Nice and clean, basic hotel. I did have a suite but it was all good

Cheap rate close to boston

We have stayed there several times the first two times the folks were friendly and effective. This last time the folks could not help us with the tv or the heating and cooling. Neither worker right.

The room was fine and clean. The staff is very friendly. My only complaint was that the laundry was filthy. I didn't even want to use it, so I went downtown to the laudromat instead.

The hotel was old, outdated and smelled like stale smoke. Our sheets smelled like smoke in our non-smoking room. There were exposed wires from a missing outlet. The bathroom is very old. There is no shampoo and just a small bar of soap provided. I will not be returning.

This was a nice hotel... nothing too special about it, but it was nice and comfortable. The hotel staff could probably use a few lessons in dealing with unhappy customers, but treated me just fine. I like that it is right off the highway which made our trip to BOS a easier the next morning.

These rooms have a 2-burner oven, coffee maker, microwave, kitchen sink with garbage disposal, full-sized fridge, couch, desk, TV, iron, and bed. They are built for week long stays, and have everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The only problem is that you have to drive 30 minutes from this hotel to get to Boston.

The hotel sits smack in the middle of a suburban highway wasteland (forget about walking anywhere), but not far by car from downtown Waltham, Boston or several universities. Also, the price was right (relative to better hotels) but the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. There were crumbs in the pullout sofa & crumbs & pills of some sort underneath. What's more, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable.... The entrance to the hotel was dreary & looked like a housing project. Ditto for the breakfast lounge. This is probably what hotels in the Soviet Union looked like, but that's really just a matter of taste. For being the cheapest hotel I could find on the holiday weekend, it was fine & served its purpose.

I was not impressed with this hotel. Our initial room (non-smoking) smelled like an ashtray and then we were assigned a different room. The room smelled and the bed was not very comfortable. The front desk person was nice but the rest of the staff was unwilling to help us with our room. The location is nice, but my advice would be to stay at the Homestead hotel (which is not very nice either, but cheaper) if you insist on staying at Waltham. Pros: Cheap Close to Boston Cons: Smelly Rooms Bad Beds Very few amenities (like shampoo).

A cheap decent hotel that is close to the city. It is about a 20 minute drive to get into boston proper. one complaint was that there were several cigarette burns in the bed spread. that was somewhat disgusting. hotel suited the purpose for the right price though
