Absolutely Horrible: Dirty Sheets, dirty walls, dirty mattress, dirty hotel in general. Lobby bathroom was disgusting. Entire hotel smelled. Customer support at Hotel was horrible. I ended up going next door and paying double for the next 2 nights of stay. Do not go here if possible

The hotel was dirty. They came around and knocked on our door at 10:55 asking us to leave. They wouldnt give us a late check out. Other hotels do. Couldn't hardly understand them. Hallway was dirty. Pop machine was kicked in. Outside was dirty. They were very rude. I will never stay there again.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in

So dirty. Holes in walls. Wouldn't go back.

This hotel was AWFUL! We stayed there overnight on a long trip. We got there late at night and just wanted to get a good night's sleep. When we got to our room, the bed was smaller than had been stated. It was clearly a room that USED to have 2 double beds in it, but one was taken out. The reason that was obvious is because the wall was still marked up as if someone had litterally just ripped the bed out of the wall. So then the remaining bed wasn't even centered in the room. It was all the way to one side which made the room look weird. The bed was VERY uncomfortable, the room smelled bad, and even being on the second floor, it was VERY VERY noisy. The bathroom looked like it hadn't had a good cleaning in months. I'm sure it had been wiped down quickly, but nowhere near as clean as it should be. We make this trip frequently and will never stay there again. We found a MUCH better hotel for the same price across the street.

I did not have one problem with this hotel. the check in process was quick even tho there was a line and only one person at the front desk. it was clean, everything worked and for the most part quiet. i would stay again.

Very disappointed hotel room very unclean shower looked so bad afraid to take shower,heater was dirty not clean in long time.grounds around hotel very cluttered with trash very unkempt. Would not go there again or reccomend.Help paid more attention to their phone calls than the guest.Very short with guest

The staff was rude and the hotel smelled like a gym locker. Don't waste your money at Days Inn.

THE ROOM WAS VERY OLD AND DINGY. THERE WERE ABOUT 50 HOLES IN THE CEILING MAKING ME WONDER. THE BED HAD CRUMBS ON THE SHEETS. THE ROOM SMELLED LUCKILY I BROUGHT AIR FRESHNER AND A CANDLE. THERE WAS NO WAY I WAS TAKING A SHOWER THERE. LUCKLY I ONLY NEED THE ROOM TO SLEEP FOR A COUPLE HOURS. I WILL NEVER STAY AT A DAYS INN AGAIN.

For the most part our stay was okay. We had to call the front desk for small things like an iron for the ironing board already in our room. The continental breakfast was supposed to be served until 10am but, arriving at 9:30 we were evidently to late. Upon arriving my boyfriend quickly noticed the waffle machine was being taken down. He politely asked the young woman removing all of the supplies what time the breakfast ended and she stated "10 o'clock" in a not so pleasant tone. He then stated it was only 9:30 and she rudely said "Well if it's that big of a deal to you then fine, I will take everything back out!" My boyfriend, holding back his tone said "Thank you" with a smile. We quickly ate our breakfast at a little side table as signs posted in numerous locations stated absolutely no food was to be taken back to our room. Aside from this and some rather ruff looking patrons returning from the attached bar of the hotel our stay was pleasant. Will we return to this hotel? Absolutely not. I have been a bartender and restaurant manager for the past 7 years. The customer service was absolutely poor to say the least.

Hotel needs work on outside apperance. Outside door did not work properly. Rooms were very clean and well kept. I will stay there again next time I am in Columbus.

While this was an older hotel,it was well kept and clean.the room was spotless but somewhat dated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.. it was an excellent value and clean, so any age on the hotel can easily be overlooked.

Stayed there just one day. The rooms kinda had a funny smell and the air conditioner was loud. The beds were comfortable although the top blanket had a quarter size burn make. Great surrounding are with lots of places to eat near by. Would stay again if only a stop to rest

The hotel was not at all what was portrayed in the pictures on the interent. The entrance we were to use to get to our room was propped open with a rock. The hotel is right next to a bar ......not a nice social bar. There was a fight in the parking lot when we returning to our room. Serious security issues. Room was not clean. I just wanted a cup of coffee the next morning before checkout .......breakfast items were being taken away 30 minutes before breakfast was to end.....just a disappointing expereience.

We were not told were are room was just was handed a key with a number on it. Was not happy to see a sign on the desk when we checked in the the pool was already closed for the year . I think that should be told to you at the time of booking.

Wish you had a elevator or someone to offer to help carry my bags up stairs. It was very hard to do it by myself.

Overall this hotel needs maintenance. My first room smelled so bad and had dirt in the bathroom. Second room the toilet did not work right

i booked 2 rooms one had been re done the other needed to be up dated

1st when arriving we were greeted by two children, no adults were around so that was kind of awkward. The children were knowlegable however on how to check us into our hotels. The pool didn't seem to be well kept, it could have been cleaner. The bar at the hotel is no longer operational which was a huge let down for us. This was one of the main reasons for choicing this hotel. The rooms were cleaned, but the blankets had cigarette burns all over them. The smell of the room was not very pleasant either.

Hotel is old and needs a lot of updating, including matresses and bathroom fixtures. The room air conditioner was extremely loud. The outdoor pool was not open during the stated hours, which was a big disappointment to our kids. Cleanliness was average at best.

First night a bunch cops showed up when someone pulled a gun at the attatched club. Also driveway was hard to find behind the wafflehouse not going there again

Room was very large, clean and comfortable. This is not a luxury hotel, nor was it billed as one - perfect for our needs.

I booked a "double" assuming this meant there would be two double beds, as is the case with most hotels. Upon arrival, I was informed that the room contained one double bed; inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. When we got to the room, the smell of stale cigarette smoke was overwhelming despite the "no smoking" placks displayed in the hall and in the room. Even the pillows were saturated with the smell. It was also somewhat disturbing that the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling. In the morning we discovered that the water in the shower was nice and hot but unfortunately the tub did not drain. In fact, the water was still draining when we left the room 30 minutes after showering. When we arrived back home on Friday night, i noticed that I had forgotten my pajamas in the room. After three calls to the front desk, I was informed that housekeeping had found my pajamas but they could not mail them back to me unless I sent them a money order or gave them a credit card number. Not the level of customer service I would expect at all.

When we visit Columbus, Days Inn on Stringtown Road is always our first choice. Though the facility is a little dated, the rooms are kept very clean by a hardworking and friendly housekeeping staff. We always travel on a budget, so the low price AND free hot breakfast (delicious waffles!) served from 6-10 meets our needs and allows us to be flexible around each itinerary. The refrigerator in the room is very convenient, although lack of microwave is a little strange--but if you need to heat up anything, the front lobby has a microwave accessible at all times. The in-room coffee allows for one cup of regular and one cup of decaf, so if you want more or your spouse wants some, you'll have to catch the breakfast hours, where the selection is much better. The hotel wings are spread out far from the lobby, which as parents of young children is favorable to us as it mitigates noise, but to walk to breakfast from the furthest wing is also lengthy. We've always been on the first floor but I can't say I've ever seen an elevator in the facility. Again, it's a little dated, but still very comfortable (I say this as very pregnant woman who finds comfort is often fleeting!). We always have ample room in each room we've stayed in for the pack & play for our younger child and most recently the cot for our toddler. The towels are nothing commendable; they are on the small side, but they are always clean and plentiful. The front desk staff are pleasant and accommodating. Also, on another kid-related note: the televisions here do not have the capability to run a movie from your personal dvd player. (They have the cables, but the remotes only have four buttons and would require remotes with numbers to get to the needed menus.) The hotel property is in a nice area and proximal to a wealth of restaurants, from business casual/semi-high end to family friendly to takeouts and drive-thrus. The location was absolutely perfect for us, but the hotel was fairly outdated and we experienced a problem with ants in the room (yuck!) upon arrival and they continued through the duration of the stay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. There were a number of empty tractor trailer cabs parked around the parking lot the entire weekend and there were even some people that appeared to be trailer-hauling a number of cars and they were working on repairing their deplorable condition in the parking lot. The place was quiet though at night time and no one bothered us or our things while we were there. Like I stated before, it's a great, convenient location if they would just update some and clean better.

I would not say this is the 4 Seasons or anything close but it did the job. The lady at the front desk was friendly and the room and bed were comfortable and clean. Thanks Days Inn

The Inn seemed to be in need of some tender loving care. Rooms were clean! Pool area was impeccable. We were close to freeway.

After reading other reviews I had expected the motel to be a little run down and dated. The check in went smoothly, girl at counter was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and air conditioner worked great. Would choose this motel again. Great motel for the price.

The person at the front desk tried to argue with me and give me a smoking room when I clearly had requested a non smoking room. I even showed her the confromation email and she still told me I was wrong. The place was dark, musty and the neighborhood questionable what with the car stereo booming at 2am. I won't be staying there again

alot of stores, restaurants, fast food rite there. hotel has a bar/club ( The Wet Bar) attached thats definatly conveinent as well and should be checked out after hours. friendly staff, live performances that put on a great lil show while i was there! Naturally Rollin Records!!! yyyyyeeeaaaaaa!!!

I would like to say that the rooms we ok but I think if you update the look of the rooms, it would make you feel more comfortable. The rooms need a little mor love to it, ie pictures, curtains, and bedding .But overall for the price it think it was ok, not a place that i would revisit unless it is a spare of the moment thing.

Piece of crap!!! Got a Non-Smoking room but the whole room smelled of smoke. Got woken up at 3:30AM due to very rude and ignorant people in next room, who apparently work for the hotel. Called the front desk which was no help what so ever. Ended up just leaving and driving home at 4:30 AM

Room was clean, pillows were big, bathroom was clean, large rooms. Breakfast was as expected cold items except waffle maker was make your own. Plenty of parking, and places to eat. Shopping less than a mile Wal-Mart, TJMaxx, etc Quite rooms, no eleveator, Staff needs to work on their english, We stayed there 3 nights and was just what we needed a clean safe place to stay. Older motel but clean. Easy to get to from downtown. Price was good for what you get. All kinds of places to eat from Mc Donalds to Applebees to Olive Garden. Bed was a little uncomfortable but the sheets and covers were clean. We had a non-smoking room and it did not have an oder.
