Clean,quality hotel. A bit remote but safe and easy transit to all Palermo sites. Good, cooperative and helpful staff. Eating places only average,and necessary to ask about "cover charge" prior to ordering. Memory of added. charges(coperto) not pleasant, so avoided repeat visits to those that do.Value for money was good. Hoping that at least some of the 15 other Accomodations measure up to this standard.

Great for the prive

The big plus is the free parking provided. However, you may not get a parking lot if you return late at night. I booked a double room, but was given a suite like room with separate living hall. It is a present surprise. The breakfast is quite standard. One consolation is that it comes with fresh fruits everyday. If you have a GPS navigator, it is quite easy to get to the hotel.

It has a really nice garden and a nice restaurant.

Hotel was difficult to find, though well signed when you get close to it. Located in a Northwest Palermo suburb, it is quick to get to the airport and the price is impossible to beat. Don't plan on eating in the neighborhood, though, as there are minimal amenities around the hotel. You will need to go back toward Palermo center to eat or see sights.

verry bad beds for the 2 adults

We picked this hotel for ease of access to the Palermo airport by car ... and indeed it was only 20 or so minutes away. The hotel was difficult to find (use GPS). Staff were helpful and cheerful and the grounds were well maintained. The room was ordinary and appeared a bit old, but reasonably clean. The TV tiny - but you're not on holiday to watch TV in your hotel room. Despite being "non-smoking" there was the smell of old smoke and an ash tray in the room. The breakfast was diappointing compared to others we had during our stay in Sicily. Overall, for convenience to the airport I'd stay here again. There was an excellent pizza place for dinner within walking distance - ask the reception staff for a map and advice.

We had the unfotunate experience of having a room at the hotel when youths were partipating in a sporting event. Because of the ways the rooms are distrubuted, there are several pods of about 8-10 rooms surrounding a common stairwell. As the stairwell and floors are all tile, sound travels very, very easily. The breakfast buffet was good and adequate and the staff was helpful.

The hotel is situated between Mondello and Palermo, both very easily accessible by car or bus, so it's an ideal location for anyone wanting to see both the city and its environs. Half an hour from the airport too. And the neighbourhood around the hotel is also fascinating--full of (mostly) crumbling Baroque villas, woods and parks.

the staff were very helpful and polite and gave us loads of good advice . the restraurant was fantasic and the garden was a nice place to relax

We chose this hotel for its location between Palermo and Mondello beach.10 Minute taxi to either, or a short walk to the bus (buy your tickets beforehand). Exceeded our expectations. Spacious clean comfortable rooms, relaxing garden area with free wifi, free off road parking (which is a must) and an amazing restaurant next door that looks like a small palace,serving excellent Sicilian cuisine,

The hotel gardens are worth the entire stay. Very nicely maintained and we spent the morning after in sun chairs in the garden reading a book and planning our day. Very nice. The room is basic but comfortable and to get into Palermo you just take a road running 200 meters from the hotel, say your prayers, and head into the traffic... So, convenient and good quality for the price. I would book this place again - for the gardens...

We stayed in this hotel September 2009 for one night at the end of the trip in Sicily before flying to Rome. Our flight to Rome was early morning , so we were looking for hotel with easy access to HWY to airport. This hotel served this function but I would not stay there more than one night... Hotel is located in a very busy place and it is extremely difficult to find it. We actually followed hotel sign and had to drive up the one way street in the wrong direction. Hotel stuff is disinterested and unhelpful but the perform basic functions. The hotel is gated and one need to request to open the door or gate each time both to enter and to exit. Inside hotel complex is a small nice garden that is very quite and pleasant. It is a apartment type/long stay hotel. The room is spartan with worn out furniture but reasonably clean

The Hotel Casena dei Colli was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The grounds are well-kept, and the hotel is a bit of an oasis in the midst of a mildly chaotic neighborhood. My room was on the second floor, which required me to carry my suitcase up (or down) a half-flight of stairs in order to get to the elevator. My drive from the airport took a while due to the traffic, but the return trip (early on Sunday morning) was very quick. The hotel restaurant was odd, but the food was good, if not a little pricey. The desk staff was very nice and multi-lingual.

Located outside the city center however, busride was always interesting. Fairly quiet location, and close to great eateries. Excellent continental breakfast and overall a wonderful facility. I would reccommend this hotel to everyone.

This is a good hotel for the money with a nice breakfest. The rooms are a bit dark. They should consider placing more lights. Also, no cable TV, the hotel (according to a staff member) did not renew the contract. So, only 5 channels and they are all in Italian. If you don't speak Italian you'll have no TV.

Hôtel vétuste dont les fenêtres donnent soit sur les fenêtres du voisin (2.50m.) soit sur une coursive sans lumière. La photo présentée correspond à la seule chambre rénovée. Volet en panne d'où bricolage nécessaire à 23h00 ! C'est un hôtel cher pour touristes naïfs. À éviter.

Hotel ligt buiten het centrum, maar dit is goed bereikbaar per bus. Een mooie plek in eenvoudige buurt, en vlakbij historische villa's (Lampedusa; chinoiseriebuitenplaats van de Bourbons). In oktober 2011 naar verhouding voor het gebodene een aangename prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Voor ons een prima uitvalsbasis.

Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 2 personnes et nous nous sommes retrouvés dans un véritable appartement avec 5lits! Loin du centre, mais c'est pour cela qu''on l'avait choisi! Après 1/4 d'heure de marche et 1/2h de bus, on se retrouve en plein centre de la ville et libre de tous ses mouvements. Rien à dire de l'acceuil, confort, pt déj., tout était très correct. Un petit bémol quand même, le site publie des photos de l'hôtel comme s'il s'agissait du "palais" situé" juste à côté effectivement et qui sert de restaurant le soir. bref, ne pensez pas que vous logez dans un palais des mille et une nuits pour un prix modique, vous êtes juste dans un hôtel confortable avec vue sur les hlm voisins...

Bon accueil, Hôtel éloigné du centre de Palerme mais qui possède un jardin bien entretenu et reposant. Chambre spacieuse et avec salon. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Wifi gratuit qui fonctionne sans problème. Diner sur place à éviter.

Stort værelse som en lille lejlighed med altan. Venlig betjening i receptionen. God morgenmadsbuffet. God adgang fra motorvejen A19. Roligt kvarter.

Ottimo hotel da considerare soltanto se si ha un auto in quanto in posizione periferica, personale gentilissimo, ambienti puliti, camere spaziose e confortevoli, splendido giardino circostante. Buona colazione anche se suggerirei di utilizzare prodotti freschi e non industriali (legi torte, cornetti ecc.ecc.). Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, consigliato anche alle famiglie. Noi ci ritorneremo !!!

Grande chambre, Bon petit déjeuner,Service attentif Mais situé loin du centre et on a trouvé 2 gros cafards dans la salle de bain...

Nous avons été vraiment déçu par cet hôtel qui se situe loin du centre. Les chambres sont vraiment petites et extrêmement sales (poils dans la douche, aspirateur pas passé,...). Il nous a été impossible de dormir car la clim était défectueuse et des chiens n’arrêtaient d'aboyer dehors. Cet hôtel a été le pire durant notre voyage en Sicile de 15 jours. Pour conclure, le prix est attractif mais le minimum n'y ai pas (propreté...). A éviter impérativement.

Bon acceuil, service excellent, loin du centre de palerme mais moyen de transport à proximité. Nous avons passé deux nuits parfaites et le petit déjeuné est vraiment copieux. Nous étions à pieds et n'avons eu aucun problème pour nous déplacer et visiter tous les sites de palerme. Billet de bus journalier à 3.50E à acheter dans bureau de tabac ou Kiosque bus. Nous recommandons cet hotel sans problème.

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Casena Dei Colli. With a car it is a great hotel to stay at as the location is ideal for trips into Palermo center or to the beaches. Nice and quiet location. The family room was spacious and clean and the breakfast buffet was really good. Very recomendable and a great bargain.

Zeer goed hotel voor de prijsklasse. We hadden een zeer ruime 4 persoonskamer. Met eigen slaapkamer, goede bedden en balkon. De kamer werd dagelijks gereinigd en het linnen verschoond. Iedere dag werden er nieuwe shampoos inde badkamer gelegd. Het ontbijt was erg goed. Kortom een aanrader. Ov. In Palermo is minder.

Hotel propre très bien tenu,un petit déjeuner copieux, une amabilité du personnel et un professionaliste même avec pour une famille avec 3 enfants ,pas trop loin du centre de Palerme, dans une quartier calme avec à disposition un grand parking.Grande chambre matelasserie neuve pour tous clim pour les deux pièces . je recommande cet hotel

L'hôtel est à l'écart du centre ville et de l'agitation, dans un cadre très calme, grâce au grand jardin très fleuri et arboré. Le bâtiment d'accueil est assez cosi, dommage que les petits-déjeuners soient en sous-sol. Accueil sympatique et en français. Le hic, la chambre, qui ressemble plus à une 2 étoiles, petite, équipée du minimum, type résidence de vacances. En plus, en guise de chambre quadruple, 2 lits ajoutés dans cette chambre déjà petite... Par contre, pas chère!

Rigtig godt hotel i rolig omgivelser der ligger lidt væk fra centrum af Palermo men centrum gan rimelig let nåes med busser. God mulighed for at slappe af i stor have tilknyttet hotellet. Overnattet der 2 gange, anden gang dog en elendig seng.

Nous avions une chambre familiale, mais le souci est que la chambre ne pouvait pas se verrouiller de l'intérieur et la douche était minuscule avec un pommeau de douche fixe, non amovible (pas facile pour doucher un petit enfant, il fallait le porter en hauteur tout en le rinçant....) donc pas pas très fonctionnel... Le restaurant est très beau et son cadre très chic....l'hôtel devrait d'ailleurs le prendre en photo pour le promouvoir...ce fut une agréable surprise!

We are a family of four and we chose this hotel because of the location since we were only passing Palermo on our way east. We arrived at the airport in the evening and appreciated the fairly short drive to the hotel (navigator recommended, don't know if we'd found our way without it). I hadn't expected much of the hotel considering the low fare and was positively surprised to find a very large suite of two rooms - one with three seperate beds and one with king size bed and one bathroom with shower. Nothing special but adequate for one night. Well functioning AC in both rooms as well as breakfast buffet was included in the price. Staff was very friendly (they also spoke English) and recommended a pizza place five minutes walk from the hotel, which was a hit. Don't know why they show pictures of the building next door instead of the hotel. Though I didn't choose the hotel because of the outdoor pictures, it's not fair.

Super trevlig personal som verkligen ansträngde sig att tillmötesgå våra frågor och hjälpa oss tillrätta. Det var lätt att hitta till hotellet och det fanns mycket affärer och resturanger på nära håll. Hotellets egen resturang hade också den mycket trevlig personal som var engelsktalande vilket underlättade vid beställningen. Resturanglokalen var dessutom helt underbar att sitta i. Återkommer gärna till det här hotellet. Ska jag nämna något negativt så var det saknaden av en pool, men det visste vi ju att det inte fanns någon när vi bokade. Vi fick åka ut till närmsta strand istället som låg ca 10 minuter fårn hotellet. Att ta sig in till centrala Palermo var enkelt både med bil och buss!

Très bon hotel pour une étape

Finns tre bra saker att säga om hotellet 1. Innergården-mycket fin! 2. Söt frukostmatsal (tyvärr ingen nyttig frukost) 3. Städning varje dag Men...hotellet ligger i ett område utan något alls att köpa och med bara en restaurang-pizzeria. Ingen promenadmöjlighet och tokmycket trafik! Superlyhörda rum, man vaknar varje morgon väldigt tidigt. Musik varje kväll från restaurangen som bokas av privata gäster. Inget miljötänk alls-nya handdukar varje dag och engångstvålar som kastas utan att hunnits använda.
