Honestly, did not have high hopes abt the hotel from the outside specially when it stands very close to Sheraton, Westin, Double Tree etc. It might look shabby from the outside. Checkin process was pretty fast and hassle free. Now coming inside the room, it was amazingly clean & fully loaded. Bathrooms were clean so was the bed. The comforter looked very much used. So I was a little wary using that. But overall it was a value for money deal for me. Will definitely come back to stay there.

For price and quality, you really can't go wrong with Red Roof Inn. Although they don't offer breakfast in the AM, if you go to the lobby in the morning they had granola bars, fruit, and water bottles available. They also have irons and ironing boards upon request.

The staff was very friendly and polite they addressed me as Miss which was very old school but very nice. The hotel was very quiet at night. I had a guest and when they arrived they called to announce they were coming. The rooms were very clean and neat. They offered coffee while I was waiting to check in.

Cheap, available, clean, no nonsense. Free wi-fi and shuttles to the airport.

Good location for ovenight stay for conecting flight. Good value, clean, comfortable beds, free airport shuttel.

My stay was good.

thanks to Spirit Air we had a 10hr layover and decided to be comfortable rather than stay at airport. best decision I ever made.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle from the airport tothe hotel took almost 45 minutes, and I was a tired traveler. Had to call to check again to check on the drivers arrival time. A coffee pot in the room would have added to the amenities. There was coffee and tea in the lobby 24 hours. room lovely I would definitely stay there again

I enjoyed my 2nd stay , but was disappointed to find that not all rooms had refrigerators and microwaves. Next tme I will need to verify. Overall, I was satisfied.

The shuttle service to the airport was a great added bonus.

Close to Airport. Free Shuttle service took 2 hours to get me from Airport to Hotel. A little better service getting back. Convenient to use as a place to get a couple hours sleep.

Very limited amenities, do not expect anything. I could not find hair dryer. Table lamp is fitted with oversized bulb and I have to turn it off since it has some burning plastic smell after 20min. Glad I am still in room. Filmsy bed sheet. Heating and hot water are good, I stayed in early spring, so not sure the air conditioner. Old CRT TV and you can hear the plane flowby in the morning.

Hotel room looked like it was a "flipped" house… everything patched up, poorly updated. The heather was electric strips that were up on the wall, and the AC was a window AC unit stuck near the floor. No Iron or Hairdryer (we were able to ask for a hairdryer but they had no iron). I'm a total cheapo but man spend a couple more bucks and go to a another nearby hotel...

Very reasonably priced and nice/ clean for a $49 hotel room. Some technical problems - maybe to be expected at this price range: The internet was visible to my tablet, but could never log in. Movies shown on pay per view were not the movies pay per view rented.

Cheap affordable overnight stay. Right next to Denny's and a gas station if you need little amenities. **One negative: after waiting where they told me to and calling the hotel 3 different times over a 1 hour period the shuttle finally arrived! Not the best start of my stay with them!!

Service was great! Very clean rooms could be updated. We would stay there again.

Did not have refrigerator or coffee maker in room

This was an excellent value for an economy room. It is not a new motel - but well maintained. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the work space for computer was perfect, there was a frig and microwave. No frills but it had what I needed.

I have stayed at this property 5-6 nights in the past 6 months and the experience has been pretty consistent. Front desk help are usually young women, some of whom seem to be on their first day on the job, others who seem to consider guests an interruption of what they were doing. The property is older and a little run-down but decently maintained - I've never had any mechanical issues (plumbing, HVAC, etc) and usually sleep well. On my latest stay, my room smelled quite musty and stale and had probably been smoked in many times despite being a "non-smoking" room. I was too tired to request a change, I just went to bed. The location is great for air travelers and I'm sure like most hotels in the area they have an airport shuttle (which I've never used). I go there because it is convenient to Downtown Grapevine/Southlake where I need to be and is right on the highway. Even with the horrendous construction traffic it never takes more than 20 minutes to get back and forth, at night more like 10. Despite the minor quibbles I've had with past stays I'll probably stay there again simply because of the clean rooms and excellent rates.

I had to stay just one night and for the price it couldn't get much better. The room was a bit musty as far as smell but was clean. The staff was efficient and friendly. The free shuttle to and from the airport was great; on time and friendly. The Denny's and gas station next door was all I needed.

I needed it to be closer to airport......it was ok...

All very nice and even kept our vehicle for $3/day and shuttled us to DFW Airport.

The rooms were adequate for an unexpected overnight delay in Dallas. However, the first three rooms assigned to us had not been cleaned, beds not made and wet used towels in the room. The staff was apologetic and made it right, but the experience was disappointing.

I booked a room at this hotel looking at the 4 start guest ratings on hotels.com, I wondered what could be the reasons for such high ratings. To be honest as soon as I pulled into the parking lot I was little disappointed as the look of the hotel wasn't that great. But that opinion totally changed when I talked to the front desk staff, she was really courteous and helpful. The room was very well maintained. The maintenance staff did a terrific job everyday. Aerial, the front desk person was very helpful and courteous. Definitely worth the hype!!!

MY STAY WAS NOT THE WORST, HOWEVER, CERTAINLY NOT THE BEST...BUT COULD HAVE BEEN SIMPLY BETTER...WHEN COMPARED TO THAT DFW HOTEL, OH IT WAS MUCH BETTER!!! BUT ITS DEFINITELY NEEDS RENOVATING...CLEANLINESS OK, MODERN ----NO----, QUIET----HECK NO----NICE-NANNNNN NOT THAT EITHER, TV CHANNEL LINEUP--OK---, AND HOTEL STAFF & MANAGEMENT ---OH IN ORDER---NOW WORK ON THE DERN HOTEL ITSELF...DON'T WASTE A GOOD LOCATION AND POTENTIAL BLDG OF A BUSINESS...NOPE WILL NOT RETURN UNTIL THERE HAS BEEN A HOST OF RENOVATION OR REMODELING..OTHERWISE WILL NOT RETURN NOR RECOMMEND

Room was clean, quiet, has free airport shuttle and is across the street from a 24 hour Denny's. For what I paid I couldn't ask for more.

Pros: Close to the airport. Clean room. Good water pressure in the shower. Free airport shuttle. Across from a restaurant. Friendly reception staff. Decent rates. Better than other hotels in this class. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cons: Airport shuttle is shared with other motels, so your trip to your terminal or hotel could take 45 mins - plan accordingly. My room had a musty smell, though was not too bad. The towels were near threadbare and should be replaced. There are only hotels in the neighbourhood and the Dennys (the only eatery in walking distance) is probably overpriced.

Room was good, no problems. Did not stay for breakfast, so don't know how it was. But for the price, couldn't ask for more.

I couldn't sleep well, because the mattress was so hard. Room was clean, Internet was good. I don't have another complaint.

I would recommend this hotel. Simple and comfortable. Beware though- if you're a woman solo traveler, ask for a room close to the reception area. Initially, I was given a room at the far back end of another building, in a most desolate and dark area. The hotel needs to be aware of the security needs of women! It would have made it a more pleasant stay not to have to deal with that after a long day of traveling. Luckily, another room facing the front and well light area was available. All in all I recommend it.

We just needed a place to crash overnight between flights. This place was much more affordable than surrounding hotels, but the double rooms have full size beds, not queen size and they were not very comfy. Felt old and lumpy. Everything was very old and outdated. The desk workers were very friendly and helpful. Not bad if you just need a place to stay for a little while. The "Free Breakfast" was coffee and a few hard granola bars. That was very misleading in my opinion.
