No towels at pool. Had to ask twice to have them delivered. Hotel seems seriously understaffed. Rough bathroom towels. Sub-par bedding. Breakfast service was very good. Servers were very helpful. Stayed at Sheraton night before and overall quality, room size and amenities were far superior for a lower price.

It was very good.

Great experience will always stay here.

There are only positives to relay. Hamptons are the most comfortable of all the chains. The hot breakfast was a plus and unexpected. We will not stay at any other hotel in the future no matter where we are.

We needed to house a presenter for a weekend. The Hampton Inn is closest to our location - and there are amenities close by to accommodate a quick meal, forgotten essentials and the reviews seemed to reflect the calm and quiet atmosphere conducive to rest and renewal needed for a 2 day presentation. The presenter was happy with the hotel, the staff and the cleanliness. Thank you!

Wonderful stay!

Just stayed at this hotel last weekend and it was perfect for what we were looking for. Price was very reasonable and comes with free breakfast buffett. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfy with soft linens. My favorite thing about this hotel were the people working there. They could not have been nicer and if you needed anything they were there in a hurry! This was my second visit to the hotel and will definitely be returning

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The room and bathroom were spotless. The bathroom was gorgeous. The shower was huge! The heat vent was in the bathroom, which prevented it from blowing on us and kept the bathroom mirror from fogging up during showers. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet. The only noise I heard all night was the refrigerator in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My stay was pleasent. No complaints. I would stay here again.

Overall good business experience.

I stayed at the hotel in January for business. The staff went out of their way to make me comfortable and have a relaxing stay after very stressful and jam-packed work days. The room itself was plush and clean with a wonderful shower and bed.

Front desk peeps are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very nice, brand new and modern. Although I did not use the pool or hot tub, they looked nice. The breakfast! A real one -- that ranges from cold and hot cereals to eggs/bacon and waffles. Complimentary coffee and cookies are always available in the lobby -- a welcome perk! Not too much to do in the immediate neighborhood, but a short drive down the street to historic Frederick is worth it!

highly recommend - reception area staff friendly, helpful and competent rooms were nice size and very attractive and CLEAN

The excellence of customer service provided was unmatched. The staff was beyond amicable as they were more than willing to go above and beyond the normalcy of service.

Upon arrival at the Hampton Inn, we found that the hotel had been renovated and everything was aparkling. Our room was very comfortable, microwave, fridge - coffee maker. We had shampoo, conditioner, hand cream. Very clean. Breakfast was a buffet with cheese omlets, waffles, fruit - and much more. Check out was easy. Everyone very accomodating. Will be back!

It was a nice stay. The continental breakfast was wonderful. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable.

We would definitely come back. The service is excellent. Hotel is newer and rooms are very clean. Breakfast is good and coffee is available at the lobby 24 hours.

Very nice staff. Had a late check in and they took care of everything for us and were still happy at 1 in the am!

The hotel at Ft. Detrick is very clean. Nothing extraordinary. Just well presented lobby, clean rooms and comfy beds. No Ritz Carltons in Frederick, so I'd give this a good review!

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The best part of the stay was the staff. I have never seen such happy people. What employers don't seem to understand is that if your staff isn't happy, your customers will not be happy either. However, if your employees are happy, your customers are goign to be happy. The morning staff at the breakfast area was outstanding! The desk staff was tremendous! My sisters and my niece stayed with me. All 4 of our loved our room, loved the staff, loved the pool, loved breakfast, and loved our stay. It was as close to perfect as you can get! GREAT JOB!!!!!!

The Hotel is under reconstuction and is not suitable for staying comfortable at this time. I arrived late at night and there was no functioning lobby. It took me awhile to see where I was to enter the hotel; there was a make shift Front Desk that did not have any sign identifying it as such and cabs coming to transport us had no idea where to go to pick us up or contact us.

I stayed at this hotel last weekend, and looked forward to the spacious lobby, liberal access to the business center, and just an overall pleasant experience as I have stayed there in the past. They are currently undergoing a major renovation, where the lobby was completely not accessible and my floor had extensive work done while I was staying there (tarps on the floor, scraping and wallpapering being done, workers working most of the time). The staff did everything to make it bearable, and were extremely friendly and helpful. Having a very busy work schedule while I was there, made it a bummer to come "home" to a rather chaotic environment. All in all, though, the staff and the services made up for the lack of environment. I know they are trying to improve the lobby (I thought it was great before), so I know it will be a great hotel again when it is done!

Not only was the Hampton easy to get to but it was amazingly clean. The room was a very generous size and we loved the fridge & microwave availability. Although we did not use it, they did have washer/dryer available to guests -- another great bonus if you're staying a few days.

The front desk personnel were quick and courteous. The breakfast area was clean and the food was of quality, the lady on charge of it, takes care that the guest satisfaction. And you have efficient and very cooperative housekeeping team. I forget my digital camera in the room and after I noticed, I call them and they take care of it, and send it to me promptly.

We had an amazing stay at Hampton Inn. Check in was quick and easy, our room was great (even had microwave and fridge), breakfast was very good considering it was free and the staff was very pleasant. My husband and son enjoyed the pool. Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable and in general it was a quiet location with a grocery store and restaurants just across the street. Only minutes from downtown Frederick so it was very convenient. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. My stay at the Frederick Fairfield Inn a few years ago was comparable but I don't think they had a pool and their breakfast was not as good. Also, there was a group of high school students racing around the halls late into the evening at that hotel. My stay at the Hampton Inn was more pleasant and cheaper!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone! It was clean, comfortable, inviting (lobby and breakfast area). My king size bed was VERY comfy. Computer access in lobby was easy, breakfast was fresh and hot, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative is that the fitness room is very small with only one treadmill. I would love to see this expand in the future I plan on staying again for future business trip early in 2011.

Can't say enough good about this hotel. It was close to Ft Detrick, the staff was pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast was one of the best provided -better than Country Inn & Suites. Check in was easy as well as check out. Wireless was great. Close to to a shopping center, freeway, etc.

Rooms tend to be a bit pricey. It's in a location next to Ft. Detrick and there is often competition for the rooms which tends to make you pay a little more. The rooms were clean and pleasant. My sink drain was plugged but maintenance fixed it the day I reported it. No real problems. It was nice.

Clean, new, excellent service, and a great value - was cheaper than most hotels in Frederick.

Nice place, no problems, would stay again.

We found this hotel to be excellent. Very clean, good continental breakfast with hot / cold choices, and my son made very good use of the pool. Don't worry about this being away from the Hwy 270 area where most of the other hotels are located. It's really only a few minutes from there, with some benefits - Hwy 15 is convenient, but with less disruptive highway noise, since the hotel is tucked back a little bit. The price we paid was very competitive with nearby hotels.

Hotel was lovely and easy to get to. The rooms were clean and the furnishings were beautiful. Went swimming and the pool area was great, indoors with and out side patio. Can't beat the breakfast!

Very nice place to stay. Easy to get to and good location but we came back to our room for our second nights stay to find they had never cleaned it or replaced our towels.

Accomodation was perfect with correct amenities (pool ok, but spa a little bit sandy). Spacious room with comfortable bed. Light smell of remaining smoke. Breakfast served with large choice of food. I would recommend.
