Clean rooms,good location on the beach.I and my wife are in our 50's,but we like to have fun.This Hotel sponors a pool party everyday in season,so begining at noon til 6 or 7 it is very rowdy and loud,but a fun time.The families can use the facilities at a nearby hotel,so they can spend a quieter day if they want.We picked this hotel specifically for the atmosphere,and it was as advertised.The staff was friendly,and helpful,there is daytime security at the pool,and it is a heck of a party.

It was a wonderful experience!

I wasn't very happy at all with the room. As soon as we walked in the room smelled bad and the beds were very uncomfortable and the was mold in one corner of the bathroom. The elevators took forever to come and only one ice machine was working for the whole hotel. Overall I was not satisified at all.

We were most impressed with the super fast elevators. The staff was friendly. The rooms were cleaned in a timely manner. The one bedroom king ocean view room is on the small side, but managable. The outdoor pool was heated, which was a bonus with the cool weather. The bartender at the outdoor pool is lively, with an abundance of energy. The only indoor pool is a lazy river. The hotel offers more amenities at the neighboring hotel, Captains Quarters, which is two hotels away- not very convenient.

We stayed in a king sized bedroom on the 14th floor. I absolutely loved the view both entering the room and on your own private balcony. The parking garage was very convenient, (granted I had a smaller vehicle). I was rather secluded on the 14th floor which was nice, very quiet considering there was a dance convention in town with screaming little girls everywhere. Hotel amenities were up to par, we only went in the pool and hot tub one night but we loved the hot tub, and the pool was a little shallow (only 3' 6'') but still good size. Location couldn't have been better we could be anywhere we wanted to be in fiftten minutes or less, and walking distance to the piers were'nt that bad either, just bring some good shoes and you'll be fine. By far the best hotel you could get for your money we're already talking about going back agian.

We loved the beachfront views. Very clean Hotel. Great parking. Could have stayed there longer.

Beautiful place to stay! Oceanfront room which is a must if you enjoy the ocean! Pools and hot tubs clean and well kept. Room very clean and spacious with all the comforts of home. Full size stove, fridge, and above stove microwave clean and like new condition. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful!! Love this place and will definately stay again.

I like how the rooms are layed out, it's not just one big room like regular hotel rooms.

The gentleman that checked us was terrific. Then it was downhill from there. This place is old and outdated. Needs a good cleaning too. Floors were filthy. Plenty of nice fluffy towels. I certainly would not stay there again nor will i recommend it to freinds.

Loved it.

I initially chose this Hotel because of the price, amenities and promise of oceanfront, I had a sliver of an Oceanview, more noise from passing traffic the Heater in my room was broken and Maintenance never came to fix the problem. Trying to get help from the staff was a joke; Once we got unpacked we were having problems finding our parking pass, we asked if we could get a reprint, we were told to park on the street when the Marathon was the next day. The elevator continually took me to the wrong floor even though i was the only person on the elevator it took me to different floors and announced it was my floor. in the office there were regularly three or four sets of people complaining about their rooms being given away or being told they had no rooms, or something being wrong.

Best view of the beach, Very friendly people! Best hotel I've stayed at yet, In the past 27 years. I never did one of these reviews on previous hotels, But this one deserves it !

Decent hotel i changed rooms 3 times cause of the view and they were very cooperative. This was my second stay i would recommend this hotel.

Very clean, and really liked the extra amenities that they had to offer. Took my little sister and husband to the sister hotels arcade and bowling and had a blast. Will most definitely book with hotel Blue next summer

Hotel is a little oudated but staff is great and we got a free game of bowling at their other hotel thats walking distance. Free breakfast woulda made it top notch but thank God there was an ihop near by.

We enjoyed out stay at Hotel Blue. Biggest complaint was the elevators were very slow. Room was clean and spacious with lots of extas. Stayed this time just the two of us, but will probly come back with the kids next time. Pool was nice and warm for October. Location was an easy walk to resturants, minimarts, and attractions.

Loud, difficult to sleep with slamming and sliding glass doors all hours. Bed springs could be felt. Holes in blankets and sheets room dirty by my standards. No bell or room service, front desk personnel, some friendly and helpful, others NOT AT ALL. No coffee, ice machine lid covered in black moldy substance. Only one vehicle can be registered and park per room at hotel so travel together or pay meters or parking tickets. Why a full-size fridgerator in room? Unless sun is shining, there is little to no light in room. Bulb in one lamp at bedside was 40 Watts. I couldn't read the phone book in the evening unless sitting in the bathroom. Will never stay there again and would not recommend.

This hotel is for people age 21-30 without kids in my opinion. When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, there was a pool party with a DJ that was so loud I had to put my fingers in my ears, and I usually dont mind loud music. The thumping bass could be heard 3 hotels down. The manager said the pool party was only on Sundays, but the pool looked full of that crowd every time I went. They have a swim up bar but the pool is really too small for that many adults to do more than stand in the water and socialize. The Captain's Quarters is 2 hotels down and we could use that pool as they have the same owner so we went down there every day. Their pool also had a bar and a guy grilling burgers but was very kid friendly and also had quiet places for adults to sit. Also when I got to our room the lock would not work. Maintenance came right up but the whole thing had me worried. Some of the hotels in that area have room break-ins. The room itself was a good size but had issues such as peeling wallpaper and beat up lampshades. The room looked new enough but as if the guests were really hard on it.

I would not go to Hotel Blue Resort again. It was VERY noisy. They played LOUD music starting around noon till late at night nonstop. It was right outside the rooms by the pool. They had a nice balcony to sit on, but the music was so LOUD that it ruined the peaceful scene. You could not read a book, talk to someone else on the balcony or listen to your own music because theirs was so LOUD. When you went back into your room and closed the door you could still hear the LOUD music. There was no getting away from it. When we called the desk around 10:00 at night to tell them there was no one outside but their LOUD music was still playing, they would not answer the phone. We found out someone else had called to complain and they quit answering the phone. They told us the worker was suppose to turn it off when he left for the night at 9:00, but he didn't do it either night we were there. We had to wait and wait for them to finally turn the LOUD noise off.

The service and hospitality was very acceptable. My room was quite enjoyable and well maintained. I would definitely enjoy staying there again.

Had a nice time.The room had two TVs one in bedroom did not work.Asked front desk for a phone book she said they didnt have one.The night desk clerk was very nice.The indoor hot tub was so hot you could not use it.But over all it was fine the room was clean.Good location,liked that the room had extra bed in wall and couch Would be able to have son and his famliy stay in same room

I have to say that this was the BEST hotel that we have stayed at yet. There was plenty for everyone in the family to do. It was in a great location. You where in walking distance to everything.

Fantastic vacation! Working on a budget we chose the Hotel Blue Resort for its price, which allowed us to enjoy the other attractions Myrtle Beach has to offer. We could not have been more satisfied. Of course we did have a week of amazing weather which I don't believe the hotel any control over... or did they?

This is a good hotel for the stay, few things would make it nicer for the prices. Free breakfast and shuttle service to the "sister" hotel two blocks away. This hotel doesn't have indoor pool or bowling alley captain's quarters does but they could offer a ride between the hotels it is a bit of a walk. Specially if they are gonna ride on the amenities of the other hotel in their listing.

Despite some of the bad reviews on trip advisor we decided to stay at hotel blue. Im glad we did. We had great service. Early check in. Rooms were clean. Good music by the pool. Swim up bar definately awesome. Cheap room rates in late april. Overall good experience.

Honestly I don't know where to start when it comes to this hotel. 20 of my family members stayed at this hotel this past weekend. Security threatened to arrest my husband because he was in another hotel room after 11pm. The fire alarm was pulled 5 times during our 2 day visit. The hotel is delipitated to put it nicely. I spoke with the so called manager and she stated that she would give us a discount due to all the problems her staff caused us. When I went to check out this morning of course no discount was given. This hotel is plain awful and to top it off I bought a water bug home from this filthy place. U have been warned.

It wasn't the best, but it also wasn't the worst. The room was really clean and the view from our balcony was nice. I personally wouldn't stay again.

Staff was helpful and friendly so add that to a clean room and awesome location and I had a great stay in myrtle beach

We'd recommend this hotel and we'd stay here again!
