Bedding and towels had hair in them. Only one key worked and took 5 min to get it to open the door!

Had not been in North Wildwood in years. Very nice, clean neighborhood. The hotel two room suite was perfect and the pool was very nice. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Walking distance to boardwalk and places to eat. All in all, a good stay. Parking was a little tight, but worked out fine.

We really enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the pool, not too far from anything you would need. Most likely will be back there next year.

the hotel is very nice and close to everything, I stayed for three days, but the maid only went to two days to change towels and I run out on the third day, the ice machine was broken and not fixed quickly,the pool sign said is open from 10 am to 8 pm but they begin cleaning at 10 am to 11:30 am disturbed me the routine i plan to do

Had a great time at the lollipop last week. Clean room, great maid service, free wifi and the pool for the kids was great. Very short walking distance to boardwalk and to the beach. Would recommend for any family vacation.

No phone in the room? What the? The tv was so small and old! The pool seemed dirty and the maids were loud every morning outside the room. The office wasn't opened until late mornings and there wasn't enough parking. I had to park on the street. The only time management was nice was when it was time to check out. Not friendly at all. Not going back. Wasn't worth the money my family spent.

The location was fine however the motel was very old and dirty. Our view was a 3 ft pile of dirty sheets , towels and blankets. We stayed for 5 days and the pile never moved. When we walked in our room I steped on a nail sticking out of the carpet .

The motel was clean and within a short walk to the beach.The couple who run the motel were pleasant and helpful with any questions I had as far as local stores, wristbands for the rides on the pier(which they sell there for about 7 dollars cheaper than on the pier). It's a motel so don't expect Hilton decor but the pool was very clean as was the room. Fresh towels were delivered each morning and beds were made for us as well. Would absolutely stay again.

The staff at the hotel were very nice. The room itself was very basic. Two beds, pull out couch, very old TV's, only one with cable. But there is a fridge, decent sized bathroom, and pool. Perfect for a place to sleep and wash up. This is by no means a 5 star hotel, but if you need a place to crash after the boardwalk, it's a good choice. Another perk is that it does not allow under 25 year olds to stay without their parents. We were there with our young children and didn't have to worry about being in a party place.

We stayed for 3 nights in early June 2011.....(3) adults and (1) child in a 1BR suite. Room was clean, but there was only one air conditioner in the bedroom so the sleeping guests in the living room did not keep as cool. Sleeper sofa mattress was uncomfortable. Location was great; two blocks to the northern end of the boardwalk and close to a pier with rides. Bathroom was in desperate need of an update. Fridge and kitchenette in room were convenient. Heated swimming pool was nice. There is a large patio where guests can use the complimentary gas grilles.

Memorial Day Weekend in Wildwood NJ is very crowded and sometimes rowdy...fortunately the extremely friendly and helpful proprieter of the Lollipop was present and visible to keep guests on their best behavior. This is a simple, old school motel...rooms are clean and well equipped. Pool was immaculate. Only one parking space is available per room so plan ahead for that. Overall we had a nice stay.

This motel had everything we needed for our weekend at the beach. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was a clean and comfortable place to come at the end of busy days.

I am an 18 year old girl and i was supposed to stay over night at the lollipop motel in Wildwood NJ. i took a 2 1/2hr bus ride to get there and then spent another $10 to take a cab to the hotel. when i got there the women at the front desk told me i wasn't aloud to check in because neither me or my boyfriend are 25. she told me that its was a new policy and it was stated on hotels.com which it is not. after begging and pleading with this very rude woman i left and took my business some where else.

Everything that you could need was in walking distance. The only problem that i found with the hotel is that the beds are not that comfortable and the parking situition could have been better.

This hotel was great. It's located just 2 blocks from the action. Very clean and roomy. I would definitely stay there again!

I needed a place to crash for one night as I was golfing locally in a two-day tournament. I haven't stayed in any other Wildwood area motels (have usually stayed in Cape May with my fiance) so can't rate them against the local competition. For me it was fine for a night, but decidedly average in most respects. Seeing it is rated high in this town makes me wonder how the other motels must be! Check in: The lady at the desk was pleasant and I was in my room in a matter of minutes. Room: Small efficiency with an ok layout. Small living room up front with couch, table/ 2 chairs, TV. A small kitchenette flanks one side of the hallway to the bedroom, the other side of the hall is the bathroom, which was very small. The bedroom had two double beds and a dresser with a small TV. One note for C-pap users, there was no plug in the room to use AT ALL (there was one behind the dresser, but impossible to get to). A trip back to Lowes in Rio Grande was required to buy an extension cord so I could run it from the kitchenette. The rooms are in average condition but there was wear and tear, like the carpet transition from the living room to the kitchenette was fraying. Beds: Not so comfy. They were kind of hard actually. I slept ok because I was tired, but can't imagine a week on them. Cleanliness: OK. Generally clean, although when I returned from the store with a bite to eat I found a huge hair on the table that I had to get rid of. The bathroom was clean. Overall it was average and OK for me for one night as I'm not too picky and it was clean (except for the hair). If I'm down in the area with my fiance we will remain in Cape May, where we have stayed at much nicer hotels. If I come back alone for one night I'll consider the Lollipop again.

We recently had the opportunity to stay at the Lollipop on a tour up the East Coast. It was a surprise and a delight to be there. The management was awesome, the room was fantastically decorated and clean. It was nice to get back to Wildwood after many years and was pleased to see the whole town has transformed from cheesy and run down to something of an example for many other run down oceanside towns. We will be back to the Lollipop on our next go around! Thank you!
