Hotel was adequately comfortable.

Hotel was past its prime, which is unfortunate, because it has the potential to be a better establishment than in its current state. I would definitely not recommend this hotel for families. Since I was on my own for this trip, it was adequate and worth the price, but not any more. I would not consider the hotel for an upcoming trip to Genoa, as there are much better places to stay It was rather hot for mid March, but the A/C was not turned on. The refrigerator and safe were both broken in my room, so they really did not offer what was advertised. The staff was not all that friendly and they did not have tour maps in English. Breakfast was free and was adequate. So right at 50/50 on my feelings about the stay. It was close to the train station, but an uphill climb of steps to get there.

The excellent hotel is located in the city centre near to the places of interests & it is opposite to the main station where we take the airport bus to the airport, so its very convenient. We like the elegant exterior of the building. Inside, our room with ensuite bathroom/wc is comfortable & spacious with a fantastic harbour view & aerial view of the main station which we enjoy. The buffet breakfast is excellent with fresh fruits, cheese/meats, cereals, etc. A lift is available for access. Perhaps one negative point of the location is that we could hear the trains late at night & this might cause sleep problems for some people, but not us. We enjoy our stay & would return in the near future.

I stayed at Bellevue 2 days in the end of October 2011. The hotel is ok, but not more than that. A bit worn down, but affordable price and excellent location when you're travelling by train as I did. The railway station is just across the road and down the stairs. Breakfast is ok. All in all: you get what you're paying for :-)

A very basic hotel which is ideally situated close to the town's principal railway station. The Volabus from the airport (6 Euros) stops in the piazza just below the hotel - could not be more convenient. The room was clean, basic and functional if a bit small (but not bad for a single). Air conditioning worked, as did everything in the small bathroom. Breakfast was typical Italian hotel fare, disappointing but not unexpected. Hotel is 15 mins walk from the Old Port and associated waterfront enetrtainment, 20 mins from the Old Town.

I went to Genoa as a spot to visit in between Milan and the Cinque Terre. The Hotel Bellevue was a very convenient spot, right above the train station. Even with a window overlooking the staion, the windows do block out the noise, and the air conditioning kept the room comfortable on some warm days. The room was fine, not too fancy, but clean and well set up. It was nice to have a mini-fridge in the room. The staff was helpful, and there was always someone who spoke English around. They even provided me with some ice when I asked. The breakfast was fine, and the room was spacious. There was plenty of everything, and maybe not fancy, but good for getting your day started. With little known about what to see in the city, there were walking guides available, with tours for 1, 2 or 3 days. This was a great location for exploring, and Via Balbi right below the hotel brings you right to the heart of the city. Also, most of the ascensores (lifts) around the city were free, and you can get a great view of the whole town. The one right next to the building, goes up to the Castello D'Albertis, 26 flights up.

The hotel is an old structure with parking in a garage just around the corner for an additional 15 euro per night. Our fridge & safe didn't work, however the staff promptly provided new ones. The A/C was a bonus. The location is quite good and near the port and shopping if you don't mind walking. Everything is within a 2 mile or so radius. Many English speaking people in the area. The breakfast was typical European, but on the lighter side. On the downside, the beds are terribly hard and sleep was little to the discomfort.

Convenient location if using the train although a steep walk up the hill with luggage. Our room was large and had a view towards the harbour - lovely at night. Requested an extra pillow twice but it never came - perhaps because the evening male receptionist was over indulging in alcoholi??? Breakfast was included and was adequate. It is a 3 star hotel - no more.

Hotel has a working elevator. Hotel has air conditioning. Right beside Principe station on a hill. In the harbour part of Genoa. Rooms are a nice size. Shower is small but managable. Breakfast is disappointing. Not to many options. Most stuff is in packages. Coffee comes out of a machine. Can hear trains late into the night and early morning. 10 minute walk to the harbour.

The location is good. You can catch the volabus from the airport at Genoa to within 200 yards of the hotel for 6 Euros. Taxis are a rip off in Italy, that is why you see so many people dragging their roller suitcases, especially in Rome. Even though the train station is so close, the double pane windows eliminate noise. I had to leave early for my flight, so I am unable to comment on the breakfast. Shower stall was small, faucet in room 110 splattered out of the basin. Italians are noisy blowdrying hair late.

The hotel is near the Genoa P. P. Which is very easy for me to get to places such as a day trip to Cinque Terre and to Turin. The hotel is old style but very clean and staffs are friendly, the breakfast is very basic but ok. My room is facing the train station which is a bit noisy but as long as you close the window tightly, I think it will be just fine, being from NYC, I can sleep with a small street noise. There is no wifi in the room which is a downside, but there is wifi in the lobby for free. Overall, it is great for the price and I enjoyed my stay very much.

I saw some pretty harsh reviews before I stayed there. I think these people have high expectations for a hotel that is priced as such. The carpet is dingy and old, but not dirty. The place probably had its last facelift in the 1980's - but aside from that - the bed was fine - the single room was far bigger than most in Italy - the location was superb - the staff was helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again. At first I didn't like the idea of having to go to a common area to access the internet, but it turned out to be a great place to interact with others and just hang out. Be advised - NO ONE speaks English in Genova. Have a great time! The acquarium was one of the best I've seen. The Mediterranean part was unique and the most informative.

nice rooms, nice view. only a bit cold at night, but there was an extra blanket in the closet ive forgot. And free internet at the reception, shame you couldn't use it in your room. Very friendly and helpfull staff we didn't see that in other hotels and restaurants

We spent one night at the Hotel Bellevue after a cruise, with a very early flight the next morning. We found it to be a reasonably convenient location, and the price was good. Our room was on the fifth (top) floor, which we were able to appreciate since they have a working elevator. The room and bath were very basic but clean. The hall carpeting was terribly rundown, and the room felt rundown as well, but the bed was comfortable and we were able to get a good night's sleep with no noise even though our window looked directly out on the train station and trains moving through. We like to walk a lot, and we found the location to be pretty convenient for walking to the waterfront near the Aquarium and for walking to the other main sights in the old part of Genoa.

The hotel was somewhat difficult to find because our GPS didn't have the building #1 on that street and we made a few circles around that hill. However, after locating it at 12:45am we were pleasantly surprised how nice the front desk clerk was and that rooms had AC and the bathroom was nearly as big as the room itself. Hotel doesn't have its own free parking, but there's a parking garage 50 feet up from the hotel where you can store your car with belongings for something like 20 euros a night. It closes at 01:00 am, so we were lucky to get there just in time. Windows of our room faced the railroad station on the bottom of the hill, but there were surprisingly little noise when you shut your windows tight. The other nice surprise was that the breakfast was included in price, unlike in every other hotel we rented in southern Europe. If you're on a budget, but do not want to stay in 1- or 2- star hotel, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Bellevue.

Great location & great views from hotel which is slightly elevated over looking harbour. Friendly & very helpful staff. Beds comfortable and room very well kept. The buffet breakfast which is included is excellent, highly recommended.

ボローニャの駅のすぐ近く坂の上にある。坂の上なのでスーツケースをひきずっては少し苦労するけれど、それでも10分はかからない。 ホテルのスタッフはみんな親切だった。 部屋は古いながらも手入れや掃除が行き届いていて快適だった。

Bellevue heeft gebreken en troeven: de geweldigste troef is de locatie vlakbij het centraal station maar als je een kamer hebt die uitgeeft op de spore, slaap je niet. De andere kant met het kerkpleintje is dan weer rustig. Het hotel is zeker geen 3 sterren waard: het is verouderd en niet overal even netjes. Het personneel aan de receptie is dan weer 5 ster:supervriendelijk en behulpzaam.

I liked the hotel as it is very nice and very convinient for those who come to Principe train station and Volabus from the airport also stops near the hotel.

pas is belle vue que ça!.....75 metres de la gare, mal insonorise,des sdf à 50metres,chambre à rafraichir,et le comble le parking à 21euros la nuit du vrai vol.....pas content du tout, à éviter.....

- - -silly breakfast for a 3 star hotel.The cheese was this cheap plastic wrapped "rubber", no boiled eggs and always the same ham. I have had better bufe on a 2 star hotel in Italy. Please let people pay 2 more euro and they look forward to getting a better brekfast. The most positive thing about the hotel was the receptionist, who was very helpfull and the hotel lokation.

Kleines nettes Hotel, sehr zentral gelegen, man kann alles schnell zu Fuss erreichen. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht zu empfehlen, da es sehr laut werden kann.

hôtel sympathique cependant, la gare a proximité et les trains passant dans un tunnel situé sous l'hôtel font énormément de bruit assez tôt le matin jusqu'à très tard le soir !!

Comodissimo per la posizione. Troppi i rumori del traffico ferroviario anche di notte.

De ontvangst is plezierig, de kamers bieden goed comfort. Het uitzicht vanuit de kamers (aan de voorkant) is levendig. Het hotel heeft geen eigen restaurant, maar er zijn voldoende restaurants in de buurt. Een nadeel is dat je met de auto niet eenvoudig voor de deur kunt staan. Onder het hotel is een (dure maar veilige) parking (€ 21 per nacht) die niet bij het hotel hoort.

Les chambres sont assez petites et très vieilles ! Je m'attendais à avoir une "bellevue" sur Gênes et au final, j'ai eu une vue sur les rails des trains. De plus, les fenetres étant mal isolées, on a entendu le départ des trains tôt le matin. Nous avons eu accès à Internet mais uniquement dans un salon ouvert à tous qui est en fait dans un couloir (et non dans les chambres). Pour garer la voiture, nous avons mis au moins 1h car tous les parkings étaient pleins.

I travelled with my family (2 adults+2 small kids). If you get room reasonably priced I can recommend. Positive: +Room was reasonably priced +Room was big and ok +Air conditioning was efficient +Service was friendly (good english) +Location is not the best but ok. Very close to the train station and not far from the Aquarium. Negative -If you have heavy luggage you should note that you have to climb to the first floor to take elevator -Elevator is small and slow -Breakfast wasn't very good.

We traveled trough Italy by train and one of the stops was Genova. The hotel is situated right beside the station just up a hill about 100 meters from the main entrance. Its about 10 min walk to the main sights, a little more to reach the old town. The room and the hole interior is a bit old and takes down the impression pretty much. The hotel have a nice roof terrass overlooking the port area that we could use by ourselves during our stay. The breakfast is very simpel, but that is what you could expect from a hotel in Italy for this price. My recomendation is for travellers who travel by train because of the situation next to the station.

Qualità discreta camera comoda la pulizia in camera lasciava un pò desiderare, tutto sommato non c'è male considerando il prezzo.

Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Anche in considerazione della posizione strategica rispetto al centro storico di genova.ottima la colazione a buffet. Riservatezza e cordialità. Ritornerò di nuovo a genova e presso lo stesso hotel. Complimenti

Det var 2. sommer på rad at vi bodde på Bellevue. Sentral beliggenhet, meget hyggelig betjening, god frokost, reint og fint på bad, hotellrom og alle fellesrom. God aircondition. Fine terrasser. Kort avstand til gamlebyen. Kort veg til jernbanen.
