Palacio Urgoiti - مونجيا

The staff was quite unfriendly to the point of being rude. There was no assistance offered with luggage -which is expected in a hostel not a hotel of this standard. We asked for an electric kettle and were told that Spanish people do not need tea in the morning!! The showerhead was useless! Indicating poor maintenence procedures. While there is a ftinesscenter the equipment was out of order and the shower by the pool did not work. I would warn people against this hotel which looks tempting due to the beatiful location.

The hotel is at a rural location about 15 kms from Bilbao. Reception on Saturday evening for one-night-only was pleasant enough. No overnight laundry service available - pity. Grnd Flr room: large and clean but the provided bathrobes were each too small, even my tiny wife's and very worn and torn - pity; a good selling point ruined. A/c system very noisy; solution provided: "turn it down to minimum" - a "non-solution". Didn't have breakfast. Overall, a good impression was gained but there were just too many small problems to rate this hotel as more than "average".

Great location outside the city, minutes from the airport and excellent , get away from it all atmosphere. Food ( fixed prixe menu) was superb! Will definitly return

I cannot say enough positive things about this lovely hotel. I chose the location because we had an early morning flight out of the Bilbao airport (which is literally 8 minutes away) and while the pictures online looked beautiful, I wasn't ready for how extraordinary Palacio Urgoiti ended up being. The hotel is perched on a hill and the views are spectacular. The hotel has a very nice outdoor area for light food and drink. Our room was large with our own private terrace. (We enjoyed a bottle of wine out there). We used the pool and relaxed in their outdoor lounge area. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious. Truly the only thing disappointing about our stay was that we only had one afternoon and evening to enjoy this place! Next time we have agreed to stay longer and take advantage of the golf course. I strongly (strongly!) recommend staying at Palacio Urgoiti.

Calme, phantasique vue en situation dominante, joli chambres spacieuses. 15 minutes de Bilbao.Seulement le service au retaurant et au bar à améliorer, le personel sauf réception ne parle que l'espagnol?! Très bon raport qualité-prix, à recommender absolument

Nice location, personnel was friendly (I arrived after 11 pm and although the kitchen closes at 10.30pm, they allowed me to order something), nice, big (and very clean) rooms, free internet, excellent breakfast. Two minor points (and those are absolute details): it was dark in the swimming pool (and couldn't find the lights) and there were no cabins to change around so you had to come down in your swimwear... but again, just details. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic experience at an incredible price and this at a fantastic location.

Queríamos un hotel con encanto entre Bilbao y Mundaka y acertamos de pleno. La habitación, enorme. Un entorno natural tranquilo y relajante. Ideal para quien quiera sentirse en la naturaleza a un paso de la ciudad y sus atractivos alrededores. Solo una pega: el wifi no funcionó en 48 horas, según nos explicaron en recepción por problemas ajenos al hotel. Pero por lo demás, altamente recomendable

Suverænt hotel, uden nogen kritik punkter. Super personale, meget lækre værelser, fantastiske omgivelser og en restaurant og mad langt ud over det sædvanlige. Ren forkælelse - og bedre end mange 5-stjernede hoteller jeg har boet på. Skal helt klart tilbage - og kan meget varmt anbefale!
