The room was clean and the loo too. Internet service was sick. They gave only allowed me to connect 1 device to Internet at time and the net was not speed enough for surfing news sites. Also there was no way sign out your device to connect another one for example sign out your iPhone to use laptop. Air condition was sick, all what you have from AC is it's sound. I obliged to open widows at night and the street was not quiet. Breakfast was many kind of croissants. If you don't care about Internet and want to visit Milan in winter I'll recommend this hotel.

we stayed at the Hotel Romana Residence the 1th of december a very good service in the looby of the hotel the hotel condition is very bad the room cleanness was ok not more then that the location is great the hotel is near to the center of the citiy .i dont know if ill return to this hotel

This hotel is very well located to visit Milan's centre. The Internet worked well. The buffet breakfast was generous, but the staff had trouble keeping up with the number of guests on the first morning (Saturday). The room walls are paper thin, but we were lucky and we had relatively quiet neighbours.

One block from subway stop. Tram stop even closer. Within walking distance of Duomo, shopping and several good restaurants. Suites over look a green space and the windows open which may give a nice breeze but also lets in the sound of church bells. Elevators are small: two people with one bag each. Good breakfast include. Cab to train station on Sunday morning cost under 15Euros. Not a bad choice downtown at areasonable price.

Fabulous hotel, we were upgraded to a suite, that also contained a spa bath. The location is great 5-10 minute walk to the Duomo or you could even take the tram which is right at your door step. The staff was very helpful and the service wonderful. We would definitely recommend.

We were 3 days weekend at Milan Romana Residence. The room No. 111 was big and very comfortable especially the bed. The temperature outside the hotel was very high and the air condition in the room was great. The location is in the center - 10 minute walk to the duomo. The only minus for us was the breakfast as it not include vegetables. We very enjoyed at the hotel and hope to come ones again.

On check-in the front office staff was having a heated argument with an unsatisfied customer. Very unprofessional and awkward to observe. Room on street was noisy.

Conveniently located within Milan City. Staff are friendly and the room is spacious. Breakfast buffet is nice. However, the hotel room is more like a three-star hotel. Some paint is peeling on the ceiling and the decor is very old ( and old-fashioned). Overall, it's a nice hotel. But I'd expect more for a four-star hotel.

Fun location in the suburbs about 30 minute walk to Duomo but the Metro is very close by to catch instead of walking. Breakfast was great. The single room was small but not bad. Close to eating location and a popular area for local nightlife to socailze.

The hotel is near a rail station so that is nice but not many restaurants or shops are near it though .The reception desk personnel not very helpful but room was clean and about normal size for eurpopean hotel .breakfast was good hot and cold foods.i would say a 3 not a 4 star hotel.

The hotel has a perfect location, and its room is very good. At the same time the water mains are a bit weared out. A plumber was needed twice. The main problem though was the promised complimentary WiFi in the room. During 3 days out of 7 which I spent at the hotel the internet was down. Then it formally appeared, but still was not usable. Obviously the pass band is too narrow. I even could not use Skype or perform check-in on-line.

This hotel was only okay because of its location... close to a Metro line. Other than that... there was nothing else redeeming to this hotel. I had read that the hotel breakfast was good.... it wasn't. Poor selection, powdered eggs, & hot-dogs in place of sausages. Not to mention, the shower-head faced perpendicular to the direction of the shower. Oh, an the shower was filthy. The only redeeming features were it's proximity to the Metro & the Carrefour Express around the corner. (Which by the way, was FANTASTIC! The C4 that is) I say skip this hotel, find one more a little more out but equally convenient to the Metro. Huge waste of money.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is within walking distance to Duomo (10-15min.) . Metro stop very close. Staff are helpful. rooms large and good sized clean bathroom. Breakfast very good compared to others we have had in Italy.

Best Breakfast in Paris and Italy. Staff very helpful to 3 women traveling on their own. Rooms were also the largest at any of the 5 hotels we reserved. We arrived late at night and the neighborhood looked marginal. In fact, it was nice and very convenient to the bus and the underground.

Hotel is conveniently located near Metro stop and walking distance to Duomo (Cathedral) and other areas. Streetcars accessible very near hotel and a small grocery store is located just around the corner for supplies and many wines. Very good restaurant not too far away (Sardinian food) with helpful servers.

We really enjoyed our stay in Milano, and in all fairness, the hotel staff helped as much as possible. The hotel is nicely located near transit...don't even think about bringing a car into this city. Our only complaint was that the hotel had just turned off the heat (after a very cold spell) and did not have the AC started when the 80+ weather hit. Our room on the street side stayed comfortable but only with the window open. The street noise was just too much. Any other time this would have been perfect...as was the best breakfasts we had in Europe. The rooms were large even by US standards with nice full baths. Accessing this beautiful city is a snap from the Hotel. I spent a day just riding the trolleys all around the city.....3 Euro buys you 24hrs on and off to everywhere. We'll be back I'm sure.

Hotel Romana Residence is great place to stay. It has a good location-approx 10 min walk from the Duomo, and very easy access to the tram or bus to other attractions. We loved the breakfast. There were many choices. The Staff was helpful and curteous. The room was a nice size with a comfortable bed. The hotel in general was clean and had a nice appearance

The room was huge - had two full bathrooms and a living room. Can't beat the location for the price. Not too much to do in the immediate area at night, but it's close to all the touristy stuff. Ask about the cost of overnight parking - could be in for a surprise when you check out (like we were!). Would stay there again.

I loved this hotel. Firstly, we got a great room overlooking a very beautiful garden and the room itself was very roomy and spacious, atypical for European hotels. It even had a kitchen! (And no, it wasn't any fancy suite, it was just a regular hotel room for an excellent price!). The location of the hotel is great, a very quiet neighbourhood yet very well located since a walk to the Duomo area is around 15 minutes or so depending on how fast you walk... however since Milan is a pretty big city you'll probably need to take a tram to get to other parts , and whats great about the hotel is that a tram passes right infront of it. Nice staff, well kept and clean hotel and very very comfortable. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to anybody going to Milan!

The hotel oeverall was great, good location, clean, nice staff, decent breakfast. The Elevetor was quite small though. It open and close so quickly so person need to get on very quickly. Also everytime someone uses water or shower, it smelled a bit odd. I think it is from the pipe or old tank.

Jeg var i Milano i april, og dro for å shoppe. Det var gåavstand til alle de gode handlegatene, og det var sånn passe rolig rundt hotellet. Frokosten var god og servicen var upåklagelig. Det eneste jeg ville klaget på var at sengene var steinharde, dusjen var rar og de var enten for varmt eller for kaldt uansett hvor lenge jeg stilte på vannet (det kom så sent.. her snakker vi ett minutt eller 2) og dvdmaskinen virket ikke. Sier jeg som ble oppgradert fra vanlig rom til leilighet:D jaja. Supert hotell.

Hotellet ligger i gåafstand fra Duomo og har et fornuftigt forhold mellem pris og kvalitet. Værelserne virker lidt slidte, men er rene og på alle måder i orden.

BUENAS INSTALACIONES LAS RECOMIENDO, BIEN UBICADO, CÓMODO Y ACCESIBLE

Vi havde en dejlig forlænget weekend på Romana. Værelserne er i stand og udseende at lidt ældre dato, 70'er-80'er, men vedligeholdte og der er pænt og rent. Søde folk i receptionen, der taler engelsk og er hjælpsomme med restauranter, taxi, m.m. Efter italiensk standard en super morgenmad, bedre end Hassler i Roms og så var den med i prisen som var rimelig. Hotellet ligger max 10 min på gåben fra Duomo og der er stille om natten til trods for at der er en lidt bredere vej udenfor. Ligger 20 min gang fra togstationen med direkte tog til Malpensa. Vi vil klart bruge Romana næste gang vi skal til Milano.

Hieman ikääntynyt, mutta siisti ja mukava hotelli Milanon keskustassa, lähellä nähtävyyksiä. Helppo saavutettavuus. Metroasema samassa korttelissa, parin minuutin kävely. Taksiasema lähes vieressä. Huoneessamme oli puhdas amme, jossa uskalsi ottaa kylvyn; kylpyvaahto talon puolesta. Hienot, kirjaillut pyyhkeet. Lämmin huone. Hintaan sisältyvä aamiainen on mainio! Kivoja yksityiskohtia, kuten cappuccinon päällä oleva "kukka". Alakerran baari auki vain aamiaisen aikana, ei illalla. Hitaat ja pienet hissit, mutta piccolo vie laukut huoneeseen. Neljän tähden hotelliksi edullinen. Ystävällinen palvelu ja ainakin varttuneemmalle pariskunnalle oikein miellyttävä hotellikokemus. Suosittelemme!

O hotel é ok. É possível ir à praça Duomo andando e há uma estação de metrô bem próxima. É confortável, mas precisa de uma atualização urgente. É limpo, mas tem um aspecto de super velho.

Hotellet var fint och gav ett professionellt intryck. Nära till Duomo och shoppinggatorna. Spårvagn alldeles utanför dörren. Dessvärre var frukosten av sämre kvalitet. Annars ett helt ok hotell som vi kan tänka oss åka tillbaka till.

Hotellet ligger dejligt centralt. Er en anelse slidt, men det trækker meget op den god placering. Hellere bor centralt, end på et nyere hotel væk fra centrum.

Consigliabilissimo: personale molto disponibile, posizione centrale, confortevole e silenzioso. Adatto sia per lavoro che per turismo con un comodo garage.

Otel klasik ve eski görünümlü fakat bana verilen oda hem oldukça büyüktü hemde içinde mutfağı vardı,sonbaharda konakladım ısıtma ve havalandırma harikaydı,bunun yanı sıra metro istasyonuna çok yakın oluşu her yere ulaşım kolaylığı sağlıyor.Otel görevlileri her açıdan çok yardımcı oldular.Ben çok memlun kaldım,tavsiye ediyorum.

Bom padrão de Hotel, utilizei em turismo, bom quarto, com bom café da manhã, oferece garagem no subsolo, cobrado a parte, localizado proximo ao metro, e a 700 metros do Duomo de Milão. Recomendo.

Hotellet er flottere indrettet end hvad billederne viser. Morgenbuffeten var god; men det kneb med at få fyldt op efterhånden, som de forskellige ting blev spist.

bel hotel bien situé assez proche du centre ville mais mal entetenu climatisation très bruyante dans les chambres mauvaise insonorisation et rue très bruyante (bus et tram sous les fenêtres) wi- fi très aléatoire ! petit déjeuner insuffisant si vous arrivez un peu tard et pas assez de places dans la salle! dommage !

O banheiro é pequeno e não se pode lavar o cabelo no chuveiro de pé,impossivel ajustar para ficar alto.

Hotel was excellent and only a few blocks away from the very center of the city. The subway station is round the corner. Room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was rich and tasty. The only disappointment was the zero soundproofing (acoustic insulation), which brought the street noise into the room during the night, so keep your ear plugs with you. Overall I'd stay at this hotel again.

Sijainti oli hyvä, mutta viereiseen sairaalaan menevien ambulanssien äänet häiritsivät iltaisin. Aamupala oli hyvä ja hotelli oli muutenkin ihan siisti. Hotellin huonoin puoli oli ehdottomasti se, että hissit olivat minimaaliset ja niiden ovet sulkeutuivat yllättäen ja kovalla voimalla. Palvelu oli positiivista ja hyvän tuulista.

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre nuit dasn cet hôtel. L'hôtel a ccédédé à ma requête, à savoir disposer de la chambre à notre arrivée à 10h le matin! Accueil très professionel et très courtois. Chambre grande et un peu vieillotte mais c'est agréable. Bon petit déjeuner. Les jus de fruits pourraient être naturels. C'est globalement très satisfaisant!

Excellent breakfast, decent location (10 min safe walk to Duomo, and close to Metro station), spacious rooms. Decent price.

Et ældre, men velpasset hotel i gå-afstand til byens seværdigeder. Vi skulle i La Scala Operaen om aftenen - og kunne fint spadsere frem og tilbage. Venligt personale - rummelige værelser - rent. Trods værelse mod gaden - ingen generende trafikstøj. Morgenbuffeten var fin og varieret omend ikke overdådig.
