I booked 2 rooms here for my employees as they were doing a 3 day job and we are located in Orange County. The hotel was perfect for what they needed and there were nearby restaurants they enjoyed for dinner. They especially like an Italian restaurant. The rooms were clean, and roomy and had a little sitting area with a couch. The bathrooms were also nice and spacious. The decor was a bit outdated but a nice, clean hotel to stay in for a few days on business. For the price i would definitely book this room again for my guys.

Pleasant budget hotel, right next to Lake Casitas and very close to Ojai (use Creek Road for a more scenic route to downtown Ojai). Room was clean with nice pillows--usually not the case in budget hotels. Thai restaurant next door is good food.

Very nice management, well-run place, friendly, clean and well-kept. The surrounding area isn't great -- loud road, not much within walking distance -- but if you're wanting a nice, inexpensive place to stay near Ojai this one definitely fits the bill!

The Oakridge Inn was perfect for my needs. It was quiet, and walking distance to my venue and local dining facilities. I stay there often and can recommend it to others.

It may surprise some folks. It looks okay but it is better than that. Not luxurious but very nice and clean.

It needs updating, but it was adequate for one night.

I chose this hotel for low-cost and location for sightseeing in Hollywood, hiking in the National Forest, and convenience to Santa Barbra airport. I was very happy with the choice. Although there is not much within walking distance, Ojai is a short drive and a nice place to dine and shop. The drive to Hollywood was about an hour and a half. The bedding and room was a bit worn, but it was very clean, and I was comfortable and it even had a kitchenette. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Nothing fancy, but the room was clean and check in was fast.

Our stay was okay. The clerk was not that friendly and the hotel was out of the way. There was nothing wrong with the hotel but nothing exceptional either.

It's an older motel but the room was remodeled recently and was clean. They still use real keys! Check in was walk in, put my name down, walk out. Check out was walk in, hand over my key, walk out. Whole process was very simple and easy.

Clean, nice, quite far from Santa Barbara, but nice surroinding.

Friendy management close to food and fun with kid friendly pool. Perfect for us at a three day stay. Signed... Satisfied

I am a middle-aged salesman who has spent a lot of nights in motels (Couldn't find any cheap real hotels in this area). The first thing you notice about the Santa Barbara area is that ALL the motels cost twice as much as a comparable motel would in most other parts of the USA. Knowing that your dollar is worth less in this area you can appreciate the Oak Ridge motel. A nice feature of older rooms (they still have old fashioned keys on plastic holders!) is that they are larger than 21st century rooms. It's an 8-mile drive from 101 but there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, the service people are friendly and they have extra pillows in clean, cared for rooms. Oak Ridge is a place you can show off your tatoos and I would suppose LA people could think of this place as "country". For the budget minded this place is OK.

was a very comfortable hotel. There was a fridg. and microwave which was really nice. We were visiting family in Santa Barbara and this was a nice senic drive of about 30 minutes.

Clean and nice for a quick one night stay for a business meeting and the price was right!

If you likes the Bates hotel this is the place for you. Needs maintenance and overall complete redecorating. Not clean, poor area, windy road to the hotel..

Good value and good sized rooms. Quiet nut we were on top floor and off main road

I was looking for a hotel closer to UCSB. When I clicked on 'Hotels near UCSB', this hotel came up.The hotel was clean and well kept,and the price was right, but I would not say it was in the UCSB demographics. If I wanted to stay near Lake Casitas it would have been perfect. It was an hour south of the school. We were coming down from San Francisco.

The gentleman at the fornt desk was very nice, and advised me where I could buy soem camera supplies in nearby Ventura. My room was clean, and I did not hear any outside sounds. An excellent respite from being on the road all day. I will definitely go back when I pass through again.

Nice, clean room with a very simple free breakfast (mini bagels, cookies, packaged danishes, juice and coffee). Room was clean and what I expected. Decent hotel for the price.

We had a wine festival to work on Saturday and this hotel was the best price & closest to Santa Barbara we could find. It was simple,quiet and comfortable. I would go back there if I needed to.

The hotel pool was pretty small :( and our room didn't have wi- fi (though they advertised it) but overall I guess it's pretty reasonable for the area ESP. since we went on July 4 weekend.

a great value. i've stayed here several times in the past 6 months. there are decent eating places within walking distance (which are way overrated on yelp) and the rooms are large and clean and QUIET.

Enjoyed my stay. Room was large. This room had large bathroom which my wife liked it. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Very reasonable price compare to Santa Barbara. I definitely recommend this Motel to a budget oriented travelers who do not mind little extra driving. The town is small but while here we enjoyed going to Lake Casitas which is only 2 miles from here. Go visit Ojai downtown, its a unique spanish style place only 10 min. away.

Clean, quiet, not really fancy but a good night's sleep.

I recently had to book a last minute trip to Ojai during their music festival. The Oakridge was the only place I could find that had rooms available. I might have selected it anyway, given that the other accommodations in Ojai are rather expensive, and my requirements are modest. The Oakridge is about 4 miles out of Ojai, so getting there was easy & quick, and it suited my needs fine. As others have noted, the bathroom was freakishly large, but it wasn't a problem. I think the staff has read the comments here, as the unit with the mini fridge and microwave was NOT in the bathroom. My room was a single queen, which included a desk, small sofa, and coffee table. The tv is an older CRT, which makes no difference to me... . The room was clean and well kept, the bed and pillows were comfortable. I've stayed in nicer places for less, but given the short notice, and the price compared to the other options nearby, it was fine. I literally slept there for about 6 hours, took a shower and checked out. If you're looking for a resort situation this isn't it, but if you just want a place to crash while in the area, I think it's a-ok.

The room was large and had a fridge and microwave. Also, a coffee pot although the office had fresh coffee and pastries. Bargain for the area.

We had a good night stay, quiet area, not far from Santa Barbara or Ojai, Clean and wonderful service , Definately recommended.

Enjoyed our stay. Quite rural town. Kids enjoyed their mini pool.

Very friendly staff, nice amenities for a low cost room. Not particularly extravagant but very acceptable for a short stay or overnight. I was on a motorcycle trip and was able to get a room where I could park within view of the room. It would have been better for me if they had covered parking but it was just fine.

We were traveling to Ojai area and this Motel had the best Price. It was just 4 miles from Ojai. First I was not sure because I wanted to stay in Ojai but I saved $25. Thanks to Hotels.com. Beds and room was comfortable and I had a great night stay.

the ojai area is not known for inexpensive accommodations less than a week. the oakridge inn is clean, affordable, and conveniently located to ojai and ventura. i'll be back!

This hotel comes listed as outside of Santa Barbara, so be aware that you will be traveling 20 miles EACH WAY to the attractions. Should you want to stay in Ojai, the restaurants close early, so be prepared. Our room was very clean although out dated and smelled of incense. But it served our purposes, so no complaints. Stay for the price, not for comfort.

I travel often to Ojai now and have stayed at the Inn numerous times, it grows on you. Each of the rooms are different and it has a family feel to it. The receptionist really knows what's going on with the rooms and makes every effort to make me comfortable. Thanks, Scott!

Pleasant, convenient, and low-key - Oakridge Inn is an excellent option when visiting Ojai and the surrounding area. We wanted a place to stay that was close to both Casitas and Ojai, and we found it at Oakridge Inn. The room was clean and simple, the bathroom quite spacious. When we decided to spend the evening in our room, Scott rented us a DVD player at a reasonable price. He was very accommodating when we had neglected to give him advance notice that we were bringing our cat with us. We also appreciated the breakfast spread in the lobby. We will definitely stay there next time we drive up.

Cheap doesn't have to mean disgusting. In this case, apparently it did. The ceiling was peeling, the sheets were worn and gross. The fridge and microwave were in the bathroom? Also clearly a very seedy clientele here. I could go on but you get the picture. This place was foul.
