We loved the laid back atmosphere, the friendly guests and staff. It was quiet and away from the traffic but close enough to the town and beach. The beach and ocean was the best we have found. Beats all the places we have gone in Mexico. We will see you again soon. Dan and Cindy

We stayed for three nights during November 2011. The hotel is nice and very convenient to town, though the smell of sewage and cleanliness of hte walkway was unpleasant. Our room was decent, but had quite a few small problems, like the door didn't close and had to be slammed shut. This was also true for our neighbors, meaning we were constantly waking each other up in the morning and at night. The louvers on the AC were missing and the air was blowing on our faces at night, a minor nuisance, but also a really simple fix that shouldn't be overlooked by a decent hotel. The worst part of the hotel room by far was the ants - there were ants on our walls the entire time, big ones on the wall towards the deck and smaller ants in the bathroom. They didn't bother us or get in our stuff, so it wasn't a big deal, but still I'd rather stay in a room that doesn't constantly have something crawiling around on the walls and counter tops. The views are great, breakfast is good, and the location is wonderful, but the room itself was a disappointment.

We were in town for a wedding and found the hotel to be a very quiet oasis from the bustle of the town. The garden setting was really lovely, as were the rooms and restaurant. The staff was incredibly helpful, in particular the concierge - who helped us plan several excursions - and the restaurant staff that remembered our names and how we liked our coffee. We felt really pampered. The only drawback was that there were a lot of stairs everywhere. This is not the place to stay if you have issues with stairs and walking. But if you are looking for a quiet, personal stay, Hotel Jardin del Eden is great.

I highly recommend Hotel Jardin del Eden. The views are amazing from the lobby and the rooms. This hotel is so pretty throughout the complex. The private access to the beach is a narrow alley from the hotel to the street before the beach. It can be scary walking alone, even if it is lit up.

El hotel es muy agradable, bien mantenido en general, bien ubicado a una cuadra de la playa por un pasillo privado. Lo mejor fue el restaurante que tenía una comida de excelente nivel, un menú de lujo y personal muy simpático. Era de mucho mejor calidad que otros restaurantes de Tamarindo, e incluso algo más barato que otros. El desayuno estuvo bien. La habitación estaba muy bonita y limpia, de buen tamaño, lamentablemente no nos dieron la habitación con balcón y vista sino una con salida al jardín, que no era la de la foto de la reservación a pesar de haberla pedido. El aire acondicionado sonaba mucho y lo arreglaron apenas lo indicamos. El baño flamante y moderno. El hotel estaba lleno de iguanas, muy exótico! Lástima que el Coco spa fuera tan caro... si no lo habríamos aprovechado! Se recomienda definitivamente el hotel!

Muy bonito y con buenas vistas. Lo peor el servicio de botones y la piscina sucia.

hotel tres agreable, entretien irrzprochable du superbe jardin et de la piscine acces direct a la plage par un sentier prive par contre nous abons reserver une chambre avec terrasse et a notre arrivee on n en a pas colle nous avons reserve via Hotels.com on n a pas voulu nous changer de chambre .... wifi gratuit dans l hotel mais pas de reseau dans notre chambre petitdejeuner correct il manque qqles variantes de temps en temps
