My only complaint was the lack of heat in the common areas. We were with 3 little girls looking forward to the pool. The pool water and the whole area were FREEZING cold. The breakfast room was also quite cold.

Lady at front desk was very nice. Long blond hair... The carpet in our room was very dirty and filthy.

We found the hotel quite lovely. However, it was rather old and although there are only 2 or 3 floors, there is no elevator. Being a young family with 2 kids, we had a good bit of luggage and had to haul it all up the stairs. That was a little disappointing, but other than that we found it clean and comfortable.

Nice room and it was easy to and from the Interstate. Ten minutes to the Notch.

Nice surroundings, nice staff, hotel under renovations WITHOUT disturbing our stay.

The hotel was under construction (fully-disclosed before we booked) so a lot of debris but the location was perfect. Bed was comfortable. We needed a pet-friendly room and this was a great find.

The room smelted like someone peed in it. My kids could not sleep in that room so thay had to sleep in our room. I payed for two rooms and used one. Not happy with our stay at all.

The room had everything needed and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, but had a weird smell. Fortunately, the smell wasn't too strong and it did not force us to change rooms. We did not spend a lot of time in the room because of the close proximity of hiking trails. When we came back at the end of the day, the hotel was a nice place to relax. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. I would stay here again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was recently renovated & was very nice. Everything was very clean & well maintained. The hot breakfast was very nice. I couldn't ask for a more positive experience. And the price was very reasonable. I would gladly stay here again.

Staff was friendly and accomodating when I got there. The room temperatire was unbelievable hot over the middle of the evening, so I turned on the air conditioner that did not appear to work. Needed to open the window to cool off. Staff leaves at 11, so no one to contact to help out.

This hotel could have spent $40 to refund my fiance and my friends boyfriend, and our weekend would have been better. We were told that we could get discounted tickets at the front desk, but when we went there, they were sold out. The women said, bring your receipt and we'll refund you. When we got back they said, sorry she is new and was wrong. Even if she was wrong, they told us we would get the money, just honor the prices and tell us, just an fyi next time it's first come first serve. Or AT LEAST PUT THAT ON YOUR SIGN. I think this speaks for everything about the hotel, they do everything 50% of the way. On and the towels are the size of a hand towel, so bring your own!!! I'm all about saving money on hotels, and LOVE Holiday Inns. But this place is not worth it in my book.

This hotel provides what one can reasonably expect for a low-end chain hotel right off the interstate. Ground floor room was clean but bland, with a view of the parking lot. Pool was good but hot tub was out of service. The bed was fine but doesn't make any "best-of" list. Like I said, it does the job, but not much more.

This is a good place to stay with kids - pool and decent continental breakfast (waffle maker, egg and sausage sandwiches - we were expecting just cold cereal.) There is no elevator so be prepared to lug your bags up the stairs and we asked for a cot for my 8 year old, but they dont have cots...strange, a hotel with no cots! Nothing around to get a late dinner, had to head to Littleton, approximately 15 minutes away to get pizza with kids.

The location of the hotel is good if you want to go through the white mountains early in the morning. Otherwise very ordinary and there is room for improvment as far as cleanliness is concerned.

I like the location of this hotel as well as the room.

I would recommend this hotel if you want an economic but very comfortable base for touring. There is no restaurant but breakfast is included. Its location is very convenient for the beautiful Franconia Notch as well as other White Mountain scenic locations and trails.

It was great. we loved stay at this hotel, everyting was very nice and clean i would stay there again if im ever in that area

My Fiance and I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in February. We planned on skiing at Loon Mountain and snowmobiling near Bretton Woods. This location was the perfect distance in between the both. Each mountain was about 20-30 minutes away. The hotel was fine for the amount of time we spent in it. The room was clean and big enough for the two of us. The heat took awhile to get the room warm and we found ourselves having to turn it up to 72 degrees to get the room comfortable. It was very cold in Franconia this weekend! The pool look decent along with the hot tub. We did not use either. There was a restaurant on site, but it was closed. The hotel was clean and always smelled very nice! FYI: If you are going to ski you can purchase lift tickets at the front desk. They are discounted slightly and offer passes to Loon, Cannon, and Bretton Woods!

This hotel was fine for use as a base for skiing in New Hampshire. The room was comfortable but I don't like to see soap dispensers in hotel room bathrooms. it makes them feel institutional. At this price, I would expect real soap and shampoo.

Our family stayed here when skiing at Bretton Woods, which is about twenty minutes away. We found the motel to be full of other families, quiet, clean and affordable.

Hotel is in an ideal location for skiers who like a variety of mountain options. You can look at the snow in the morning and pick where you want to head out to. We skied both Cannon (less than 15min drive) and Bretton Woods (approx. 30min drive) on this trip. Excellent bonus of having breakfast in the morning and dryers available to get equipment ready for the next day. Third time we have stayed at this hotel. Not the Ritz Carlton, but definitely the perfect place to rest up in between ski days.

This htel was okay. Staff was good. They no longer have a restarunt (1of my reasons I booked this hotel) they need take it off there website. The restarunt the hotel recommend was not good. Hot Tub was hot but jets didn't work. The humidifier they use in pool area kept making this horrible sound.

BW are all independently owned and operated. They can be hit and miss. This property is off target. An updating of the decor in the past 25 years, would not be out of line. The style of bedspread and furnishings is very dated. Does it affect the stay? not really, Does it affect the way you feel about the stay. YES! I thought the front desk staff was less than helpful, my wife felt I was over critical. Was the breakfast a poor excuse for breakfast, yes. Again it was basic and adequate and let's face it this is the middle of the woods in Vermont, fresh bake goods are not always available. The breakfast room is small... if there was any change or addition, it would be totally un-usable. I can not imagine spending more than two nights here without hating it. We booked it because it was a last minute trip and we needed someplace that took dogs. If fit the basic requirements. Nothing more.

Hotel tres sympa en bord de route, nbses commodités, café et thé a volonté ds la journée, frigo et micro ondes ds la ch, piscine etsalle de fitness a dispo. Pt dej tres complet en buffet. On a juste regretté une mauvaise odeur tenace ds la chambre pr le reste le rapport qualité prix est super !
