Room rates for Victoria, TX seem high on the weekends, but other hotels higher.

was in town for tough mudder in Edna. we were a group of 10 people. this location was perfect right on 59 with a gas station and mcd's next door. yes there's no big restaurants and stores nearby but you take the street next to the hotel and itll take you straight to them. hotel was clean and NOT some rundown old place. breakfast was ok. had a microwave, minifridge, toiletries in room and free wifi. if in area again, will stay there again.

The hotel was fine in its size of room etc, but the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever stayed on- rock hard. I would not recommend it.

The room had a funky smell. The carpets were dirty. The wireless is exteremly slow. There was no pop in the machine. I will not ever stay there again.

This hotel was really nice, especially for the price. The staff was really friendly and helpful. My room came with a nice, fancy couch and a king-sized bed. The bathroom area was large and there was plenty of space to hang clothes. There was also complimentary breakfast which I didn't get to enjoy but the room for it was a good size. The only thing I can complain about is that housekeeping came into the room about 2 hours before it was time to check out...and after we told them not to. A little awkward. Overall a good stay.

Good deal for the price. Rooms are clean. Walls are a little thin so you can hear walking upstairs and neighbors t.v., but I have stayed there 4 times so it is not that bad.

We booked two rooms. There were mice...running in the room! One actually ran across my bed! I went down to the manager and they kindly told me they would be glad to put a mouse trap in the room! Checked out! And then the hotel would not give a refund.

Walls are too thin, I could hear what the next room was watching and talking about.

Our room was clean, although the pullout couch looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. But what put me off was the pillows. I think they were just over stuffed. I ended up not using it becuase it was more comfortable just leaving my head on the matress (which isn't very comfortable). The continental breakfast was ok, about the same thing that everyone else offers: cereal, bagels, danishes, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Overall, it did not end up being a comfortable stay at all, I didn't get much sleep, and I probably wouldn't go back there.

I don't know the next time I will be in Victoria, but when I am I will definitely stay there again. For the price it was a great place to stay!

The thing that got me was that I read all the previous reviews that people left and kind of got discouraged! But the hotel was awesome for the price. The breakfast had sausage,eggs,biscuits,gravy,bagels,toast,danish,cereals,coffee,5 different teas,milk,apple and orange juice and more! I was totally shocked! The room was very clean, I heard no noises from other tenants. The location just happened to be perfect. I went around the whole city of Victoria and had no problems getting back to my hotel at all. Not to mention Mc Donalds is dirrectly next door! I was very pleased with this hotel and every time I go to Victoria, I will be booking here! So people believe me when I say "I'm not quite sure what the previous tenants was expecting,but this hotel is definetly worth every penny,not to mention the great daily rate!"

Do not stay there rooms are hollow could hear people talking next room and foot steps above me. Bed TERRIBLE matress must have been one from a $49 sale. Towels so thin u could rea a paper through them. So called breakfast was a joke. Would sleep beside the road before staying there was scheulded and paid for 2 nights left after one

On 59 - South side of town. Away from most things people will be interested in, but worth the money compared to other hotels in the town

This hotel's online pictures were better than the real thing. parking was an issue, as construction workers were taking up all areas with their trucks. Hotel is not located is the best part of town. Traveling alone, I didn't feel very safe. Room was picked up, but didn't seem completely clean.

If you want to stay in a nice hotel with cold A/C that is drving distance to port lavaca, this is the place. I have stayed in Port Lavaca and its much more expensive and not as clean. Rooms were quite, and we didn't walk into a hot room with the a/c off! Nice stay.

Hotel was very clean and nice. Free breakfast was great - eggs, sausage, juice, cereal, fruit, pastries, etc. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was OK. It was clean but too far away from the city center, at night was a little scarry and some of the other guests staying there were rude and strange. Nice breakfast. I will go back if I couldn't find anything else but wouldn't be my first choice.

The room was HUGE- had 2 Queen beds (not doubles like most places) full-sized kitchen appliances (fridge, stove, sink, microwave). Everything seemed fairly new, clean, and well-maintained. Very good breakfast included cereal, milk, breads, pastries, coffee, juice, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and more. Located right off of HWY 59, but very quiet with easy access to 59 or Victoria. The only problem I can see is that if you want to use the kitchenette, you must provide your own dishes, utensils, etc. as there are none provided. Overall, a wonderful place to stay at a great price!

I was pleasantly suprised when I checked in. The location is just out side of the city but still convenient to all locations. If youre traveling on Highway 59 this is the place to stay. The room was very spacious with a microwave and refrigerator. Would definelty recommend this hotel to others.
