Fantastic hotel and i'll definitely stay there again. To be really picky, the only things to improve on are: 1) Coffee at breakfast - more like the coffee served on an aeroplane. A good Espresso, Latte, etc goes a long way in the morning!! They just need a good coffee maker! 2) Breakfast - could be more imaginative on the hot breakfast offering. As you can see, very minor points! Overall 4 out of 5.

We liked the Lanson - smart and low key but quite trendy and nicely appointed - no restaurant, but breakfast fine and with plenty of good eateries nearby it was no big deal. One minor criticism; we went for the upgrade package which included breakfast for 2 adults; fine, but I thought it a bit petty making me pay for breakfast for my daughter; bearing in mind she's only 4.

This is a well appointed and stylish boutique hotel which, whilst not cheap, is good value for money by Hong Kong standards. I had no significant complaints or criticisms regarding my three day stay there. Everything was well attended to.

Second stay at Lanson Place and the staff once again were exemplary. We had a slightly renovated room which was clean, functional and comfortable. The location of the hotel is great as well. The only complaint - these days travellers expect complementary Wifi - what's the point of an iPod dock or a DVD player when basic technology is at an exorbitant price. I refuse to encourage the exploitation and bought myself a local SIM card which lasted the entire 6 day stay for the price of a couple of hours charged by the hotel.

we stayed at Lanson Place Hotel for 5 nights and it was a great experience. So far, it's the best hotel I've stayed in Hong Kong. Hotel staffs were very helpful and soft spoken. They even speak great engish. The room is clean and spacious, even the hotel lobby has a great sense of comfort. It feels like your home away from home. The interior design of the hotel is very unique especially the bathroom in the lobby. The hotel is 5-10 minute walk to the subway and its also near shopping district like Sogo. I highly recommend this hotel. We will certainly be back here.

Even if it weren't for the perfect location, the quality of rooms and service at this property would put it heads and shoulders above most competition at this price point. From doormen to housekeeping, every employee I interacted with was convivial and highly competent. Room was spacious and well appointed. Location was great for wading directly into the scrum of Hong Kong. We would return in a minute.

Excellent hotel. Great location and hotel staff, Very responsive baesd on guest request. I would think the hotel should include free continent breakfast and wifi access.

For a weeklong get-away to HK, this location was perfect. The property is lovely & every single interaction with staff was a pleasure. We would stay here again anytime.

Lovely staff Good but slightly pricey breakfast You have to pay for wifi which I thought was a bit off There is however free Internet access in the business suite They upgraded our room which was cool. Even though we booked a room for 2 adults/1 child they did not provide a z-bed for my kid. They wanted quite a lot extra a night to provide. So she slept on the sofa with blankets that they provided. These are all little niggles however. We enjoyed the hotel and Hong Kong. We would definitely stay at the Lanson again.

Lovely hotel in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, walking distance from the MTR Station. Our room was nice and clean, but unfortunately smelled of smoke (despite having asked for a non-smoking room). When we complained the next day, we were given another room straight away and we were offered many apologies. Staff at reception was excellent and helpful anyway. So was the concierge. There is no restaurant in the hotel (who needs one in Hong Kong?), but the Lanson Hotel serve breakfast in their lounge. All in all, a hotel I would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay. Was upgraded at time of checkin to a 2 bedroom suite for me and my business partner. IT was a great room with kitchen and also nice family room

I only had 2 days in Hong Kong & wanted to make the most of my stay. I contacted the concierage staff to arrange tours, offer suggestions over a month prior to my arrival. All my emails were promptly returned and followed up. When I arrived, tour confirmations were waiting for me and last minute changes were handled immediately. I can't compliment the concierge staff enough. The put me at ease. The room was lovely. Clean, modern, everything worked, nicely appointed with a luxurious feel. I liked having the kitchenette for morning tea & for take-out when I was just too tired to venture out to a restaurant (& a category 3 typhoon was in effect), which the hotel provided info on). I thing the kitchenette would be a special selling point when traveling with young children for snacks & breakfast. I toured the gym & guest laundry facilities which were utilized by guests. I used the computers in the business center w/o any problems. Lots of high end shopping in the Causeway Bay area (Chanel, Hermes, Prada, etc.). Plenty of 7-11s, Starbucks, etc. close by. Overral, a great hotel experience.

I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It's gorgeous, luxurious, and well located. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'd gladly stay here again. My shower had some issues (the button to make it use the fixed shower head wouldn't stay pushed in), but since I only stayed a night, I didn't want to hassle the staff about it.

Awesome staff and awesome location in Causeway Bay. The neighborhood is awesome with great local eats and sights. My family is from HK and I love that its a great place to meet them. The breakfast is lovely and also the lobby is a nice place to have a drink. The Concierge is excellent and the MTR / subway is not too far away and is 2 stops from central and 1 stop away from the Kowloon Subway line.

This is a strange hotel and I experienced several negatives: I specifically requested a non-smoking floor due to allergies, someone on the floor smoked profusely, it permeated my room to the point I could not sleep, so I asked the hotel staff to do something about it and they did nothing. The hotel charges $20/day for Internet access, which is highway robbery in the year 2011. This is Asia, do you think it costs them $20/day for high-speed internet access? It is this reason alone that I will never stay at this hotel again - it is deeply unethical to mark up Internet access that much. The location is in the middle of a rundown neighborhood The entrance and lobby are on different floors requiring constant elevator use. The hotel "restaurant" is in the lobby area, so you have to approach the front desk every time you want food (to me, this was uncomfortable and irritating after a while) The "restaurant" serves breakfast only and more importantly, there is no room service...they provide a delivery menu for a number of restaurants but it is not the same - it takes a long time to receive your food. Ok, the positives: The bed was delightful - very comfortable I loved the overhead rain shower head, great water pressure and temperature. The room was very nice - it also included a kitchen! Microwave, refrigerator, and stove top included. Kitchen utensils provided too. The exercise area is very nice, very modern. The hotel was two blocks from the Tram system and from the MTR subway system - that is pretty convenient. Taxi wait times were not too long, except for one morning I had to wait 30 minutes for a taxi, even with help of the bellman.

We stayed at the Lanson Place in Hongkong for three nights in May 2011. The location of the hotel is superb, near/in Causeway Bay with lots of shopping and restaurants close-by. The MTR metro is just 5 minutes walk away. The hotel is very well maintained, has an understated elegance etc. Our only peeve was that the rooms felt a little cramped (at least the basic room). The hotel also feels a little too business-like. There's not much of a warmth of service and greetings of Hi/Hello etc. But you're mostly out doing things and these things didn't matter to us much. When interacted, the staff was very polite, cooperative and helpful though. The rooms have a small kitchenette which is well equipped for a family with children to take care of basic cooking needs (although with so many restaurant options nearby, I am not sure you need it). We used it only to make morning coffee and eat breakfast cereals. Overall, I'd have given it a 5-star for its cleanliness, convenience, location etc. The one missing star is for somewhat smallish rooms and the lack of warmth of service. BTW, the internet access at the biz center is free (Hyatt ripped us off with HK$40 for a half hour!)

Fantastic! Great staff, excellent service,nice surrounds and easy access to everything!

I stayed here with my wife and 14 month old baby. I found the location of the hotel, convenient, within easy walking distance to Sogo, Times Square, CWB MTR and Wellcome 24hr supermarket. It was easy to shop as well as groceries to cook for provide for my 14 month old. The hotel also provided a play pen combo bed for my baby, which was nice. The DVD player with the dvds that we brought along also helped to entertain my son while we were preparing his meals Room was clean and ingeniously designed to maximize space. Although could be bigger. Kitchenette was well equipped with utensils, crockery, stove, fridge and microwave. Although I recommend that the hotel consider changng the microwave to a japanese make for more intutive menus when the time comes. Staff was nice and friendly. Note that this hotel does not have a restaurant but there is sitdown breakfast available, which was quite nice.

We enjoyed exceptional service,a very nice room and a most satisfactory four days at this excellent hotel. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and room was spacious and practical.

From the moment I arrived Lanson Place was home. The staff was always accommodating and I enjoyed being greeted with big hellos each time I left and entered the hotel from the lobby staff. My room was cozy and very sufficient for one person. The decor was modern and clean. Loved the free internet usage. Location was fine. A few blocks from the MTR, buses and trams all part of Hong Kongs exemplary transportation system. All I can say is wish I were there now.

I stay in Hong Kong a lot and im really glad I discovered this Hotel. Its a really nice upmarket hotel with real professional staff, the management must be very good to make the hotel experience go this well, the only downside, and I think its really the only one is that although its within walking distance of the MTR and Victoria park, the actual area surrounding the hotel is scruffy and downbeat, consequently unless your in a very high room that can see over the shabby buildings outside then your room view is going to be a bit naff, thats said im sure in years to come the area will improve so its not a fault of the hotel but it may spoil your stay if its a leisure stay and you were hoping to see something nice from your window! All in all then a lot to recommend about this hotel and im sure ill be back

The Hotel combines Charm with also being Modern.

What an amazing time. Not sure which I enjoyed more, my stay at Lanson Place or Hong Kong! Lanson Place was great from the moment we arrived. Friendly, helpful staff and a great hotel with perfect service and location.

Great location. Excellent staff service. Small but well equipped gym. Good size room with Kitchenette. Comfortable and quiet even though you are in the middle of Causeway Bay. The only drawback is the lack of a spa or massage services.

We have travelled to most continents and stayed in many hotels ranging fro 3 to 5 star. Lanson Place was ways up there amongst the best. I can't even remember what its star rating is, but it was the [perfect hotel stay. The staff were courteous, patient, knowledgeable about local places and more than happy to assist. The hotel is chic, minimal and very comfy. In a calss of its own. On our last day, my wife was ill and our check-out time was noon. Unfortunately our flight was late in the evening. The hotel staff offered a late check-out of 7pm and even sent honey and ginger up to the room (unsolicited) so that I could make her a hot toddy. Perfect hotel, perfect service. We would definitely stay there again and unhesitatingly recommend it.

We loved the amenities of the hotel/room because it acutally felt like a home. The staff was excellent and addressed all of our needs. As for location, it was easily accessible by the Metro and is situated away from the central business area. It gets you away from the congestion but is a little more of an effort if you want quick access to some sites. The Metro is very convenient but we didn't especially care for the short walk from the station to the hotel because the block the othel is on is not reflective of the nice hotel. However, this is typcial of Hong Kong where you see old with new everywhere. Safety was never an issue. I do think the hotel should be more specific about charges in the reception area in the evening when they have entertainment. In the U.S. it is not uncommon for appetizers to be complimentry but there is a "sizable" charge per person which was not clearly posted. All in all I would still highly recommend Lanson especially if you are traveling as a family. The service can't be beat...everyone was warm and friendly.

Lanson Place is extremely comfortable and elegant in a simple, modern way. Quiet room, nicely decorated with good white bed linens. The kitchenettes are a great addition! Would definaely stay here again.

Excellent Hotel, one of the best few we have stayed in many countries. Few good positive points ; - Decor : Nice and modern European decor, cosy furnishing and well designed rooms. - Service : Courteous and helpful service staffs, always there to usher you to the lifts, helps with your baggage, shopping bags etc. and greets you everytime with a smile. - Location : walking distance to Causeway bay MTR station, conveniently situated to shopping malls like Times Square, SOGO and local food eateries in the neighbourhood. - Room : Spacious, neat and clean, well equipped with a kitchenette. Housekeeping never fail to replenish 2 bottles of complementary mineral water, bathroom sandles and tissues/toilet rolls. The hotel welcomes you with a fruit basket on your check-in. - Extra mile : The hotel gave a surprise birthday gift for my wife (a nice bottle of chilean wine) in our room. We realise they must have checked our passports for important dates. The thoughtfulness and personal touch was never seen at those global branded hotel chains we have stayed before. Overall, this is one nice cosy hotel that makes you feel as comfortable as home. It is conveniently located in the exciting Causeway bay area yet tucked in a peaceful corner to give you a nice haven to rest and enjoy a true holiday.

Hidden close to Times Square, Lanson Place is a hidden treasure that hopefully won't be found by a lot of people so I can keep the atmosphere the way it is :) Love the place, the service, and the rooms. Just one drawback, Lanson Place does NOT have a restaurant.

ドアボーイ、コンシェルジェ等気遣いが素晴らしいです。部屋も広くはありませんが、機能的な配置で満足しています。日程の関係で1泊しかできませんでしたが、次回もぜひ利用したいと思います。

位置方便，酒店感觉很温馨，干净。服务员态度也很好。

1月中旬に2泊してきました。小さめのレジデンススタイルのホテルと思ったので、サービスは期待していませんでしたが、到着と同時にドアマンが荷物を運んでくれたり、荷造り用の段ボールをくれたり、とても親切でした。部屋はミニキッチン付きのレジデンススタイルで、もっと長期間泊まれれば、より便利だったかも知れません。冬でしたので、唯一残念だったのがバスタブが無い点。冬以外のシーズンでしたら問題無いでしょうね。近くにはコンビニや持ち帰りOKの飲食店も多数あり、とにかく便利な立地。SOGOやタイムズスクエアも徒歩数分なので、買い物したものを置きに帰れたりしました。近くのフットマッサージやさんもとても良かったです。次回はもっとゆっくり泊まってみたいです。

ホテルの位置は分かりにくく、部屋も思っていたより狭い。接客は悪くないが、コストと満足度は比例しない。 今後は泊まらないつもりである。これだけの料金ならもっと良いところに泊まれた。

チェックイン可能時間の３０分後にホテルに到着しましたが、部屋に入るまでに１時間近く待たされました。予定がずれこむのでちょっとつらかったです。 部屋自体はわりと広めのカテゴリーだったので過ごすのは快適だったですが、なにせ床がきたない。。。カーペットに毛や食べ物カスが落ちまくりでした。掃除機くらいきちっとかけて欲しいです。 ソファも薄汚れたかんじだったので持参していた新しいレジャーシートを敷いて使用していました。 ホテル外観　全体的なスタッフの対応は決して悪くはなかったです。 立地は香港の眺望をのぞまないのであれば比較的便利です。 銅羅湾駅から徒歩１０分かからないし、リーガーデン、タイムズスクエアといったショッピングモールも余裕の徒歩範囲なので、疲れたら一回帰ってくることができるので便利でした。

唯一缺点，附件印尼人比较多，不存在歧视，只是觉得有点别扭。
