Great Hotel with a great location. Staff was friendly. Only problem was room service, the quality and presentation of the food was very weak. Ordered the Chicken Parilla the night i arrived and it was two small pieces of chicken with nothing else on it and some soggy cold french fries. However there are so many great restaurants within walking distance that it really doesnt matter.

Very close to harbour and to the shopping area. Nice place to stay, Very friendly staff. Rooms are nice. Breakfast excellent.

Just returned from 2 nights at the Molina. The classic rooms are big and comfortable - we had a inside room so weren't disturbed by the noise that some reviewers wrote about. Location is great with everything on the doorstep and within easy walking distance. staff at the hotel were less than helpful, in fact we had never experinced such a rude receptionist as the one on duty on New Years Eve. The bar and resturant were closed to residents who didn't want to pay the 120 euro's for the NY eve dinner - Nobody bothered to let gusets know. Don't bother with the breakfast, its really expensive and you can get much better on the street.

good quality hotel, large modern room. perfect location, 200 yards from cathedral and town centre. pool area very nice.

had two nights stay in Malaga due to travel plans while this was certainly an adequate hotel, I preferred th AC Palacio for bed and overall feeling. The location is a definate plus, and wouldn't avoid the hotel, but would choose the Palacio over this given an option and comparable pricing. Still overall a satisfying stay, would stay again

Clean and smart with helpful staff. Roof terrace bar great at night with spectacular views. We had a good view of Cathedral from our room which was clean and comfortable with quiet aircon. Perfect position for exploring the centre and shopping! Didn't try breakfast as seemed expensive.

this was our 2nd visit and we werent disappionted ,hotel is in a great loction.we would stay here again nothing to stay but good things for hotel and staff ,

Love the Molina Lario! What a perfect way to end our trip to S. Spain. The hotel was super clean, modern, and very very comfortable. Across the street from the Cathedral and all shops, cafes, bars, etc... are right at the hotel door step pretty much. We had a balcony room overlooking the street, and even with the festivites going on in the street our room was quiet with the balcony door shut. Will definately stay at the Molina Lario next time in Malaga.

nice hotel in a good location would recommend we were in malaga at this hotel for eight days and found it a good place to have beach/sights/nightlife/restaurants all on the doorstep

Overall a good hotel in an excellent location and friendly staff. Our only issue was the size of the pool and sunbathing deck being too small for the number of guests wanting to use it. Views from the pool deck are great if you can find a space.

Ideal location of hotel for local attractions, cathedral, picasso museum, castle, port, beach shopping and restaurants. Very easy transfer from new airport railway station to Malaga Centro 1 euro 30, cross bridge and 10 minute walk towards port. free internet access and library (with discount vouchers for local restaurants) easy access by train down as far as Fuengirola or bus upto Nerja. As Spain is now non smoking in public areas it is much nicer visiting bars etc.

Excellent well appointed hotel in centre of Malaga very close to cathedral. Airport Buss stop 50 yds from the hotel and all main bus routes very close. Many Tapas Bars beside the hotel although excellent restaurant and bar in hotel. Friendly staff well appointed hotel. Would stay again

A superb central modern and well presented hotel with a welcoming and comfortable reception, helpful and proud of their city giving accurate informationand even printing for us from our computer. 3 lifts,( no waiting) spacious and comfortable foyer. Superbly comfortable rooms. Surrounded by restuarants with the complimentary umbrellas useful in the rain. would return any time.

Very good hotel, we did have an issue with a smell in the room, i think it was sewerage or something, and i had to report it three times. but in spite of that i would stay there again (in another room) 112 by the way. everthing else was perfect, location, staff, food, breakfast was fine, but the evening meal we had was second to none, and i am fussy !! well done.

We were a group of six women and couldn't fault this hotel ( Some of us are very fussy! ). Location was perfect within walking distance of everything. Hotel was clean and nicely decorated.Dinner was nicest we had in Malaga. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Pool area was nice but needs more sunbeds and open the bar!! If we returned to Malaga we would all stay here.

Centre of town yet very quiet Loads of eating places within 5 minute walk Breakfast seemed very expensive at 15 euros Staff very helpful. In our bathroom the towel rail above the bath was coming off the wall and could have fallen into the bath.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and were very impressed with it. The room (standard grade) was modern and very clean. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel was in a very good location for sightseeing in Malaga (near to the cathedral and one of the hop on/hop off sightseeing tour bus stops). We thought the buffet breakfast (we had a room only deal) was a little bit pricey, but there are plenty of other cafes and restaurants nearby so it wasn't a problem. The breakfast in the hotel was nice, you just had to eat and drink plenty to get your money's worth!! Overall, we liked this hotel very much and would definitely stay there again.

We only stayed one night but we wished we cold have stayed longer! Room was great!

This hotel is right in the city center, great location. If you are wanting to pay this much for a hotel, you won't be let down. The staff is friendly, courteous, and easy to get a long with. Rooms are really nice and clean. Hotel is beautiful. The rooftop pool is really nice, and also has lounging area and a rooftop bar.

Perfect located for sightseeing and shopping. Friendly staff and very clean and nice rooms (lived in a superior room). Balcony was more like a "french balcony", no place to sit. But it is an inner city hotel so it didn't really matter.

Hotel is perfectly positioned between the harbour/sea front and the commercial centre. Everywhere you would want visit is within an easy walking distance. It is well appointed, if a little characterless. It is very much an efficient, business type hotel, but very comfortable none the less. Probably a little over priced, but a good, if forgetable, place to stay for a few days. Importantly for myself, despite being central, the room was silent, so sleep was uninterupted.

This hotel was perfectly located for touring activities in the beautiful city of Malaga - a short walk to the Picasso Museum, Alcazaba, Cathedral, numerous restaurants and shopping, waterfront and park areas, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful in any of several languages, including English. My wife found the bed a tad hard, though I was Ok with it. The rooms were pleasant, spacious, and very well kept.

The hotel was exceptionally maintained and is a relatively new property. It is a boutique hotel and the staff works very hard to accomadate the guests needs. Tou may have to wait a few minutes for a request but I personnally expected that and didn't mind. I enjoyed the smaller hotel and intimacy of the place. Juan Carlos at the front desk was extremely helpful and nice. I found most of the staff very accomadating. The breakfast far exceeded my expectations, don't forget to order hot items from the menu. You'll have to flag down the wait staff for that. It is set up mostly for self service, but thankfully you don't have to wait for coffee or tea.

Hotel is very centrally located. Rooms are very comfortable, staff very helpful and facilities of courtyard and terrace with swimming pool were great, although I think that getting a seat on the terrace might be a bit tricky at the height of summer. There are a number of good restaurants in the suurounding area and close to all the major tourist spots. I can't think of anything negative to say about this hotel.

We loved the hotel, location and staff. The big problem was the beds. They were extremely uncomfortable.

This hotel was perfect! Location was great - close to the center (many shops and restaurants), and just a 10 minute walk to the beach. Our room was very big (especially for european standards). We also had a huge terrace. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Will definitely be staying here again. Great hotel at a great price.

Hotel is located across the street from the water and at the edge of the commercial shopping district. The room was clean and comfrotable and the free wifi was an added perk. The rooftop pool and pool deck was small and had few deck chair for people to actually enjoy the pool.

Stayed at hotel in July 09. Location very central to all amenities. Hotel staff very helpful and spoke very good english. Hotel very comfortable and clean. Parking costly as it is charges seperately

What a great hotel, perfect location, just round the corner from all the little streets packed with bars, restaurants & shops and the beautiful shopping street leading to the Central Square. Also only a 10 minute walk through gardens and fountains to the beach. The hotels bar in the middle of the hotel is fab, although they pour the spirits in front of you until you stay stop, otherwise they keep pouring!!!!!! The roof top pool is very small, but didn't feel the need to use it as beach was so close. Hotel restaurant was quite expesnive, don't need to go there though when there are so many tapas bars and restaurants on your doorstep.

We stayed at the Molina Lario during the first three days of our honeymoon in Andalucia and had a wonderful time. The hotel is modern, very well maintained, comfortable, and has a fantastic location. It was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Spain (including Barcelona and Mallorca). The rooftop bar with a pool and a gorgeous view of the lit-up cathedral was especially memorable.

The Molino Lario is right in the heart of the city, overlooking the cathedral, close to the Picasso Museum and just a ten minute walk from the Malagueta Beach. Even better was the fact that the airport bus stopped just across the street. The quality of service, room and facilities were excellent too. We'll be staying again for sure.

This is a touch of class right in the centre of Malaga upmarket shopping area. Service is extrememly efficient, friendly, and professional. Rooms really well appointed, comfortable, and in addition to the usual Tv etc a decent radio/cd player. We tried the restaurant for an evening meal and this is an absolute gem and very reasonably priced for a superb presentation,service and the food was delicious. Stayed here 2 years ago and would have no hesitation in highly recommending all aspects.

Went on business and stayed for the weekend with partner. Didn't like it on first impression: seemed a bit clinical in style. But it grew on me. It has lots of areas and facilities that make it interesting, some of which you stumble across, such as the open air lounge on the roof, a few steps down from the swimming pool, candlelit at night. But it's small enough for the staff to know you, who were excellent. The rooftop pool is too small to swim in properly but it creates a great atmosphere for the bar there, and the ground floor terrace is atmospheric at night too. The laundry service isn't the hotel's strong point, nor is the speed of the lifts, but that is being picky. It's location is perfect. Malaga is a much much more interesting, indulgent and stylish city than you might expect. Spent almost a week there and would go again. I'd definitely stay in the same place too. Molina Lario is very good value.

Overall a nice hotel but for the price felt let down by the poor beds, breakfast, and no towels by the pool.

Vi skulle ha en liten weekend, og endte opp svært tilfreds. Vi trodde at vi hadde bestilt balkong, men hotellet hadde kun to balkonger... Og det var suittene.. Vi fikk da tildelt en av de to suittene, uten ekstra omkostninger...og der var det ingenting å utsette.., bortsett fra dei harde sengene da, som alltid er under pari i utlandet...men det er sentralt, midt i sentrum, uten mye bråk..god frokost, passelig stort og hyggelig service :-) vi skal dit igjen...

Som rubriken antyder ligger det här hotellet så centralt det bara går.Tvärs över gatan ligger hamnen, ner i närmsta gata så hamnar man på stora shoppinggatan i Malaga.Eftersom jag är nattmänniska så testade jag aldrig frukosten men den har fått fina recensioner av andra gäster, restaurangen däremot kan jag rekommendera till 100%, sängarna är lite hårda som de brukar vara i Spanien men det var inga problem att få en extra madrass.Takpoolen var inte uppvärmd vid mitt besök (feb) och den verkade något nergången i mitt tycke, dock fräscht i övrigt på takplatsen.Är man i den här delen av Spanien för att gå på stranden så skulle jag rekommendera boende i kringliggande orter tex.Torremolinos, endast 2€ tur och retur med tåg från Malaga centrum.Det tar dig 10-15 minuter att gå från hotellet till Malaguena, Malagas strand i centrum.Vill också passa på och rekommendera en restaurang vid namn Citron som ligger på Plaza Merced som har en bred meny med svenska ägare, passar ju således oss nordbor väldigt bra!

Molina Lario er et moderne hotell rett ved katedralen i Malaga. Rett utenfor døren finnes et bra restaurantområde. hotellet ligger sentralt. Vi fikk svært god service, og gratis oppgradering. Romslig og moderne rom med ekstra detaljer slik som stereo og morgenkåpe. Anbefales!
