Hotel Sorrento City - سورينتو

Very happy with Hotel Sorrento City. Staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. Room was very comfortable with the only drawback being the TV in the room had only one Engligh speaking channel (MTV...ugh). Excellent location and easy to find right on the main street near the train station. Very good breakfast and free Wi-Fi included which worked very well in the room. Highly recommend Hotel Sorrento City.

The hotel was one block away from the train, bus station and the Marina. The staff was helpful and friendly. We liked the modern decor of this hotel and the rooftop patio. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. However, we were four people in a very small room with bunk beds, it felt too crowded. The first floor was too noisy in the morning, so I suggest if you stay here request the second or third floor. I would stay here again.

We had a beautiful stay on this hotel. Our room was a bit small but it was very comfortable in front with a beautiful balcony. Staff was very kind and helpful and breakfast was nice.

I travelled with a friend to Sorrento, and after reading reviews chose Sorrento City. I'm glad we did. It was a couple of minutes leisurely walk from the train and bus station, where we got all the transport we wanted to visit all the tourist things we wanted to visit, e.g. Amalfi coast drive, Pompei, Herculeane, Versovious, Capri (beautiful island) The hotel was right in the city, next door to a suoermarket, really welcoming restaurant - Red LIon and David ice cream pralour on the way to the station. THe harbours were comfortable walks on the way, uphill coming back, but fun to walk!!!! Lots of lovely churches to visit in the town, none of them charged. Plenty of shops to wander around, and they didn't close until late. We had our own rooms in the hotel which was very comfortable, staff were welcoming and the reception staff spoke English. Only a small hotel - 8 rooms, so you felt the staff got to know you - we stayed 7 nights. We would highly recommend this hotel for all the right reasons, within budget and gave us a good base to have our holiday from. If you choose this hotel a lovely place to visit is the local lemon groves, turn right out of the hotel, walk about 5 - 10 minutes along main road and o n the other side of the road you'll see the netted groves, it is public land with people owning the trees, walk around for chill out time. In the centre is a stall selling produce, and when we were there a very pleasant assitstant who told us all about the grove. We discovered it after walking uphill into the mountains in Amalfi to see the lemon groves, however do that walk as well if you have time Beware the drivers - I think they think pedestrians are from another planet, but all added to the memories of the holiday. We would certainly go back if we were returning to Sorrento.

My wife and I enjoyed a visit to Sorrento last week where we stayed at the centrally-located Hotel Sorrento City. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities clean and elegant. The showers are a little tight, but we encountered the same sizes in Rome and Naples hotels. The hotel is a short walk from the train/bus station, the central piazza, the intriguing Deep Valley of the Mills (a medieval mill around 30 feet below street level), the charming alleys and side streets, the orange and lemon grove, and all that Sorrento has to offer. We loved our stay here.

My sister, niece and I were very satisfied with this hotel, perfect location for the shops and train station. The staff were very helpful, and after we had checked out, and were walking to catch a train, Theresa, from the reception desk, ran after us, as we had forgotten a phone charger and adapter! I would recommend this hotel , especially for 3 female tourists who had never been to Italy before. Christine G

I was concerned that this hotel would be noisy because it is right on the main street of Sorrento. Luckily, because we needed a room for 4 (family with 2 teenagers), they put us in the larger room in the back. There was no noise from the street but noise from the lobby one floor below us and other hotel patrons walking in the corridors, opening and closing doors came right into our room. If you are a light sleeper, beware as you won't fall asleep until the last person is in and will be up when the first person leaves their room. We needed to use earplugs to get a good night sleep. Besides this, the service was excellent with a nice breakfast included. Our room was a bit tight for 4 but we managed and were only there to sleep. The location is good; very close to everything and only a 2 minute walk from the train station.

Great room, breakfast was not great but alright I guess. Room and bathroom are very small but had a great balcony.

As with many tourists coming to Sorrento, we were working our way around the coastal area. This hotel is just ideal for setting up a base of operations for exploring. 5 minutes walk from the Circumvesuviana train station / bus station, on the single main street. 2 minutes further down that main street is the main square. While near the station, you are not in a seedy station ghetto or ugly commercial area. The hotel is in the upscale section of the main street that has plenty of shops and restaurants. There is a full supermarket right nearby. The breakfast was a very nice continental buffet. The staff were very solicitous and provided suggestions for restaurants, hikes and activities, complete with maps and current train/bus/ferry schedules and were very concerned for our comfort. We accidentally broke a vase and they didn't charge us for it. If you are spending a longer time in Sorrento, or if you are spending a lot more money, perhaps you will prefer to have a room far from the main part of town with a picturesque view and antique charm, sited on a cliff or among lemon groves. But if you want clean, convenient and moderately priced while you enjoy your picturesque views and antique charm on the hoof, this hotel is just perfect.

Hard to find, but well worth the effort. Nice room, small but very clean.

Hotel Sorrento City was perfectly located and the people working there were wonderfully helpful. The "courtyard view" was actually a 2x3 meter courtyard and the coffee with the morning breakfast was the mediocre kind from a machine, but those were the only drawbacks. Otherwise, a great place for the price.

We spent 1 night at Hotel Sorrento City and were happy with our stay. We arrived early in the day and got into our room right away, which was nice. The room was good and clean. Not real big, but OK. WiFi is only available in the lobby, but is free. Breakfast was fine. Close to some good restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. The real plus for us was that it was only a couple minute walk to the train station.

Hotel Sorrento is a small hotel with 12 rooms. It is located in the main street of sorrento & is close to everything e.g. shops, restraurants, buses, trains & the ferry. Our room was twin share with a balcony over looking the street which was great. The bedroom & bathroom were modern. The breakfast was fine. The staff were very friendly & helpful. On request they suggested good restraurants to eat at & were very helpful in downloading bus timetables & giving us advice on the best way to reach our next destination. The only downside of the hotel is that there computer for internet is very slow.

Hotel Sorrento City was a great stay to tour the Amalfi Coast and Capri. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Our room had two parents and two teenagers and it worked out very well! The Sorrento area is absolutely beautiful and the hotel definitely is an asset to the area. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

this hotel is basic don't go expecting the Hilton or Marriott but in saying that you get what you pay for. the staff were very helpful, the hotel is very clean the breakfast is not bad. it is extremely central and close to the main square and all facilities i stayed there with a child not recommended ideal for a couple that will spend most of their time out of the hotel ideal just for sleeping in.

Room very clean, comfortable. Parking space reserved as requested. We immediately requested an extra night which was possible. This hotel is right in the main street of Sorrento....accessible to shops, transport easily. No sea views, but for us accessibility (lots of flat walking in Sorrento, and Hotel has a lift) was main issue so it suited perfectly. Breakfast was generous European style, but plenty of variety. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it as a small (Boutique style hotel....only a few well-appointed rooms), clean, comfy, friendly environment in the heart of Sorrento! Free Wi-fi internet in the lobby was great....bring your own laptop (free), or use the hotel's PC (small cost)....a great place in a city we loved! Reception attendant recommended places to eat....we tried one, and that was it....wonderful, authentic Italian food....we ate there each night to try different dishes.

The hotel location is excellent. It is walking distance to the train station and on the main street in Sorrento. It is walking distance to the shops and restaurants. This is a small hotel with ~14 rooms. The rooms are clean, small and simple. Overall, a good value for a stay in Sorrento.

Location was key here - the Sorrento City is a simple hotel situated 2 blocks from train station and 2 blocks to old city center. It was clean and the front desk was helpful.

This hotel was the perfect location for Sorrento! It was so close to the beach and the city center! We had a fantastic time. The doors to the room were located on the street and you could hear all of the traffic. If we could have had an inside room this hotel woud be perfect!

This is a great hotel overall, it makes a five star business hotel certainly but if you are there as a tourist it's not exactly close to attraction areas but still within a reasonable walking distance. Surrounding nieghborhood is not good but didn't matter to us. The guy who checked us in was great and helpful but the three ladies who checked us out next morning where quite unfriendly to say the least, they also charged us for an extra day of parking fee since we left the car in garage for a few hours passed check out time. Overall still strongly recommended.

Hotel Sorrento City was a fantastic stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. Location is the best! Close to everything. We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is for someone on the go. Its 2 minute walk from the train & bus station, 5 minute walk to the harbor to catch a boat. The staff are very helpful and at the desk 24 hours a day. If your the kind of person who wants a pool and likes to sleep in this is not for you. This hotel is in the center of Sorrento with balconies in your room looking down on the main street that shuts down at night until 7:00 am then the traffic begins.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. All of the staff were so helpful with providing information and suggestions. The breakfast was a nice variety and freshly baked. The room was a little small, but comfortable, and we had a nice little balcony from which it was fun to do some people watching. We were right down the street from the Piazza Tasso, the main square of the city and within walking distance to everything.

Sulla via principale, piccolo hotel recentemente ristrutturato davvero confortevole e con personale molto cortese. Consigliatissimo per godersi la città!!!

Ett litet hotell som ligger perfekt placerat i Sorrento. Rummen var helt ok för några dagars vistelse. Frukosten var dock ingen höjdare men ok om man bara stannar i några dagar.
