We were dissappointed by the additional charges that were charged at the hotel, especially those associated with staying with a pet. I guess we expected more for the price we were paying. With that said we were very happy that our pet was allowed to stay in our room unattended while we skied providing that he stayed quiet and that we provided a contact number. We were also pleased with the outdoor hottub. Getting around the hotel seemed like a bit of a maze and we often felt like we had to do a lot of running around just to gather equipment or to take the dawg for a walk. My biggest dissappointment was the fact that there was no fridge or microwave in the room- it was difficult to figure out, based on the room descriptions, what rooms had what.

I wasn't sure about the hotel from previous reviews I had read, but found out that the reviews were badly out of date as previous issues mentioned had all corrected. The hotel was clean and in excellent shape, no old carpets as one reviewer had noted and all facilities were in tip top shape. Flat screen tv's in the rooms, hot tubs were fully functional, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great ski out right from hotel. Ski mountain was great family mountain, lots of intermediate runs, perhaps a little light on the very challenging runs but caters to 80% of the skiers. Mountain staff were very friendly and snow was superb.

It was great. The restaurant staff was fabulous, thelocation was great, the checkout fellow was pleasant, but the checking staff just seemed bored. I would go back again despite the checking service.

Parking was very limited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Hallway doors banged until 1.30 each night and kept us from having a good sleep.

Wait a long time to check in (More than 1 hour)

Had a fantastic stay.

Was attending a conference at a neighbouring property, but the room rates were almost half of that hotel. Nice rooms, quiet and comfortable.

Our sat nav took us the long way and we arrived quite late. The night manager was very helpful. it was off season so the lodge didn't have many guests. The rooms were spacious and we had security parking. Sun Peaks is a ski resort and the quality of the lodges is very high. The cost was below our other stays on this holiday. We chose this location because our destination was Jasper. Sun Peaks was about halfway.

It was perfect for our needs. Will definitely stay there again

The room was nice over all and the front desk service was excellent, we had an amazing view of a zoom boom out of our window and the whole hotel went into lock down and we couldn't leave after a certain time. We ate at their restaurant and the food was mediocre what made me angry was that 2 beers and a plate of spinach dip was 29 dollars which is fine but I gave the waitress 50 dollars and only got 10 back in change our waitress seemed to be preoccupied with the only other guest in the restaurant so the service was lack luster. For the amount paid here and the other hotels around the area I could have stayed somewhere else and most likely will.

No air-conditioning and the rooms were like a furnace when we arrived.

Very helpful staff. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Room was not air conditioned, so it was a little too warm in July, but afterall it is a ski lodge.

We enjoyed our stay very much except for the very poor quality of sleep. beds in our room were very uncomfortable and we both slept very little. our 3 older girls were in another room and said the beds were much better . I would also like to comment on the lack of air conditioning in the rooms which makes it very difficult to sleep in hot summer months. While these are negative comments, I would like to also say we were treated very well by all staff and very much liked the hotel in general. We would definitely personally check the location of the room and quality of the beds first on our next stay.

Excellent staff and service. Good accommodation. Pleased with rates. Hotel amenities: don't know, we didn't check them out, but happy with the use of a nearby pool and hot tub.

This hotel provided a great escape for the weekend. The staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only minor negagitves I have against the place was the quality of the wifi service. Even the optional paid service as terrible. As business owners we had to check our emails for a couple hours and it was not possible due to the slow service. Also, parking is very crowded and not very organized. We had to walk 2km after checking in so its best to arrive early in the day. But overall this hotel was great value and we had a very nice time.

The staff was great, especially the housekeeping lady. The rooms worked good and location was great. The toaster didn't work and they did not provide proper coffee filters and coffee. If you are at the end of the hall it is very noisy when people go up and down the stairs in there ski boots. Overall a good place and value.

Our stay was good at the Hotel, staff was very accomodating. The Restaurant, Kelly and staff were excellent, wonderful service and food. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic room we had. Really wish we had stayed longer than one night. Hope to return for a longer visit.

We enjoyed the hotel and amenities a lot. The location has some great views and very good restaurants.

Rooms designed for long stay w/ kitchen facilities. Very clean, good staff. Interior room lighting is poorly designed and low level. No gasoline available in town. Gas up at Hefley Creek when leave main hiway.

Het hotel is goed, jammer dat er geen airco op de kamer is. Toch wel een gemis bij 28gr. Ontbijt is ook inbegrepen. Verder is er weinig te doen 's zomers in Sun Peaks. Het is een mooi resort, maar niet te vergelijken met Whistler. Te weinig restaurants en winkels. De omgeving is mooi voor mountainbiking, wandelingen en rust. en 's winters uiteraard voor skieën.
