Although the decor was dated and needs to be freshened up, the staff of the hotel was outstanding. The young lady helping us with check-in was extremely helpful making sure we had the right type of room for our short layover airport stay. She did not mind at all when we switched to another room after it seemed apparent that a prior guest had been smoking in a non-smoking room. We were overwhelmingly happy with the lovely lady at the front desk in the morning who not only welcomed us with a smile at 5am, but she got the entire breakfast buffet ready earlier than their usual 6am so that our family and two kids could have breakfast prior to leaving for the airport. She was so gracious and her service was exceptional because we had a long day of traveling ahead of us and it started out so much bettert with our two kids being fed at such an early hour!

it was ok for the price. i would not stay again. it was clean but old. The manager was on the business phone, his cell and talking loudly constantly while we sat in the lobby. sonic across the street.

this hotel was very nice stay for me. The staff were very good and worked well with me as a customer. I would not hesitate to use this hotel again I would recommend this hotel to family and friends Best Regards

Great deal for the price! Clean rooms, nice staff, and right by the airport.

I had to wait for over an hour to get picked up by your airport shuttle service. This is not acceptable.

Good and basic motel for an overnight from the airport. Good shuttle service that was free.

Super 8 Motel is a low budget hotel, however, the level of maintenance and service was of a much higher ticket hotel. Clean, nicely painted and maintained, shuttle to the airport, decent breakfast and nice personnel. Good job!

The airport shuttle came to get me from the airport within 5 minutes of me calling the hotel from baggage claim after a cancelled flight. The room was clean and hotel was within walking distance to a couple restaurants, Sonic, gas stations for "must-haves" when stuck there overnight. Overall, perfect for a quick overnight stay--nothing fancy but no complaints!

Room was nice and spacious, clean, and staff was wonderful. The only problems I had was the smoke alarm in my room kept going off, but they fixed that. Also my power outlet in the restroom wouldn't work, nor did they fix it. No offers were made to switch rooms.

I was surprise by how clean the hotel was and how close it was to the airport. The breakfast was great and the shuttle service was on time. Overall I was very pleased. I would recommend it.

Excellent staff, clean environment in all. The only thing you are expected to cook your porrige in a polysterene bowl! Also the strong smell of cigarettes on corridors

My name is Ed I stayed at the hotel. The biggest disappointment was the transfer from the airport to the hotel. The transfer took at least an hour and several phone calls to the hotel. Finally I was able to hook up with the driver and I realize how he is so frustrated as he had to go to the car parks and drop people off. There was an elderly man who got on the bus and fell trying to climb the stairs. The driver finally made an effort to help the man get on the bus.The hotel power went off and stayed off during the night for atleast 4-5 hours. Not sure why it happened. The room got hot and I could hear the commotion downstairs so I just went to bed until the lights came back on.The check out staff we VERY GOOD!!! I rank them 5 stars. The breakfast was very good!

Reception not as PR friendly as most should be....just getting the job done. Probably pay doesn't warrent it??! but, that's from observation from many years of travel. Old carpeting and smell, but very clean sheets/tub/toilet. Complimentary shuttle to airport Wafflehouse nearby gives a little discount!!

Nice hotel for the price. The free breakfast was kinda disappointing, but hey it was free. The room was overall clean, but i took off a point because even though it was a non-smoking room, it still had a stale cigarette smoke scent when I walked in. I got used to it after a while though. The service at the front desk was really good though. The people were friendly and the airport shuttle service is very convenient. Oh yeah, having free wi-fi is always a plus too. I'd recommend this place to someone who had an overnight layover.

Nice staff and clean rooms comfy bed and a no nonsense kind of attitude. Will use it again and recommend it for a quick stay at a very low price .

We were very pleased. We just needed a place to stay during an overnight flight connection. The staff was very efficient and friendly in informing us of the shuttle from airport, which only took a few minutes. This is were I will stay next time.

Room was clean as far as appearances. Carpet had abig red stain on the carpet next to the bed as if a bottle of nail polish was dropped on it. I pulled back the sheets and the top sheet had stains all over it from on corner to the next. I stayed there on a Tuesday and know or assumed no one had been in or stayed in that room since the previous Saturday as it was daylight saving time and the clock had not been changed. I've stayed in better for less.

Good value good location. I'd stay there again.

The front desk staff was courteous and attentive. The room was very big, clean, and smelled really nice. They scheduled the free shuttle and made sure he was on time at 3:30 am. Not a single complaint. Will stay there again!

I loved staying at the Super 8 and the staff was nice. It completely met my needs. It was great. Very nice room and very clean.

Hotel was nice, beds were comfy, Queen size not standard size. The carpet needed cleaning but overall a nice place.

It is reasonably priced and no frills as all super 8's are . This one was well worn but the staff were very nice and friendly. Carpets were dirty, just vaccuuming doesn't do it. Chairs had iron burns in the seats, Just the basics. Only had to catch a few hours sleep so it worked. Would probably not stay there again. Lots of hotels just as close to the airport for the price.

airport access excellent - efficient shuttle. acceptable quick breakfast. sheets and towels fresh. sealed windows not helpful if you have mold and mildew sensitivity. have an antihistamine handy.

Excellent airport service and acceptable quick breakfast. Sheets and towels are fresh. There must be a way to convince management of so many hotels that the increasing trend of building hermetically sealed hotels creates musty moldy environments. Usually a move to another room will reduce the problem but this is becoming a less dependable solution.

I think it was good value for money. Pros - Free Shuttle from Airport, courteous staff, room was clean and was smelling good, Free wifi in the room Cons - Not many options to eat in the nighbourhood (I am vegan, so for me it was specially difficult) Overall, I would recommend it to a friend...

The room needed repairs. The room just looked very used

Shuttle to IAH runs on a schedule and is always ontime. From airport it is spotty. I waited 20 and 25 minutes for the shuttle my last two trips.

I've stayed here multiple times...I have also stayed in other hotels around the area and this Super-8 is the cheapest, but the cleaniness and staff are great and definitely comparable to those who charge $20-40 more per night.

This Motel is okay for the price. The room was fairly decent and the staff was not mean. My husband and I are planning to move to Texas and he had his first interview Monday. Since we were driving a long way we had to stay overnight somewhere and this Motel was priced within our budget. I must say this is not the best Motel but it is not the worst. There was a small baby spider on my pillow when we arrived but that was no big deal spiders are common to find. I would suggest never to use the coffee pot though. Ours was very dirty and had leftover coffee in it. I'm pregnant so getting comfortable for sleep is an issue, but my husband had comfort issues with the bed as well. It was too hard and the pillows had no fluff whatsoever. Three pillows come on the bed in the King suite so I sent my husband down to get four more since it was late and the front desk said there was no one to send them up. He came back with two and said that was all the front desk clerk had to spare. Other than those things we found nothing wrong at all with our room. We didn't get much sleep due to the bed, but it was an okay stay for the price.

the location is great if ur just looking for a quick layover in houston or doing any work by the hotel. The hotel its self looks nice but the rooms need a little more work to them they kind of seemed slapped together. But for the rate and location they did the job for the night.

The only con from my experience is that the shuttle to get to the hotel doesn't run autmatically. It took several phone calls to be able to get the shuttle. The other flight attendant applicant I met at the hotel had the same issues. If you're looking for a budget friendly hotel, which is close to the airport with friendly customer service this is the place to stay! I would stay here again. If you're here for the interview process some of the morning bus drivers will take you right to the inflight training center, otherwise they drop you at terminal E where you catch a shuttle which only runs once every half hour. Due to the hard time with the shuttle the day before I caught the 7:30 shuttle, and the driver was nice enough to take us to the infligh training center we arrived by 7:40 and there were already many candidates wating
