I stayed here one night on a flight layover. Chosen because it was near the airport , .. appeared .. to be a reasonable price and advertised a lovely little spa jacuzzi area. Awful and the price changed as they overcharged for internet, charged to use the jacuzzi.and had a bad overpriced restaurant. No stores nearby and they really had no nice juice or anything.. even for purchase..except some junk vending machine things.. for the weary traveler. The .. restaurant was not open until late.. so could get nothing..what is the traveler to do when there is nothing closeby either open? Spend a mint on a cab to grab a bite? Later for dinner..food was overpriced and very bad. Breakfast was nasty fake breads and ugly lunchmeat mostly..freeze dried coffee.. fake juice.. at least they had some oranges and apples out. The room was freezing. They gave me a little heater.. then when I complained about the extra 20 euro for jacuzzi and internet.. they mentioned extra electricity I had used .. in their freezing room! They told me there was an airport shuttle every hour ..then next morning .. said ..no just some periods. There goes another 40 euro. The old elevator was maddenly slow. Nasty attitude from front desk.. could just see them thinking I was the difficult american. Dont bother.. choose someplace else... not a nice place to be and they find ways to get to you for more money.

This hotel is the worst one I lived in around the world. If not the money had been prepaid when booking, I would change one without any hesitate. This hotel is not suitable to common tourists to Rome at all, the following are the reasons. 1. Far and expensive to the airport. The main reason I chose this hotel was that it looks near Fiumicino airport on map and we had an early fly on morning. However, finally we found that there was no directly way from airport to this hotel except taxi, which cost more than 30 Euro. And from this hotel to airport, the only way is to use their shuttle bus, which costs 15 Euro. And this shuttle service starts only 7 on morning. If it is too late, you still need to book a taxi. This service and price is shameful, because from termini station, the center of Rome city, to Fiumicino, aerobus costs 4 Euro, regional train costs 8 Euro, and Express train only costs 16 Euro. The conclusion is that this is not an airport hotel at all. Start from termini station is much cheaper and flexible. 2. Far far away from Rome downtown and not cheap. The way from this hotel to Rome downtown is very inconvenient. Again, from map, you can find a metro station beside this hotel. However, when you really reach there, you will find this metro station is about 2 km far away and you cannot walk to there because there is no way for walking at all, if only you don't care to walk in a busy traffic road with high-speed cars. There is a bus can take you there, about 20-30 minutes for one. So finally, the actual choice is still the shuttle bus of this hotel. You need to pay 5 Euro for this 2 km. And when you reach the metro station finally, it will take another one hour to Rome downtown. And you must come back very early and say goodbye to the beautiful Rome night sight. And then you must call this hotel to ask them to send the shuttle bus to take you back. And they can tell you that the service has stopped at 8 pm, although they told you it will not until 10 pm, a

We were traveling in a group of 6 - a family of 4 and a couple. However they could not give a room for four people so they said they would give two rooms of three. Each of the rooms had two twin beds and a cot, which was not too comfortable. Otherwise the stay was fine. Bathrooms were nice and breakfast was average (it is included in the price for the room, which was nice). It's about 10 minutes from FCO airport which was what made it convenient for us.

It is a spa hotel. very nice. We walked from the train station and wouldn't recommend it(lack of sidewalks and busy street) but they will come pick you up.

Room was very uncomfortable, bed was hard, shower leaked, bar didnt open until 5, and when it did open we ordered drinks and they had no ice for the drinks. They said their ice machine was broken. There is nothing like a warm gin and tonic...UGH!! At 7 Euro a drink you think they would have compensated us for it. Maids were more friendly then the front desk. Nothing as far as restuarants were close. Grocery store a few blocks away but they were rude!!!!

2 km to the metro station. only 1 euro to get into Rome, compared to 14 euros (each way) on the train from the airport. breakfast buffet was very good too. people at desk very helpful. pay for internet was a little annoying, and signal did not work in the room (needed to sit in lobby).

convenient to the airport...comfortable hotel , but not close to town, so require a bus ride (the stop is very close to the hotel)...they don't tell you that the hotel shuttle only runs at certain hours & is expensive for what it provides.

This hotel is disgusting. The lobby looks fine but when we went up to the room it was gross. The shower door was hanging on one hinge (my husband had to fix it) and there was grime in the corners. We stayed there because we prepaid it and we needed something near the airport. Hotels.com indicated that it was closer than it actually was. It's really like 7k from the airport and very hard to get to (because of the one way roads, etc.) If you don’t mind staying in a 1 star hotel, this place may be OK for you. But this is not 3 star by European standards.

The hotel works for people who need to stay the night before the flight out of Fumacino the next day. Also, the proximity to the Ostia Antica archeological park is a nice bonus. The hotel was nice and the room was comfortable but the location leaves much to be desired. There is no way to get the hotel from the train station other than walking 2 km. Yes, there is local bust route that will take you there from the city center, but there is no way you could know about it until the hotel reception informs you of it! Also, accessing the internet costs you a some money but you cannot access it in the room; you have to use it in the lobby, and the connection is very flaky. I could barely carry on with my chat because the connection kept dropping so often.

Hotel is a good choice for folks not wanting to pay the high price for staying right at FCO. The only problem is that it's a bit of a hike from the train station and there's very little around it. However, I would stay there again - it's a good place to wind down after traveling in Europe, the pool and grounds are nice, and it's not too far from the beach.

The hotel is closed to the airport . We took a cab and paid 15 Euro for the trip. Not too bad. Very nice hotel, our room was very clean and the swiming pool was very nice. We walked to Ostia Antica. we should have taken the bus or the hotel transportation, because there is no side walk and the road was very busy. In the evening we went with a bus to Ostia to see the sea. It was amazing. On our way back to the hotel we took the last bus. I did not see any cabs and from what i heard you can't take one to go to the hotel we stayed. You have to rely on busses and make sure you do not miss the last bus.

We stayed just one night at the hotel, as we had to fly back to the U.S. the next morning. The hotel was absolutely lovely. Although we didn't use the pool, it looked like a beautiful resort area. We ate dinner. Delicious! Breakfast, too, which was included, was more than adequate. Only negative was that the shower doors in our room were off the track and very hard to open and close, and also that the lighting in the bathroom was not sufficient. Also, I chose the hotel because the website boasted that it was close the airport. It was not, and we had to pay 30 euros for the taxi from the airport. (We were coming from Madrid and had just the overnight stay until we flew out of Rome the next morning.) The airport shuttle that the hotel provides was wonderful and very reasonable. We used that in the morning. Great, clean, beautiful hotel!

The Hotel is close to the Airport. BUT, to get there will be interesting. There is a Hotel Shuttle from the airport - We could not find it sadly. We tried a taxi - they asked for 65 Euros, to go just 6Km. We of course said no. In the end we got a series of Buses and Trains, helped by various friendly locals. It took a fair while. That being said, once we got there- it was a lovely hotel, fantastic staff who were willing to go the extra mile to help us find our next location and make our stay comfortable.

I chose this hotel for my final night in Italy because of its proximity to FCO. It's in a nice neighborhood, and there are a few restaurants not too far away. The room value is pretty standard, and the staff was nice. My only gripe about this place was death by nickels and dimes (or euro as the case was). They charge for EVERYTHING. Sure, the pool is free, but you have to rent the towel. The wireless is charged by the hour. The shuttle to the airport is not free. The only free thing I could find was the restaurant and attraction map. It's a color coded map...printed in black and white.

When booking the hotel,I was looking for convenience from the airport, price, cleanliness and private bathroom. When we got to the hotel, it is ran-down, the room was very tiny, the private bathroom had a leaking shower. The hotel was not near anything. We had to take a shuttle to go to the nearest area for food, drinks, ect. The shuttle was not free either. We were on our honeymoon and this was not a great start to our vacation. The saying was right about this hotel, you get what you pay for.

The traffic in Ostia is CRAZY! Fortunately, this hotel avoids much of it. Traffic noise if your room is close to the roadway(s). Just fine if not. To get to Ostia Antica, simply turn right at the corner when leaving the hotel and continue straight. When the castle is on your left the ruins will be just to your right. If you are heading for the beach ... DRIVE DEFENSIVELY!

I chose this hotel to have a short trip to the FCO airport as I had a morning flight out. It was good for that purpose.

Located about 20 minutes from airport. Hotel charges 15 euros for shuttle to airport. Most other hotels do not charge. Restaurant has limited menue and a little expensive for the quality. Room is small but adequate. beds are very small cot style but okay for one or two nights. Located on busy road, cannot walk anywhere as there is no walking path. Management very good with attentative service.

This hotel is conveniently located close to Rome's Fiumicino Airport, the ancient Ostia Antica ruins, and within a short distance from the Mediterranean. Our first room was close to the highway and quite noisy. Our second stay was more centered and just fine. On weekends, expect the Ostia traffic ... drivers ... to be equally insane!

We moved to this hotel after spending a few days in Rome to catch an early flight next morning. It is advertised as an airport hotel it is some 7 km from the airport. The location is also very tough to get to using public transportation. You have to take the metro station and then catch a bus from there. It took us 1.5 hrs. A cab from Rome can cost upwards of 75 euros. Except for the hotel restaurant and another one behind it, the area primarily residential. You have to catch a bus to get to a small market that has a few more options. The hotel itself was clean but very old fashioned and not in great condition. The staff was somewhat helpful. The airport shuttle runs every hour but only for a short period and starts at 6 am. They were flexible at all that since we had our flight at 7. They claimed a cab will cost 30-35 euros. They also did not mention the shuttle was 15 euros for the two of us until we were ready to leave. If you can afford it, look for a hotel closer to the airport. It may be more convenient and you might end up spending more getting in and out of this hotel anyway.

the hotel is great with big clean rooms... but the hotel is in the middle of nowhere... theres no restaurants or stores to buy stuff nearby... you have to take a bus to go to the store. you can't walk around the hotel coz there is no sidewalk. the hotel restaurant is very expensive. the hotel shuttle cannot bring you to the airport if your flight is too early. you pay the same for transportation from/to airport if you stay in central rome.

Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Four bus ride stops to the Roman ruins and the hotel offers free service to the nearby airport - 15 minutes away. Some good restaurants in Ostia, avoid the hotel food - a disappointment. The hotel is ok but don't expect a four star hotel.

Unless you are driving, I would NOT recommend staying at Ostia Antica Park. It is extremely difficult to get to by public transportation, a fact that the hotel nowhere indicated in any information that was provided. Once we arrived at the local rail station, we found no taxis (and saw only one during our stay) and only one local bus that we might have taken to get to the still distant hotel. We were faced with a long walk until a friendly local phoned the hotel and asked them to come to pick us up. Although the hotel van eventually showed up, the driver seemed put out by having to do this (even though we were charged for the service) and didn't bother to help us with our bags once we had arrived at the hotel. And it wasn't just us who had this experience; we talked with two other guests who had had the same problem that same day! The hotel staff that we encountered seemed unconcerned that we had had difficulties reaching the place. Making matters worse, the hotel is on what is essentially a six-lane highway, which means that until 10:00 PM or so, things are a bit noisy. Nor does the immediate neighborhood have much to offer in the way of restaurants or stores. Guests are rather isolated.

Had to get the tv replaced to get the one englsh channel, hotel staff a bit snippy, airport shuttle is significant cost one way per room - NOT FREE OR CHEAP. If you don't have a car, you can't walk to anything. The restaurant was to open at 7 and at 7:15 I was told maybe 7:45 or 8 - so I went to bed without dinner. Clean and ok, not convenient to the airport by American standards but typical of what I expect in Europe.

We had very nice stay at this hotel. Front desk very understanding and concerned with enjoyable stay.The room which was given to us was too small for us, but when we brought this issue to the reception , they changed our room next day which was very spacious with the balcony.Thank you very much.This place deserves five star if it was near to the main city or easy transportation to the city. Hotel is appx. one hr away if you are using public transportation or 30 min. away by taxi.Restaurant chef/manager could have better understanding about the guests needs.A microwave in the room may be for extra charge will help the guest a lot. Overall BEST for the PRICE and COMFORT.Again WE THANK THE FRONT DESK AND TEAM AT THE HOTEL.

The hotel itself was fine. There were cost and information that should have been supplied by Hotels.com. There was a 15 Euro fee charged to four different rooms on one trip to the airport. A room tax was added to what I had paid Hotel.com. We drove to the hotel and a few sentences on locating the hotel by car would have been helpful. A subway train, for 1 Euro would take you within a mile of the hotel. We met folks that spent 80 Euros on a taxi without this information. You are real close to doing a good job and need to work just a little harder to please your customers.

This hotel was rather sparse, to be kind. There were exactly two pillows to use, and the TV was maybe 19 inches. One bath towel. It reminded me of a cheap motel going for a beachside theme, except it wasn't near enough to the water to make it worth it. I picked this hotel because it was near the airport. But this didn't do me any good. The rather pricey hotel shuttle didn't operate at the hour I needed to go to the airport. Also, it takes a good hour by train to get to the heart of Rome/Termini station. On the plus side, I asked the hotel staff for very specific directions on how to use the bus to get down to the water and was delighted with the level of information. They even have bus tickets at the counter. While it had the cheapest internet rates at any of the hotels I stayed at in Italy, the in-room socket didn't work, so we had to go down to the lobby to use it. Overall, this was a fairly disappointing way to wrap up our vacation.

This hotel is excellent and would cost more if it were near Rome center. It has relatively easy access to public transportation -- bus and metro. The hotel shuttle from the airport makes finding it unnecessary. The restaurant next door was excellent. The hotel's breakfast reminded me of something from Israel rather than from Europe. What a spread. I recommend it if you don't mind the extra time into the city each day.

The staff here was rude and not very helpful. No one was smiling, and the guy at the front answered the phone twice during my conversation with him. The beds were hard, the neighborhood is horrible. There isn't much around within walking distance. We only stayed here one night because it was the closest hotel in our budget, and I'm glad that we didn't stay longer . It looks nothing like the pictures. It's more of a 2 star, not a 3 star. If you can help it, don't stay here!

Very nice hotel with transportation to airport. Would have been nice to know pickup was also available though. Also very nice breakfast provided.

The hotel was a bit out of the way but the staff made it worth while. near the ocean and had a shuttle to the beach and airport for a small fee (cheaper than taxi). Food at the hotel was excellent, service was great, very comfortable.. very accommodating with handicapped travelers. Would recommend.

They advertise that the hotel is within 5 miles of the air port ant 300 yards from the train station, but that's simply not true. The hotel is atleast 10 miles from the airport for which they have a shuttle for $15/room and 2 miles from the train station. That's not a walk you want to make with your luggage. Other than that the hotel staff was polite and the room clean. I would look for a hotel closer to the airport if I was to do it again.

Tv did not work in room and never received wakeup call. Otherwise is it clean, good price n close to a bus stop

Possibly my mistake, but I checked into this as an airport hotel, and although it's in the same general vicinity, it's not really at the airport. It therefore isn't a good choice as an airport hotel - it would have been more economical to stay somewhere like the Hilton, given the savings that could have been made on the taxi and shuttle services. Leaving this aside, as a hotel it's very average. The breakfast is very sparse - the worst of the three hotels I stayed in in Italy. It might be okay for people specifically staying for the spa/health facilities, which I wasn't (and didn't have the chance to try).

Good hotel for proximity to FCO with shuttle service. Friendly and helpful staff with a good restaurant. Rooms are small and somewhat uncomfortable. Located in an area with very limited/no additional restaurants/shops/hotels.

Nice clean,modern hotel with friendly,bilingual staff.Rooms are large,clean and in good shape.Free parking in front.Big pool in back.The area surrounding this hotel is another story.Hotel located in commercial / industrial area,.which is not the problem.The area is very neglected looking,full of over grown weeds and graffiti painted everywhere.Think of the Bronx in the mid 1970's,and you get the idea.Not an area you want to walk around in.Day or night.The hotel is very close to the airport,which is good if your leaving the next day.This place is really an oasis.Liked the hotel,hated the neighborhood.

We have stayed here three times the night before we leave from Rome's Da Vinci Airport. Not a resort, an airport hotel. It is reasonably priced and we know how to visit Ostia Antica, the old Rome port, and the beach at Ostia. Quiet for sleeping and good breakfast buffet in the morning and off to the airport.

I regret staying at this hotel. The room was horrable! The shower drain was clogged that flooded the entire bathroom, the fan in the bathroom smelled like something was burning, the tv was very old like from the 80sand the screen size was the size of a small portable dvd player screen (5 to 6 inches). The beds felt like lying on cement! We should have slept in a chair at the airport. It was really bad. Sorry, but it was.

Overall this hotel stay was average. PLEASE BEWARE! Although this hotel advertises a pool, it is NOT FREE. In order to use the pool, you must use their towels, at a fee that was a total rip-off! The AC didn't work as well as we would have liked either, so we wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are going to Rome in the summer and want to stay cool. The hotel was good for what we needed - a clean place to stay between flights. We stayed two nights and had one full day to do some last minute shopping in Rome. It was fairly easy to take the bus from in front of the hotel to the train station, which took us to the metro station and into the city. A little less than an hour from the hotel to the Vatican. The free breakfast was not the best free breakfast we had in Europe, and the restaurant was only so-so for dinner.
