The room was good if a bit small, it was very clean with a welcome tray and comfortable beds, the large car park is secure as it is protected by electric gates. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very enjoyable with a good choice of food and wine, the waiter was exceptional, he seemed to be working alone but remembered what everyone had ordered, it all ran like clockwork, breakfast had good selection but the buffet was a bit cramped. Staff on reception very good and helpful, and could speak english.

Grumpy rude receptionist on our first day , but the cabin style rooms are funky with elevated extra bunk beds, nice decor , good bathroom. Nice garden setting. You have to drive or bus to shops and town.

Only stayed one night, should have booked at least one more. Excellent location, 10euro ride into town centre. Breakfast very good. good evening meal

This is the third year in a row we have stayed at the Kyriad. The hotel is close to the Aix train station and is about 20 minutes from the Marsielle Airport. The staff is extremely nice and was very helpful. The hotel also has a nice restaurant attached with a wonderful wait staff and excellent house wine! The room is small by US standards but pretty average by French standards. Some major improvements this year... The rooms now contain a new air conditioning system. This was a major plus especially with how hot this summer has been! The rooms also now have very nice flat screen tvs in the rooms. The parking is gated, and this year, the gate was closed at all times. You needed to buzz the desk (using the speaker at the gate) to enter or exit. A password and username was needed for the in room internet access. The usernames were good for 24 - 48 hours but the staff was great about quickly providing you with the new information. This hotel is located very close to Aix-en-Provence city center, so it was easy to get back in forth to the arts festival. A new Casino (Grocery/ Shopping Center) just opened very close to the hotel and was great for picking up groceries for the week (Water, snacks, change of clothes, etc). We traveled all through the South of France and this hotel was right in the center of where we wanted to be. This is a great hotel if you are looking for a decent place to rest your head.

The hotel facility is fine. The room was very good with a nice big screen TV. The restaurant was very appealing even though I did not use it. The hotel is a little far from the city center but easily accessible by city bus.

however using gps finding the location lately at night was almost impossible.the hotel itself clean and well equipped.we didn't eat there ,so breakafst quality unknown for us.

This was our second Kyriad hotel & it oozed charm & its difference was endearing. Hotel rooms surround a pretty garden setting. There is no road noise from within our cabin although it can be heard outside. There are some interesting art and statues dotted around the hotel & garden. The hotel reception & restaurant are fun & intimate. We enjoyed a tasty 3 course meal at the hotel restaurant with a special mention to our very friendly server/waiter-a really lovely man who put up with our questions & bad French ! The hotel reception staff, a young lady, we found very helpful & spoke excellent English. We were very appreciative of her help with a problem we had & rang & sorted our issue out for us. As we had a car, it was not an issue for us to drive to Aix. The hotel has secure on site free parking. Without a car, it is too far to walk to Aix & I don't know what the public transport was like. Our room was just big enough for our 2 suitcases. It had a desk, & the tea/coffee facilities are a bonus that we didn't find in any other hotels during our trip. The bed was one of the comfier ones of our trip & the giant wall tv was terrific. Overall, something a little bit different for us & much enjoyed. It was nice to have some rapport with the hotel staff too.

Hotel was a disappointment. It is of old motel block construction; fragile and shabby, but clean. The bedrooms are tiny offering little comfort. The restaurant was reasonable but closed at the weekend. However the buffet breakfast was chaotic with most of the basic elements disappearing rapidly leaving late comers with nothing. Not to be recommended.

Overall, I can't say anything bad about the place. Well maintained...comfortable bed. But you do need a car to get to attractions as things are not within walking distance.

Although the room was small [not unusual in France], the weather and surrounding landscaped courtyards offered ample space for tai chi and reading. There is a bus that will take you to the center of Aix-en-Provence, and it is within easy walking distance of the Foundation Vasarely. The interior and exterior spaces are tastefully filled with whimsical art and decorative details.

Satisfactory hotel with a top quality restaurant (one of the best and most affordable we ate at in the entire region). The room was clean but very small. Not the best location but only a 5 minute taxi journey from the center of the city. Be warned that the taxis ordered through the hotel had a €5 flagfall, perhaps it is cheaper if you book this yourself.

I didn't like the room at all. It was very small and as we were a group of one adult and two children it made the prospect of a four night stay very unappealing. So, in a sense, I think we were lucky that the sewers overflowed on the second night and all through the morning. The front of the door was literally a stream of sh1t. The hotel offered us another room but a terrible smell hung over the whole hotel and all the guests were rushing to get away as soon as possible. We hightailed it to the first hotel we could find on the internet;- the rather brilliant Novotel Suite in Marseille. If all had gone well at the Kyriad I would still be giving it the thumbs down for the smallness of the rooms and the general run downness of the place. However, the location is quite good and the staff were fairly friendly, if a little jaded.

Disappointed on arrival very gloomy hotel but friendly staff. Needs a refurbish. However not to change the bed as very comfortable and room was clean. OK for a stop-over.

This hotel was extremely reasonably priced and a delightful surprise. It consists of single-story, deep red-painted farm-syle buildings with tile roofs, set in (as the name suggests) a garden of olive trees and other mediterranean fauna. Whimsical metal sculptures grace the lawn, and the dining room has a charming outdoor courtyard and a back patio for al fresco dining, in addition to its roomy dining room and cozy bar. If you have imagined yourself owning a country house in Provence, this hotel may be in your fantasy. The room was small--this was France--but comfortable, except for the placement of the ladder to the loft which made the passageway to the bathroom narrower and which my husband kept bumping into. The only other slight inconvenience was the distance from the city center. The hotel is right on the bus route, but they do not run late at night, and we were there on a holiday when the buses weren't running at all, so cab fares became an unexpected added expense. The staff however were wonderfully helpful and friendly, and though we try to primarily use the language of the country we are visiting, they did speak English when we needed them to.

We had a twin room for two persons, and the room is so small that there is no location in the room where the two persons cannot be in each others way. The hotel is close to the high-way, and there is buzz of traffic all night long, not very high, but not far-far away either. Last and not least, it seems that there is an Orange cellular base station (a cellular antenna) inside the hotel area (our room was about 40 meters from the base.

Com excecao da Amandita, o atendimento era pessimo. Restaurante muito bom. Hotel muito distante do centro. Nao ficaria la novamente. Ar condicionado nao funcionava.

Bonne note globale.en revanche le prix est un peu ecxessif par rapport à d'autres hôtels de la region. points positifs : le calme et la grande télé !!!

Pas de restauration le week-end - ce qui nous a posé un problème

Très bon hôtel. Charmant avec son petit air de motel... Service tip-top et personnel très serviable. Calme et tranquille, on y reviendra...

Hotel bien situé, trés propre avec une équipe trés agréable et professionelle.

Hôtel sympa, facilement accessible. pas assez de serveurs au restaurant le soir mais la nourriture est bonne.

Angenehm für ruhiges Arbeiten und gutes Essen

Bonne impression générale. Lit très confortable.Ce qui manque peut-être ce sont des renseignements sur les activités touristiques a l'accueil de l'hotel. Petit dejeuner relativement correct. De bon produits, a part les "fruits frais", et les viennoiseries en petites quantités. (d' autres ont été cuites ensuite) On reviendra malgrè tout.

Foi boa,infelizmente o restaurante,que é o ponto forte do hotel.não estava aberto por ser fim de semana,utilizei o restaurante do hotel próximo Campanille.O atendimento foi bom e a comida do restaurante foi ótima,sómente o utilizei apenas por um jantar.

Bon séjour, personnel agréable.

Nous avons passé une seule nuit dans cet hôtel mais l'accueil y a été agréable et nous avons pu manger malgré notre heure d'arrivée assez tardive (21h15!). De bonnes prestations dans l'ensemble avec un petit déjeuner copieux et de bonne qualité (heureusement car 10 euros par personne quand même!). Je recommande cet hôtel.

Toujours bien agréable. Mais il faut être matinal, sous peine d'être réveillé à 8h30 par les chariots un peu bruyants des ménagères zélées !

pour raison professionnelle j ai voulu modifier ma réservation en l avançant d un jour . La responsable de l hôtel n a même pas dénié répondre en mon appel téléphonique. La seule alternative proposée étaient de réserver une nuit supplémentaire. Aucun geste commercial ne m a été proposé j ai donc perdu une nuitée.Je ne suis pas prête de recommander les hôtels Kyriad.

sehr angenehm, Personal sehr freundlich, direkter Zugang zum Garten optimal, Zimmer etwas klein- aber wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, akzeptabel. Gute Parkmöglichkeit-Gare TGV gut und schnell zu erreichen.

Bonjour je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel nous avons été très decu la propreté de la. Chambre laisser à désire nous avons trouver un cafard , nous avons été réveiller à 7h 45 alors qu nous avions rien demander et par dessus le marche la femme de chambre qui fait du forcing pour rentrée dans la chambre à même pas 10h .apres avoir montrer notre mécontentement il on fait un geste commerciale il nous on offert la chambre . Mais c est la première fois qu on l on me fait un truc pareil sachant qu on paye un service on s attend à mieux . Pas contre je recommande vivement le kyriad hôtel de Arles .

Rent och snyggt rum och badrum. Alltför lite golvyta för två personer med bagage. Mysig restaurang och trädgård med roliga skulpturer.Lite svårt att hitta till hotellet men med en bra karta gick det bra. Restaurangen har god service och förutom god och riklig frukost åt vi två middagar som var riktigt superba serverade av en trevlig manlig servitör.Kul med en flaska vin som gåva, samma vin som man druckit till maten.
