This was our second Kyriad hotel & it oozed charm & its difference was endearing. Hotel rooms surround a pretty garden setting. There is no road noise from within our cabin although it can be heard outside. There are some interesting art and statues dotted around the hotel & garden. The hotel reception & restaurant are fun & intimate. We enjoyed a tasty 3 course meal at the hotel restaurant with a special mention to our very friendly server/waiter-a really lovely man who put up with our questions & bad French ! The hotel reception staff, a young lady, we found very helpful & spoke excellent English. We were very appreciative of her help with a problem we had & rang & sorted our issue out for us. As we had a car, it was not an issue for us to drive to Aix. The hotel has secure on site free parking. Without a car, it is too far to walk to Aix & I don't know what the public transport was like. Our room was just big enough for our 2 suitcases. It had a desk, & the tea/coffee facilities are a bonus that we didn't find in any other hotels during our trip. The bed was one of the comfier ones of our trip & the giant wall tv was terrific. Overall, something a little bit different for us & much enjoyed. It was nice to have some rapport with the hotel staff too.

Hotel was a disappointment. It is of old motel block construction; fragile and shabby, but clean. The bedrooms are tiny offering little comfort. The restaurant was reasonable but closed at the weekend. However the buffet breakfast was chaotic with most of the basic elements disappearing rapidly leaving late comers with nothing. Not to be recommended.

Overall, I can't say anything bad about the place. Well maintained...comfortable bed. But you do need a car to get to attractions as things are not within walking distance.

Although the room was small [not unusual in France], the weather and surrounding landscaped courtyards offered ample space for tai chi and reading. There is a bus that will take you to the center of Aix-en-Provence, and it is within easy walking distance of the Foundation Vasarely. The interior and exterior spaces are tastefully filled with whimsical art and decorative details.

tiny little room, but clean and with cofee & tea. a good breakfast, although not included. the parking is free and with a car you can arive to the center of town.

Satisfactory hotel with a top quality restaurant (one of the best and most affordable we ate at in the entire region). The room was clean but very small. Not the best location but only a 5 minute taxi journey from the center of the city. Be warned that the taxis ordered through the hotel had a €5 flagfall, perhaps it is cheaper if you book this yourself.

I didn't like the room at all. It was very small and as we were a group of one adult and two children it made the prospect of a four night stay very unappealing. So, in a sense, I think we were lucky that the sewers overflowed on the second night and all through the morning. The front of the door was literally a stream of sh1t. The hotel offered us another room but a terrible smell hung over the whole hotel and all the guests were rushing to get away as soon as possible. We hightailed it to the first hotel we could find on the internet;- the rather brilliant Novotel Suite in Marseille. If all had gone well at the Kyriad I would still be giving it the thumbs down for the smallness of the rooms and the general run downness of the place. However, the location is quite good and the staff were fairly friendly, if a little jaded.

Disappointed on arrival very gloomy hotel but friendly staff. Needs a refurbish. However not to change the bed as very comfortable and room was clean. OK for a stop-over.

This hotel was extremely reasonably priced and a delightful surprise. It consists of single-story, deep red-painted farm-syle buildings with tile roofs, set in (as the name suggests) a garden of olive trees and other mediterranean fauna. Whimsical metal sculptures grace the lawn, and the dining room has a charming outdoor courtyard and a back patio for al fresco dining, in addition to its roomy dining room and cozy bar. If you have imagined yourself owning a country house in Provence, this hotel may be in your fantasy. The room was small--this was France--but comfortable, except for the placement of the ladder to the loft which made the passageway to the bathroom narrower and which my husband kept bumping into. The only other slight inconvenience was the distance from the city center. The hotel is right on the bus route, but they do not run late at night, and we were there on a holiday when the buses weren't running at all, so cab fares became an unexpected added expense. The staff however were wonderfully helpful and friendly, and though we try to primarily use the language of the country we are visiting, they did speak English when we needed them to.

We had a twin room for two persons, and the room is so small that there is no location in the room where the two persons cannot be in each others way. The hotel is close to the high-way, and there is buzz of traffic all night long, not very high, but not far-far away either. Last and not least, it seems that there is an Orange cellular base station (a cellular antenna) inside the hotel area (our room was about 40 meters from the base.

What a delightful hotel! So clean and comfortable. Because it was my birthday, I was thoroughly spoilt by the staff. The food and wine were excellent. I will stay there again when we go to France next time. Highly recommended!

Dommage que le restaurant soit fermé le week-end. Chambres un peu petites mais confortables (tres grand écran TV et lit agréable). Environnement de l'hotel agréable (petits batiments dans un petit jardin).

accueil du personnel très chaleureux et disponible environnement et cadre agréable, reste l'isolation phonique des chambres qui laisse à désirer

Hôtel proche de l'autoroute mais calme malgré tout ; le seul bruit provient des autres personnes qui passent devant la chambre en parlant fort..., mais cela est lié aux hôtels de type motel. Chambre très confortable, même pour 3, alors que la place autour du grand lit est un peu juste. Restaurant très sympa, avec des plats originaux ; bonne cuisine.

Très convivial, personnel très à l'écoute et sympathique.

Très bon accueil et service restaurant attentionné. Cadre agréable mais un peu loin du centre ville à pied. Chambre avec tout confort. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

personnel très bien l'on se sens chez nous, le soir très bonne cuisine et très bien reçu, prix attractif attention par contre de ne pas augmenter les prix pour ma part je vais très souvent dans les Hotel, + de 15 jours par mois, et il y a peux de bon Hotel celui ci très bien, mieux que Kyriad prestige qui ce trouve pas loin de celui ci,

Toutes les chambres sont de plein pied, comme de petits logements individuels. Dans la chambre, tout est très fonctionnel, confortable. Très calme.

En couple avec un bébé nous avons été ravis de trouver des espaces verts dans l'enceinte de l'hotel avec expo de sculpture. Nous avons passé un moment paisible et agréable. Super grand écran dans la chambre qui part ailleurs change des innombrables chambres que l'on trouve de part et d'autre de long couloirs ailleurs, on aurait une studette. Petit dèj sympa bien qu'un peu cher. Le personnel est agréable et souriant. Un bémol tout de même, il est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de restauration les samedi soir... On reviendra au besoin.

beaucoup d'ameliorations ont été faites dans cet hotel. facile d'accés et pratique quant à sa localisation.

Bon rapport qualite/prix . L'hotel se situe dans un jardin agreable, mais la chambre est petite, sans espace de rangement suffisant pour poser une grosse valise et le menage un peu bacle (moutons sous le lit). Tres bien donc pour une nuit ou 2.

le personnel sympa, qu'un regret de ne pas avoir pris le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse ! un peu frais mais nous espérons revenir ..........en 2012 !

Séjour très satisfaisant et personnel à l'écoute du client, compétent et très sympathique. Si prochain séjour sur aix en provence, la réservation se fera à cet hotel

cadre tranquille quelques toiles d'arraignée sur les poutres dans ma chambre l'odeur de tabac dans la salle de bain, qui arrive par l'aération, dès le matin quand on est non fumeur c'est pas terrible service et accueil plutôt sympas beau buffet petit déjeuner tout le nécessaire pour une femme dans la salle de bain je l'indique à mes collègues commerciaux autour de moi

Accueil chaleureux de TOUT le personnel Chambre vraiment petite mais le rapport qualité prix exellent

Des problèmes de distribution éléctrique le soir de notre arrivée ! C'est vraiment pas de chance, mais le personnel assure, c'est bien. A noter qu'un petit appel télephonique de la part de la réception pour nous informer aurait été plus professionnel. A part cet incident, nous avons été globalement très satisfait de notre court sejour. Bravo pour le petit déjeuner. A bientôt ...

Environnement sympa et différent d'un hotel classique. Accueil sympathique mais pas très conviviale. Problème de siphon dans la chambre, odeur désagréable dans la douche. Chambre pour personne à mobilité réduite mais absence de fauteuil dans a douche !!!!!!!!!

Detta hotell har vi bott tidigare på och blev då positivt överraskade och ville återvända. Dock blev vi besvikna då detta hotell är i behov av renovering. Deras A/C fungerar dåligt. Dock är personalen och deras mat bra. På vår resa bodde vi även på ett annat två stjärnigt Kyriad hotell och det var mycket bättre.

Hôtel de plein pied avec jardin très agréable. Lit de grande largeur avec literie d'excellente qualité. Possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner en terrasse (de 7h30 à 12h00). Très bon rapport qualité prix.
