Quality Inn - هايد بارك

It's always hard to tell what a place will be like from the internet, but this was surprisingly better than expected. Very clean, staff very friendly & helpful and the free breakfast was a bonus. Great location for visiting the FDR sites and Vanderbilt Mansion. The only downfall was it is a 2 story hotel and there is no elevator. If my husband wasn't with me I would have been unable to carry my luggage up the full flight of stairs.

The room was nice, bathroom was inferior construction and a little nasty, clean but in dis-repair, staff was friendly and helpful

I stayed a night visiting my sister who stays in the area, and it was very clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. We had everything we needed and I was very pleased about the stay. Easy to find and easily accessible to the surrounding area.

My stay was rather uncomfortable. The bed was really hard and the pillows were extremely small and the rooms were smelly.

The manager was very professional and took care of our needs promptly.

Beds are hard. Heat went from one extreme to the other. It was hard to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The free breakfast is good. Kids enjoyed making there own waffles.

Beds were small (double not queen) and hard. Good location. Decent complimentary breakfast.

Everything was very clean people very freindly. Did not like snack machine was empty. pop machine was empty. Exercise room was inconvenient having to get key to use.

The hotel sign in clerk was absolutely fabulous...Brando.nHe was very helpful because I was extremely tired and he offered to bring in my bags and was there when I opened my car trunk..very very helpful also I needed some help with the computer....doneI needed help with a map to get to the taconic parkway...doneI was very impressed with the service.The breakfast was great. We were meeting our grandchild for a tour of the culinary institute and it was very wholesome and well presented. Coffee was delicious and I was able to bring it back to the room. very nice. We will stay here again. Very very convenient..

It was good. Clean and updated

Staff not friendly. Dirty towels from previous guest still in room. No elevator! Had to carry our heavy bags upstairs. Just not a good experience

Stay was overall great. Was a late check in and needed extra towels and blankets. Check in staff stated was in the dryer and would be up shortly, waited quite a while and when called again was different staff that was never told we needed anything. Otherwise great stay.

Stayed in room to shower and sleep. Main purpose was to visit CIA which is a few miles away. Route 9 can be tricky when leaving the hotel due to no traffic signal, left turns, and traffic.

Carpeting musty and damp. Too expensive for what we got. Don't see any benefit in being a rewards member.

The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. Great value!

Not very satisfied. The room was not clean, and when I complained to management about it I was told they could give me another room on a different floor, and that was that. I did appreciate the offer but I did not want to be on the second floor. I would have appreciated a clean room. I cannot say the manager was nice. The hotel, oddly enough, had not a single bench or chair anywhere outside on its premises.

This is a solid value for the money. My impression is that it is one of the better choices in the area. It's not the Ritz, but it's clean and comfortable, and the staff was professional and efficient. It's, literally, across the street from President Franklin Roosevelt's home in Hyde Park. I would stay here again.

clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff, convenient location, furnishings need updating

Hotel was conveniently located to Roosevelt memorial, but about 50% higher priced than other similar local hotels, we discovered. We stayed only one night and checked into a similar hotel 1/4 mile away. Quality inn room carpet stained and unclean, bathroom fixtures falling off wall; we were in a smoking room (only room available) but the smell was quite bad.

Clean but bare minimum provided. Walls are paper thin. Pillows were half a normal size pillow. Breakfast was nice but no place to sit (very small eating area. Not worth what u pay.

Staff is friendly. Room was clean but air conditioning cycled on and off all night even though it was set on High Cool. That was annoying. The breakfast was a nice surprise with waffles, eggs and sausage. Overall impression was good. AC was a problem, though.

We checked in and were assigned a room very close to the parking lot but we were told there was no outside entrance near our room. We dragged all our luggage the entire distance to our room because of the night clerk. The next morning we checked out and drove home as my husband had had a massive heart attack. The clerk at the front desk. A very nice young lady couldn't have been nicer. Would return again, great location.....and because of the nice clerk. We drove home not knowing his "indigestion" was a heart attack and he is doing great after bypass. THanks

The stay was fine, but was disappointed about having to carry luggage up the stairs. Didn't see an elevator. Hall carpets could have been cleaner. Room was clean

The staff was professional and helpful. The rooms are adequate, yet need some renovations. The staff shared that this is happening over time.

Was visiting the CIA and this hotel was a perfect location. Nice area and convenient to everything. My first trip to the CIA, I stayed at the poughkeepsie grand and was afraid to leave the hotel. No such fear at the Quality Inn. They also have a fitness room which was a nice surprise. This was my 4th stay here and I will continue to stay there when I visit the area. Staff was friendly and hotel is quiet. There is also a convenience store across the street.

Felt this motel was overly priced. The room was clean, but everything felt old. The shower head was old . For the price that we paid, it was not worth it.

this hotel is on par or above of many "so caller luxury brand hotels delivering the essential efficient and in a friendly manner

The location was perfect. Very close to all historical sites. Room was clean and well cared for. Breakfast was great with good variety.

I really wish I had brought a pillow from home. Although each bed had three, they were about 12"x12".

While doing research at the FDR Library I found the Quality Inn convenient, clean, and safe. I highly recommend it.

Good to stay in the Hudson Valley close to some high points for visitors. Rooms are comfortable, this was our second stay. There is a coveniant breakfast that is quite good. Overall it is great value.
