Hotel MS Maestranza - مالاجا

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in mid-April. Have no complaints about the hotel - it was clean, and quiet. Staff were friendly and were able to communicate in English. The hotel location is good but about a ten minute walk along by the port to get to the town centre but there are lots of buses. Our room on the 11th floor had a lovely view of the Alcazaba but the view of the port and the sea was obscured a bit by the other building across from the hotel. Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a superb location, 10 minute walk through lovely gardens to the city centre and 3 minute walk to the beach or port. Hotel was perfect for a lovely weekend get away, all the hotel staff were so friendly. If I ever went to Malaga again, I would certainly stay at this hotel.

If you want to take a rest at Malaga, this hotel may be a good choice. This is located almost features in Malaga - beach, toros, museum, .... However, if you come Malaga for your business work, this is not the best choice. From the central bus station;alameda principal - It takes about 5~10 min by walk.

We sailed from Malaga and wanted a hotel close to the dock as well as the town. We stayed 2 nights and this was a perfect choice! Clean, well maintained, friendly and located between a residentail neighbourhood and the old town. We walked everywhere, the old fort is very close, the bull ring is next door and the old town is about 10 minutes away. We ate at the local cafe, strolled the harbour and enjoyed every minute. When it was time to board the ship, we walked (with our luggage) to the port. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The higher rooms and spa command excellent views of the city and port. Old town is about a 5 mins walk so surprisingly well-located. Most hotels probably need to be more explicit about the costs of parking and locations of nearest parking lots. Best here is Cervantes Car Park, which is under the Bull Ring and a short walk from the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.

We have been very happy from this hotel. Perfect location, 150m from the beach and it is in the most beautiful part of the city. The double bed in the room was really big and comfortable. Was a bit noisy because the hotel is situated just beside busy road but even of this we had very good sleep every night of our stay. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but there is a lovely sandwich bar just downstairs so we had nice and cheaper breakfasts overt there. I recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a perfect location to explore the tourist attractions of Malaga and within very easy walking distance of the beach (3 mins) and the main centre for restaurants and shops (15 mins). The open top bus tour goes right by the hotel and the views from the top floors are wonderful of the Alcazabar or the Bullring. The staff were very freindly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. We paid the extra for a Junior suite (great value) with spa bath and massaging shower and great views. Would certainly recommend this hotel and the walk into the centre through the botanical gardens was wonderful.

The hotel is located basically in the middle of town and is walking distance to MANY of the areas main attractions or sites.... The staff is extremely FRIENDLY and Helpful... I would recommend this hotel to anyone... If and when I return to Malaga, I would without a doubt stay there again....

In general this hotel is good - the rooms and bathrooms are fine and the position is good However there are a few irritating aspects that would be so easy to change - the roof terrace is an afterthought - too few tired looking sunbeds and sun shades the main room has 4 functions - bar, evening restaurant, breakfast room and TV lounge and poor management means it does none of them well having a nice glass of Cava in, what is actually quite a nice room ( wood panelling, cream leather sofas etc), was seriously spoilt by the chair scraping and crockery clattering of the breakfast tables being laid - this was only around 9pm. They are not a great view for a bar either 2 out of 4 mornings we had to queue for breakfast tables, there didn't seem to be a system so guests were a little irate! on 1 of these mornings having finally got a table and having found another chair by asking around all the other guests there was very little food available, even the cold hams and prepared fruit were absent - this was around 8,45am a few screens and a bit of planning would have prevented all of these irritating niggles a couple of stacking chairs on the balconies would have been nice too I did approach reception who were very pleasant and helpful but heard nothing from management my advice - don't pay for breakfast as you might be disappointed, there is a fab patisserie under the hotel where you will get a table

The hotel is well located and our room on the 11th floor had a nice view of the beach , harbour and Alcazaba and the city centre was walking distance . The breakfast buffet was good but on the third morning lacked variety . Valet parking was convenient as moat of the streets in the city centre were not accessible or one-way .

We stayed at the Hotel Mastranza on two occasions - the nights of 5th and 15th September. On both occasions we found the hotel comfortable and the service extremely welcoming and efficient. This was particularly appreciated after long and tiring days travelling. On both occasions the rooms were comfortable and clean and we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a stay in Malaga. A taxi rank is outside the hotel which made journeys to the airport convenient and although it is some distance from the airport we preferred to stay in Malaga itself with access to the town and an easy walk to the beach. During our holiday we stayed at four other hotels in Andalucia and this hotel was certainly of a high standard. We will certainly choose to stay at the Hotel Maestranza on any future visits to Malaga.

The location, location, location! Very close to the beach and to the old town, including the cathedral and Alcazaba. Great views from the roof!!!! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Thank you MARION for your help. She is the wonderful front desk agent!

We only stayed two nights and arrived late on the 1st night, but hotel was easy enough to find. Staff were very good, and helpful with requests for good restuarants and sightseeing, also when I needed to print off check in documents. Didn't have breakfast as great cheap cafe on corner of the road.

EXCELENT LOCATION, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE BEDS AND WE LIKED IT VERY MUCH.

We spent one week in Malaga at the Maestranza Hotel Excellent attention, very kind and helpful personnel. Excellent location , wonderful view to the Alcazaba and the "Plaza de toros" just aside. spacious room, bed a bit "too firm" for our taste cleanliness could be better but overall good. I would stay in this place without hesitation in our next trip

5 mins walk to beach and seafront tapa bars, pleasant and safe walk through lovely gardens into old city , takes 5 to 10 mins, great cafe below hotel. Hotel staff really friendly and helpfull and Malaga itself is great, not at all like the Costas and seems to be undergoing improvement all the time.

Arrived very late on the Friday, checked in without any problems. Had a lovely room with a small balcony overlooking the bullring. All toiletries provided, although no tea/coffee facilities. Beach is less than 10 minutes walk away, city centre is a little further, a good 20 minutes albeit a very pleaseant walk.

It was perfect for our pre-night stay for our cruise out of Malaga. It was close to the beach and port, and we enjoyed walking around the area. There were some nice restaurants close by and the breakfast offered at the hotel was excellent! The staff was excellent and we had a very nice view of the hills and bullring from our room. I would definately stay there again!

Chose this hotel as it was close to the airport for our arrival and also near the port from which we were taking a cruise. The location is perfect. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Quite a bit smaller than we expected, but this was inconsequential.

Away from the centre of City so ok for beaches and for many of the sights but a bit of a walk to get to shops if that is what you want (we didn't !). Reception were very helpful when we had a few (non-hotel related) problems. Would revisit if we came back to Malaga.

Just stayed one night as we were flying out of Malaga Airport the next morning. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was okay, though the room was quite smokey.

The hotel was in a good location close to the beach and the old town. Room was clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. Only negative was there was no internet access in the room and only one PC there for accessing the internet. I would definately stay there again.

This is a very clean and comfortable 4-star hotel which is just 200metres from the beach, bars and restaurants and 400 metres from the old town centre via the botanical gardens. The Picasso museum, Picasso house and cathedral are all an easy walk away, as are the shops of the Larios and the Alcazaba. I've stayed in Malaga four times and this is the best located hotel for all amenities.

Das Preisleistungsverhälniss vom Hotel ist sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist super.Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer wie in den öffentlichen Räumen ist sehr gut. Die Freundlichkleit war lobenswert.Ich kann das Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen.

Hotellet hadde bra rom (juniorsuite). Grei frukost, men det kunne oppstå venting pga få bord i frukostsalen. En fordel å ligge litt høyt oppe i etasjene pga trafikkstøy. Bra rengjøring. Fin takterrasse. Ideell beliggenhet mellom strand og sentrum.

God beliggenhet og sentralt til alle fasiliteter. 15 min. fra flyplass. Nær park, havn (spiseplasser og butikker), strand, severdigheter og sentrum.

Kort promenad till havet och till gamla staden. Bodde på tionde våning med balkong och en fanstastiskt utsikt över hav, berg och stad. En bra frukostbuffé.

Själva Spa delen var inte något att hurra för direkt, en liten Jacuzzi. Men för övrigt väligt bra

Estuve una noche alojada y os cuento mi opinión -Atención: Elpersonal muy amable, dicen que la hora de entrada es a las 14:00hrs, yo llegué antes y pensaba dejar mis cosas y salir pero me ofrecieron darme anticipadamente la habitación. MUY AMABLES. -Limpieza: La valoro mal porque el lavabo tenia las entrerajolas sucias y esoindica que la limpieza no es a fondo. Además la bañera tenía restos de "negro". La habitacion si estaba limpi pero debajo de la cama había algo de polvo. - La ubicación es buena y las vistas impresionantes desde su terraza. - Ofrecen como parte del precio un acceso al gimnasio, y al SPA pero lo malo es que el horario es sólo por la tarde por lo que si tienes el programa organizado te corta o no puedes aprovecharlo como fue en mi caso. - En cuanto a comodidad: Es normalita no parece de 4*, diria que el espacio de la habitación es pequeña para lo que habitualmente encuentro en los 4*. Saludos

Hotellet ligger tæt ved strand, butikker, busser og en kort gåtur ind til byen. Lufthavnsbussen holder 2 min derfra. Super beliggenhed og fantastisk hotel

Hotellet ligger rigtigt godt i Malaga - tæt på stranden og tæt på butikkerne. Hotellet har altan på alle værelserne. Personalet er enorm søde og hjælpsomme. Fin morgenmad og mulighed for at parkere i parkeringskælder. Alt i alt et dejligt sted, god service og venligt personalet. V

Spa-avdelingen burde vært åpen også på søndag.. Vi hadde tenkt å bruke siste kveld til avslapping, men da var det stengt. Ellers kort vei til strand, god service, bra renhold, fin beliggenhet og egentlig ingenting å klage på :) Anbefales!

Bra hotell med hög standard. Bo så högt upp som möjligt pga trafiken. Vi bodde på våning 8 och där var det relativt tyst.

Det eneste minus er trafikstøj. Inde i værelset hører man det ikke, men man kan ikke holde ud at sidde på altanen før kl.21. På tagterrassen, der åbner kl.16.30, er det ok.

Enige minpunt is het verkeersgeluid wat aan de straatzijde duidelijk aanwezig is. Hierdoor kun je 's nachts maar beter niet een raam of deur open laten op het balkon. Goed alternatief is de aanwezige airco. Verder een uitstekend hotel voor een weekje Malaga en omgeving. Wij waren er begin oktober 2011.

Ich,Grossvater mit 81 Jahren genoss mit meinem Enkel Dr.med.David König von St.Gallen wunderbare Ferien in ihrem Hotel.Die freundliche Atmosphäre ,sowie das schöne Wetter und die aussergewöhnlich gute Lage mit der Möglichkeit zu einem feinen Morgenbüffet haben unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen.Mit dem sehr nahem Bus-Anschluss zum Bahnhof und Flughafen standen viele bequeme Möglkichkeiten offen. Dieses Hotel ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Wir freuen uns auf''s nächste Jahr. Martin König von Uzwil ,Schweiz

Perfekt läge! 200m till bra bad. En kort promenad till de mest intressanta sevärdheterna. Bra rum och trevlig personal. Utmärkt frukostbuffé. På grund av det centrala läget en hel del biltrafik, men om man bor en bit upp stör det inte speciellt. Vi önskade lägst vån 6 vid bokningen. Fick rum på vån 8. Även önskemålet om P-plats var tillgodosett. Rekommenderas stark!
