Very convenient location with splendid services. An evening meal comes with your stay with a good selection of choices. Staff is friendly. A negative part is their parking place was full and parking house nearby cost too much. Wi-fi working to full satisfaction. Will certainly stay there more often....

The door squeaked, end- table lamp not plugged in, bulbs burned out. In three nights, never saw any maintenance personnel.

A great location and had the tower that is so worth visiting, but it is very expensive like all of Norway but as expensive as Oslo, which surprised me.

We got to the hotel after a LONG day of travel across Norway. The clerk was delightful. We were given the option to upgrade to a suite for a small cost which we did. Then she asked if we were hungry and went to the bar area - bringing back two plates of fruit, yogurt, and sandwiches. The breakfast was wonderful and we went back after the close shopping and sightseeing for pancakes in the afternoon. Their "light" dinner is DINNER. It was delicious and substantial. This hotel stay was the perfect end to a 10 day European trip.

This hotel is very nice; staff are friendly and helpful; breakfasts are very good and dinners are adequate; location is terrific. Our standard room was quite small with little room for suitcases and no hanging space for clothing. We would stay here again but would want a larger room.

The staff was not helpful, unfriendly, and gave incorrect information. Various staff member said to take a taxi to the cruise terminal, as it would cost the same as the cruise shuttle. NOT true, it cost a lot more. The phone was broken in the room, therefore, no wake-up call or ability to call the front desk. You better not want any privacy in the bathroom because the glass door allows for none. This is very expensive hotel that is not worth the price. It doesn't take much to be helpful and friendly when your guests are paying more than other hotels in the area.

More importance given to fancy shapes and colors than functionality but overall very convenient for an overnight stay.

The hotel was well situated at the end of Bryggen close to the centre of Bergen. It was quite a funky, boutique style Scandinavian hotel. Our room was very comfortable, although not huge perfectly adequate. Bathroom and shower were fine. The breakfasts were good - plenty of choice from cooking your own bacon and eggs through to fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals etc. The evening buffet was something hot like chicken and salmon with rice and cold cuts and salad. It would probably have got a bit boring for more than 2-3 nights, but was great value, generally food and drink in Bergen was double central London prices (e.g. £10 for a pint of lager, £18 for a burger and chips). (Incidentally, well worth buying wine boxes or beer from duty free when you land at Bergen airport if you are going to want a drink in the evenings.) It is well worth going up the tower which is almost like a mini museum in its own right.

Excellent location, very elegant hotel yet behind and below very dusty, so don't move any item in your room. Very good breakfast but very self service, including clearing your table after you eat. For the amount they charge (highest in Bergen?) it is not too much to expect that they'll employ few more people to serve the customers, rather than having the guests work for them . very poor service when something (like instant coffee) is missing . Limited parking.

I can highly recommend this hotel. The location was perfect. the staff was professional and courteous. the room was clean and comfortable. the included meals were sufficient. If going to Bergen again, I would stay here.

Comfortable, clean, well located, excellent value with buffet breakfast, tea and supper included in the cost! Be sure to take the stairs to the roof once; it's a historical tour! General decor is an aesthetic challenge, but a very nice place to stay otherwise.

This hotel is very well situated on the waterfront near the historic Hanseatic quarter. It is very comfortable and is modern but built around some interesting historic features. The staff are very polite and the amenities are good. The value for money is very good, even if the price initially seems high, as the price of eating out in Norway is very high and the price for this hotel includes a very good evening buffet meal, day long tea, coffee and fruit, and "do-it-yourself" pancakes during the afternoon. Highly recommended, I would stay there again on any future visit to Bergen.

Norway is extremely expensive. This hotel may seem like it is expensive, but a good breakfast and dinner saves you the time and expense of eating out in Bergen. The food is healthy and there is sufficient choice. The rooms are nice and the location is unbeatable.

This hotel was a great deal for Norway. The light dinner and breakfast included were really quite good. The parking was a bit expensive but it was right next to the hotel so it was convenient and safe. You do need to know how things work in Norway - you put your credit card into the parking meter at the garage and get a tag for the car and then put the credit card back into the meter when you leave the next day and that charges you for your time. Without using the card at time of exit, the charge will continue to mount up. Same with keys in the doors. Key card into door as you enter and again when you leave to lock the door.

The hotel was in an excellent location. It was an easy walk to most of the sights, the fish market, train station, museums, shops, etc. It was a charming building that had been the Harbor Master's Office. The rooms were a nice size and the beds were very comfortable. The included buffet breakfast was outstanding. Guests could have an afternoon snack of pancakes and a dinner buffet was also included. These meals were a great bargain as the restaurant prices in Bergen were ridiculously high. Free Internet access was provided in the lobby. This is THE place to stay in Bergen!

Unusual decore in hotel. Room a bit dark but a reasonable size. Perfectly clean with all amenities. Afternoon pancakes and light dinner was great. Hotel located near major tourist attactions.

At first glance this hotel looked like a winner - and we were paying for it through the nose. The weather in Bergen was unusually hot. The room was like a sauna. We could only open the windows abnout 6 inches but the sun was shining in the window making it even hotter. We had to keep the curtains drawn. We couldn't sleep it was so hot. The ventilation system didn't work in our room. They gave us a fan the next day. I couldn't get the shower to work. Ihad to wash up in the tub. They said to turn the water on harder, and it should work. I did, but the drain stopped up and water came through the drain in the floor and flooded the bathroom. When I went down to tell them, one of the ladies at reception laughed. They sent someone up 20 minutes later to sop up the mess. They use card keys. But when you leave your room, the door doesn't always automatically lock. Make sure you check before you leave your room! The food was not that good - and it took forever for them to clean up after breakfast or dinner. If you eat there, eat early or else you'll have to clean up after someone else. The Clarion in Copenhagen is much much better. All in all, our room was so hot we only slept there, and the people just didn't really care.

Excellent location, modernly designed hotel, offers a complimentary dinner buffet. But - hotel staff at the reception is extremely unfriendly and not helpful!!

We were extremely pleased with our total of six nights stay and feel we were in the best choice of hotels in Bergen. We were a little sad to leave. Both rooms were very attractive, well maintained, great location, and very comfortable. The lobby is very attractive and inviting. All the staff members were extremely customer service oriented--very friendly and helpful. This hotel offered three meal options a day--buffet breakfast, midafternoon do-it-yourself pancakes, and buffet dinner included in the cost of the room. We soon realized how important this service was because of the high cost of dining out in Bergen. There was unlimited coffee and tea and free internet access which was a real plus. The location of the hotel is fantastic--right on the Bryggen. The airport bus stopped outside--very convenient. We feel we had the best of everything we wanted. We do not have one negative comment. On a scale of 1 to 10, we would rate this hotel as an 11 :-o). I would recommend it to anyone contemplating a visit to Bergen.

Our booking said that we had booked into a double room with two double beds, however when we arrived, we were in a very small room with only one bed. We had to show the booking form to get moved and in the end moved to an executive double instead which had a bigger bed and a view. The hotel was also more expensive and not as stylish as the Oslo version of the same chain. The food wasn't as nice either. Great location though and comfortable bed. I also get really annoyed when hotels say they want to be green, and encourage you to hang your towels up, but they wash them anyway!

Overlook the purple decor, for the location and comfort are very nice for the traveller in Bergen. With a generous buffet breakfast (and supper), and availability of coffee, tea, and fruit in the afternoon, it is a homey place. The airport bus stops right in front of the hotel, so avoid the taxis in this walkable town, since we were charged double the posted fare on our trip back to the airport.

Hotel stay was great. Hotel is very central. Staff very accommodating. We would go back again.

This hotel is just excellent in EVERY way. The location is wonderful, the service is excellent, the food is very good, the atmosphere is Bergen at it's best! Highly recommended!

Nice hotel with pleasant staff. Location is great, easy walking distance to sights. The airport shuttle stops right in front of the hotel for easy access to the airport. We arrived early (about noon), but the reception staff let us check into our room early. Room was nicely decorated, very comfortable, and clean. One item to note: the door into the bathroom was a sliding glass door -- had a design on it, but you could see through it. Not an issue for us (married couple), but worthwhile to note if there will be anyone else in the room while you take a shower!

The location of this hotel was brilliant as it is within walking distance of all the sights. The food was lovely especially the afternoon waffles and the evening buffet which were complimentary. This is a big bonus in Norway as eating out is very expensive. The staff were very helpful. The only thing I did not like were the see through glass bathroon walls!!!!!

Perfect location for visitor. Very kind staffs. Free internet. Superb breakfast and even light dinner were free. Airport bus starts in front of the hotel. Enjoyed the steam and dry sauna free. Much more than I expected.

Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening, god mat og fin innredning og atmosfære. Vi var to stk på et vanlig rom, og da hadde vi ikke mye plass, men det gikk helt fint.

Generelt fint opphold, men på hotellbekreftelsen sto det inkludert Middag. Den viste seg å være en elendig kveldsbufet. Neste dag gikk vi for å spise middag.

God plassering i bybildet. Flott intriør og et vennlig persenal. Minuset må være tidspunktet for renhold av rommet. Dette må skje tidligere på dag da rommet er forlatt.

Flott bygning og en flott plassering. Lyspære var gått på badet og ble ikke skiftet under oppholdet. Fikk ikke tilgang til internett det første døgnet.. Gratis kveldsmat stagget den verste sulten, men nakkekoteletter det nesten ikke gikk an å tygge. Frokostbuffeten nesten tom for egg og bacon 30 min før frokosten var ferdig. God seng og hyggelige foki resepsjonen

Jeg og en venninne sov på Clarion hotell Havnekontoret siste helgen i oktober-11. Det vil vi virkelig anbefale videre. Sentralt, trendy, men samtidig ærverdig. Rommene var kjempefine. Litt trekk for innsyn til bad fra rommet, men det betydde lite i det store og hele. Hit skal vi garantert igjen :) ANBEFALES.

ベルゲンには★★★★★Hotelはないと思うので（定かではありませんが）、ブリッゲンにあるという立地とサービス努力からお勧めしたいと思います。 建物自体は重厚感があり歴史を十分に感じさせてくれますが、部屋はそろそろ改装が必要だと思います。せめて角部屋にしてもらわないと数日を過ごすのは無理だと感じます。 フロント従業員は皆女性で非常にやさしく、丁寧に対応してくれますが、若い方が多いので質の高いレストラン情報など無理な印象でこの辺がこのHotelの限界かも知れません。食事は簡単な夕食もビュッフェで用意してあります。夕食付きと思ってしまうとがっかりするのでしょうが、補助だと思うと十分すぎる努力だと思います。昼間には自分でパンケーキも焼け北欧のおいしいジャムとクリームチーズで食べれば最高です。朝食も豪華ではありませんが、自分で卵とベーコンが焼ける、暖かいDishが食べれるのも努力だと思いました。 このHotelは知らない方も多いと思いますが、屋上があるので是非上ってください。ブリッゲンの街が一望に見渡せ、たぶん街中では1番の景観が見れます。

Bien place, très beau bâtiment. Chambre un peu petite, même avec un "beau"prix. Choix du petit déjeuner OK, mais le choix du diner n´est pas intéressant.

Perfekt läge, fina och trevliga rum, utmärkt service. Efter att ha bott på skruttiga hotell tidigare letade vi på nätet för att hitta Bergens bästa hotell. Jag tror vi hittade det. Man kliver ut ur receptionen och befinner sig 20m från den berömda "Bryggen" där man hittar många trevliga butiker och restauranger. Hotellets personal var oerhört hjälpsamma med allt från att boka bord på restaurang till att ge oss is för att kyla ner fisk vi hade köpt på marknaden. Vi fick även komma upp i hotellets torn för att titta på utsikten över staden. Frukostbuffén var utmärkt, och kvällsbuffén likaså. Trevligt att ha möjlighet att steka sina egna pannkakor på eftermiddagen. Om du ska till Bergen är Havnekontoret ett utmärkt val.

Super hotel, dejlige senge, Dejligt med dk tv 1 på værelserne ,Ligger meget smukt.og nemt til alle seværdigheder.Bus lige ud for hotellet 15 min til banegården på gå ben. Rigtig god morgenmad-aftensmad

Riesige, sehr schön gestylte Zimmer, sehr netter Service, sehr reichhaltiges und feines Frühstückbuffet. Sauna hat weder Thermometer noch Hydrometer und keinen Notknopf.

Tiny rooms, garbage left in the room, problems with internet connection. No service at the breakfast that was quite limited. Doesn´t recommend the included evening meal. Expensive parking.

Restaurant, Halbpension: Buffet am Abend ist bescheiden, das warme Essen ist primitiv! Die Räume sind dunkel und ungemütlich!
