Hampton Inn and Suites Brownsville - براونفيل

Room was comfortable and clean, everything worked, breakfast was good!

Have used before, never a bad stay.

The room looked great .. But little by little I started noticing so many faults.. The bed was very uncomfortable and my head sunk through the pills as I was laying on them. They also advertised free wi-fi but it took almost 1 hour to connect to it.. The mini fridge wasent working to good, there was no DVD player in the room. Then as we were leaving my wife was letting me know she had small insect bites on her ankles.. So it really wasent a great expirence..

We asked for a late checkout and only got 30 minutes extra...and we stayed two nights!

No complaints except the fact that the wi-fi didn't work severely hampered by business trip. I told the front desk and no one seemed to know what to do. Maybe they didn't care? They just told me to come to the front lobby and use my laptop there. Great. Thank you. I'll stay somewhere else.

my family was happy with the room

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the hotel gym was a nice bonus.

Everything was AWEsome......except sofa bed. Kids had to sleep on the floor!

I enjoyed my stay, but I just wish the pool and jacuzzi was open until midnight or at least have it open for only guests 24hrs and swim at their own risk.

It was clean and nice!

Pool too small and ditry looking. Room and bed very comfortable

Beds were pretty hard. Someone left their underwear on the top of the window and the maids apparently didn't see it either. The rest of the room was very clean. Pool was nice; staff was excellent.

was great; staff exceptionally friendly. we even left the hotel staff a note thanking them for such a clean room!!

Fun and great at a great price

The back entrance with card lock was not functional or intermittent. I had to walk around the building several times, I told the front desk a couple times with no response. I may not stay there again. I was disappointed - Hampton Inn standards not being met here. Very good breakfast.

I like the friendly staff and a very clean place. Breakfast was really good and it is right in between a lot of shopping centers.

Was going on spring break and waiting too long to get a hotel on the island. The Hampton inn though was really nice and the breakfast was great. The drive all the way from the island wasn't bad either bc of the easy accessibility.

Shopping and several restaurants within walking distance. Very clean, staff is friendly, free breakfast is great.

The front -desk staff (ALL OF THEM) were exceptionally courteous and friendly and that courtesy and friendliness extended to the restaurant and housecleaning staff. I would ABSOLUTELY stay there again.

there was construction while going to the hotel.. hotel was very clean, and had very nice service .. room was very clean and comfy.. only thing i had problem was the ac kinda made my body feel very icky.. but other than that i would definitely recommend it and i would stay there again..

great hotel, nice and clean,good and friendly staff,excellent location but the only thing was that at the time of my stay, the Expressway frontage road into the hotel was under construction and provided some nuisance for all. I'm sure that it won't be long before it's finished.....

This hotel was nice, clean, maybe a little more than i expected. The continental breakfast was awesome, it was more than just muffins and coffee, there were eggs, bacon , waffles etc. For our trip it actually saved us a large amount of money. There were five of us traveling and having breakfast every day at the hotel saved me from having to spend money at a restaurant. Location was pretty nice, right behind is a best buy and a shopping mall, and then next door to the hotel is a chuck e cheese. The main disappointment i had in the hotel ,was the chinese restaurant next door! The front desk staff at night has a major attitude and I kinda wanted to tell him if he was so unhappy with his job to get another one, but we managed through that and the day staff was very nice. The breakfast staff was very nice and helpful showing us around, and helping the kids if they needed it. We traveled to South Padre Island while we were here and it was only about 30 minutes away. It was near the highway you take to get there, so getting lost wasnt a problem. The price for this hotel is much cheaper than it would have been had we stayed on the island, so that is what attracted us to this hotel. So glad we booked here, and if we go back we will likely book here again! Highly recommended for familes, the one bedroom suite was spacious, and clean, plenty of room for everyone , although the couch that made into a bed was thin and springy. Good choice for the price, and great for families!!

this is just off Hwy 77 and located in the midst of shopping and restaurants. About 25 miles from South Padre and minutes from the border. Room was really comfortable and clean and I enjoyed the staff. Really cant come up with any negatives.

upon checking in the staff was very rude and told us that since we had paid we were stuck there but could leave however they would not reimburse us. the lights in the room did not work. the pool was freezing so my children could not swim. in the morning we even got a call asking if we were leaving as check-out was in 20 minutes. i have noted that i will NEVER stay at this hotel again!! they made my mother's day weekend a very upsetting one!

Great service, very clean, good breakfast.
