Pirate's Inn - روكلي

We stayed at the Pirate Inn our first night in Barbados. Since it was our first time in Barbados, actually first time in the Caribbean, we were a little taken aback by the state of the neighborhood. It is in disrepair and arriving at night, it seemed a little sketchy. In retrospect though (after seeing the entire island), the Pirate Inn is a typical budget island hotel and had...by far the friendliest service and iis a true gem as others have reviewed. The hotel is a little dated, but very clean and well situated just across the street from Accra beach which is a great family beach with easy surf and lots of pink sand. We ate at the Pirate's Inn restaurant and had possibly the best meal we ate on the island, even though we ate at much more expensive restaurants. The rum punch is the best we had and the pasta dishes and flying fish were excellent. We were scheduled to return at the end of our timeshare stay but cancelled just for the sake of simplicity. We would gladly return to the Pirate's Inn again! Thanks for the great island hospitality!

We were very pleased by the friendliness and willingness to help of the staff. The initial impression of the building was not particularly good by US standards. But looks can be deceiving. The staff made our stay of one night so enjoyable. It is within a short walk of the boardwalk and beach. The room is an efficiency which allowed us to make tea.

The room was spacious and clean. It came with a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and stove. Had the feel of an efficiency apartment. There are some important details to note. To make overseas calls you need to purchase a phone card from the front desk, and a/c is an extra $10.00. Great for a family trying to save on restaurants.

Tutto perfetto: posizione a due passi dalla spiaggia e dal boardwalk, da una piccola zona commerciale e da numerosi ristoranti. Cucina della stanza completa di tutto il necessario e personale disponibile. Ottimale per la famiglia.

Um hotel confortável, silencioso, com uma equipe de funcionários simpáticos e alegres. Bem localizado, asseado, com uma cozinha equipada com vários eletrodomésticos, próximo a belas praias, restaurantes, enfim, tudo o que o turista necessita para uma estadia feliz. Recomendo!

Der Aufenthalt im Pirates Inn ist rundum zufriedenstellend! Die Lage, in Hastings, wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in Laufnähe, ist hervorragend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig und geräumig, vor allem aber war alles sehr sauber! Das Hotelrestaurant haben wir nicht genutzt, da die Umgebung genug Möglichkeiten bieten. Im Hotel wir kostenlos W-Lan angeboten, auch ein PC und Internet steht gegen eine geringe Gebühr zur Verfügung. Den Service hoteleigene Strandhandtücher zu benutzen, fanden wir besonders toll. Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert!
