hotel's being renovated, so no pool, and lobby half painted. they tell you this up front. staff is very helpful; room tidy and pretty, breakfast quite substantial, fresh fruit too. they are having trouble with wifi in the rooms, but it's easily to be had in the lobby and breakfast space. very convenient to airport.

The pool was being redone so there was no pool. The breakfast the next day was o.k. The first room I was given smelled of smoke, no remote for the TV, no drain for the bathroom, and two lights were not working. After I requested a different room, they did give me another room which was better but still not a great quality. The hotel definatley needs to be revamped.

Noise heater, face plate falling off. Holes in blanket. Great water pressure in the sink - all over the room. Have no idea why they insisted that I register for a room for two when there was only one person. Also don't know why my wake-up call for 7:10 came at 5:10. I can understand the electricity going off eight times in an hour and a half - remodeling, but don't know why their supposed connectivity was only one bar and I conldn't connect. It was inexpensive but that is only about the only fair point. Maybe in a year or two, when they finish remodeling, it might be a nice place but they really do need to learn to close the access doors to the parking lot or anyone could walk in, security is a joke.

This hotel is one of most run down and filthiest I’ve EVER stayed in! There is no elevator to the upper floor so you have to carry your suitcases up the stairs, the bathroom shower was stopped up due to a massive hair clog that I had to get out so the water could drain out, the bed sheet had a BIG dirt spot in the center of it (took pictures as proof), and there was dried blood drops on the side of the bed (also took pictures as proof). No wonder if cost $40 a night less than its competitors; they’re not paying anyone to clean the rooms!

The room was nice and comfortable. The hotel was under renovations so the lobby did not look too appealing.

The hotel still renovating. Once is all done it will look so nice. But right now only the room met my expectation. Cleanliness and service was really good. Hope renovation is over soon.

I in this, my second visit to the Bradley Hotel, it was nice to see that improvements are finally being made to the public spaces. It would be nice to see the rooms updated soon as they are acceptable though basic, and are no reason to make the bradley a destination. Making sure there are light bulbs our just making the rooms lighter would go a long way toward improving that part of the experience.

this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had- and I've been to many- the clerk led us on a wild goose chase to three dirty- not even serviced- rooms and the"non-smoking" room reeked of cigarette smoke. Kids were excited about the pool- it was all tore up and would not be in services for what looks like years.

pretty straightforward, this is a cheap hotel, stucco was falling off building, moss growing in the cracks outside the window, the room itself was mediocre, and the pool was closed

This hotel has definitely seen better days - like sometime back in the 50s or 60s. It's got kind of a perma-rennovation thing going on. The non-smoking room I stayed in smelled a bit like cigarette smoke because the corridor outside reeked!!! The thing I can say for the place is that it is clean. The wifi - even plugged in - is spotty back in the rooms but good nearer the front desk. It's cheap and a clean place to sleep and the breakfast is acceptable and pretty standard continental breakfast fare. The staff were VERY accommodating which made up for a lot!

ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE BEDS WERE A LITTLE HARD. POOL IS STILL NOT FINISHED BUT I ALREADY KNEW THAT BEFORE HAND.

Stayed here overnight because we had an early morning flight. The front desk staff was very nice and accomodating. Hotel was still under major renovation - has potential. Guest room was filthy. So much dust on the dresser I could write my name in it. Room got warm in the middle of the night - but I was afraid to touch the air conditioning unit - it was so filthy. Bathroom was clean. Appeared as if hotel was being used for low income housing..... If I hadn't prepaid for the hotel - I would have found other accomadations.

The hotel is conveniently located ten minutes from the arrival & departure at Bradley Int'l Airport. It is under renovation yet when I was there (Sunday/Monday was not noisy). The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean but I think I could get that tub cleaner with SoftScrub. The complimentary breakfast was cold (yogurts, cereal, good bagels, nice fruit etc.) but certainly a fine way to get the day going. The coffee was hot and very good. I do believe it will be a fine place if the renovations continue.

You get what you pay for. It was quiet and the room was updated. The hotel is under construction, but I never heard any noise. Awesome value for the price paid.

The hotel was still under construction. Buckets in the lobby from a water leak overhead. We had 4 people in our room and only got towels for 2. Took a shower and the water was luke warm and the tub filled up above my ankles while taking the shower. The coffee pot was disgustingly dirty. The room was freezing when we arrived. Hallways are not clean.

Never ever again, I deserve to have my money back. Staff very cold, they were standing overlooking the continental breakfast like they were serving belgium waffles and all they had was warm pulpy oj, stale bagels an mufffins. Garbage in the hallways ,dirty spreads, the bathroom door was disgusting. I am very upset, unsatisfied, and displeased.

I was disappointed to find that the hotel was under construction when I arrived. The advertised pool was not available and the hot breakfast was not available either. I shouldn't complain for the price, though. Our first room was fine but smelled horrible (smoke). I immediately called them and asked if they had a non-smoking room. They responded with "all of our rooms are non-smoking". So I asked if they had a non-smoking room that doesn't smell like smoke. They reassigned me to a new room which was recently renovated. Some of the renovations weren't complete (Some paint on the trim and the bathroom sink looked a little pieced together). Fortunately it was clean and smelled nice. Most of the staff was very friendly and once they finish the renovations this will be a great hotel. I would recommend it. Great location. Good price.

We left after one night because the smell of cigarette smoke was too strong. If you don't mind that smell the the place is ok for the money, but we disliked it strongly.

This hotel was much further from the airport than I expected. The lobby and corridors were in various stages of reconstruction. There was no elevator and finding my room involved navigating several long corridors without adequate signage. The hotel staff gave me the wrong directions (only with reluctance) to the airport. I used this hotel to get a few hours of sleep before an early flight - not the convenience I expected or needed. I will not be staying again.

I had 2nd floor room. The hallway smelled horribly of smoke just to get into the room! My skin smelled of smoke by the time I got in my room. My bed sheets must not have been changed from the previous person b/c there were hairs and what looked like flakes of skin in it! How disgusting! The bathroom was nicely cleaned and up to date. The sliding glass door was left unlocked. That's just a safety issue for sure.

This was by far the most unprofessional way of handling a problem I have ever encountered. When I got back to my room after a long and exhausting day I found that my room had not been cleaned. I called front desk and explained that my room had not been cleaned my complaint was met with rudeness and an attitude of I don’t care and if you don’t like it too bad. I was going to stay there another week instead I changed to another hotel, got a call from a manager who seemed to be apologetic but when I suggested that he do something that would earn my business again he stated that there was no way that he would fulfill my request. Well there is another hotel close by. Thanks but no thanks. If I was the manager of a hotel that wants to keep a guest that had stayed in my hotel 4 times before had 2 rooms in one night and tells me he wants to come back all I have to do is give him a lower rate for just one night to show I wanted his business back I think I would give him a night free instead. But that’s just me

Thee custmer sierves was great .the rooms where a site to see lol but all in all the place was not something i can complane.i had a good time there

My son was stranded at the Bradley Airport during holiday travel season, with very little money and no car. I booked him into this hotel at the last minute specifically because it was listed as having an airport shuttle. My son soon found there was no shuttle. I called Hotels.com and asked if, since the hotel didn't offer the amenities it claimed to, that I get a refund despite its "no refund" status. Hotels.com agreed this was reasonable, and called the hotel for me. The hotel flat out refused. Hotels.com felt bad, and offered to cover the cost of a taxi themselves. This is the reason I book with them--excellent service! The Bradley Hotel--obviously customer service is of zero importance to these people. I am sorry to have given them my business, and happy for the opportunity to warn others away from this unfriendly joint.

A basic hotel with a more reasonable price than surrounding hotels. This was very convenient to the airport with a Shuttle Service. We were pleasantly surprised that they allowed us to leave our car at the hotel for a less expensive rate than many of the park and fly places. Overall, nothing fancy but clean and convenient!

My husband and I stay at this hotel regularly when he visits his kids in CT and it's the best room we've found for the rate. It could use some upgrades and the walls have visible nails and screws from upkeep but it's not a bad hotel. It's got a couch, desk and coffee table in it and it doesn't feel cramped at all. We like it. The breakfast is good too. =)

Very friendly and helpful staff.

The beds were comfy and was a nice area, friendlys staff, only this is the pool area and the leaking roof. But other then that i would definitely stay here again

It was bad. I hated it. Smoke smell on non-smoking floors. Dirty, horrible customer service. I wouldnt go there again.

The room decor is outdated and old looking including sheets, drapes and carpet. Room furniture is old and uncoordinated. The coat rack is not in a closet, there's just a coat bar with hangars in a corner of your room. The TVs are CRT with no inputs for a portable dvd player. No HBO. There's no elevator. You can't park your car near your room, because all the other doors except for the front entrance are locked. The key cards are poor quality, and you will have get your key reprogrammed even if you take precautions to keep it from your credit cards and cell phone. Going back to the front desk is pain, because it's far away from the rooms.

I shouldn't have been surprised, I suppose because this was one of the least expensive motels near Bradley Intn'l Airport, but it really is showing its age. The lobby is expansive and smacks of former glory days, but now the place just looks shabby and sad. I was on a 1 week+ trip and therefore had one large suitcase and a smaller one which I had to carry up to the second floor because there was no elevator. Another surprise. The continental breakfast was adequate. The staff were pleasant.

This hotel could use a little renovation and they are currently working on that. It was clean and convenient especially for the price. When we asked for more towels we were accomodated right away. Hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was good.

From the time we entered the building, it smelled musty -- no air circulation. Once we reached our room, the air reeked of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room; the carpet was dirty; the door to the bathroom was so dirty I felt I should have brought some cleaning supplies; and the TV did not work because the connected cable was damaged. We requested another room which was right next door. The only improvement there was that the TV worked and the bathroom door was clean. The air was so stifling of cigarette smoke that we could not wait to get out of the building. We had difficulty sleeping for obvious reasons, and we made sure to cover with the sheet only and moved the spread and blanket away. It was the dirtiest lodging. I WOULD NOT STAY THERE EVEN IF IT WERE FREE.

Management is very rude and condescending. Hairs(pubic) in Bathtub as soon as I checked in. Employees untrained/unknowledgable of hotel policies. In empty/scary neighborhood not close to any other business. Extremely disappointed in entire experience with this location and WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!

We stayed at this hotel during the insane snow storm of Oct 2011. The hotel like the much of CT lost power. We found the staff to be kind and helpful. They even tried to have a hot breakfast available using catering sterno cans to keep things warm. It was a decent hotel at an affordable rate.

I never write reviews, but I had such a bad experience at this hotel....I had to say something. Yes, it's cheap and close to the airport, only reason we selected them from online. The hallway to the rooms smelled horrible! The smell actually made my wife gag every time we stepped into the hallway. The bathroom had someone else's hairs all over the place, so we skipped taking our morning shower. The complimentary breakfast was a joke, giving away hard muffins, and the milk was outdated. The bed was extremely hard and we both had a very hard time sleeping. The area around the hotel is dirty and in a bad area, and even had another person in the parking lot ask me for money. I know this all sounds made up, wish it was......but this was our experience in October of 2011. Horrible experience!

Rolled in at 2am exhausted. Filthy and smelly hallways, articles of clothing strewn about on main floor and second floor in front of my room. My request for a cleaning crew was not honored, and the same filth was there the following morning. The room condition itself was okay for a low-cost hotel, until I discovered a bloodstain that was not mine on the other side of the pillowcase the next morning. The room lacked some bathroom essentials. The staff were quite apathetic. I was glad to run out the next morning!

Room was fair, very small pillows, not very clean, pool area had signs of mold, definately a low end hotel, if your looking for a cheap sleep for a night it may be worth it, I won't go back.

The hotel personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably clean. The door to the bathroom in my room would not shut (hinges seemed to be seized), and the corridors stank of mildew from the indoor pool (probably a ventilation effort would take the moisture away from the carpeted floors). Seemed a safe area.

Yes, the carpet was a little warn in the hallways. (Who rents a room for the quality of hall carpet?) There was no fan in the bathroom, and the bathroom faucet had a tendency to shoot water at your midriff if you put it on too hard. But this place was awesome for the cheap price. The breakfast was amazing. Everything you could want for breakfast without the eggs, meat, and waffles. There was a huge dish of fresh sliced mixed fruit and melon, good selection of other breakfast food. The pool was nice: great temperature of water and air. The kids were ready to leave before I was. Nice atmosphere, clean. The location was super convenient. The staff were very helpful (especially when I ran into the lobby yelling about where to find the closest emergency room! Thanks for the help on that one, Guys). Looked like it would be a very nice place for a conference or wedding. The facilities were pretty classy. I will certainly stay there again. (oh, and if your 4-year-old needs stitches after closing her finger in the door, Conn Childrens Medical center ROCKS! )
