Everything about the hotel was fine, and the staff was helpful. Meeting our friends in the heart of old Florence was a little bit of a hassle, but manageable. My only complaint is not having free internet.

We were greeted and room was ready early. Super room, helpful staff and 5 mins from airport. A lovely way to conclude a week in Italy.

The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very modern and clean. The breakfast is excellent!!! I recommend it!!!

This was an excellent choice for our last day in Italy, with a 6:30 am flight from Peretola. It's a 5 minute drive to the airport, where dropping off the vehicle was easy. It's also a fast bus ride to the stazione, which is walking distance to just about anything you'd want to see in Firenze. The only thing I would have loved is a bathrobe in the room. All else was comfortable, clean, in great working order. Staff were most helpful with bus tickets and route advice.

This hotel is very clean, outfitted with modern decor and facilities, and is very conveniently located near the airport in Florence. We found the staff to be super accommodating, and very friendly. We stayed there one night at the beginning of our trip, and decided to stay there again at the end of our trip. On our second stay there, they allowed us to check to one room very early, and offered to store our luggage until our other room was ready. The concierge made taxi and restaurant reservations for us, and basically bent over backwards to make sure our stay was care-free and positive. We would highly recommend this hotel as a Florence airport destination.

This boutique hotel had everything we were looking for at the end of a great vacation in Italy. It was very contemporary in style, very comfortable to stay in and extraordinarily convenient to the airport! It was literally only about 3-5 minutes by cab to get there. The cab fare was around 10 Euros. The available breakfast was great as well. All positive things about this hotel - I'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Probably not as convenient to downtown if you're there to see the sights of Florence, but otherwise a great place to stay if you're catching an early flight out like we were.

The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. Staff was great! Breakfast was very good and in a great dining area. The only drawback to the hotel was that it was difficult to find due to poor street signage, one way streets and a misleading online map. I would suggest getting very specific directions prior to arrival.

We were in Italy for 4 weeks. This was the best hotel in terms of design, comfort and style.We chose it to spend our last night before flying out of Florence early the next a.m.. Good location in terms of access to airport, about 5 -10 minute taxi ride. The desk clerk told us that buses to old part of city (museums, galleries, gardens) run frequently. We walked the neighborhood and enjoyed a local park and dinner at a nearby cafe. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very clean and modern. The rooms are a good size for Europe. It is a great location for catching an early morning flight at the airport - less than a 10 minute drive. There is a bus out front of the hotel that will take you directly to the railway station in Florence in about 15 minutes. It came in very handy as we used it to return from a Fiorentina Soccer game. The staff were very friendly and helped arrange for taxis and recommendations to local restaurants. Overall i would highly recommend this hotel.

Very modern, upscale, high tech property. It was very comfortable, beds were great. We chose it since it was close to the airport and we had an early departure the next day. Service was wonderful as they helped with our bags, called a taxi, & offered breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel as it is close to the airport. Check in and check out were conducted politely and with minimum fuss (we arrived late and left early). The twin room with ensuite was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, the beds were comfortable and the room was a good size.

Hotel was close proximity to the FLR airport however on a VERY busy street with lots of traffice. Not ideal for a good night's rest before an international flight...or maybe just that so you do sleep on the plane. Hotel did NOT have an on site restaurant.

We were pleasantly surprised to arrive in Florence at a late hour and take a 7 minute taxi ride to the Hotel Cosmopolitan. Our room was cozy, clean and very quiet. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant there is a lovely pizzeria just down the street. The neighborhood is not historic but is conveniently located on a bus line.

Although it was a ways away from the sites it was an easy bus trip to get into the historic district. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was very good. A graet bargain for the money

I probably chose this hotel because of all of it's modern amenities. I was really surprised to see a hotel like this in a neighbourhood like this. The surrounding neighbourhood was not great, but the hotel itself was so very comfortable. Very helpful staff, free breakfast every morning, free parking (although extremely limited space) and great rooms. The rooms themselves had great bathrooms, very comfortable beds and the climat control worked beautifully. The entire hotel was very chique and well decorated. The hotel isn't in the old, historic district and in my opinion too far to walk. Because you really can't drive and park in downtown, you either take a cab or the bus. We did both. There were 3 bus lines that you could take and was pretty easy. They all stop at the Santa-Maria Novella train station and then it's an easy walk to all of the sights. Typically, we'd take a cab back to the hotel, which was between 13-15 Euro. We used Florence as a jumping off point for other day-trips and this hotel was very nice to come back to at the end of a long day. Start with the free breakfast before you leave for the day. The staff will make you a nice cappuccino - all included. Initially, the area where the hotel was concerned me a little, but after staying there a little while it became obvious that this wasn't going to be an issue. Plenty of locals getting on and off the bus nearby.

This hotel is clean, new and tastefully modern contemporary decorated, If you do not have to be in city center, this hotel is a great choice, it is about 10 min drive from Ponte Vecchio. and everything is close to the river. We had a rental car and even though we had a GPS they gave us a map with very specific instructions of where to park in the city center and how to get there from the hotel . The staff was very helpful. and multilingual.

No complaints. We were very satisfied overall with all the services at this plesant hotel. Considering the distance to the center of the city of about 15 minutes there is a bus stop in front of the hotel with a waiting time of not more than 3 to 5 minutes. ATM machines are near, convinient and safe.

We needed a hotel close to airport and reasonably close to downtown for our first night in Tuscany before moving on to Siena with a tour. This was perfect. Less - then 10 min taxi from airport (approx. 10 euros) and 20min bus downtown (approx 2.5 euros roundtrip.) Reufrbed 3 yrs ago, hotel is like new. Modern, gleaming and clean. Hotel staff exceptional with superb and clear communication skills. Breakfast buffet included and very nice. Try the coffee bar two or three blocks toward town.

The hotel is located close to the Florence airport (3 minutes away) in a nice neighborhood. Perfect if you have an early morning flight out or late night arrival. It is a 9 euro taxi to the heart of Florence. It is a wonderful example of modern Italian design. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended a wonderful Trattoria within walking distance for dinner. The room was modern, clean, and very well done. The wake up call came on time, and the taxi arrived on schedule. Highly recommended.

Vi var der i marts måned hvor aircondition anlægget ikke var tændt endnu og måtte sove med åbent vindue og larmen fra trafikken var generende. Hotellet har ganske få parkeringspladser og det er svært at finde parkeringplads i nabolaget. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme, venlige og meget gode til engelsk.

Ottimo Hotel Cosmopolitan a Firenze: nuovo,curato nell'architettura moderna e minimalista, curato anche come gestione, personale gentile e disponibile, colazione buona e varia. Fermate dell'autobus a 20 metri per andare in centro (non molte corse la domenica, ma è una carenza dell'Azienda di trasporti di Firenze). Hotel assolutamente da consigliare.

Siamo stati all'hotel Cosmopolitan nel periodo di Capodanno, ci siamo andati in macchina, e siamo ancora convinti di aver fatto la scelta giusta perche' la Toscana non è solo Firenze ma ha tantissimi altri posti da visitare. L'hotel è posizionato in una posizione strategica, a pochi kilometri dal centro (3km) ma che si puo' raggiungere in pochissimi minuti tramite l'autobus che sosta quasi davanti l'hotel.Per i piu' sfiziosi che preferisco il taxi, una corsa costa intorno ai 15€ per arrivare al centro.L'hotel è di recente costruzione, mi ha colpito in tutto, dalla super disponibilita' da parte dei dipedenti, dalla pulizia dello stesso, e in particolar modo del design che esprime, le cose piu' belle di tutte sono la colazione internazionale e in particolar modo la camera, curata nel migliore dei modi, (rispecchiano il fotografico al 100 per 100). i letti sono comodissimi, vi assicuro che a fine viaggio ve li vorrete portere con voi compresi i cuscini, la pulizia è eccellente, tutto di prima qualita'. Al mio prossimo ritorno a Firenze non avro' dubbi Cosmopolitan Hotel Firenze

Very pleased with the hotel and the staff. Friendly and acommodating, and the language was not a problem. The hotel was clean, and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was simple, but very appetizing. Also well stocked for cereals. Be advised that the hotel is placed near, but not in, a bad area of Florence.

Far from old city center! There is a bus (1,2€/Traject/person) that takes 15 minutes to get there! The rooms are nice but small! The breakfast is poor. There are no sinalization for the rooms when you leave the elevator! You need to go to one side and the other till you find your room....

Hotel Cosmopolitan kan absolutt anbefales. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening, delikat innredning og god frokostbuffet. Buss til sentrum rett utenfor. Bussturen kan være litt slitsom hvis det ikke er sitteplasser, men den tar bare 12-15 minutter.
