the condo was a nice space. Not close to anything we wanted to do.

great if you plan to golf or be in eastern Tucson. More out of the way than we expected for most good restaurants and tourist locations.

We used this as a night away from the kids and were very impressed. It seemed a little better for a summer place in that the family room tile floors were a bit cold and the furniture was not too snugly for a winter day, perhaps they could add area rugs for winter. Bedroom was carpeted and cozy and baths were luxurious. Decor was nice and the bed was the best we've ever had--wishing we had this pillow top mattress at home with soft cotton sheets. We enjoyed free on demand movies, and the frig and kitchen for breakfast. Beautifully located on the golf course near the mountains, but a bit of drive to many of Tucson's restaurants if you are choosy. Enjoyed the very clean pool and hot tub. Highly recommend this place which is really a condo at hotel prices.

It was just like the pictures. We had unit 101, ground floor facing the road and after arriving at night I thought there would be no view of the Catalinas since the unit is below the road grade, but the view was beautiful. The basics were all there (dishes, glasses, phonebooks, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, etc.). I ended up calling the Casitas office number once before we arrived and at least twice while we were there and Bill answered every time with answers to my questions. The location is far from downtown and U of A, but well worth it (about the same as a Hampton for the price we had, maybe a bit more). So for the typical price of a hotel room, it was just fantastic. Some of the reviews knocked Casitas for being noisy with groundscrew work early in the morning at Arizona National, and the units are just feet from that tee, but we didn't notice much. Our unit was on the opposite side, however. We were up early since our 3 and 5 year old kids get us up, and I did not notice excessive noise at that time (7 am or so). So if you go here, be aware that you are on the golf course (but for cryin' out loud, you're right on the golf course - it's really pretty!). The pool was nice, we didn't use the workout facility. Parking is very close and was easy. Pay attention to the directions on Casitas website for getting there, not Mapquest. There are two gates, only one with the guard. We arrived after 10 pm and had no problem. We had a fantastic experience, and having that extra room to spread out in for vacation really helped make it relaxing. Next time we go to Tucson we'll definitely stay at the Casitas.

During my recent trip to Tuscon, rather than staying at yet another overpriced and under valued "hotel", I decided to rent a 2 bedroom condo at the Sabino Springs golf resort. What a fabulous place! It came with two king size beds of great quality, a complete kitchen, huge double door SXS refrigerator, plates, glasses, cookware, microwave, coffee maker, two beautiful bathrooms, three flat panel TVs, very nice furnishings and a lovely view of the golf course and surrounding mountains. Pool and excercise room also included. VERY reasonably priced for such an elegant place to stay! This 2 BR condo is within an exclusive gated community. I highly recommend this delightful place and you will love staying there!

If you need a room and love golf this is the place for you. My room wasn't a room but a two bedroom condo right on the golf course with putting and pitching green right outside my door. This is off the beaten path but more than what I expected. Stay here if you don't need a central location and want to play golf in Tucson. The condo had some dated carpet in the bedroom but other than that was a 10 with granite everywhere, comfortabel large living space and full kitchen.

Great accomodation. Spacious, comfortable, clean, and with high end appliances and materials. Amazing surrounding community in the golf course. Well maintained neighborhood and friendly residents. Also dog friendly, our dog loved it there too.

The one thing I would have liked is instructions for getting to and checking into the place. This is not a hotel; it is inside a gated community. Our Garmin tried to direct us to the address, but led us to a locked gate. We had no idea it was inside a gated community. But it's very nice. The rooms were nicely furnished and the towels are great. They even have a washer/dryer inside the room (and they provided detergent).

This place definitely met our needs but it is not really a hotel, our experience was more like renting an apartment for several days. Pros: The pool and hot tub are steps away from the Casitas and we had it mostly to ourselves. The wildlife was abundant. The kitchen, while minimalistic, was still adequate for most needs - we did have to buy a few items like a spatula and coffee mugs - they had cups but they were very small. The neighborhood seemed safe and we walked most mornings. The neighbors were ultra friendly. Cons: It had almost everything we needed with a few very obvious omissions such as a coffee table in the living area and an adequate number of towels (our unit slept six but had only 5 towels). Most days we were woken up rather early by the golfers as the Casitas is located on the 1st tee of the golf course and the golf carts ride just a few feet from the building.

A group of my gal pals decided at the last minute to stay in Tucson. We could not have chosen a better location. It was wonderful, clean and perfect for a weekend get away with friends.

The unit was very nice. We were on the ground floor with a view of the first tee. It was very quiet, even when the golfers were on the tee, you couldn't hear them from inside. T he beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.

I enjoyed this condo very much - it worked perfectly for my work week. Be prepared to encounter nature - outside the condo, not inside!

The best part of my trip was this rental. I wanted to stay inside the whole time - I felt at home and it was beautiful. Bill the manager drove 20 miles to let me use his wired internet connection because I came without wireless.

We were there with another couple for golf at AZ National. Location and accommodations were perfect.

Muy lejos, muy solitaria la zona. En la publicidad se ve espectacular. En la realidad solo son cuartos sin servicios, no hay quien te atienda, solo un empleado te entrega las llaves, te toma tu numero de tarjeta por si algo se pierde y no lo vuelves a ver nunca. Depositas la llave en un buzon y nadie hace constar que dejaste bien la habitacion porque no hay nadie en las oficinas. Por otro lado muy tranquilo, campo de golf hace una buena vista, se duerme agusto no hay ruidos. Para comer hay que salir 15 kms aproximadamente. No lo recomiendo.

Excelentes instalaciones, tiene todas las comodidades y tiene un bonito campo de golf. Es muy recomendable para descansar y disfrutar de la vista a las montañas.

Ausstattung und Sauberkeit der Condos sind exzellent. Prima Preis-Leistungsverhaeltnis! Malerische, ruhige Lage direkt am Rand des Golfplatzes Sabino Springs, nordoestlich von Tucson! SEHR EMPFEHLUNGSWERT, wenn man sich von dem Golfbetrieb hinter dem Haus nicht gestoert fuehlt!
