W Dallas - Victory - دالاس

Everything at the hotel was great, but the pool only gets sun for a few hours a day. Starting about 11:15 am you lose most of the sun on the balcony and don't get it back the rest of the day. It hits the pool again about 3:30 pm until sunset. Pool was warm and bar service was great. We just didn't get to lounge in the sun like we had hoped. We went to take advantage of early sun on Saturday morning and there was a work out class there from 8:30-9:30 am, but we hadn't seen that publicized anywhere. We sat in the sun anyways but it was ackward with the class in session. Would stay again...just wouldn't go for intentions of relaxing in the sun all day.

We had a great stay at the W Dallas. We stayed there to attend a hockey game across the street at the AA center. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and nice. Would definitely stay there again next time we are in Dallas.

Absolutely fabulous! This hotel is perfect is all respects. Staff, amenities, location!!!!!

Our room was very disappointing. However the customer service made up for it. When we first arrived the room had been completely saturated with their "W" Scent, and within 30 minutes I had a migraine. We called the front desk and they sent up an ionizer, which dramatically helped. Food in the hotel restaurant was mediocre (dinner), and the room service omelet we ordered the next morning was rubbery. Our room was too "industrial"; the open bathroom concept was too small and honestly awkward for me and my mother to share. Of course this was the bottom of the line "Wonderful Room" so I suppose you would have to spend quite a bit more to get a decent room. The hotel itself was very hip and cool, but obviously catered for a much younger crowd. If I want a party, I know where to find one. Unfortunately, I will not be going back.

Overall the stay was very enjoyable but in my opinion simple is best. Upon trying to order room service the phone system was either to difficult to operate or just wasnt working properly, no dial tone and ten minuntes later thankful to cell phones we were able to reach the front desk explain our problem and order food. I will return to stay at the W.

The View room was nice with a good view. However the room has a really weird layout - completely open bathroom - so if you order room service you don't want anyone in the shower. Also means you can't steam up the bathroom if you want - and if you like your room cold it makes for a chilly shower. The eye candy of the pros in the lobby was nice, but not really family friendly, of course kids wouldn't know what they were seeing really anyway. Sorry Craft has left, but the replacement restaurant was good. Room service and the service itself was really good. Definitely a place to stay if you seeing something at AA center. They are remolding this summer June - August to give all bathrooms more privacy - so if you are going to stay then, ask for a discount if there is going to be noise My wife and I were planning on a birthday weekend lounge session - not bad, but won't choose here again.

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel, and it has fallen fast. The valet was unattentive and it was difficult to get parked to check-in. My room key did not work so I had to come back to the front desk. The shower had little water pressure (I also overheard the guy in front of me checking out stating he had all kinds of plumbing problems as well). I could not believe that they also charged me $2 per call for "toll free" numbers. Their main Ghost Bar closed down months ago. This now has to be about the worst W in their chain. this is really a 3 Star hotel these days and is WAY overpriced.

I was very pleased. I was able to get early check in. I was able to walk right across to the concert. All the employees were friendly and helpful. Room was wonderful, great view, comfy bed.

We stayed for the game at AA center! It was the perfect location! Walked out the hotel door and there was the AA!! We were able to leave the car in Valet the entire time!

Everything was top shelf - only thing to consider was bathroom, it is open to bedroom separated by curtain - cool design but gave us a lil pause as I was with someone new - otherwise it was wonderful and will return

If I pay for a premium room, I expect a premium room. Cramped space, limited towels & toiletries and no convenience of in-room refridgerator. Limited transportation alternatives. Room service was slow, mediocre and pricey. Pool was beautiful, but access to it and the view of the Dallas skyline was limited. I will not go back to this location.

We stayed on our way to padre island. It's right next to American Airlines arena. It was nice hotel. Parking sucks but valet was nice.

Great views of Dallas, eclectic designs throughout, comfortable room and very attentive staff makes this a top choice when in Dallas. However with the Ghost Bar gone some of the bloom is off the rose.

Had a great time staying at the W with my daughter !! Had 2 full days of shopping, great restaurants, relaxing massages at the Bliss Spa and wonderful accommodations!

Our stay was a positive experience, however the hotel is overpriced. Sparsely supplied room, I.e. No shower caps or coffeemaker provided. Maybe could have requested them, but should have been provided at the price we paid. walking distance to concert venue. Very convenient with no other hotel nearby, so there is no competition. Hence the price.

My room was not the cleanness nor did any of the outlets worked .

Had an awesome room !!!! Right across the street from AA Center. Would stay again for any concert in Dallas. Room Service is the Bomb!!!

My overall stay was great. The only issue I had was the comforter on the bed and not been cleaned throughly. This should be addressed and taken care of.

So very accomadating staff.

The location, cleanliness of the rooms and the amazing beds make this hotel a must return to hotel. However next time without kids. Downside for us was only one chair in the room with two kids there was no space to eat dine in. We attended a concert at the American Airline center so the location in regards to that was perfect! The staff was super accommodating and very friendly.

Stay at any other hotel in Dallas and you will be a much happier person. If you look at the history of my reviews (if it's possible on here), I have never had a bad experience at a hotel. This was a terrible place. I had always wanted to stay at a W hotel. NEVER AGAIN. Dallas-Victory ruined this brand for me.

My reserved room type was not available upon check -in, but the receptionist (Angelika) handled it so well, that we did not mind at all. Staff was attentive and professional, in spite of the oversized crowd as a result of a nearby concert.

The hotel is beautiful, sleek and sexy.The room was very clean. The hallways are quiet. The staff was pleasant but not overly friendly. Some people may like that type of interaction but we prefer a more outgoing and attentive staff. We did not eat in the hotel since we had dinner plans elsewhere. We are not into the club scene, so we did not go into the Ghost Bar. I would think that as a guest of the hotel, the W would not charge the guest a cover charge to enter the Ghost Bar. I was disappointed that only one bottle of complimentary water was available in the room. I was also suprized to find that there was limited bathroom amenities available. Q-tips and cotton swabs would have been a nice touch. I have stayed in hotels with a lower price point and they offer plenty of complimentary perks with in the room ( mouthwash, toothpaste, toothbrush, q-tips, cotton swabs, etc). The Bliss items were lovely. Our safe in the room was not working and security came immediately to help us out. He determined that it would take longer to fix and he safely stored our items in the hotel safe while we were out for the evening. We appreciated his prompt attention to our issue. This is a lovely hotel and I can only comment on our interaction with staff and our thoughts on the hotel room. Again, this is a very lovely hotel. We had certain expectations based upon experiences at other hotels and that is what we would prefer in a hotel stay.

Hotel is nice and fun. We got a room that the AC unit sounded like it was about to come off the wall. Didn't get much sleep because of it so check the unit before you go out for the night and want to crash when you get back.

Great hotel, especially location in center of downtown. Lovely rooms, tho' no free WiFi - only in lobby.

Great hotel...fun, edgy....not what it was when it first opened but still cool. The staff seems a bit more common than they used to...not quite as trendy but still helpful. Pool scene is much more under control so that was nice...would stay again....

Was disppointed at the random people they just had standing around the entrance of the hotel people who werent even staying there...the valet was a mess no one knew if you coming or going just not what you would expect at the W Hotel, kinda disappointed.

Hotel was noisy and did not appreciate everything in the room having a price tag on it. I had booked for anniversary if i wanted to stay at a 7-11 I would have gone there.

I thought by getting a more expensive hotel room I'd get better service, our a view, our even a clean room but nothing of the sort. there was yellow crust on sol the beds sheets, the 2 in our room, the shower is right next to one of the beds, the pool was filthy and there was non stop partying all through the night. At for in the morning we were woken up by what sounded like a lady was being murdered in the hallway followed by an hour long throwing session of whatever could be found in the hallway. The glass on the infinity pool was so filthy you couldn't even see the sunset and the lobby was filled with ruffians and riff raff.all night drinking at one of the bars on the bottom floor. Save your money and go somewhere else. They even charge for wi-fi. I will definitely not be going there again.

WHAT AN AWESOME PLACE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE PAMPERED. FROM THE TIME WE ARRIVED UNTIL THE DAY WE LEFT THE STAFF AND PERSONNEL WERE EXCEPTIONAL. LOVED IT!!! WELL BE BACK MR & MRS D BABB

It is a great location. Modern rooms. Elegant. But not off the charts by any stretch.

The staff of the hotel was very nice and helpful. The hotel rooms are horrible. You walk immediately into the bathroom when you come into the room and only have a curtain for privacy. will never stay there again. I think the hotel is meant for alot younger folks!!

Great hotel as far as amenities. Craft Restaurant was good not great, neighborhood is a little boring.

We often stay at W Hotels because we love the modern decor and the customer service, and the "W Dallas - Victory" will not disappoint; however, we noticed one odd thing in our room. The Bathroom/Shower area is an open concept and looks into the Bedroom (although it can be closed off) and the toilet is in a separate room whereby you can close the door. Here is where things get a little weird...in almost every hotel I have ever stayed in (whether upscale or not) there is always a separate light switch for an exhaust fan. This particular W didn't have an exhaust fan and the only reason we noticed it is because there was a sewer smell eminating from the toilet and when I went to turn on the exhaust fan...there wasn't one. We weren't in our room very much so it didn't make that much of a different and we kept the bathroom door to the toilet closed the entire time, but very frustrating to have such a foul smell that we were not able to at least "exhaust" out of the toilet room. Other than that, great room, view and service all around.
